My dog in play pin vs baby play pin - A prison on the outside but not inside ..

Yea dogs and baby are to explore .. but parents need space to recalibrate// work .. Neffis crate to owners who dogs aren’t crate trained looks like a prison … no.

She was small puppy I gave her a medium size carry around crate that’s alarming to some but taught her boundaries in the back seat when potty training ( Daniel energy makes her nervous) ..

We get home I built an ugly fortress playpen for her I did not know I was getting a dog until it got here and even then wasn’t sure it was going to be secure. I was set on no. Daniel on yes. And life said okay.

So I adjusted when she got here Daniel misread the assignment and again w new dog EFANI N ORLIE CHIWANA ..

When we got the $$ we got another crate ( I might have mentioned it and he had the funds) but I extended her play pen for expand her mind in a small space but not make her angry - AGRESSIVE BREED NOT GIVEN MENTAL RELSEASE .. a minority group.

Im trying to balance Daniel’s energy while learning dog training .. I don’t like her sleeping in the bed w us bc he doesn’t like her sleeping w me in full I don’t like her w him bc he only sees a object to play and own or nurse and understand in full.

I crate train her like a ferber baby method cry it out .. she had separation anxiety when we leave the house .. she’s in a new environment and Daniel puts her in the bathroom I don’t want to fight him bc WTF ARE EITHER OF US DOING … you misread that dog and treat it like shit U MISREEAD ME AND TRAP ME THE SAME. .. I need to get us BOTH OUT .. what’s my resources - MOVIE ENOUGH.

So I give neffi crate time when I need space physically but it’s a mental rest I wana smoke and lay and roll around — HAY INNER KID TIRED OF ADULT ENERGY ..

Chapter 1:

An exhibition match live stream was showing on the Tele, the match was between A man with long purple hair, a baseball cap and a cap with him coaching a reddish orange draconic creature vs an unknown opponent with blonde spiky hair. The title on the screen showed the purple haired man was called Leon

The Tv was watched by a man with upright brown hair, held together by his blue goggles, he wore a orange hoodie with a blue t-shirt and trousers

The man watches the match at home. He seems to be out of it, rarely focusing on action. He had always been Leon’s biggest fan and his Charizard but ever since four years ago, he hasn't felt right looking at any reptilian creatures recently either like if they brought up painful memories. He looked at his childhood Charmander teddy bear at the corner of his bed. He looked into the corner of the room to see a box that is meant for storage, in it was a old barely wore child sized dragon costume.

He paused the stream to push the costume fully into the box, as it caused chaos in the box, a blue octagon devise was pushed up, he looked depressed after seeing it, he then shut the box, sealed it with paper tape, turned the TV off and then took the box with him out of the room.

As he walked through the door, he could here a voice

Voice: Where are you going Tai?

Tai: Taking some stuff to storage Izzy, bye.

Tai left the house with the box and began to walk toward the city's local storage park and went to his family's shared container. He opened it and placed his box inside.

Tai: See you later bud.

He said in a melancholic tone

He closed the container and was about to leave until a girl jumped onto his shoulder, the girl had blonde wavy hair that reached her back with an even fringe. She wore a blue denim overalls with a white shirt, a blue sports cap, black work boots and tinted sunglasses.

As she jumped onto Tai’s shoulders, she managed to weigh less as a feather as she jumped off onto the roof of the container. Tai saw her holding onto a chip in her left hand.

She seemed to drop something. A small bag full of Xp Candies, Tai decide to follow the girl but before he could, a robot crush to the ground just before him

It was around 10 feet, covered in reflective silver armour, it's body was mostly human apart from the enlarged arms ending in blades fingers, it's face was just a purple visor and metal plate shaped into a set of angry clenched teeth.

Titan x-75: Where are they

Tai: What??

Titan x-75: My Name is Titan x-75, you must comply

Tai: Why should I!

Tai said in both frustration and confusion

Titan x-75: As a unit of SBS industrial I'm authorised to extract any data from you.

A rock was flung at the robot, Tai looked behind to see who it was, it was the girl from before.

Unnamed Girl: Run

Tai began to run from the machine but wasn't fast enough, the girl then grabbed his hand.

Unnamed Girl: hold on.

Tai used his other hand to hold her hand as well, the girl jumped a bit, causing a small object to dislodge from her left shoe, the item promptly turned into a hoverboard, Tai moved his body to be fully on the board.

Unnamed Girl: Like the Extreme Gear, it’s borrowed from a friend.

Tai was embarrassed by being close to this girl, and a bit confused by how casual she was being around a murder robot

Tai(thoughts): Ok so I guess I'm in crazy vile!!!

The robot tried to give chase but once past the storage area’s gate, it visor dulled in colour and it began to shut down

Unnamed Girl: Where do you want dropping

Tai: Huh, anywheres fine

Tai said awkwardly

The girl drove the board towards Tai’s house And landed across the road, on this side was a series of apartments

Unnamed Girl: So where are you at?

Tai: I'm across the road.

Tai points to his house

Unnamed Girl: Oh cool, see you around.

