Downtown makeover - Fresh Rush Crosery I so happy I finished this before xmas!! Little xmas presentt!!

I started making this so long ago, but struggled with the insides. I wanted this to still have the huge store vibes, but tbo it's actually really small store. Also sims will sadly just watch tv using the "self chekout". Also the chairs in the breack room are purely decorative so sims might complain if they happen to route there to sit. The lambs are floating because of the high seiling... but let's ignore that <.<' .

Most of the pictures where taken before I really was done with this so there is some edits in the flower coner. It has seperate picture down the cut.

It’s CC free!! no IKEA (placement of the perfume display will look odd without the perfume dislay default) !!!

Downtown, Mendoza Lane houses, slightly improved over the maxis originals, but still very simple.

They're nothing special, but they will be handy to have as starters for future generations of Pleasantview.

35 King Street - Sims 2 Downtown

You ever just get board of your Pleasentview you've played for a year so decide to spice things up by having a second Pleasentview on the side where you add a Downtown and Bluewater Village before you play? Well, That's what I've done haha! And here we have my bbg, my fav pre made, Lilith Pleasent, fresh outta collage from Sim State University, with a degree in Economics. Coral Oldie payed for Lilith to go, and it was so cute because Lilith everyday would roll the want to call Coral.

Why did Lilith decide to move to Downtown though you may ask? Well, Lilith LOVES music, Especially when she goes to the Crypt O Nightclub she ALWAYS rolls the want to work as a DJ. So, during her teenage and collage years, she would work as a DJ after her work. In collage on the side she would paint a lot. Basically, she worked her butt off and she is now in the music career!

Anyways enough rambling! This Modern Townhouse has 2 bathrooms, 2 (or three if you count the top floor) bedrooms, an office and an open floor plan on the first floor.

Uberhood (63) - Bubbler & Ruben - Beare

Fresh out of college Ty Bubbler is enjoying his life as an adult. He rented an apartment Downtown and is working as a Drive Through Clerk in the culinary career. Right now he's busy working on his reputation to become the "Don Lothario of Downtown" Good for him, I guess. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Ty met Hannah Bell at the local café. He wants to get to know her better.. well good luck Ty. Everybody around Uberhood knows (or should know) that Hannah Bell is trouble. We'll see how this unfolds.

In the apartment above, Joshua Ruben & Kevin Beare are living in a flatshare. While Joshua is busy meeting with old college flames..

Poor Kevin has to do the cooking and cleaning. He also recently got demoted from his job as a Fast Food Shift Manager. He now has the same job as his neighbor from downstairs, Ty Bubbler.

And if that were not bad enough, he was home alone when a burglar decided to break in to their apartment. 😂

Although Kevin was fast enough to notify the police, the burglar was able to escape after a turbulent pursuit down the stairs. It was very entertaining to watch ngl. 😂

LuLu Lounge Maxis Remodel

Inspired by Studio Town’s very own 82 Sunrise Boulevard (aka Fairchild Film Studios), I bring you my latest Maxis Remodel...LuLu Lounge! I first teased this back in September but I never quite happy with the interior (it is a huge footprint) so I kept trying different ideas and tweaking things. Nonetheless, I finally have declared it “done” and ready to share!

As usual, I did make some architectural changes. The whole building has been extended by one tile, mainly so I could dress up the entrance with two-story doors and a new marquee. The original description said LuLu Lounge offers velvet couches and ambient music, but as I leaned into the Studio Town aesthetic, I wanted something more “old Hollywood.” That meant lots of wood and a little art nouveau styling. The second floor is accessible but largely decorative, but there is a small office above the bathrooms if you want to run it as a business. Everything has been tested in a copy. The uploaded file has never been played. 

There is some CC included in the file, which is outlined below. Because this makeover was inspired by Studio Town, downloading the 1t2 conversions is vital to the lot appearing as shown. Please note that Argon’s seasonal topiares are bundled, so you’ll be getting the set of 5 (Egg, Skyscraper, Pyramid, Llama, and Dolphin). Thank you to the CC creators!

