An (Over)analysis into Magic, Ghosts and Technology in Geth, part 1.

I should probably start of with a warning that I discuss spoilers for Bone 2 Pick, Spell Check, Wedded Redemption, Baking Bad, the Orbocalypse Saga, Legacy of Dragons and Oxventure Presents Blades in the Dark. If you have not seen all of these episodes and want to avoid spoilers, please don’t read any further.

Right, now the spoiler warning is out of the way, I am going to try my best to explain my thoughts as succinctly as possible. Though considering I’ve spent the last three months going full Pepe Silvia on Oxventure Lore that might be hard. 😂 And yeah, I’m probably going to be the only person interested in this but ah well if I can promote any discussion on this I’ll be absolutely delighted 😅

So, in Baking Bad, the Oxventurers were tasked with infiltrating a mechanical city owned by Lizardfolk in order to rescue some pastry chefs and in the process released a very primordial being of fire called Imix.

A few weeks later, Johnny described Mistmire as being a ‘mechanical marvel of a city’ (Mean Gulls 1:10:50). This along with the fact that the Lizardfolk city and Mistmire were both described as being Tiered Citadels made me wonder what the heck was powering Mistmire. That question would be answered a week later in Mist Opportunities when it turns out that it was being powered by a gold dragon. However, noticing that coincidence made me realise some more information that might potentially be important down the line.

Going back to Baking Bad the Lizardfolk city drew power for Imix by plugging it into a machine which was extracting energy from. During this process, Imix was also trapped in some sort of orb like thing that it could not break out of on its own. This reminded me a little of the Osillatronic energy utilised by Volisport during Blades in the Dark.

So, my question then became did the Brighteners look at all these Mechanical Marvels being powered by Demons/Gold Dragons and go ‘We like this idea but Demons and Dragons are hard to come by and very difficult to control. Ghosts on the other hand…” and built the Barricade as a result?

To answer that question, we need to consider how did the Brighteners gain the knowledge to create the Barricade? Was it reverse engineered from studying necromancy and seeing how the undead could be prevented from moving onto the afterlife and then applied that on a grander scale? Did they learn it from a Demon/Eldritch being?

I personally think that it’s the former for two main reasons. Firstly, there is evidence that a Brightener, or at least an ancestor of a Brightner, has utilised arcane artefacts to power technology. In the Orbocalypse Saga, we discover than an Astor is in charge of the prison known as Alcatraz, the mechanisms of which are powered by one of the orb shards. As this Orb was used to contain Vocatus, this shows that it was also powered by Demonic Energy which ties into the idea that the Brighteners were influenced by Demonic energy being used to power constructs such as Alcataz when it came to building the barricade.

Secondly, I want to discuss Spell Check. In this episode Liliana had the means to inhibit the Oxventurer’s ability to use magic by enchanting her prison with runes that siphoned magic out of magic casters and into pipes that took it to a massive vat of magic. Is that what the Barricade is kinda doing on a massive scale? Siphoning magic from the world as a whole to power the device that lets ghosts in.

However, using magic to power technology might be inefficient as the prisoners in Liliana’s prison tended to last a month before dying and turning into Husks (based on the Dwarf’s guild). Furthermore, not everyone has a magical aptitude so you only have a limited amount of people who could be used as an energy source and they would not last forever. However, everyone dies eventually so ghosts is a much, much more sustainable energy source.

Furthermore, there is evidence that magic and spectral energy are similar. In Bone 2 Pick, when the Oxventurers were performing the ritual to summon Ethilfreth, Prudence casts Detect Magic on the Builder’s Ghost. When she does so, Ethilfreth lights up in the same way that magic does. This therefore suggests that ghosts in some way are either made up of magic, or are made up of a substance that is similar to magic. After all, if energy cannot be created or destroyed, only changed, then the magical energy that mortals have is transmutated into whatever energy ghosts are formed from. This could also explain how the Brighteners managed to work out that ghosts could be used as an energy source because if ghosts and magic are the same thing or similar, then ghosts should be a potential replacement source.

So, my thinking is that, Astor was inspired by Alcatraz’s design/mechanisms and, needing an energy source after the Oxventurers removed the orb shard from the mechanism, did some research into finding another energy source. Somehow in the process recruited the rest of the Brightners and managed to find a way of tweaking the mechanisms so that ghosts could be used instead. Then, created the barricade to cause all the ghosts to be unable to move on and thus power all of the other devices. However, this in turn siphoned magic out of the world, and this magic was used to further power the barricade.