Tai got off the board, and both him and the girl went their separate ways

Tai entered his home and went straight to his bed. He dropped on to it as if all his energy leaked out of him

Tai(thoughts): What a weird girl, like who acts that casually in front of that thing. God I thought shit like this would stop happening. Wait why does she remind me of someone.

Tai’s mind flashes back to 15 years ago back when he was 11 years old. We see Tai with another child, this child had short black-dark green hair, on their face was two zigzags, they wore a white baseball hat and had a primary blue outfit.

Tai: Hey aren't you that loser

The child didn't respond, next to them was a red-haired girl who was slightly older and a teenage boy with black spiky hair.

Misty: Don't listen Ash

Brock: Kid please just leave us alone

Tai: Aren't you that stupid trainer who lost due to your stupid Charizard

Tai said smugly

Ash looks at Tai

Ash: Can I just go now

Ash has tears running down their face

Misty: Ash

Delia, Ash’s mum and Oak were walking towards Ash and the commotion.

Delia: Ash you ok

Delia runs towards her son, puts her hand and stares at Tai

Tai: What you mum here to protect you

A young girl walks up to Tai and begins to pull at her brother's shirt. Their mother followed shortly behind

Kari: Tai can were go

Tai: Why

Tai responded annoyed

Kari: Your being mean and mum looking for you

Behind Ash was a small yellow mouse with red cheeks and a tail shaped like a thunderbolt. It began to come forth

Ash: Pikachu

Pikachu proceeded to get in front of Ash and stared at Tai with an upset on their face. Kari looked at Pikachu and tried to pet the little creature. When she did Pikachu seemed to enjoy the attention

Ash: He's my starter Pokémon

Kari: Oh I want a mousy Pokémon, their awesome

Kari smiled and so did Ash

Tai: Kari that enough!

Tai furiously said

Tai pulled her back, she began to fall until one of the pokeballs on Ash's belt burst open, a Charizard manifested behind Kari to catch her. After catching her, the Pokémon stared Tai down with intense anger and frustration. Tai stood back slowly in shock, he couldn't say a thing.

Yuuko: Tai what's going on!!!

Yuuko looks around to see her daughter in Charizard’s arms, she picks her up and put her on the ground

Yuuko: What are you doing up there?

She said playfully

Kari: Tai was bullying Charizard's trainer and I tried to stop him and then he pulled me over and Charizard catched me

Yuuko: What!!

Yuuko gave him an angry expression before grabbing him by shirt and dragging him with one hand and holding Kari’s hand in the other. Before leaving she turned her head towards the group behind her

Yuuko: Sorry about my son

She looked at her son with a crossed face, Tai in a moment know what was up

Tai: Sorry for mocking you, Ash

Tai said with little effort

Ash: No worries, hopefully we meet again

Ash said in spontaneous happiness

Everyone around Ash were shocked at their statement including his two Pokémon

Delia: That's our Ash

Delia stated proudly

Misty: Yeah, I guess

Misty said with a smile

Tai looked shocked at how he just let him off the hook for his half-assed apology.

Tai stops remembering the past as looks around the room, that memory has played so much in his head over the years that he is not even sure it's real anymore.

Tai(thoughts): I wonder if she is his sister, it's possible that she is but why wasn't she there, did I forget?

Tai lay on their bed in a melancholy state. A knock on the door breaks the silence. A man with short spiky red hair and in a white shirt and black trousers appeared at the door, next to him was a red beetle creature around 3 feet tall.

Tai: Yo Izzy

Izzy: There's a delivery for you.

Tai: Ok?

Tai looked confused. He began to walk toward the door down stairs, he was followed by the beetle creature. Tai opened the front door to see the girl from before. She now wore a red jacket with a peach polo shirt underneath, she wore a blue denim skirt and black knee length combat boot. Her lack of headwear exposed her dark roots, she also wasn't wearing sunglasses and you can see her brown eyes. She held a small dvd size box.

Tai: Hey

Tai said awkwardly

Unnamed Girl: Hey

Tai: Hey do you know Ash Ketchum

Unnamed Girl: Actually I need to come in to talk with you

Tai: I just wanted to ask if your his sister

Unnamed Girl: Please I need to come in

Tai: If you are can you tell him I want to say sorry to him for real

Tai said in the most awkward way possible

Unnamed Girl: That's not necessarily

Tai: By the way do you want to go out

Tai said suddenly, he blushes heavily

Unnamed Girl: What?!

The girl blush awkwardly as well

Tai: Sorry if this is sudden, I'm a bit disorganised at the moment

A grey helicopter can be seen in the distance, it drops down a robotic humanoid shape to the ground. It was the Titan x-75. The machine is connected to the helicopter by a thick tube. Izzy sees it landing from an upstairs window and rushes downstairs. Once downstairs he looks at the beetle creature

Izzy: Tentomon, let's go

Tentomon: You got it

Both leave the house to face the metal beast

Izzy search his pocket for something but couldn't find it

Tentomon: what's wrong

Izzy: I can't find my Digivice, Tai can you please find it

Izzy shouted

Tai: Ok

Tai looked shock but went into the house

Izzy: Tentomon can you fight as is

Tentomon: Sure thing Izzy

The girl walks outside towards the battle, the machine begins to activate, Tai look back to see the girl walking towards danger

Tai: Wait what are doing!?