Downtown EP0 | Hood Set Up: Playable Townies, Recessive Genes, Family Ties, Broken Face Fix | Sims 2

Downtown has been on my mind lately, and rather than keeping my set up process to myself, I thought I could bring you along for the ride. This is basically the same set up that I did before starting to play Pleasantview, so it can be treated as a "behind the scenes" to that series. But if you want me to add in a let's play of Downtown, let me know, I'd be happy to!

Oresha Family Dining - "makeover"

"Food is just fuel, but when you’re sharing it with friends and family, it becomes something fun. So, bring your friends and family to fill up with food and fun at Oresha Family Dining."

Little old factory turned into bingo house with some fancy dining and a stage for different kind of happenings~ . Will spawn two waitresses.

This is a 2 click foundation lot!! So if you want your large dogs to be able to use the house you need Simler90’s Stair Modular Pets Fix. Also if you want to change the stairs in the fondation level you need to use moveobjects to place them.

(I think I went really overboard with this downtown makeover. I liked the nurshing home + bingo house vibe the og lot had, yet none of those survied in the end. This lot was pain in the ass, because I kept making stypid mistakes and argggg��� Anyway, happy to finally get this off my hands…)

Currently working on my Downtown. Got inspired by @cora626 's downtown, and asked them about which lots they used in their hood, and they helpfully gave all the links :>

I watched a youtube video called, "Sims 2 Lore Deep Dive: The Tricou Family" by AnnaChibi2. And they mentioned that the Tricou Family is based from the Tricou House from New Orleans. So, my downtown is based on New Orleans (in a smaller scale but changed to fit in the hood's layout).

I used a lot of @andrevasims, @plumbtales and @cora626 builds since it's all so pretty!

It's still a work in progress, but this is the oldest part of the downtown area, called "Six Arbres" (Six Trees).

Gonna add more dead trees since it's the "House of Fallen Trees" and not "House of Aliven Trees"

Crimbus Village: Tis the season for all seasons! You are guaranteed a holly jolly time no matter what time of year it is! With a little bit of everything, even the most finicky of Sims will find something to like.

Redecorated @katatty's The Corner Shoppes with all of the Christmas/holiday/red and green CC I had lol. Can't wait to play with it in live mode at night in the actual winter time.

I decided that I couldn't have Mrs. Crumplebottom all on her lonesome, so I made her a family! She didn't really seem like the type to adopt, and I wanted to have her something to do besides putter around her big house alone, so she'll be raising her granddaughter! Her mother was randomized from Mrs. Crumplebottom and her husband, so she has the Crumplebottom genes. I used the daughter and I made a random sim to create the daughter. I think they all look sooo cute!

Happier days on the Crumplebottom Estate. Agatha Crumplebottom with her husband, Richard, an esteemed businessman who is as curmudgeonly as his wife, and holds similar Victorian views on morality. And yet these two upstanding citizens gave birth to a daughter, Lorraine: a ne'er do well who is the complete opposite of her uptight parents. They might be frigid and cold; she is saucy and vivacious, and has spent her adult years jetsetting and living the life of a Socialite. Lorraine has one daughter, Eloise: born out of her very short marriage to renowned Champs Les Sims DJ Björn van Björn, better known as BVB... for those in the know. Björn van Björn has had a limited relationship with his daughter. While Lorraine is not the mothering type. Just as her own mother handed her off to nannies to focus on her own social life, Lorraine did the same thing.

Shortly after this touching family reunion, Richard passed away in a freak accident that involved his beloved luxury yacht Crumplebottom and the grand piano in the Mabre foyer. Lorraine died several months after as well, in a Discothèque fire in Champs Les Sims; her final words were recorded to be: "Wait, these aren't special effects?!"

With her mother gone, and Björn van Björn more concerned with his upcoming Witch House album, Eloise has been sent to live with her grandmother, who has taken custody of her. She'll be living at the Crumplebottom Estate in Downtown.

Will Agatha be able to get her granddaughter settled and put her on the right path? Or is she doomed to repeat the mistakes she made with her daughter? And what of Eloise? New town, new school... will she prosper under her grandmother's tutelage? Or is she doomed to fizzle out?
