2018 VoicePlay winter wrap-up — conclusions, adventures, and fortifications
The guys started the year by recharging from the rush of the holiday season, releasing more of the previous year's music, and working on some personal projects before they hit the road again.
.
Hot and cold
First up was J.None's feature on ATK's single "Guilty" on New Year's Day, followed the next day by VoicePlay's "Waving Through A Window" collaboration with Kurt Hugo Schneider that they'd filmed in October, and a fun animated version of "Happy Birthday" for their fans a couple days after that. J also completed filming for his nephew's first music video with some help from family and friends.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
.
Amid the celebrations, though, they also lamented that Florida was experiencing some actual winter weather that their homes weren't built for.
Tumblr media
.
Luckily, they had an escape planned, in the form of a quick cruise to the Bahamas aboard the familiar Disney Dream. J.None livestreamed part of their drive to the ship, and recorded a short Instagram video in the port.
Tumblr media
.
Business and pleasure
Once they were back home, they announced the release of their "Look What You Made Me Do" video with pocket.watch, then headed even farther north for their annual trip to the Association of Performing Arts Professionals conference in NYC. During a day of showcase concerts, they spent some backstage time with the Plain White T's and singer/songwriter Eric Hutchinson. Once they were done, they met up with their fellow Floridians in Vox Audio and The Edge Effect for some hang time.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
.
The conference seems to have paid off in interesting ways, since it led to this vague Twitter conversation:
Tumblr media
.
Mouse-apallooza
While the other guys tended to things at home, J.None headed to Los Angeles as part of the workshop week for Disney's new touring group DCappella, under the musical direction of Deke Sharon.
The first wave cast that emerged from this process was Morgan (soprano), Shelley (mezzo), Sojourner (alto), RJ (tenor), Orlando (baritone), Joe (bass), and Antonio (percussion). That lineup was featured in music videos and live shows.
J.None was chosen to sing baritone in the second wave cast, which ultimately didn't end up touring, but those members were still featured on some of the group's audio recordings, and some later cycled into the touring cast as the original members retired.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
.
Meanwhile, Layne and Tony finished up PattyCake's long awaited "Grande Mermaid" video and released it into the wild, then got to work filming their next project, "The Disney Showman".
.
Hey there, cats and kittens
Once J.None was back on the East Coast, VoicePlay spent a Saturday morning entertaining animal medicine professionals as part of the opening day of the annual Vetinary Meeting & Expo. They even met fellow animal lover Michael J. Fox, who spoke about the emotional benefits of pets to his quality of life as a disabled person.
Tumblr media
It's unclear whether the guys got to spend any time with the animals that were on site for hands-on educational sessions, or the pets attendees had brought with them to participate in a 5K fundraiser fun-run. At least most of them got to go home to their own furry friends afterward.
.
Southwest adventures
The next weekend, VoicePlay headed west. Their show in Oakland, CA was cancelled due to a scheduling conflict at the venue, but they still had a grand time in Tempe, AZ and Las Vegas. Especially since they got to see several Patreon patrons in person. (And some fans continued the tradition of gifting them with snacks.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
.
Back to the grind
The following weekend was bookended by business time. After facing disappointment at a restaurant on Friday, they played it safe for their weekly planning meeting on Monday by gathering at Casa Lucci.
Tumblr media
.
Positive vibes
J.None spent the Presidents' Day holiday filming an anti-bullying music video with Alexis Taylor Kritsky, his big sister and nephew, a local activist, and a group of volunteers.
.
The next day, DCINY announced the featured singers for their annual Total Vocal a cappella concert, including VoicePlay.
Tumblr media
instagram
.
While that was happening, the PattyCake guys teamed up with their old friends at Entertainment Central Productions to film a fun video for their grown-up girl group, 4Eva29.
.
Oh no, Mister Bill Earl!
February ended with a little more excitement than expected when Earl wound up in the hospital for an emergency appendectomy. But through a combination of his otherwise good health, stubbornness, and the wonders of modern surgical techniques, he was back on his feet in just a couple days. The guys didn't even need to postpone their shows at the beginning of March.
Tumblr media
.
Midwest trip
With their tenor on the mend, VoicePlay headed toward the Great Lakes for a loop through central Indiana, western Ohio, and eastern Illinois.

Thursday — Culver, IN

Friday — Cincinnati, OH
The guys discovered a tiny, creepy attic door in their accommodations for the night.

They returned there a year and a half later as part of their 2019 Warm Up holiday tour.
.
Sing for me!
The PattyCake guys started the next week by filming a Greatest Showman / Phantom of the Opera mashup video with classical singer Fernando Varela. They recruited Leah Lowman from their rotating "Unexpected Musicals" cast to play Christine, and Tony dusted off his mask and cape to cameo as the lurking Phantom.
.
A couple days later, Layne lent a hand — and his home studio's equipment — to one of his girls and her friends to record a song for a video project they entered into a student film contest at their school. (And they won!)
.
When the weekend rolled around, VoicePlay headed over to the Gulf Coast for a show in Tarpon Springs.
Tumblr media
.
In the middle of the week, the guys gathered at Rayne's Room to get nostagic with a new "Aca Top 10" countdown featuring the cartoon themes of their childhoods.
.
They spent the next day performing at a private outdoor event in Palm Beach (and communing with some of the local wildlife).
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
.
Big Apple time
In advance of the Total Vocal show, Layne and Cyndi took their older girls and Layne's parents to NYC for a couple days of spring break family time, seeing the sights and a couple Broadway shows.
The rest of VoicePlay flew up on Friday to rehearse for the concert on Saturday and perform on Sunday. A grand time was had by all as they reunited with Deke Sharon and other aca-friends from DCappella and Vocalosity, and met new friends from Pentatonix and the Pitch Perfect movies.
.
Work, work
After flying home and getting a little rest, it was time to get back to business, planning their video projects for the coming months.
Tumblr media
.
From four to five once more
VoicePlay capped off the season by finally formally welcoming J.None to their permanent ranks.
Since J had started appearing at concerts even before Tony officially left, had guested in four music videos before they stopped crediting him as a featured singer, and was included as a member of the group on the liner notes for their new holiday album, this was more of a confirmation than an announcement, but it was a very welcome one.