Tai shouted

Unnamed Girl: What does it look like I'm doing, I'm helping your friend fight.

Tai: But it's dangerous

Unnamed Girl: actually what was this apology you wanted to say

Tai: What?!

Unnamed Girl: Tell me!!!!!

Tai: Ash I'm sorry, I'm an arse and your a better trainer than I ever could be!

Tai began to cryt a bit

Izzy: Tai

Izzy said in a concerned manner

Unnamed Girl: Apology accepted

Tai: What?

Unnamed Girl: Also please stop using my dead name, I'm Ashley now, and yes going out does sound good

Ashley said playfully, she rubbed her cheek to reveal that they were covered in foundation, when removed her zigzags were revealed. The robot slowly started up, Everyone prepared for battle.

Izzy: Tai the Digivice now

Tai: Right!

Tai was still shocked but got moving anyway

Tai dashed into the house to look

Tentomon: How are you going to defend yourself miss Ashley

Ashley opens her box to reveal a small cylinder device, she presses a button on it causing the device to split in half

Device: PC Box Link activate, linking to Pallet Town

Inside the open device was a small portal appeared, Tai returns with the Digivice, a purple phone like device.

Tai: Got it Izzy

Tai looked at Ashley’s device, out of the portal jumped out a petit yellow mouse with a yellow bolt like tail, a set of thin pointed ears, red cheeks and black glossy eyes. They land in front of Ashley.

Ashley: You ready Pikachu

Pikachu: Pika Pika(Yes Ashley)

Ashley: Use Electro Ball

Pikachu: Pipika(Okie doke)

Pikachu used it's bolt like tail to conjurer a ball of thunder at the tip of its tail and used said tail to bash it like a basketball

Izzy: Tentomon use Super Shocker as well

Tentomon: Will do

Tentomon shoots two blue lightning bolts from its body that homes on to the machine. Both creatures make contact, causing a storm of electricity to swarm around the metallic creature’s exterior. The electricity moves away to reveal only moderate damage. The machine begins to full awake and charges Tentomon with its claws, Pikachu gets in the way between the two

Ashley: Pikachu uses Protect

Pikachu summons a reflective barrier to protect himself and Tentomon behind him, the claw bounces off the barrier, the Titan begins to put both their hands together and strike down on all below them. Both mons were hurt. Ashley rush to their side

Ashley: Pikachu!!!

Ashley was now in a fluster. She shouted as she dash towards her best friend. The Titan continued it’s assault but before it could perform its second blow, Ashley blocked it with her back to protect both Pikachu and Tentomon. She pulled two blocky bottles from her jacket

Tentomon: what are you doing

Pikachu: Pikapi(Ashley your going to hurt yourself)

Pikachu said tearfully

Ashley: I'm fine just let my use this Max Potions

Titan continues to attack Ashley, however Ashley is able to use both potions on both her friends to heal their wounds. Before Titan could attack Ashley again, Tai bursts in from the side with a hoover and strikes the machine so hard, the machine's visor brakes, causing internal damage to its head unit.

Titan x-75: You goddamn brat

Titan wildly swings at Tai's direction, with three claws slashes into Tai’s chest, Leaving three gouged lines across his chest. Izzy catches him

Izzy: You fucking bastard, Tentomon, the new Digivolution program is ready

Tentomon: Roger

Izzy: Tentomon Digivolve now!!!

Tentomon: Tentomon digivolve in Tyrantk….

Tentomon's body began to change into a ball of light but before he could finish, Titan attacked him with its fist, flinging him against the house. Titan stands still for a second as oil pours out of its broken visor. Tai stood up after being hit and proceeded to punch the machine, the machine barely seemed phased. Tai's chest was bleeding heavily, staining his clothes. The machine begins to move for a final hit on Tai. Ashley saw that the casing around its chest was broken. Ashley looked at Pikachu.

Ashley: Please use Volt Tackle on the crack

Pikachu: Pipi(Ok)

Pikachu body burst with yellow electricity, Pikachu then suddenly dashed into Titan, causing massive damage whilst causing it to fall over and destroy its cable. The helicopter tries to retreat but an orange spaceship with a green visor intercepts the vehicle by blocking it’s path and preventing it from escaping, Ashley looks up at the scene before blacking out, Tai slowly follows after. A group suddenly runs towards them.

Saturday September 23, 2023

Funny moment on our flight to London yesterday: the steward came down the aisle offering “afternoon tea,” which we both declined. But then we saw “tea” actually meant a cute little tray of tiny sandwiches and we called him back. So I had “tea” with a sparkling water. Just goes to show you that even when you speak the language you can still be confused!

Uneventful trip to Heathrow, we reclaimed our bags and bought tickets on the Heathrow-Paddington Station express train into London. It felt like a ten minute ride, I’m not sure how long it took! We arrived at Paddington and had an easy five minute walk to our hotel. We checked in and got settled. I was perusing Facebook before we went out to dinner and I saw that our former BrightStar colleague, Heidi (Partain) Eccles had posted that she was actually staying in our hotel - Paddington Chilworth. I messaged her and we made a plan to meet for breakfast in the morning.