Furthermore, this is supported by Sphere We Go. 21 minutes into the episode Johnny describes the Astor family as having a “casual disregard for magic” long before it was revealed that the Astor family were Brighteners and that the Barricade was the reason magic had been siphoned out of Geth. Therefore, the Astor family’s disregard of magic could have also inspired them to create the Barricade as getting rid of magic would have been a bonus on top of creating a ‘replacement energy source’ to replace magic and Demons.

One flaw with this hypothesis is that we don’t actually get a description of how the Barricade is powered. Towards the end of To the Depths, Edvard and Barnaby find the schematics for the Barricade which is described as being an Octagonal Ring that is roughly 7 stories high and is described as a ‘shocking piece of engineering’. Later on, when they go there they enter a vast cavern, and see an immense ring against a huge wall in the cavern. It was glowing intensely and had blades that were spinning very loudly.

However apart from a control panel with one large wooden leaver there isn’t any descriptions for how the mechanisms actually function, and no descriptions of any glowing runes. Perhaps the technology used to power the Barricade is different from the one Liliana utilised in Spell Check. Or perhaps the Brighteners refined it. That I do not have a definitive answer for. Hopefully we will get some answers soon.

Furthermore, we also have the question of how the other Brighteners got involved. We, for example encountered the Fortescue family during Wedded Redemption and, when Aubrey was spoon feeding Lord Fortescue bisque, Lord Fortescue said “I had an idea for the most fantastic invention” (47:10). Are the Fortescues well known inventors? Perhaps, though it’s more likely that they were hereditarily wealthy, and thus could bank roll the whole project into creating the Barricade.

What does this mean going forward for the Oxventurers? I honestly have no idea, except I’m probably not going to trust any random Artificer in Geth. They could be working on the Barricade after all.

However, one thing I do know is that we still have other members of the Brighteners not accounted for. Will we encounter an ancestor of Lord Stangford, and learn how they were involved in the creation of the Barricade? And how did the organisation that eventually became the Deathwardens develop? Who was responsible for the initial research into ghosts and how creating the hole in the fabric of reality in Geth would prevent the dead from moving on?

Tell me all about that there Ninjago Connected Universe! Is it a crossover of sorts of all your aus + show & movie?

hehe, no, it's something way bigger than you think. It's my own version of the "pepe silvia" meme. This whole idea is very WIP, but rn, I am gonna consider it canon to ANS, until I can develop it more. Also, if you don't know much about other Lego themes, this'll probably be rlly confusing, sorry.

This will take a fuckton of explanation, so it's all going under the cut :)

Bascially, the idea goes as follows; A good portion of Lego themes take place in the same universe, including Ninjago. You COULD say it's insane because Ninjago doesn't even slightly address any other themes, outside of minor references.

But, the thing is the inclusion of Tox and Mr. Pale all but confirms the existence of the Ultra Agents universe in Ninjago, which includes Astor City.

If Ultra Agents exists in this world, so does Solomon Blaze, the guy who leads the Ultra Agents, and was a member of the Galaxy Squad before then. (Galaxy Squad is abt humans and robots fighting insectoid aliens).

If the Galaxy Squad exists here, so do Monster Fighters (a theme ab humans entering the monster realm to stop a vampire king from uniting six artifacts called Moonstones), because the same race of insectoid aliens are said to have been drawn to the convergence of the Moonstones (from an old magazine), and are alerted to Earth's existence.

This means that Monster Fighters is before Galaxy Squad, and Ultra Agents is after both those themes, and some time during or before Ninjago (as Tox and Mr. Pale aren't criminals in the show). AGAIN, this is a crazy theory, but then again it's my ideas and y'all I'm STILL not done.

Clutch Powers exists, which means Power Miners and Lego City also exist in this world. Because of this, theoretically, Lego City Undercover and Lego City Adventures could be canon to Ninjago.

BUT WAIT, there's even MORE. Jake Raines, the protagonist of "Pharaoh's Quest", has a particular eagle pin on his jacket, the same one that Twitchy Tim has! AND they also share the same pin of a circle with what looks like the front of a light aircraft!!!