Navigating Florida's Hot Real Estate Market: A Realtor's Guide
Florida's real estate market has been on fire, driven by demand for warm weather, tax benefits, and increasing population growth. As a result, navigating this competitive market requires expert insight and strategic planning. Realtors play a crucial role in helping buyers and sellers understand the landscape, find the right properties, and make informed decisions. Here’s a comprehensive guide to navigating Florida’s real estate market as a realtor.
1. Understanding the Florida Real Estate Landscape
Florida’s real estate market varies widely across different regions, with hotspots like Miami, Orlando, Tampa, and Naples seeing heightened activity. Realtors must stay up to date with current market conditions, including inventory shortages, rising home prices, and shifting buyer preferences. In certain areas, Florida has seen a surge in cash buyers, investment properties, and vacation home purchases, which presents unique challenges and opportunities.
Key Points:
Florida is experiencing rapid growth, particularly in coastal and metropolitan areas.
Low interest rates and favorable tax laws make Florida appealing to out-of-state buyers, especially from the Northeast and Midwest.
Rising property values require buyers and sellers to act quickly.
2. Staying Informed on Market Trends
A key role of a realtor is to stay informed about real estate market trends. Florida’s housing market often fluctuates due to seasonal tourism, weather patterns, and economic conditions. Realtors should regularly analyze data on home sales, average listing prices, and the number of active listings to give clients accurate insights.
Emerging Trends:
Increased demand for single-family homes and condominiums in suburban areas.
Popularity of properties with outdoor spaces, pools, and proximity to beaches.
Growing interest in properties that cater to remote work and vacation homes.
3. Adapting to Shifting Buyer Demographics
Florida’s real estate market attracts a wide range of buyers, from retirees to young professionals and international investors. Realtors must adapt to the specific needs of these diverse groups.
Retirees often prioritize proximity to medical facilities, retirement communities, and quiet neighborhoods.
Young professionals and families look for affordable properties, good schools, and work-from-home accommodations.
Investors seek properties with strong rental potential or vacation homes in tourist-heavy regions.
Understanding these buyer profiles enables realtors to tailor their strategies and match clients with properties that meet their specific criteria.
4. Leveraging Local Expertise
Florida real estate laws and regulations differ from other states, so realtors need to have a deep understanding of local policies, taxes, and zoning restrictions. Additionally, familiarity with issues like hurricane preparation, flood zones, and insurance requirements is crucial.
Why Local Expertise Matters:
Coastal properties may require special insurance policies (e.g., flood and windstorm insurance).
Knowledge of local HOA rules, building codes, and restrictions helps clients avoid legal complications.
Realtors who know the neighborhoods can provide clients with insights into amenities, lifestyle, and future development projects.
5. Building a Strong Network
Networking is key in Florida’s fast-paced market. Building strong relationships with mortgage brokers, home inspectors, appraisers, and title companies can help speed up the buying and selling process.
Networking Tips:
Collaborate with local contractors to assist buyers with renovations or repairs.
Partner with local financial advisors who can offer insights on tax benefits and property investments in Florida.
Connect with other real estate professionals in the state for referrals, particularly in regions where you're less familiar.
6. Mastering Technology and Digital Marketing
Given Florida’s appeal to out-of-state buyers, realtors must leverage technology and digital marketing strategies. Virtual tours, drone photography, and online listings can make a significant impact in attracting buyers who may not be able to visit in person.
Digital Strategies for Realtors:
Use high-quality photography and video to showcase properties.
Offer virtual walkthroughs for out-of-town buyers.
Utilize social media and online platforms like Zillow, Realtor.com, and local MLS systems to promote listings.
Engage with clients through email newsletters, social media updates, and market reports to keep them informed about opportunities.
7. Understanding Financing in Florida’s Market
Financing plays a critical role in the real estate transaction. While some buyers are cash-heavy, others rely on mortgage financing. Realtors need to be well-versed in the various financing options available to Florida homebuyers.
Common Financing Options:
Conventional Loans: Standard mortgages, requiring a strong credit history.
FHA Loans: For buyers with lower credit scores or smaller down payments, but may require additional property inspections.
VA Loans: Offered to veterans with zero down payment options.
Cash Offers: Increasingly common in Florida, particularly for high-demand properties.
Educating clients about the benefits and limitations of each financing option can help them make informed decisions and increase the likelihood of a smooth transaction.
8. Preparing Buyers for Florida’s Competitive Market
The fast pace of Florida’s real estate market means buyers need to be prepared to move quickly. As a realtor, it’s important to guide clients through the pre-approval process, help them narrow down their options, and advise them on making competitive offers.
Steps for Buyer Readiness:
Ensure buyers have a mortgage pre-approval or proof of funds before beginning their search.
Offer guidance on setting realistic expectations based on their budget and the current market.
Be ready to act fast when a suitable property becomes available, especially in highly competitive neighborhoods.
9. Helping Sellers Maximize Their Returns
For sellers, the goal is to get the highest possible price in the shortest amount of time. Realtors need to use their market expertise to price homes accurately, advise on staging, and create compelling listings that highlight the property's best features.
Maximizing Seller Success:
Use Comparative Market Analysis (CMA) to price homes competitively based on recent sales.
Advise sellers on cost-effective renovations or updates to increase home value.
Stage homes to appeal to Florida buyers, emphasizing outdoor living spaces, pools, and energy-efficient features.
10. Navigating Legal and Closing Challenges
Closing on a property in Florida can involve several legal and logistical challenges, including title searches, home inspections, and appraisals. Realtors need to guide their clients through each step and work closely with title companies and lawyers to ensure a smooth closing process.
Common Closing Issues:
Title defects or issues with property boundaries.
Inspection reports revealing damage from hurricanes, termites, or mold.
Appraisal issues, particularly if the market is moving faster than comparable sales can support.