I’d searched out local pubs and thought The Bear Pub (as in Paddington Bear?) sounded cute, but it was rather plain so we ended up down the street at The Pride of Paddington, lively pub scene and a vacant booth! We ordered Guinness, and split a burger and fish & chips while we watched a Women’s Futbol game on the tele - England vs Scotland. Then back to our room for a good nights sleep - starting week four and we’re getting a bit exhausted!

Heidi had owned a BrightStar franchise in Connecticut. She was very successful and I enjoyed being on the Marketing Committee with her (she was an expert, I was there to represent the owners without a marketing background … my role was to advocate for them to ‘dumb it down’ for the rest of us). She sold her business almost two years ago. She’s had some significant health issues (a rare lung and brain cancer) but has a wonderful attitude and has defied the odds with “amazing chemistry” she says. She and her husband travel a lot as she really knows how to live for each day. She’s in London with a friend who hadn’t ever travelled internationally- here for a week. It was really fun to meet her for breakfast and catch up with each other’s lives.

After breakfast, Jeff and I took a 90 minute stroll. Gorgeous morning in London and being a Saturday the streets were alive with runners, families and of course, tourists. I had a navigational error, so our first 30 minutes was walking out and back in the direction opposite Hyde Park! But we rerouted and did a fast lap around the lake in the park and back to our hotel just after 11am to pack and head to the train station.

We had a two hour ride to Exeter, arriving about 2pm, and a 0.2 mile walk up a very steep hill to tonight’s accommodation - Telstar Townhouse. Somehow I booked a room for 4 (was concentrating on getting a room with an en-suite bath), but it’s a nice little garden room out back. An extra bedroom to spread out our bags, as we’ll leave here in the morning ready to hike again!

I sat in the garden while Jeff took a snooze. Nice to enjoy the sunshine after out wetter days in Scotland. We walked about a mile into the city center of Exeter, a vibrant college town with an international vibe. Lots of shops, and lots of frisky young people … Jeff remarked that you could almost feel the level of hormones! We found an Italian restaurant where we got a lighter dinner with some yummy salads, then walked back to our hotel for a couple games of cribbage (I’m in a funk).

Al-Hilal has won the championship for three consecutive seasons from the 2019-20 season to the 2021-22 season, but last season, RET won the championship for the first time in 14 years since the 2008-09 season and succeeded in counterattacking.

Al-Hilal and R E.T. changed their positions as challengers and champions, respectively, and swept the world-class players who commanded European football side by side. It is the Saudi Arabian League in the 2023-24 season that has risen due to the "Saudi Classic," which has become more spectacular than ever, and fierce competition for the championship.

Al Ittihad is the most noteworthy team in this transfer market, in which the entire Saudi Arabian league is targeting the European market. Last June, he surprised the world by recruiting Ballon d’Or (2022) winner Karim Benzema. The contract period is until 2026. He had a tycoon named Benzema with a whopping 200 million euros a year.

Benzema was the beginning, not the end. Less than a month later, they signed another world-class midfielder, N'Golo Kante. It was revealed that Kante also promised to pay 100 million euros a year. In addition to Jota, who led the Celtic attack, recently Liverpool veteran midfielder Fabinho joined Al Ittihad.

Al Hilal is also a team that has received as much attention as Al Ittihad. Ruben Neves and Kalidou Koulibaly, who played an active role in the English Premier League, and Sergei Milinkovic Savic, one of Italy's best midfielders in Serie A, all wore Al-Hilal uniforms. It has been revealed that Al-Hilal have spent 178 million euros on players so far in the transfer window this summer.

Al-Hilal is not the only reason Al-Hilal has received attention. Al-Hilal has attempted to sign Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe. The transfer was not completed because the two players wanted to remain in Europe, but they showed off their financial power with an astronomical amount that European teams could not afford, such as offering 1 billion euros, including transfer fees and annual salaries, only for the recruitment of Mbappe.

Al Nasr, who finished second last season with Cristiano Ronaldo, will also try to win this season. Sadio Mane has joined as Ronaldo's attacking partner, with Marcelo Brozovic supporting both players in midfield. Alex Teles, a side defender with attacking skills, joined the defensive line.

Al Itifak and Al Ahli are also evaluated as dark horses aiming for the championship. RIT Park is attracting attention with the reunion of Liverpool legends Steven Gerrard and Jordan Henderson. Al-Ahli recently joined Riyad Mahrez, who was the main player in Manchester City's treble last season, and has previously built a team of players who played in the Premier League, such as Alan Saint-Maximin, Roberto Firmino and Edouard Mendy.

The competition for the top scorer is an atmosphere that is compressed into a bilateral confrontation between Ronaldo and Benzema, who were teammates during their Real Madrid days. Ronaldo showed off his scoring ability last season with 14 goals in 16 matches. This season, as Mane and Brozovic join, it is expected that there will be more scoring opportunities.

Moussa Dembele, who entered Saudi Arabia via Atletico Madrid in Spain and Olympique Lyonnais in France, is also considered a candidate for the top scorer. Dembele scored 21 goals in 30 appearances for Lyon in the 2021-22 season.