This is gonna sound so weird, but then, amidst all this connection, there's Atlantis, Aqua Raiders, and Alien Conquest. According to some other magazines, apparently, an alien warlord helped build the pyramid in Pharaoh's Quest, and when that went south, he aimed to try get the help of the Golden King from Atlantis. In one Atlantis set, there's the skeleton of an Aqua Raiders Diver.

Now, I'm not saying you could squeeze Aqua Raiders and Atlantis in and just say the creatures they deal with are all from Merlopia, BUT ALSO, you could totally do that.

I know this is a huge brain mess but I swear, it'll all make sense! I'll probably just make a lore doc for all this tbh, because this is a LOT.

Now, as for how all this would fit with Ninjago, that's easy. I'd like to think there's a large circle of islands far beyond Ninjago, which are all so close together that most explorers of olden times assumed there was nothing beyond. But the rest? Those presumed lost at sea, dead, or stranded, discovered that far beyond the circle lays several larger landmasses, all with traces of... something. The explorers who DID find these larger landmasses, with remnants of ancient civilizations, went on to populate and build upon these fallen lands. These lands were probably discovered a few hundred years after the Stone Wars, so who knows who or what could have lived there eons ago?

TL;DR: Ninjago, Monster Fighters, Alien Conquest, Pharaoh's Quest, Ultra Agents, Lego City, Clutch Powers (movie), Power Miners, Atlantis, Aqua Raiders, and a fuckton of other themes, and Lego worlds could exist in one continuous world...

Favorite programs 2019/2020 season - Men’s SP

In general, quite a nice year for programs.

7 - Vincent Zhou - I Will Wait for You (vid from US Classic, mostly because I couldn’t find one from USNats on Youtube)

Gets on the list mostly because I really, really like Mumford and Sons. Also I liked how he performed it. Granted he skated it twice in comps this season: US Classic and US Nats, but it was always heartfelt and sincere. There was a sort of openess to it. I’ve watched the 2018 Worlds stream the other day, and in comparison to two years ago, Vincent has made great improvments to his skating. 

6 - Matteo Rizzo - Start A Fire, choreo by Shae-Lynn Bourne (vid from Shanghai Trophy, clean SP, great performance and the mustard turtleneck)

I’ll be forever mourning the mustard turtleneck. Best costume of the season hands down (and I’m only half-joking). Again not an avant-garde or conceptual program or anything, just guy dancing it out on the ice. I like how free Matteo looks in his moves here.

5 - Tomoki Hiwatashi - Love Runs Out, choreo by Mark Pillay (vid from 4CC)

Full of energy. Entertaining. Not the most original thing there is but the step sequence is everything. And also consider: a cantilever, an Ina Bauer, russian splits and a flying high kick. Kid has great skating skills, is a decent performer, and takes the time to develop artistically with inventive programs and great transitions. What’s not to love? 

4 - Junhwan Cha - Astor Piazolla medley, choreo by David Wilson (vid from 4CC. This vis a a bit shaky but i like that it’s not filmed up-close, it really helps you see how effective and elegant is Jun’s carriage on the ice)

That is a good tango program! And Jun has the lines and the attitude to pull this off. Even where the jumps were not there, that program held him up, and the choreo helped him create a striking, elegant picture on the ice. That type of skating just suits him really well, and I’d be happy if he were to recycle that SP at some point. I believe he could polish it to perfection. Also that costume. I love me some black lace with red.  

3 - Yuzuru Hanyu - Otonal, choreo by Jeffrey Buttle (vid from NHK)

I agree with the person who called Otonal “the discount-Chopin”. Still great tho. I live for that delayed single axel in the step sequence. 

2 - Kevin Aymoz - The Question of U, choreo by Silvia Fontana (vid from GPF)

I do think Horns were funnier, but again, The Question of U is a gem, and I’m just so happy Kevin is here to push the boundaries and give us wonderfully crafted programs. He’s probably not the the first skater to do sommersaults on the ice, but I do think he’s making them popular. Teammate Adam Siao Him Fa has included some in his programs. Check out his FS at Junior Worlds. Anyway by the end of this Olympic cycle, I think Kevin’s programs will be definitely make the best programs list

1 - Kazuki Tomono - The Hardest Button to Button, choreo by Philip Mills (vid from Skate America: cleanish skate, and imo his best performance. That sheer joy and triumph during the step sequence is something to watch)

Honestly? The best SP of the season hands down! Best music choice. Really out of the box. And the choreo is just... It’s a bit of Wayne McGregor on ice! It’s inventive, it’s cohesive, it’s unique, it’s suprising. It’s unlike anything we’ve seen on the ice for a long time. Just a masterpiece.