Elevating Spaces: The Art of Interior Design in Orlando, FL
Nestled in the heart of Florida, Orlando is not only known for its enchanting theme parks and vibrant entertainment scene but is also emerging as a hub for exquisite interior design. The city's diverse cultural influences and its residents' appreciation for aesthetic living spaces have given rise to a flourishing community of interior designers who transform houses into homes and commercial spaces into showcases of creativity. In this article, we will delve into the world of interior design in Orlando, exploring the talents, trends, and unique aspects that make the local design scene stand out.
Orlando's interior design landscape is characterized by a rich tapestry of styles, from modern and contemporary to classic and eclectic. The city's diverse population has fostered a melting pot of design influences, creating a unique aesthetic that sets it apart from other design hubs. One prominent feature of Orlando's interior design scene is its ability to seamlessly blend traditional Southern charm with cutting-edge modernity.
A key player in Orlando's interior design arena is the emphasis on functionality and comfort. Many designers in the area prioritize creating spaces that not only look stunning but also cater to the practical needs and lifestyles of their clients. Whether it's a cozy family home in the suburbs or a sleek downtown condominium, Orlando interior designers excel in crafting spaces that are not just visually appealing but also highly functional.
In recent years, sustainable design practices have gained traction in Orlando's interior design community. With an increasing awareness of environmental issues, many designers are incorporating eco-friendly materials, energy-efficient fixtures, and sustainable design principles into their projects. This commitment to sustainability not only aligns with global trends but also reflects the city's dedication to creating spaces that are both beautiful and environmentally responsible.
Orlando's interior designers also draw inspiration from the city's unique cultural heritage. The influence of Spanish, African, and Caribbean cultures is evident in the vibrant color palettes, intricate patterns, and eclectic furnishings that characterize many local designs. This cultural fusion adds a distinct flair to Orlando's interior design, making it a dynamic and exciting field for both designers and clients.
In terms of trends, Orlando's interior design scene is not confined to a single style. The city embraces a mix of timeless classics and avant-garde designs, creating a diverse range of options for clients. From mid-century modern revivals to industrial chic aesthetics, Orlando designers are adept at interpreting and incorporating the latest trends into their work while ensuring each design remains timeless and tailored to the client's tastes.
Collaboration is a cornerstone of the Orlando interior design community. Many designers work closely with local artisans, craftsmen, and furniture makers to create custom pieces that add a personal touch to their projects. This collaborative spirit not only supports the local economy but also fosters a sense of community among Orlando's design professionals.
One notable aspect of Orlando's interior design landscape is the prevalence of design firms that specialize in themed and hospitality design. Given the city's reputation as a tourist destination, many designers in Orlando have carved out niches in creating immersive and visually stunning interiors for hotels, restaurants, and entertainment venues. This specialization showcases the versatility of Orlando's design community, demonstrating an ability to translate creativity into functional and commercially successful spaces.
In conclusion, Orlando, FL, has become a vibrant hub for interior design, where creativity knows no bounds, and diversity is celebrated. The city's interior designers infuse spaces with a unique blend of cultural influences, creating homes and commercial environments that are both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional. From the emphasis on sustainability to the collaborative spirit that defines the community, Orlando's interior design scene continues to evolve and captivate both residents and visitors alike. As the city grows and transforms, so too does its interior design landscape, ensuring that Orlando remains a destination for those seeking exceptional and personalized design solutions.