I always wondered if there was a rivalry between the old blue shirts and the Vipers. Like, all of sudden these new guys show up with better equipment, touted as "the backbone of the Cobra Legions" meanwhile you've been busting your ass for CC for years with nothing to show for it but a criminal record and Sgt. Slaughter related medical bills. All of a sudden it's Viper Vipers everywhere, Strato-Vipers, Tele-Vipers, Motor Vipers, meanwhile they might as well call you Latrine-Viper for all the shit details you get.

Still, when it's you vs the Joes, it's nice to think that they put aside their differences and fight side by side like this... at least until the boss calls retreat, then it's every snake for himself...

Hola de nuevo!

Hace un buen tiempo ya había visto que mencionaste a Bodoque y Tulio como tus personajes favoritos (y no te culpo, me fascina la dinámica que tienen... Algo así como frienemies, si es que se entiendeXD), pero no sé si diste alguna explicación a ello 🤔 Qué es lo que hace que no puedas decidir el uno sobre el otro?

Y otra pregunta: Hay alguna dinámica o personaje en particular que te gustaría ver más? No sé si soy yo, pero por ejemplo creo que Policarpo está muy infravaloradoXD

Oh wow ..... dos preguntas en un ask. Bueno, vamos a por la primera.

Una de las razones es porque no me quiero definir como mas fan del uno ni del otro porque.... hrm... tu favorito es Tulio ? en serio, ese idiota ? y si Bodoque es tu favorito entonces es como... ya... era obvio, Bodoque es el favorito de todos.

Esa es la razón mas superficial de todas, pero veamos el resto de los argumentos. Tampoco se cual voz prefiero, si la de Alvaro o la de Pedro, las dos son iconicas para mi, igual cuando cantan. Generalmente me gustan tambien todos los roles que tienen aparte de Tulio y Bodoque. Ya habia dicho antes que voces son importantes para mi, asi que este dilema tiene su peso lol.

Tercera razón, cuando era pequeña Tulio me daba miedo y yo veia a Bodoque como un adulto fallado, como alguien que no deberia tener como idolo, pero al mismo tiempo no encontraba otros personajes tan importantes como ellos (excepto quizas Policarpo, del que hablaremos después), asi que cuando era mas chica tenia el mismo problema eligiendo. Pero quizas Bodoque en esos tiempos hubiera ganado porque cualquier cosa que me daba miedo no podia ver y ademas mi mejor amiga me regaló un peluche de Bodoque.

Cuarta razón. hmm.. En el nivel técnico admiro mucho como construyeron su dinamica para que la serie funcione. Sin uno no hay el otro, o al menos no serian muy interesantes. En el analisis que hice hablaba de lo entrelazados que estan (y como mas o menos son los unicos que pueden tolerarse el uno al otro con todos sus errores), pero en lo mas basico son alguien rico vs. alguien repleto de deudas, alguien inutil vs. alguien que hace bien su trabajo, con algunas excepciones en episodios. De los dos no se puede decir que son el bueno y el malo, Tulio es demasiado tonto para ser verdaderamente maléfico y considerando la existencia del señor Manguera, esta mas o menos en el mismo bote con el resto, y Bodoque derrepente admite que no le interesa más la ecologia que quedar bien en la tele, y que abandonaria su trabajo al instante si solo podria ser moderador. Personajes que son ni buenos ni malos me encantan, y sirven para hablar de temas complicados en una forma que tiene mucha similitud a la realidad. Asi que si los dos son asi, como podria elegir ?

Quinta razón. Porque no considero a Juanín, Patana, Calcetín con Rombos man ? Mico el Micofono, Bongo Stingo, Mario Hugo, Guaripolo ? Por la simple razón que el show no se ha tomado bastante tiempo en la evolución de los personajes, y lo poco que he visto no me interesa mucho jajaj. Cuando era niña por ejemplo tiena muchos amigos hombres, asi que no me gustaba asociarme con el color rosado, las cosas tiernas y ni con historias romanticas, asi que por solo esa razón no me interesaban Patana, Juanín, Cindy, ni Mario Hugo, ya que la gran parte de sus personajes eran temas romanticos/tiernos o eran rosados, en el caso de Cindy eran las dos cosas. Despues de haber crecido no ha cambiado mucho esto, aunque soy menos estricta aplicando esta.......filosofia.

Razón numero seis. Los dos diseños de los titeres son geniales. He tratado de buscar mas sobre el diseñador pero casi no he encontrado nada. A la persona que diseñó Bodoque y Tulio.....como se siente ser un genio tan grande.....Sin los peluches asi de lindos e interesantes nadie pensaria en mirar la tele o hacer click en un video de youtube. Es algo muy muy importante, a la vez que lo es que se vean todos como que existen en el mismo mundo. Los detalles son adorables, y arriesgados pero de una forma que funcionó igual. Quien hubiera pensado que uno de los personajes mas tiernos no tendria ojos, si eso es una de las primeras cosas en las que uno piensa con animales adorables ? Porque tenemos como moderador un mono tremendo con orejas una mas arriba que la otra ? Porque son los reporteros de deporte guantes, balones y pelotas de tenis ? Todas estas cosas son decisiones, y cada personaje es una parte del gran puzzle. Sin Bodoque otros conejos se verian fuera de lugar, sin Tulio quizas otros casi-animales como Patana se verian fuera de lugar, y asi. Los dos son muy importantes en el gran diseño del show. Encuentro genial tambien que Bodoque tiene los ojos asi porque Alvaro los tiene asi.