It’s been a...minute? since I posted, heh. I’m not really “good” with grieving and I didn’t know if I should post so soon given what has happened so I kinda held off on posting just to give everyone some space. It still feels a bit awkward coming back so soon but I hope you all will forgive me. This is just kinda how I move on? I don’t know, I’m weird I guess.

Also, how do y’all feel about period sex? Because the next couple of parts depend on y’all with this. I don’t want to make anyone uncomfortable on my first fic on here so I’m asking now just to see where your mind is at.

According to Miss Kudrow, the Gathering had gone off “without a hitch”. Your little confrontation with Silvia didn’t hinder your position and, if anything, aided to your status as an up and coming leader. You’d made a good impression on a few Queens other than Astor and Sonaelina and the former two had invited you over to their homes if you ever wanted to get away.

There was just one problem.

You’d unknowingly let Shownu feed from you. You weren’t sure what the rule set was for this sort of role reversal, but it caused quite a ruckus amongst your Mates.

Being the first to be taken into your Clan, Minhyuk was a bit envious; wanting your attention constantly, even when you were preoccupied.

“I’m just asking why he gets to feed from you and I don’t.” Minhyuk pouted from behind the locked door.

“I swear on all things that are holy, if you don’t let me piss in peace, you won’t be able to complain!” You threatened from your porcelain throne.

For a beat, it was quiet and that led you to believe he was gone until, “Does this mean I’ll get a taste?”

“MINHYUK!” You yelled, hearing footsteps scurrying away.

You truly didn’t know what you were doing with Shownu at the time. When Silvia had touched him in front of you, your mind had gone blank and you wanted to show him he was yours, damnit. Call it whatever you may, but you’d let him take a few licks and now the whole house dynamic was all sorts of messed up.

The only solace you had was from one of the younger ones; Jooheon. He’d stay by your side and wouldn’t ask or pout at you. He’d just simply follow you around. You would think it would get annoying, but with him around constantly glaring at the boys who tried to approach you and ask for a taste kind of comforted you. You didn’t know if he was simply trying to get on your good side, but his behavior didn’t go unnoticed by you.

“As you see, you have a long list of potential nesting sites. None of them have actually been built yet but these are rough sketches for you to choose from, should you want to leave this house.” Kudrow had blueprints upon blueprints laid out for you. Houses that you would have never dreamed of were within your grasp all because of your supposed lineage.

You were slowly starting to come into your role as a Queen and the bank accounts that had almost made you pass out, were something you were starting to take in stride. It was...nice to not have to worry about bills and such, but it still made you a bit uncomfortable to spend so much of your family’s money.

You’d narrowed your search down to a few homes and Miss Kudrow had asked you all the questions under the sun. Including, how big do you want your bed, bathtub, etc. and what you wanted in certain rooms that made you blush.

Apparently, Royals had nests where they settled down and made their families. This is also where all the Clan Mates stayed as well as servants who were sworn to protect your name. It was a bit daunting to think about, but you were taking things one day at a time.

“So we’ve established the people currently living and their arrangements. What do you want for the kids’ rooms?”

You nearly choked hearing Miss Kudrow’s words. They were harmless, but you weren’t thinking of kids. Not now when you’ve just been thrown into an entirely new world.

“Kids?!” You shrieked, standing up to pace the room.

“Well, of course. How else would you continue your lineage? Have you decided which of your Mates will father the children? Or if you’ll have more than one father for several?” She kept going, not really paying attention to your panicked state. “Oh, just think of a nice house with several little ones running around! It would be so wonderful to see your reign continuing on and—are you alright?” She cut herself off, finally seeing you.

The moment you thought of running away and living in the woods the rest of your life, Jooheon came running in. He approached you slowly while giving Miss Kudrow a glare that could kill and then focused entirely on you. He gently grabbed you and pulled you into his chest, holding one hand behind your head and the other around your waist to try and somehow protect you.

“You’re alright.” He cooed, kissing the side of your head and just holding you.

“I’m not ready for kids, Jooheon.” You mumbled against his chest.

“That’s okay. We don’t have to even think about kids right now. We can just enjoy each other’s company. We’re here for you and we’re not going to make you do anything you’re uncomfortable with.” He reassured, pulling away to look you in the eyes.