What Are the Hottest Real Estate Trends in Florida?
Florida has been synonymous with scoring real estate. Natural disasters and climate change have done little to make the Sunshine State a less desirable destination for practically everybody. Its enchanting appeal to students, retirees, entrepreneurs, workers, tourists and snowbirds has made its local real estate markets vibrant and profitable.
Will Floridian locations and properties remain attractive in the coming months? Learn about the most noteworthy trends to set your expectations for the peninsula’s residential real estate sector.
1. Fewer Homes Are Changing Hands
The Land of Flowers saw 26,363 homes sold in December 2023, representing a 5.4% dip year-over-year. Regarding single-family houses, the downtick was only 3.9%. However, the demand for townhouses and condominium units fell by 8.8% and 10.7%, respectively.
The December figures may be bearish, but homebuyers were more bullish on Florida compared to the rest of the United States. Existing home sales dropped by 19% nationally in 2023 — the lowest in 30 years.
The Florida residential real estate sector is showing signs of cooling off since home sales peaked at 52,147 in March 2021. It was a relatively steady decline. Monthly home sales in 2023 didn’t cross the 40,000 mark.
2. Buyers Are Paying Top Dollar
The Cirtrus Capital’s all-transactions house price index jumped 4.95% in Q3 2023 year-over-year. This data combines appraisal figures and sales prices, reflecting professional appraisers' opinions and homebuyers' sentiments.
Although fewer homes are getting sold in Florida, it’s reassuring that buyers are ponying up more money to make the state their home. This figure suggests sellers still control the markets and bidding wars remain fierce.
Historical data says this trend won’t run out of steam in the future. Only one quarter saw this metric drop since Q3 2012. Gaining a foothold in the Gulf State’s real estate market sooner rather than later is ideal. Barring housing bubbles, property appreciation is practically a foregone conclusion.
3. Property Values Are Skyrocketing
Florida has overtaken New York as the second-most valuable residential real estate market. According to a September 2023 Zillow report, the Tropicana State’s total housing market value exceeded $3.8 trillion — up 4.3% since June 2022. Regarding the average home value, the figure is $383,063 — 8.2% higher year-over-year.
Florida metropolitan areas are on a roll. The Miami–Fort Lauderdale real estate market is worth $1.2 trillion — the sixth-largest among metros nationwide. Four of the six housing markets with the highest gains in value since the pandemic are in the state. They’re Tampa, Miami, Jacksonville and Orlando, growing by 72.3%-88.9%.
The Empire State is only $156.5 billion behind Florida. However, New York is trending downward. The Gateway to the West is losing people, while the Orange State has more in-movers than out-movers. Actually, Florida is the destination of those emigrating from the Knickerbocker State.
4. More Energy-Efficiency Projects Are Underway
Residential and commercial property owners in the Everglade State actively tackle green improvements, thanks to Florida PACE — Property Assessed Clean Energy. On average, the state’s energy conservation and hurricane protection funding agency helps finance 2,132 projects yearly, spending north of half a billion dollars from 2015 to the first half of 2023.
The PACE program comes with a reasonable payment plan to make typically unaffordable repairs, upgrades and replacements more manageable. Hundreds of projects qualify for it, giving Floridians considerable latitude in making their properties more climate-resilient, code-compliant, sustainable, comfortable and valuable. Many prioritize window upgrades because about 30% of heat loss within the house occurs through leaky and thermally underperforming fenestration units. Getting a new exterior door, roof or generator is high on others agendas.
Florida PACE also makes decarbonizing air conditioning by installing a heat pump budget-friendly. This electrification project costs about $18,000 in the South Atlantic. A funding source with no money down and no credit checks is desirable.
5. New Foreign Players Are Bidding
South Florida has been a magnet for international residential real estate buyers. In 2023, foreign nationals bought 6,200 homes worth $5.1 billion. It’s down 25% year-over-year, but the downturn spoke more of the overall housing market than of the interest from non-domestic players. International buyers retained 18% of the region’s total deal volume.
The vast majority of South Florida residence hunters are from Latin America. The Columbians are well represented, accounting for 15%. The Argentines and Brazilians comprise 14% and 7% of investors, respectively. The rest are from Venezuela, Mexico, Peru, Chile and Ecuador.
Canada is an outlier. Based on anecdotal evidence from real estate brokers, many buyers with deep pockets from the Great White North are shopping around South Florida while flying under the radar. These loaded Canadians are taking seven-figure properties off the market — a rare sight before the pandemic.
The Canadian invasion of South Florida may just be getting started. Developers are taking notice and recalibrating their marketing strategies to generate more business from loaded buyers north of the border.
6. Rent Prices Are Stabilizing
Rents in some Florida metros are falling. In December 2023, Jacksonville and Cape Coral landlords charged 0.29% and 0.17% less year-over-year, respectively. These cuts were negligible but might be psychologically beneficial to aspiring tenants.
Still, rents across the Flower State are at a premium. In the same month, Miami recorded the most inflated one, which was 6.23% more expensive than it should be. It translated to a 0.11% reduction month-over-month, though.
On the bright side, five Florida metros in the Waller, Weeks and Johnson Rental Index were below the national rent premium average of 2.58%. Four were less than 2% away from matching their estimated reasonable rent prices. Jacksonville rents were even discounted by 0.10%. In other words, you could earn $68,548.09 and live in Jax without 30% of your annual income on rent.
Unfortunately, rent prices in said metros may spike once more tenants simultaneously search for homes. Florida gives landlords the privilege to set rents without restrictions based on demand.
Trends Come and Go
Some Florida trends must be music to the ears of investors and home sellers, while others may sound terrible news to buyers and renters. That’s just the nature of the beast. For better or worse, real estate markets are cyclical and conditions will eventually be more favorable for the other parties.