Para concluir, veamos cual es mi parte favorita de los dos. En general, me encantan los personajes que hacen que pase la serie. Los personajes que si los sacas de la serie no habria serie o al menos habria una serie completamente diferente (y mas fome), como Huey en los Boondocks o Retsuko en Aggretsuko. En este caso seria claramente Tulio, simplemente porque es moderador, ni considerando su idiotez que tira gasolina al fuego cuando pasa algo. Por el otro lado, Bodoque es el tipico personaje que le gusta a la gente en general. Es común que el segundo de un duo es el personaje favorito de fans, como cuando Quico recibio mas atención que El Chavo en su serie. En el caso de Bodoque, al ser el menos estúpido de los dos lo hace quedar bien, aunque el tampoco es una persona que se podria describir con las palabras “genial” o “brillante”. Simplemente... es el personaje que trae tu atención a él cuando aparece.

Y ese fue mi gran dilema. Quizas hubiera podido hablar más pero creo que ya entiendes lo más importante.

Mientras estaba escribiendo todo esto pensé en responder tu segunda pregunta en otro post, porque sino se convertiria en el ask mas grande de tumblr. No te preocupes, te voy a @ .

Star Vs: Total Eclipsa the Moon and Butterfly Trap (Tomtrsopective Interlude)

Hello you beautiful people, and welcome back to the tomtrospective... minus Tom, since as i’ve mentioned a LOT in recent parts of this tribute to eveyrone’s faviorite demon voiced by shawn from boy meets world, realized I hadn’t mentioned that in a while, I”m also covering the metora arc from the second half of season 3, as Tom plays a pretty sizeable roll in it’s climax , the season 3 two part finale Divide and Conquer, and if i’m going to cover what’s essentially an hour long episode i’m going to do it right. It’s why i’m also doing the della arc alongside the Lena arc next month, the latter of which is fully paid for: because Shadow War pays that off too. Even if it makes way more work for me, if i’m going to review something, i’m gonna do it right. So we come to this pair of episodes. First question a lot of you might be having...

To which I say.. I ? We’ll see. The second is that “Why aren’t you covering the bog beast of boggabah?”. Well.. honestly it’s for time constraints. I have a LOT of episodes to cover, my own fault I know but again if you do a job you do it right, and cutting the one that while part of the plot isn’t nearly as essential to anything and ultimately only sticks for one episode character development wise. It’s not bad, almost nothing with Alan Tudyk in it is bad. That’s a fact, that’s a Disney fact.

Point is while I like covering EVERYTHING I can, I do have to draw a line and since this retrospective is about TOM, i’d rather not pile on more episodes that don’t involve him than absolutley necessary. Bog Beast just dosen’t feel NEARLY as much of a necessary detour as these two coming up or Skooled and Tough Love down the line. So with all that out of the way, join me under the cut for a discussion of Eclipsa’s character up to these episodes and the episodes themselves.

Our detour DOES take us right into my OTHER faviorite character in the series, tied with tom and the other character that makes watching the series post battle of mewni, worthwhile: Eclipsa. We’ve mentioned her before obviously but this is the first episode she actually shows up in that i’m covered, and i’m delighted to finally tackle her head on. And the other faviorite thing isn’t an exageration: She’s equal to tom in my heart. She’s just as compelling, just as well acted, and unlike Tom actually gets a decent resolution to her character arc. In fact she’s one of the ONLY characters to get a decent resolution. It’s also at this point her character undergoes a shift. While she dosen’t change as a person that much, before this it was left purposfully vauge if Eclipsa was really.. evil, and possibly the big bad of the season. On the one hand her magic is unquestionably dark and evil even if she isn’t, and while Star wasn’t at all effected by her chapter, Marco went all

For a second before Glossaryck fixed it off screen, and using her “Darkest Spell” left both her and moon with blackened goop on their arms for the rest of their lives. Not only that but she pushed Star into morally dubious actions: Teling her Marco could be her squire simply because she said so, and being the one that encouraged her to explore her butterfly form.