You nodded nimbly, somewhat comforted.

A throat clearing brought your attention to a weary Changkyun, trying his best not to look you in the eye.

“You have a visitor, My Lady.” He nervously shook his hair with his hand and not a few seconds later, there was a gentle knocking on the front door.

All at once, your Clan Mates joined you. Jooheon had already had a place at your side and was holding your hand, Minhyuk took your other side but let you have some space, Shownu stood in front with Wonho and Changkyun remained at the doorway.

Miss Kudrow had gone to see who it was before returning with a hesitant look.

“It’s Yoo Kihyun. Chae Hyungwon’s Clan Mate.” She announced.

Chaos erupted amongst your Mates.

“He’s not coming in.”

“Don’t trust him.”

“We can take him on.”

They were all on high alert and it worries you a bit to see them so wound up over one person.

“Who is he?” You asked, taking a glance towards the hallway where the front door was.

“He’s Hyungwon’s Queen killer.” Jooheon explained, gritting his teeth.

“Kihyun is with King, Hyungwon. He just so happens to be his Alpha, or right hand man. Anything Hyungwon won’t or can’t do himself, falls on Kihyun. This usually means killing Royals or using them for his benefit.” Changkyun rephrased.

You had read all the documents Miss Kudrow had given you, but this was nowhere in any of them. Had you have known about this, Hyungwon would not be on the top of your potential ally list.

“They’re baseless rumors, but it’s troublesome nonetheless. Royals gossip, but they never spread word of murder; their ranks are too underpopulated to even joke about killing one another. Do you want me to send him away, Your Grace?” Miss Kudrow softly asked, fully prepared to tell Kihyun where he could go.

You didn’t want someone so dangerous around your Clan, but you didn’t want to send him away and not hear what he has to say either. Were you prepared to face on someone as Kihyun? He had made quite a ripple effect on your Clan and you’d be a fool to go against him so blindly but you wanted to know more about this; more about them.

“Let him in.” You told her bravely. Miss Kudrow nodded and left the room. You could hear the front door open and closing and heard another heavier set of footsteps following behind Miss Kudrow’s dainty ones.

You made your way to the living room and sat on an oversized couch, your men taking their respective places. Shownu sat in between your legs in front of you on the floor, Jooheon to your right while Minhyuk on your left, and Wonho leaned against the wall nearest the couch as Changkyun took the opposite end of the room.

Though they didn’t show it, you could tell your decision had put your Clan on edge. They’d kill for you and die for you, but that would mean leaving you alone to face whatever Hyungwon had in mind for you.

When Kihyun had finally approached your group, you wanted to gasp. His hair was a short, dark brown with lighter brown highlights that framed his sharp features perfectly. He sported a kind smile but you could tell he had a darker being inside him. He wore a black long sleeve, dark dress pants, and dark brown boots and he strode in with a careful confidence that made you want to hide and fight all at once.

“Your Highness,” he nodded at you. “It’s a pleasure to finally meet you.”

You gave him a slight nod and waited for his next words, opting not to speak to him just yet since he was the one who sought you out in your home.

His smile slightly widened and he looked around at your Clan Mates, meeting each of their eyes. “You’ve already grown quite a Clan, I see.” He said in an impressed tone.

“What do you want, Kihyun?” You demanded, not wanting him to beat around the bush.

He nodded to himself before continuing on. “My King would like to request your presence in a private dinner with him two nights from now.”

You could feel Shownu and Minhyuk tense up around you while Jooheon gripped your hand a bit tighter.

“And why would I do that? Your King had his chance to meet me at the Gathering like all the other Royals, why does he want a private meeting now?” You challenged, and almost wished you didn’t.

His gentle smile turned into a sinister smirk and back so fast you almost got whiplash. “You were a bit...occupied when he was finally about to meet you.”

You could feel he was trying to embarrass you. He knew you were new to this and sharing your affections with your Clan so openly should have made you ashamed but you honestly didn’t care. You wouldn’t give him the satisfaction.

“So what you’re saying is, he had the opportunity to meet me, but he backed down. That sounds more like a problem for him rather than me. Don’t you think?” You smirked back, causing his smile to loosen a smidge. But that was all your confidence needed.

“It seems so, Your Grace.” He replied.

“Since you came looking for me, I’ll meet with your King. But on my terms. That’s only fair, right?”