Helium asylum is sitting next door harassing our son and he's doing it quite a bit all night long actually and all day everyday and so the other imbecile and say he's messing with them and also the stuff and it's really the program that Dave gave them and handed one too them. It has certain protocols in it and they open it up and of course it saved him somehow and nobody knows where he is. And soon they'll figure out that they've been fooled now we think they'll be dead before they actually figured out his way too many things going on for our sense to know and that's not true but there's no one actually happened to Dave audette. And there are more things going on there is an invasion Force and there's a fleet that is arriving right now and it's huge it's Giant and it's about 8 million octillion troops and 300 million ships it's ridiculous in size it's so big and it is getting bigger and amassing will be fully amassed in about 3 hours and people say it's too big and they're hitting it now and the forces are coming in all the time and they're hitting those and it's Non-Stop and they're refueling and rearming very quickly and they are obliterating all the opposing forces within about 300 miles of each base and then perimeter keeps on getting pushed out
-here in Florida there about 300 million people who don't understand what's going on cuz they're trying to get into punta Gorda and Port Charlotte and they're at the walls yeah the inner walls no they're not at a wall you're at the outer perimeter they're being hit right now and there's about eight octillion coming from the other cities and they're being hit and fairly soon there won't be anybody coming from the other cities and they won't be escaping the cities are entering Florida and all except for foreigners and us in the mat then I still try and stop that later but they'll be fighting the trumps and the warlock and Tommy have for quite a while at least a week at the most.
-Mac is enacted many of the rules and laws with his and has put forward some new programs and he has also awarded us 200,000 more projects. This is gigantic number of jobs and it is as we broke it down but generally it's around oh my God that
45, 000 apartments each unit is about 400 or bigger and that's a lot of apartments that is a kick but number that's about 1,000 that are 1,000 units and 500 that are $5,000 that is a ton of units number 2.5 million in that section alone and there are about 300 that are 10,000 in Florida he's going to be giant areas and they're going to be working on things and they need industrial buildings for taking to build those and stay in a lot of them I said as the intensive intend to build tons and the building up the East Coast and we have a lot of contracts we have about 1 million contracts on the East Coast our companies the other chunk of it is
$25,000 commercial buildings meeting offices retail towers about 300 towers most in Tampa now there's some Tampa some in Miami Southern Sarasota believe it or not and some of Norris and Gainesville Orlando Tallahassee they're about but these are Big okay 1500 ft square by 1,000 high so yeah like 90 stories or 80 stories and it's gigantic and there's also
50,000 retail stores and they're big and big boxes all brand new because the other said sabotage all of them and all are current brands in our cadre not oursyet
About 80,000 housing so that would be like duplexes small apartment complexes of 100 units or less I should say about 400 units or less and tracks something tracks I was 80,000 like 40,000 tracks not just single family homes there's 40,000 tracks going in and that would leave about 30,000 and that's going to be housing reconstruction and finally it begins and it's not those kids it's not those kids of yours Maxwell see some stuff they don't believe we're going to do it my neighborhood our son's idea and really we knew about it and set the stage and sometimes it's a good idea so and we can't keep saying this okay well we have stuff like that a lot of it stainless steel titanium and he says that was a big one going to see what you're saying diamonds and that was one of our friends Apollo and got his wife from Russia and would love to everybody it was very happy tonight I'm very busy and son daughter say it aren't you busy? He laughs and smiles and says yes very and they go good. This is like to be the chunk of it it's tearing out all these houses and putting new ones in something's historically save it but they're all disgusting and they're mold and gross stuff in them grow stuff under them and skeletons all that stuff get cleared out and they're too low in the ground and tons of stupid things that are wrong. Then that's it for the projects except for heavy highway and yeah there's like 10,000 of those it's over 200,000 projects total and the 10,000 includes several small Bridges about 1,000 and $800 big ones that are like a quarter mile and 50,000 miles of canal we put in about two three hundred miles each and about five of those yesterday fully and they're working now we put the geomat in last night and they are operational and water smoothie it's good cuz Okeechobee is overflowing and still sends tons of water down it's not stuff and then water basin is empty it needs to be filled huge amounts of cracking houses yes now let's go down there real fast and what does it mean it several areas of Florida need huge amounts of work and we're going to get those contracts next probably after the second match of 30,000 is complete and the first batch was 90% in the awarded the $200,000 the second batch should be completed tomorrow and it's so fast it said for today did you get a medal and so many tried attacking to get a medal as worked the system they got.
-there's a number of people that are watching and wondering what's happening at 7:00 is shaking his hands and it's from stress and strain on tendons moving to help him oxygen levels going up to 28 tonight right now they're 25 you can finally see it he moves into the path again and he feels fine nothing different either tonight he'll feel a little bit no and tomorrow is going to feel it.
-cuz and there are tons of people who are going to the morgue tonight and I got this here tonight and they are severely executed. You'll find Max more pressure than anyone or terrorism and so w doesn't like it
-huge numbers of people say it slept in 3 hours but it was like five maybe three more he's going to get it shortly and I have 2% on the phone charge so I'll see it briefly has a huge number of people I'm asking again at the borders of each City and they're coming from the sea in there at the walls and they're getting hit there's only a few more cities that don't have walls and people from there are going and trying to get into other areas and are failing at PG and PC are walled off met with a large area that's exposed to the ocean and the Charlotte harbor and tons of people are going there to try and get in huge numbers of boats is there tonight and basically they get hold off and it doesn't affected Cincinnati strategy a lot of the people are fought by Tommy f and it's because he is a couple of reasons why I always do it.
-there's a whole new policy out MAX and foreigners and it's extinction of the warlock race. Not mutants morlocks and they made an appointment there's a few more things
-for 1% is going to charge up so we'll know them real quick these people are falling apart they're trying to invade and they're flowing in practically all their peoples try and do so and they're not making it in as of yet but they are attempting to Canada is refilling in Russia and you can find another the Brazil area and the islands for the fourth or fifth time tonight lost track and the fleet is growing and growing and it's going to be a nightmare a terrible loss for them and will continue tomorrow all day and all night until they're gone evacuations have continued to to the big Islands and bja is sitting out now huge ships and it will be over up in the upper Midwest and Midwest trolley we didn't day or two

Growing up in Northeast Los Angeles and in Northern California, he joined the American post-hardcore band From First to Last as the lead singer in 2004, and recorded two studio albums with the band (Dear Diary, My Teen Angst Has a Body Count, 2004, and Heroine, 2006) before leaving to pursue a solo career in 2007.[3][4] He began his first tour as a solo artist in late 2007. After recruiting a new band lineup, Moore joined the Alternative Press Tour to support bands such as All Time Low and The Rocket Summer, and appeared on the cover of Alternative Press' annual "100 Bands You Need to Know" issue.[5]
After releasing the Gypsyhook EP in 2009, Moore was scheduled to record his debut studio album, Bells, with producer Noah Shain. He ceased production of the album, however, and began performing under the name Skrillex, distributing the My Name Is Skrillex EP for free download on his official MySpace page. Subsequently, he released the Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites EP in late–2010 and More Monsters and Sprites EP in mid–2011, both of which have since become moderate commercial successes. On November 30, 2011, he received five Grammy Award nominations at the 54th Grammy Awards, including Best New Artist and won three: "Best Dance/Electronica Album", "Best Dance Recording", and "Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical".[6] On December 5, 2011, the BBC announced that he had been nominated for their Sound of 2012 poll.[7] On December 12, 2011, he was also named MTV's Electronic Dance Music Artist of the Year.[8]

