Ryan O'Neil grew up an only child in a small suburban home a block from the beach in South Carolina. His mother, Hailey, sold handmade shell jewelry at Myrtle Beach's boardwalk, while his father, Aaron, lived on the road as a sports news anchor trying to make a name for himself. Watching his parents struggle to make ends meet, Ryan worked several jobs in high school, from busboy to oyster shucker to surfing instructor. His junior year, Ryan's father let him tag along to the local fairgrounds where he was covering a major show jumping competition. From the moment Ryan saw the first horse soar over a fence, the boy knew he wanted in–in on the money, in on the parties, in on the fame...

Not a year later, industry veteran, Ana Rosenthal, took him under her wing. Coupled with his raw talent and ambition, Ryan went on to rise up the ranks to the international level. He raked in the money, partied from here to Europe, and ate up the fame, until everything came to a screeching halt with a career-altering accident that left him and his horse hospitalized, right before they were set to enter the 2008 Rio Olympics. Unable to find his footing again, Ryan retired to coaching and opened up his own riding school in Twinbrook, Georgia. Now, nearly a decade later, the man has been handed a second shot at an old dream with a promising horse that could take him all the way to the top. But not all that glitters is gold. As Ryan makes his return to the world of show jumping, he faces old foes, demanding investors, and a new reality–one where he, the man who came from nothing, now has nothing else to lose.

[Daisuke]: How does it feel? Its not too hot is it?

[Luna]: No it feels great

[Daisuke]: I’ve never done something like this before.

[Luna]: Really? It seems like you’re a natural at this. A little too good actually.

[Daisuke]: I can assure you this is a new experience for me. I didn’t realize this much product was needed.

[Luna]: Is it a lot of products? This is typical for my wash days. I didn’t even bring my products for my hot oil treatments

[Daisuke]: Shampoo, Conditioner, Leave in conditioner and something called hair milk. It seems like a lot

[Luna]: haha you sound like my brother. I have to force him to take care of his hair properly. But it’s not a lot I promise you and thank you for the help

[Daisuke]: Do you have any work lined up for Winterfest? I was hoping you could spend the holiday with me and my family

[Luna]: Oh My God! I’m so sorry Dai, You asked me something?

[Daisuke]: I did but it seems like you have a lot on your mind. Is everything okay?

[Luna]: Um...Its fine. I’m just worried about Malcolm, he’s just being a little annoying

[Daisuke]: Oh? Would you like to talk about it?

[Daisuke]: I’ve never seen you blank out like that. If it’s heavy on your chest I’m here to listen

[Luna]: I don’t want to bother you with my family drama. It’s just Malcolm being a big baby

[Luna]: I don’t want to be a bother

[Luna]: I know, I know but it’s still kind of embarrassing

[Daisuke]: Luna. You’re important to me I can’t just ignore you when its obvious you have something on your mind

[Daisuke]: Don’t overthink it. I’m all ears sweetheart

[Daisuke]: I can assure you nothing you tell can be worse than my own family

[Luna]: Really?

[Daisuke]: I promise you. I’ll fill you in on my own family drama. Come up on the couch and talk to me

[Luna]: I have an older brother, Andre, and he left after he graduated high school and just disappeared. Wouldn’t answer our messages or calls and our Dad refused to tell us anything about him. Malcolm took it really hard and feels like Andre didn’t care to stay...didn’t care about us anymore.

[Daisuke]: I’m sorry Luna, that must have been hard

[Luna]: Our dad wasn’t the greatest and Malcolm took a lot of comfort with Andre so when he left it was like that comfort disappeared and he had to deal with our dad on his own. I think he held out hope but when Andre didn’t show up for our graduation he completely wrote Andre off

[Luna]: I recently saw Andre working as a dishwasher at some restaurant and tried to get him to meet Malcolm and it blew up in my face. Malcolm doesn’t even want to have a conversation about him, but I'm worried about Andre. Malcolm feels like I’m going to abandon him, I obviously wouldn’t do that but now I feel I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place.

[Daisuke]: This isn’t overwhelming sweetheart. It’s better to get this all off your chest. Gives you a chance to see things more clearly.

[Luna]: It’s just exhausting. I want them both in my life but Malcolm can be very sensitive and I don’t know how to navigate this. I didn’t mean to overwhelm you but I just wanted to get this off my chest

[Daisuke]: We can keep talking about this for the rest of the night. I’m here to listen to all your grievances

[Luna]: Thank you Dai. This means a lot

[Daisuke]: Come on sweetheart, let's head to the bedroom

[Luna]: Okay. I want to go shopping tomorrow. Come with me?

[Daisuke]: Of Course

Aurelia Albescau is one of three children of Elena, the daughter of a wealthy and influential family in Ravenwood. The Albescau family is very well-known and respected there, their roots dating back to the beginnings of the town.

When Aurelia Albescu found out her mother Elena had died, she was shocked. Although they weren’t very close, Aurelia shared wonderful childhood memories with her. Her grandparents, Valeria and Augustin, are very controlling people and they were never really around.

Elena lived a beautiful happy life away from her parents and had accumulated quite a fortune, so now when her parents and children learned about her death, everyone gathered to hear the will.

The oldest Lucian believes he is entitled to the inheritance since he is the firstborn, grandparents Augustin and Valeria claim that all the property should be theirs since they brought their daughter into the world and gave her life. Aurelia would just like everyone to make up and live in peace, and poor little Beatrice probably doesn't fully understand what happened yet.

hi, so yes you may have already seen this posted to my account, and you're probably wondering "why is she posting this again?" (unless you already saw the mistake)...

i do in fact have one and a half brain cells and it took a friend to point out the mistake to me to realize i had put the same aspiration for 3 generations... oh boy...