“I will give him the excellent news, Your Grace.” He bowed slightly and made his way for the door. Miss Kudrow followed behind him and softly closed the door behind him, letting out a deep sigh of relief that everyone else also let out.

“Are you alright, My Queen?” Minhyuk asked, taking your other free hand and pecking the back of it in comfort.

“Tell me everything about Kihyun and Hyungwon. If Hyungwon is anything like Kihyun, I want to be prepared to face him as well.” You stated, tightening your grip on Jooheon and Minhyuk ever so slightly before dropping their hands and getting yourself mentally ready for another Royals lesson.

“She’ll meet with you.” His Alpha greeted from his cell. “But on her terms.”

Hyungwon chuckled and shook his head, as if he had heard an old joke. “Of course, as expected of an intellectual Queen. I’ll let our Guardians set it up.” He waved off.

“Her numbers have grown tremendously.” Kihyun told him, waltzing straight for the blacked out car awaiting him in front of your home.

“And they’re about to get more significant.” He chuckled before hanging up.

Kihyun took one last look at your home and smiled softly before entering the car and driving away.

Dani Garber se fue de su casa: abandona su rutina, su familia, el club y a sus amigos para encerrarse en una pensión de Constitución. Se arma un canal de youtube: Carne de chancho. Carne de chancho, es un musical que indaga sobre la identidad, la pregunta por el deseo y por cómo queremos vivir esta vida, que es una.

   Propuesta artística desarrollada por el Director:

 Una puesta musical. Una pensión de Constitución. La virtualidad se constituye como elemento generador del lenguaje, la poética y singularidad de la obra. Así, este viejo ambiente de la casa del actor, ahora se reforma para ser el cuarto de un viejo hotel.

El registro de la actuación es realista, con elementos de ruptura: canciones que vienen a romper con el relato.

Encuentros por zoom que vienen a rescatar el deseo, que vienen a unir lo que la pandemia rompió, la cercaní­a de los cuerpos. Un encuentro sin contacto, pero un encuentro al fin.

 Puesta en escena:

 Una cámara de celular… streaming… “la nueva normalidad”... una pandemia.

Carne de Chancho se constituye como un experimento, una novedad, donde un texto que fue pensado para montarse en una sala de teatro, a la italiana, termina siendo una experiencia de actuación vía streaming. Cómo romper la bidimensionalidad que propone el teatro filmado, es el mayor desafío. Entonces el relato de puesta en escena es una gran coreografía de cámara, en un espacio reducido. El relato se divide en “capítulos” que delimitan espacios físicos en un pequeño ambiente. Se aprovecha cada rincón.

Canciones reproducidas desde un parlante, con sus coreografías son parte de la poética heredada de lo que antes hacíamos. También un actor vivenciando un texto. Lo nuevo: una cámara que es un intérprete más. La sensación es que está a cuatro cámaras. Pero solo hay una.

Lo artístico está condicionado por las nuevas reglas de producción: El actor se tiene que generar el propio dispositivo escenográfico- de vestuario - de utilería. Se asiste técnicamente pero además tiene que desplegar su actuación. Y lo hace.

El personaje se transmite en un canal de youtube. Le habla a su gente. Y eso sí, la señal de internet puede pixelar la imagen, pero Luis de Almeida jugará con ello.

  Sebastián Kirszner. Como actor, se formó con Ricardo Bartis, Guillermo Cacace, en Río Plateado, escuela dirigida por Hugo Midon (Allí con Silvia Kanter, Roxana Berco, entre otros docentes). Estudió dramaturgia con Ricardo Halac (Argentores) y Mauricio Kartun. Estudió dirección de actores con Guillermo Cacace.

Su primer espectáculo fue en el 2008, “El Mate” (Teatro La Comedia). La obra contó con música original de Carlos Gianni. “El Mate” fue nominado a los premios ACE 2008 en la terna “Mejor Infantil” y fue ganadora del Premio ATINA a la Música Original del mismo año.

Estrenó como dramaturgo "La Estación Intermedia" (2009); "Oíd Mortales, el agua sagrado" (2009), para el festival de Dramaturgia Emergente;

"La Beca" (2010) fue el primer espectáculo que además dirigió;

"El Casting" (2011) salió publicada en la antología de textos de Elsa Drucaroff: "Narrativas Emergentes Interzona", y fue publicado en el exterior para la editorial Theatralize de Alemania, traducida por Katherina Moring.