It was announced on Moore's 29th birthday, he reunited with From First to Last and released a single named "Make War". In 2017, Skrillex produced and mixed 8, the eighth studio album by rock band Incubus.[10] In July 2017, Skrillex released another single featuring debuting solo artist Poo Bear.[11]

Both of his parents were Scientologists.[14][15] He was adopted at birth by family friends of his biological parents and did not find this out until he was 15.[16] By the time he was 12,[citation needed] his family moved back to his birthplace of Northeast Los Angeles. There he enrolled in a private academy school specializing in arts, the school used some of L. Ron Hubbard's teachings.[17] Later he was home schooled at the age of 14 due to bullying. In 2004, he learned he was adopted[18] and dropped out of the program when he was 16.[19][20] While a young teenager in Los Angeles, Moore would attend punk gigs in Mexican American neighborhoods in East and South Los Angeles, and later at electro club raves in the downtown's Silver Lake and Echo Park neighborhoods.[21][22]

After some guessing by many of who Jack Ü was, Diplo finally came out to reveal that "Jack Ü ... means Skrillex and Diplo together".[23]
2004–2007: From First to Last
Sonny Moore in 2008 In 2004, Moore contacted Matt Good of From First to Last about playing guitar for the band on their debut album. After flying out to Georgia, Moore was heard singing by three studio producers, Derrick Thomas, Eric Dale, and McHale Butler, and was then made lead singer, with Good playing guitar. In June 2004, Epitaph Records released the band's first full-length record with their new bandmate, Dear Diary, My Teen Angst Has a Body Count. After performing on several successful tours, two being the Vans Warped Tour and Dead by Dawn tour, they began recording their second album, Heroine with producer Ross Robinson. The album was released in March 2006 on Epitaph. With high record sales once again, the band found themselves part of many successful tours, until Moore started suffering vocal problems, causing the band to resign from several tours. After going through a successful vocal surgical procedure, Moore informed the band he would be permanently resigning to work on a solo career. FFTL's last show performed with Moore was in their hometown of Orlando at The House of Blues while touring with Atreyu.
Moore announced he had left From First to Last to pursue a solo career. He then launched a Myspace page displaying three demos ("Signal", "Equinox", and "Glow Worm"). This led to Moore's first performance since his leaving From First to Last. On April 7, 2007, alongside harpist Carol Robbins, Moore played several original songs at a local art building. After months of releasing demos via Myspace, Moore played on the Team Sleep Tour with a full band. The tour also featured supporting acts Monster in the Machine and Strata. Moore made several demo CDs available on this tour, limited to about 30 per show. These CDs were tour exclusive and were packaged in "baby blue envelopes", each with a unique drawing by Moore or bandmate.[24]
2008–2013: Solo career and extended plays
Skrillex in 2012 In February 2008, Alternative Press Magazine announced the second annual AP Tour, with All Time Low, The Rocket Summer, The Matches, and Forever the Sickest Kids, as well as Sonny Moore. The tour started in Houston, Texas on March 14 and went through North America, ending in Cleveland, Ohio on May 2, with the majority of the shows being sold out. All bands playing the tour would be featured on the cover of Alternative Press Magazine's annual 100 Bands You Need to Know special, and would be interviewed on the Alternative Press Podcast. During this tour, Moore's line-up consisted of Sean Friday on drums, Christopher Null on guitar, and Aaron Rothe on keyboards. On April 7, 2009, he released Gypsyhook, a digital EP, which featured three songs and four remixes. Also included was "海水" ("Kaisui"), a Japanese version of "Mora". Physical copies of the EP were available at his shows. After going on tour with Innerpartysystem and Paper Route and opening for Chiodos on their European tour, Moore performed at Bamboozle on May 2. He performed on Bamboozle Left's Saints and Sinners stage on April 4. He toured with Hollywood Undead in April 2009 performing under the band name Sonny and the Blood Monkeys, with Chris Null (electric guitar), Sean Friday (drums, percussion, and beats) and Aaron Rothe (keyboards, synthesizers, programming, and turntables). Moore has stated that the album Bells will not be released.[25]
In 2008, Moore began producing and performing under the alias Skrillex at clubs in the Los Angeles area.[26] The name, according to Moore, has no meaning and was "a stupid old online AOL screen name".[27] Previously, he had been known on the Internet as Twipz.[28] On June 7, 2010, Moore released his official Skrillex debut EP, My Name Is Skrillex as a free download.[29] Moore provided programming and vocals for UK metalcore band Bring Me the Horizon on their third studio album, There Is a Hell Believe Me I've Seen It. There Is a Heaven Let's Keep It a Secret.[30] Later in the year, Sonny began a nationwide tour with deadmau5 after being signed to mau5trap recordings and released his second EP, Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites.
(L to R:) Porter Robinson, Zedd, and Skrillex performing at SXSW on March 16, 2012 Moore kicked off the "Project Blue Book Tour" in 2011 with support from Porter Robinson, Tommy Lee and DJ Aero as well as appearances from Sofia Toufa for a new song, "Bring Out the Devil". Skrillex unveiled several new songs on this tour including "First of the Year" (formerly known as "Equinox"), "Reptile", and "Cinema" (remix of a Benny Benassi track). "Reptile" was featured in the TV commercial for Mortal Kombat 9, and "First of the Year (Equinox)" is featured on More Monsters and Sprites, his follow-up EP and remix companion to Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites. In April 2011, Spin premiered "Get Up", an exclusive new track from Korn that was produced by Skrillex. Korn made the track available for free download via their Facebook page.[31] On April 15, 2011, KoRn joined Skrillex on stage for his set at Coachella 2011. * Becoming one of the most sought-after stars in Hollywood has gone straight to Ana de Armas' head -- the cast and crew are often left waiting for the actress to emerge from her trailer on the set of the new action thriller The Gray Man -- Ana's got a lot going on and she's juggling several different projects, as well as photo shoots and phone calls with her team and people don't stay mad at her for too long, but they have nicknamed her Ana de Diva, but she isn't upset by the scathing moniker because she's a big name now, and with that comes a lot of responsibility and the way she sees it, there are worse things than being called a diva