But we also saw her GENUINELY bond with Star, the two relating both on seeing monsters as people, and dating them, and on being reckless, powerful and often looked down upon by Moon for unfair reasons. Something I hadn’t realized but shoudl’ve before this is, for Season 3 at least.. Eclipsa is the mentor star never properly had. Glossaryck, while he did do a decent job from time to time, is just too damn neutral to be a proper mentor, not really carring what happens to mewni or if he even lives or dies, a neglectful attitude that honestly caused a good chunk of Mewni’s problems, never remotely trying to invervene in his protege Solaria’s genocidal campaign against monsters, his children’s growing fantatical racisim, or well.. anything. He just dosen’t care. Moon TRIED to be one, and can be a good mother on occasion.. but the two are exact opposites: Moon is controlled in every aspect of her life and compartmentalizes and structures everything, while Star is pure chaos and impulse. It’s why River has an easier time parenting her, as she got a LOT more of his personality than her mothers, and thus can actually relate to her. Bog Beast shows this off well: He teaches her a lesson Moon probably has tried to a thousand times, to be patient.. but does so on her level with an old family ritual and using a metaphor, rather than trying to drill it into her head. It’s why when he did actually teach her Glossayrck used the same: Star is just not a traditional learner, moon is. And there in lies the problem.. Moon just cannot accept for most of the series that her daughter isn’t like her despite her best efforts or try to see it on her level, and Star dosen’t really try to see it from Moon’s perspective either, though being you know the Child and not the parent, it’s a bit more understandable. Moon has a real hard time seeing other people’s perspectives, and really changing.. and given Star has gone from being a proud racist to realising how horrible her attiude to monsters were in under a year, really is why the two clash so much. It’s something I sadly relate to: While my own dad is not racist, he is a staunch republican, is one of those morons who belives the “Well if trans people can use the bathroom they want then rapists will put on women’s clothing just to enter a bathroom!” bullshit fully, and while he supports gay people myself included did NOT support gay marraige and when I was a teen would often say “Wellt hat’s as valid as me marrying bob” Bob.. is my dad’s cat who hates me for understandable reasons as I was not great with cats when he got him. So yeah I get your parent being an impenetrable brick wall on important issues.

The point is Eclipsa...actually listens to star, agrees to her views and instead of trying to FORCE star to go the way she wants simply guides her, giving her advice and being gentle with her. The two are similar enough that Eclipsa’s advice, good or bad, tends to stick, and that Eclipsa actually cares what Star thinks which Moon does not. But it was hard to gage if she GENUINELY cared or was just playing star. But these episodes shred that ambiguity to pieces, showing that while eclipsa is not without faults.. she’s not evil... and the people who called her that very much ARE. So without further adeu....

Total Eclipsa The Moon:

In the previous episode, Star burst into Moon’s room giving her the revelations of the night. Moon.. did not take it well, both unaware and furious her daughter had a party at the monster temple, refusing to believe her and taking umbrage at Star’s VERY understandable accusation that she sent Rhombulus after them, since he had her royal guards with him, levitating her daughter out of the office.

But what is suprising is that, as this episode opens after brooding a bit and TRYING to get back to work.. Moon clealry can’t get the idea out of her head. You can see the wheels turning: Sure star is impulsive and did falsely accuse her.. but she’s not a liar. While Star hides stuff on occasion.. when she lost the book she came right to her parents to confess, something Moon genuinely appricated. Why would she TRANSPARENTLY make something up? While the trial is close, Star would at least, if sloppily and ucnovncingly try and fake evidence if that was her goal. And while the party isn’t something Moon is happy about it is VERY suspcious Rhombulus didn’t tell her about police action on her terriotry using her own guards involving her daughter, several monsters, and the heirs to every kingdom in the land. So she takes the Royal Lineage book and goes to see Eclipsa.. who made a guitar out of bones because she’s awesome and that’s what you do when you have a lot of itme on your hands and nothing else to do.

She’s casual with Moon, who just assumes she’ll get the answer she wants l, asks her to identify her daughter.. though Eclipsa is taken aback by this. She’s willing to.. she just hasn’t seen her face in thosands of years let alone as a grown woman and assumes she’s dead by now. It’s a very good, very small moment.. and it’s made more striking both by what we learned last episode.. and the fact she has no idea who Festivia is, and knows who her one and only Daughter was: Meteora. And while Moon does bring up that her name just could’ve been changed... Eclipsa shoots that down.. Meteora had clover cheeks and “The cutest little tail”. Moon asks how this even makes sense and Eclipsa’s response is absolutely wonderful “When a queen and a monster love each other very much...”. Before we can get to the sexy details Moon then clarifies that she’s confused how she didn’t know about this and wants answers, though she still keeps Metora still being alive a secret for now.. but it’s understndable as Moon still dosen’t trust Eclipsa, and dosen’t want to risk her trying to escape to find her right before the trial. Eclipsa tells her there is one place they could get a solid answer, the archives, which are in the commission building, though Moon apparently doesn’t have access..despite being queen. You think she would’ve questioned that by now given the name.

But Moon plans to go, and refuses to take Eclipsa along.. but is swayed when Eclipsa genuinely not only accepts it.. but sadly and without any hint of manipultion and with pure honesty asks her to tell her what happened to her daughter. And for the first time... Moon sees Eclipsa as not the boogeyman history wrote her as.. but just another mother desperatley looking for her child and finding out history covered her up and she may never know what happened to her. So we next cut to the magical high comission building, where we see Shawn, the security guard, deer man and bumbling doofus, who ends up not scanning moon when the magic detector, basicallyu a metal detctor, goes read because she terrifies him out of it. And yeah.. good point she is on the comission he really shoudn’t have to do that. Though I like the sublte hints with this and the archives that the comission have slowly creeped up in thier authority: while the queen is still granted a seat at the table.. she’s not given ALL the toys in the box despite that not really being fair given how much sway the comission has in mewni politics. But naturally Moon has snuck eclipsa in and even more naturally is nearly having a panic attack over breaking the rules. But she dosen’t have time for that and asks Eclipsa where the archives are.

