Okay Idk if this is just a me thing, but like, I fully associate half of the Sonic R vocal soundtrack with Silver

Songs like Back in Time, Diamond in the Sky especially cuz they both give me major Silaze 06 vibes.

And it fits with my: Silver listens to electronic /eurobeat music headcanon so it all checks out x33

Would love to see someone argue that all the songs in that ost relate to Silver (and that person will probs be me lol.... )

Čekam na peronu gdje se snovi mimoilaze, duše razilaze i sve tuge svijeta silaze na moja ledja. U sekundama samoće, ja brojim godine, iako nisam sam, svejedno boli me, svaku činjenicu koju znam zaboravim dok traje dan, ali po nesreći kada je mrkli mrak svaka ispliva i nadje svoj put u moj napaćeni um. Dijagnoza kaže da sam lud, godinama trud da oprostim sebi svako zlo, sve su ti ljestve kad si davno dodirnuo dno.

Budi me nekad realan scenarij, ko li piše sve te snove? Šejtan se igra, režira mi noćne more. Koga da zovem, ko može da me razumije? Ja propovjedam život, a svaki dan ponovo umirem. Odem, dodjem, otvaram i zatvaram vrata, vječna saga, bježim li od sreće ili bježim li od vraga? Svaki put me ponovo upoznaju, ostavljam u dušama gorak okus, podijeljena sam ličnost u svakom koga sam volio sam ostavio po jedan horkruks.

Nisam ja crn, nisam bijel, nisam siv, nemam boje, nemam mirisa, nemam okusa, nisam voda, nisam vatra, ja sam varijabla, nisam konstanta. Nisam prošlost, nisam budućnost, ja sam tu i sada.

'Silver x Blaze' (Silaze? Blilver?) fans are about to go coo-coo-bananas over the latest #Sonic Channel Fantasy Poll, which pits the time-travelling hero against Omochao to feature with Blaze.

We voted for Omochao just to piss everyone off. #SonicNews

If I'm to be entirely honest, I ship Ember with the near entirety of the of-age female cast, as well as most of the canonically masc hedgehogs (if I shoot them with a beam in my mind-).

My top five Blaze ships in general are:

Sonaze (which for Ember is really just Olympiaze-) and Blazamy. Those two are equally the top in my mind, I adore them both.

Silaze (no explanation needed).

Elise x Blaze (FLAME PRINCESSES).

Rouge x Blaze (hot woman who loves to fly & tease x girl who's scared of heights... this one might just be me being gay idk).

Surge x Blaze & Sally x Blaze (characters with zero canonical interactions with Blaze but I feel very strongly would be super compatible with her, for different reasons. Rarepairs...).

But at the same time, my strongest ship on this blog currently is with my wife's Whisper, so the top five is not indicative of anything.

I'd ship Blaze with Vanilla if someone was game to-

Verbs for "to go" in Istro-Romanian

Today I wanted to write something short. Here is a Venn diagram to explain the differences between these two words in Istro-Romanian. The definitions used were from the dictionary which only translates into Croatian.

Bangla words used (from my own translations):

হাঁটা hãʈa - to walk

যাওয়া jaowa - to go

চলে যাওয়া côle jaowa - to leave, depart, go away

"Hodati" in Croatian means "to walk", from the word "hod" (way, path). Cognate with xoditi in other Slavic languages but "hoditi" is also a word in Croatian with the same meaning.

Ići et poći both mean “to go”.

The Istro-Romanian – Croatian dictionary is very good as it gives many example sentences. In one sentence, we can see the usage of “męre” for the passive voice and honestly, this was my only proof for writing “passive voice” in the diagram:

våca més-a uţisę - krava je bila ubijena - “The cow was killed”

våca mé-s-a uţi-s-ę = cow go-ptc.pst-have.3sg kill-ptc.pst-F

(ptc.pst = past participle; 3sg = 3rd person singular; F = feminine)

Âmnå is cognate with Romanian umbla, and the older version is îmbla, well, according to Wiktionary. And both <î> and <â> make the same sound, it's just the spelling rules which are different between both these languages. The Latin root is ambulāre, giving us English "amble". If the simplifications are to be believed, then this word became "to go" in most other romance languages too:

Vulgar Latin *amnāre < *amlāre -> Spanish, Portuguese andar, Catalan anar, Italian andare

Vulgar Latin *alāre < *amlāre -> French aller

Mę́re is cognate with Romanian merge. Their past participles are més and mers. They come from Latin mergere which gave us English: merge, submerge, immerse (from the past participle)

And here are all the other example sentences mentioned in the dictionary:

ấmna veɣlʼå åsera čåi̭a! (Ž) - pođi (idi) večeras bdjeti kod [čuvati] oca! - go watch over your father tonight!

ấmnę neberí mę́re! (J) - pođi (idi) nabrati jabuke - go pick apples!

ấmnę ţę́re lúcru! (S) - idi tražiti (idi potraži) posao! - go look for a job!

ấmnę dúţe o cåplʼe de vír! (S) - pođi (idi) donesi kap vina! - go fetch a drop of wine!

ấmna acåsa! (Ž) - idi kući! - go home!

ấmna a lę́mne! (Ž) - idi po drva! - go get wood!