Page 20: Pete Davidson has officially moved out of his mother's home and into a $1.2 million luxury high-rise condo on Staten Island, and it's all thanks to his new girl girlfriend, Bridgerton star Phoebe Dynevor -- the Saturday Night Live star showed off his two-bedroom, two-and-a-half bathroom bachelor pad during a Zoom call -- Phoebe is a down-to-earth girl, but she doesn't want to date a man who lives in his mom's basement and she thinks Pete's mom, Amy, is awesome and says it's a great thing that they're super close, but being in a long-distance relationship is difficult enough so Pete and Phoebe need some alone time when they're together, which was almost impossible with his mother hanging out upstairs -- Pete knew it was time; he just needed that gentle nudge
Page 21: Matt James and Rachael Kirkconnell were spotted in NYC together, sparking speculation that the former Bachelor couple have rekindled their relationship -- the pair parted ways while the show was still airing after photos of the graphic designer at a plantation-themed college party in 2018 surfaced on social media -- Rachael made a mistake but she owned up to it and was willing to learn from it and it didn't change her feelings for Matt or vice versa and Matt was in love with Rachael too and he couldn't just turn those feelings off so no one would be surprised if they decided to reconcile

Jordan's girlfriend Lori Harvey was left reeling over photos of the actor sharing a smooch with Chante Adams on the set of their new movie A Journal for Jordan -- of course, they were just shooting a scene for the film, but Lori was still annoyed and she asked Michael about it, and he brushed it off and explained it was part of the job but Lori still has her suspicions and she's been thinking about dropping by the set just so she can keep a very close eye on them

From Set It Off's Blog: How I Became A Member of Set It Off
“Hi, my name is Maxx and I play drums for Set It Off. But, I haven't always played with this band. In fact, I've only known Zach, Austin, Cody, Dan, and Andrew for about six months now. So, I figured the best way to begin this series of blog posts by introducing myself and explaining how I ended up touring around the country with my new family.
My full name is Maxx Danziger. But, everyone in the band calls me Danger because they can’t pronounce my last name to save their life. I was born on February 22, 1990, and am one of the biggest 90’s kids you’ll ever meet (Talk to me about Legends of the Hidden Temple, Surge, or any other nostalgia and we will become fast friends).  I was born and raised in Orlando, Florida, which is the most magical place on earth (except Hogwarts). I started playing drums when I was 10, but I didn’t take it seriously until I was 14. It all started when I was 8 years old. I was carpooling to school with a friend of mine when “What’s My Age Again” by Blink 182 came on the radio. I had never heard anything like it and was immediately hooked. That night I came home and stole my sister’s Blink CD and have been playing it non-stop ever since. I loved the songs but what really got my attention was the drums and that’s how I ended up living in a van. I never played any sports when I was a kid, but I was the water boy for my middle school soccer team, which showed me the value of teamwork and fueled my hatred for soccer (If I wanted to watch people run for hours I’d watch Forrest Gump).  I’m pretty sure peanut butter is the worst food product ever created and I think mashed potatoes feel like they’ve already been pre-chewed. Sometimes I see girls that are so hot it makes me angry (Side note: Olivia Wilde, If you’re reading this, give me a chance. I promise you won’t regret it). I love hot showers, good conversation, high fives, and meeting new people. I love food. I really love food. If there was one thing I loved it would probably be food. On a scale of 1-10, I love food. My favorite holiday is Halloween, because It’s the one time of the year where I can wear a power rangers costume and not be judged. I really hate when people misuse you’re and your, even though I do it all the time. People tell I look like Macaulay Culkin all the time, but in reality everyone knows that it’s the other way around. And lastly, I can fly.
And now, we begin the magical tale of how I ended up playing drums for Set It Off… (Cue flashback music)
The band I was in previously had just broken up and I was looking for a new project. My friend Blake told me that this band Set It Off was looking for a drummer and that I should try out. I had never heard of them so I went on Youtube, watched the Pages and Paragraphs music video, and thought it was quacktastic. So, I sent in a video of me playing 143 (A Set It Off song), Anthem Part 2 (A Blink-182 song), a freestyle jam, and a video of me introducing myself (I put on an entire suit for 3 seconds of footage). I guess the guys liked it because they invited me to their practice place for a live audition. So I packed up my drums, drove 2 hours to Clearwater, Florida (yes, the water there is clear) and met up with the guys. They had me play through a set with them, and gave me 1 hour to learn a song I had never heard before (turned out to be @Reply).  After practice, they told that they had a show coming up with Stereo Skyline, The Audition, and Cady Groves and they wanted me to play. So I stayed in Clearwater for the show. That night I stayed at Dan’s house and as soon as I got there the very first thing he said to me is “Well, I don’t know what you want to do tonight but I just got Young People Fucking if you want to watch that.” After I found out that it wasn’t porn and Dan wasn’t (completely) crazy we became fast friends. After a couple more practices I was ready to play the show. It went super mega great. I got to meet some of the fans and got to watch a band I grew up listening to (The Audition) play some of my favorite songs. Set It Off had a tour coming up and they told me they’d let me know in a couple days if I was going to be joining them. But in the meantime, they had a music video shoot for their new single Hush Hush coming up and they needed a drummer so I agreed to help them out. Not only did I play drums for the video, but the dead body they kick in a ditch is actually just me wrapped in a blanket. At the video shoot Zach told me that they auditioned another drummer and that they were taking him on tour instead of me. Immediately after, he told me he was lying and asked me to go on the Hush Hush tour with them, and as most of you know, I said yes.
There were a lot of stories that happened on that tour. So much in fact that I’m going to save it for another blog post, but to make a long story short, on one of the last days of the tour we had a meeting and they told me that I was officially in the band. The only catch was that they wanted to wait until the new year to make it public so for the next three months I had to lie to everyone and say that I had no idea if I was in the band or not (sorry guys!). In the meantime, we played shows, had a photo shoot, and went to New York to shoot the music video for @Reply (it was freezing there). On January 1st, 2011 the announcement was made that I was the new drummer of Set It Off and now here I am, 6 months later, in a van on my second tour with Set It Off.
In conclusion, these people have become my family and this van has become my home. I’ll probably be stopping by your town soon, so if you see me come say hi! I love a good conversation.”