“Las Memorias de Blanch” (2012), fue publicada en “OFF! novísima dramaturgia Argentina”, compilación de Ricardo Dubatti.

Además dirigió “Azulejos Amarillos”, de Ricardo Dubatti (2013).

También llevó a la cartelera "Rats, casi un musical"(2014), con la cual participó del II Festival de Novísima Dramaturgia y ganó el premio Florencio Sanchez en la terna “mejor musical argentino”.

Estrenó “El Ciclo Mendelbaum” (2015), y se llevó 9 premios Teatro del Mundo (entre ellos Dirección y Dramaturgia), y ganó el premio Florencio Sanchez (mejor musical argentino).

También estrenó “La shikse” (2016) (Premio Teatro del mundo dramaturgia, actriz y fotografía), y “La mishiguene de la carpa 4” (2018). Recientemente estrenó “Goy, el musical” (2018).

En el 2019 estrena "Había una vez una bruja..." (Coautoría y dirección).

Dirige (La Pausa) Teatral.

Luis De Almeida. Inicia sus estudios de actuación en la EMAD, Escuela Metropolitana de Arte Dramático con docentes como Marta Serrano, Eduardo Gondell, Ciro Zorzoli, Paco Redondo, Roberto Perinelli, entre otros. Subió a los escenarios con los directores:Roberto Villanueva, Marina Wainer, Martín Vaamonde, Guillermo Aragonés, Claudia Carbonell, José María Muscari y Nelson Valente, entre otros. Viviendo en Madrid estrenó Margaritas a los Puercos, unipersonal dirigido x Fernanda Orazi, De Velorios y verbenas y Monstruos, ambos dirigido por Marina Wainer. Desde el Hueco, por el que recibió premio mejor actor en el Festival de Reinosa y mejor obra en Festival teatro independiente Zaragoza, España. Dirigió Arrabaleras, Test, El fruto al árbol el pez al río y la paz al mundo, y Motu Proprio, premio mejor obra festival de teatro Roquetas de Mar, España. Participó como actor de las series españolas Sexo En Chueca Y Herederos. De regreso a Buenos Aires filmó Stolen Tango y series como La Viuda De Rafael, Sandro La serie y Cuéntame cómo pasó. Trabaja bajo la dirección de Maruja Bustamante en Adela está cazando patos. Actuó en El Ciclo Mendelbaum y protagoniza GOY, el musical, ambas de Sebastián Kirszner. Escribe y dirige Choriplanera y dirige a Eugenia Guerty en Sombras, para Idénticos, en el ciclo Teatro por la identidad. Trabaja en El Casamiento de Witold Gombrowicz en el complejo teatral de Buenos Aires (teatro San Martín) bajo la dirección del polaco Michal Znaniecki. Actúa en LOS HILOS DE ARIADNA en el Festival Opera Tigre 2018. Escribe, dirige y actúa en varias piezas de Microteatro Buenos Aires durante todo el 2019

  Pamela Sleiman. Comenzó sus estudios de música a los 8 años con el piano, estudiando de forma particular. A los 18 ingresa al Conservatorio de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires Astor Piazzolla, finalizando el Trayecto Artístico Profesional de Piano. A los 20 comienza sus estudios de Clarinete, entre sus maestros se destacan Gabriel Blasberg, Mariano Rey, Amalia Del Giudice y Marcelo Moguilevsky. Se egresa en el año 2006 con el título de Profesora de Música con Especialidad en Clarinete. Por otro lado realizó estudios de Saxo y música popular en la Escuela de Música Popular de Avellaneda con Gustavo Hunt. Desde el año 2006 es el Primer Clarinete de La Banda Municipal de La Matanza. En el año 2015 ingresa a La Orquesta de Música Popular de la UBA como Primer Clarinete y con la cual acompaño a artistas como David Lebon , Jairo, Verónica Condomi y Ramón Ayala, entre otros. Es integrante de varios proyectos independientes de Música Popular como Sabalaje Ensamble, conjunto de música contemporánea de raíz folklórica con el cual grabo dos discos. También grabo en el disco Por Segundo de Matías Paz.Desde el 2018 integra con el Clarinete Bajo La Empoderada Orquesta Atípica, un grupo de 22 músicas que realizan composiciones de Tango de mujeres actuales con temáticas de género buscando integrar la música , la poesía y lo visual. Realizaron conciertos en el Teatro ND, la Sala Sinfónica del CCK y también en la reapertura de Tecnópolis en marzo 2020.En el año 2016 participa de la “Opera Mozart en Moscú vía Buenos Aires”  estrenada en el Teatro 25 de Mayo con Música de Sergio Ratti y con Francisco Lummerman como protagonista. En el año 2019 integra el Elenco de músicos de la obra “Mucho Ruido y Pocas Nueces” en el Teatro La Comedia, con Dirección de Jorge Azurmendi y música de Rony Kesselmann, nominada para los premios ACE 2019 como mejor Comedia.

Fabiana Maler. Comenzó como bailarina para luego dedicarse a la docencia y a la creación de puestas coreográficas.

Con formación no sólo en danza contemporánea sino también en danzas folklóricas de Europa Oriental de las cuales siguió investigando y enseñando hasta la actualidad dando seminarios en el país y en el exterior (Venezuela, Brasil, Uruguay). Dedicada desde hace años a la docencia, especializada en el trabajo con jóvenes y adultos, sus clases son una fusión de diferentes técnicas (contemporáneas, jazz, folk, ashtanga). La inclusión del teatro y el trabajo de la voz en su formación le permitieron desempeñarse en el ámbito teatral convocada para dar entrenamiento actoral y corporal para actores y cantantes, y trabajar en la dirección y puesta en escena. Creadora de intervenciones urbanas - flashmobs- para campañas publicitarias y ONG. Actualmente da clases en el estudio Dan-Zas de Paula Shapiro, Yako dance, en la U.N.A. (Universidad Nacional de las Artes), dicta talleres de coreografía de danza fusión para AMIA. Joven y realiza puestas para teatro y músicos. Dirige el elenco coreográfico Sheva, mujeres danzan mundos. Trabaja en colaboración como performer con la artista visual Mariela Gargano quien expuso y obtuvo premios por las obras realizadas en conjunto.

 Jimena Morrone.Es actriz y docente. Nació en Buenos Aires en 1975. Estudió en el Conservatorio Nacional de Arte Dramático (UNA), con Román Podolsky. Clown con Hernán Gene y talleres de danza-contac, butho y entrenamiento en técnica Graham. En el año 2000 se traslada a vivir a España. Como actriz participa en las siguiente obras: “ZAP” Y “Cabaret para Marujas” con la Cia. Machincuepas, “Frida Kahlo: Pies para que los quiero sí tengo alas para volar” en el Festival 3D en Madrid. “La Decalogía de Copla” en festivales de GREC en Barcelona y Sabadell, “Por una manzana: siete historias cómico sexuales para cuatro pollas y dos coños”en Plaza Mayor de Toledo y Teatro Central de Málaga, “Insigne monja Jerónima”, “Susana San Juan, hija de un minero muerto sobre las minas de Andrómeda” en DT Espacio Escénico de Madrid.

Desde el 2005 se dedica a dar clases de Teatro para niños de 3 a 12 años y Adultos en Colegios Públicos, Privados y Concertados de la Comunidad de Madrid. En el 2018, regresa a Buenos Aires, su ciudad natal donde trabaja como productora ejecutiva y asistente de dirección en diferentes proyectos teatrales junto a directores como Lorena Romanin, Nelson Valente, Ernesto Claudio, Verónica Barr, Jorge Azurmendi y Sebastián Kirszner. Trabaja en la gestión, coordinación y organización de La Pausa Teatral y crea la Escuela de Teatro de LA PAUSA TEATRAL junto a Sebastián Kirszner.

 Pablo Lancone. Es periodista, productor y community manager con título de C.E.T.A.E. Trabaja en medios y prensa desde 2009. Hace 8 años creó la página www.escenariosnacionales.com.ar dedicada pura y exclusivamente a la difusión de teatro argentino. As a Halloween offering, Art in Odd Places presents Italian performance collective, AnimaeNoctis (Silvia Marcantoni Taddei & Massimo Sannelli) in HORRIFASCISM at three different Manhattan locations as a response to the 100th anniversary of Fascism. AnimaeNoctis says, “Sadly Fascism was an Italian invention on October 28, 1922 – spread across the world. Our performances are a series of apologies asking for forgiveness. What is more frightening than the hidden danger of (a) new Fascism(s)?”