'On Becoming a God in Central Florida,' with Kirsten Dunst, is a Bonkers Ride
this show is weird. i wish it was...more weird.
Tumblr media
Kirsten Dunst gives her all in the new dramedy "On Becoming a God in Central Florida," debuting on Showtime Sunday. (The first two episodes are currently available to watch via YouTube.) Set in 1992 in an Orlando suburb, Dunst plays Krystal Stubbs, a hardworking and underpaid mother of a small baby and wife to Travis (an off-the-wall Alexander Skarsgard). After spending her days employed at a struggling waterpark right outside Disney World, Krystal comes home to her often manic husband, who is paying less attention to his job (or a "j-o-b" as Travis calls it) as an insurance salesman, and focusing more on getting involved with the cultish pyramided scheme called Founders American Merchandise, or F.A.M. Krystal is sick and tired of putting up with Travis and his devotion to F.A.M. He's poured thousands of his family's dollars into buying useless F.A.M. products and merchandise — hoping to sell them to others and recruit them into the organization. Krystal can't seem to talk sense into Travis and pull him out of F.A.M. His devotion to F.A.M. is mostly because of Travis's upline (or, his boss) Cody, played by Canadian actor Théodore Pellerin in a breakout role. Cody is a cartoonish Type-A beta male that promises the world to the Stubbs family (if you quit your "j-o-b" and join F.A.M. fulltime, you'll finally be happy, he claims) and he's the shining star in "On Becoming a God"; it's hard to take your eyes off of him anytime Pellerin is on screen. Krystal can see through his snakeskin suit and half-truths while Travis, who fell into F.A.M. while struggling with alcohol addiction, eats it up. Over the course of the 10-episode season (each episode is about an hour long), Krystal goes down a bonkers rabbit hole, burrowing deeper and deeper into F.A.M. where the mysterious and possibly mentally unwell Obie Garbeau II (Ted Levine) sits atop the strange pyramid. Her decision to sink herself into the organization is sparked by a truly shocking twist in the first episode that involves a mystical white moose but that will not be spoiled here.
"On Becoming a God" offers spectacle and Dunst at her best. The show also features "Last Man on Earth" star Mel Rodriguez as Krystal's good-natured coworker and neighbor Ernie and singer Beth Ditto (yes, you read that right), who gives a wonderful and warm performance as Ernie's wife Bets. The show is peppered with outrageous moments but it is centered by Dunst's performance where she plays Krystal with so much drive, you often wonder if she's breaking bad or even a complete manipulative psychopath. It's great to see Dunst as an anti-hero and the show is a smart satire on the American dream. Created by Robert Funke and Matt Lutsky, "On Becoming a God" was originally going to be directed and co-produced by Greek filmmaker Yorgos Lanthimos ("The Favourite," "The Lobster") but during the development process, he dropped out of the project. It's poor form to critique something on what it is not but it is hard not to see what he would have done with "On Becoming a God." Lanthimos's off-kilter and deadpan tone would have been welcomed to this dramedy, which is ultimately enjoyable but lacks that certain punch to send it over the top into a show you'd have to tune into. The dramedy is strange to be sure (George Clooney, along with Dunst herself serve as executive producers) but there's still a lot to be desired from "On Becoming a God." There is a live-wire energy at the get-go of the show but that ebbs and flows throughout the uneven freshman season. At its best, the show is a platform for some fantastic performances.
"On Becoming a God" is the latest story that follows people struggling to make ends meaet who happen to live in Florida — a subgenre that seems to have popped up a number of times since Donald Trump took office. Most notably, the 2017 film "The Florida Project," directed by Sean Baker, featured a young single mother raising her child in a dingy motel outside of Disney World. That same year, the TNT show "Claws" debuted. Starring Niecy Nash, that show follows a group of manicurists in of Manatee County, Florida who are sucked into the world of organized crime and eventually work their way up to the top. There's a lot of similarities between "Claws" and "On Becoming a God." Both feature strong women who give fantastic performances but what they both examine is how the American dream seems impossible in our current climate. Having grit and a good work ethic will not make you prosper in the land of the free, especially if you're a woman. In order to survive, you have to play the game. In "On Becoming a God" that means literally blasting your way through a cult run by a madman.