She’s not tricking moon or anything though: It’s been thousands of years and the comission building has changed vastly, when she was around the archives were just a stone hut off to the side. That gives Moon an idea and they find a stone wall in the storage room, which Eclipsa activates in her own weird and endearing way. This also shows off the one trait that seperates Eclipsa from star: Star usually just does random things because. While Eclipsa isn’t IMUNE to this usually when she does something weird it’s specifically to acomplish something, she’s just using her own unique methods. LIke here she rubs her back against the stones and what not.. ut it gets the door open. Unfortuntely our heroines then run into Shawn who being a natural narc, runs off ot tattle before Moon cuts him off. Eclipsa insists they zap his memory and only hasn’t for a crucial reason: she can’t do magic without a wand. It’s an intresting and understandable reveal: like star she just relied on the wand for it and never learned how to do her spells without it as she never really needed to.. and even now she dosen’t. While her magic COULD help her escape.. she has no intrest in escaping since it’d only hurt star and even a sham trial will still make her a martyr for mosnter kind and prove Star’s point she’s not a bad person. Even if she looses she wins. So she simply had no reason to relearn it and likely figured correctly doing so might just rouse further suspicon or get her locked in chains or other nonsense and given she can, if unbenownst to moon, wander the castle freely via the secret passages.. she’s really not bothered by house arrest. Moon of course dosen’t want to.. but in a great gag ends up doing so by mockingly saying “Memory eraser gun” and making a gun gesture with her hand.. and ends up actually doing that as a result. They put the comotose magic outside. And this scene is a great character bit to me for both characters: It shows off a bit flaw for each character: For moon it’s that she lacks the ablity to improvise. She can and has created magic but is so orderly and regimented it has to be percise and she dosen’t grasp just HOW easily a spell can be created simply by imagining it. She lacks the pure raw creativity and talent of her daughter and supposed ancestor.... but makes up for it in what she calls eclipsa out on: restraint. While Moon has ENTIRELY too much, serioulsy the stick is so far up her ass she can see it when she talks, it’s not itself a bad thing, and using it recklessly and irresponsibly, as the suplmental big boook of spells shows, without thought or without proper preperation can have devistating consequences. Skywinn, one of the past queens and the first in the book, destroyed an entire dimension simply by letting loose far too much, while Rhina, Moon’s great great grandmother, acccidently kileld her abusive husband because her heartbreak spell was a bit too literal. Power is fine and all. but you have to control it. It’s why Xavier’s School Existed before he decided to take all the kids to an island because humanity suck so much: you need to learn to use your pwoer responsibly and eclipsa never did. She can contorl it perfectly as we’ll see.. but she also dosen’t think of the implications of what she does with it, she just does and to hell with the consequences. And that’s really her whole problem: She acts mostly on impulse without thinking, and it’s had bad consequences.. though ironically her fleeing with Globgor, as said book wonderfuly outlined.. was NOT a rash or impulse decision but a VERY hard one where she was stuck between keeping the crown and pleasing eveyrone.. or fleeing with her lover, being happy and taking care of a serious threat to the kingdom as a whole WITH him, but knowing it might not end well.. and sadly it did not. Eclipsa does show her skill though once agian, having made up a silly song to rmemeber where to go and since the archives haven’t been touched and are about the same, easily leads them in. Though once they reach the door they can’t open it, but Eclipsa has a solution: A rat hole. “It’s so gross in here” she says delighted. Moon isn’t happy about it but agrees to it.. but her ass gets stuck.. and that’s not me being crude or making a joke her ass literally gets stuck and Eclipsa has to go for help but takes an hour, long enough for a spider to hypnotize moon and steal her crown and for moon to question trusting her.. before Eclipsa returns. And this is what cements what I was getting at: Before there was clear ambiguity in “Is eclipsa the villian or not”. Here.. it’s gone. She has shady powers and her morals are flexable.. but she’s still a kind, loveably weird woman and it’s obvious by this point her reputation as evil was horribly exagerated, and primarily brought on by racisim. And moon’s realizing it too. They find the archives, which is a cool concept: magitek hands that record everything that happens to a royal, even showing some of what’s going on right then in the other plot. Moon quips that this actually really would’ve helped with the trial, but apologizes for it showing that she’s slowly realized what Star knew from minute one and what I just mentioned: Eclipsa is not a bad person. She’s flawed, but she’s not evil or some nightmarish destroyer of worlds.. she’s just a batty 40-50 something woman who dosne’t think through her actions.

Eclipsa does explain it probably wouldn’t of done moon good, as it’s near impossible to find anything unless you know where to look.. which makes perfect sense. The scroll records every queen’s every actoin every minute of every day. Even summarized that’s like trying to sift through footage of eveyr minute of your life. Even sped up, it’d take weeks or months or even years to find something without knowing where exactly to look. Thankfully Eclipsa does.. but finds the Scroll has been offered as the “Daughter of queen eclipsa nd king shatacan” is sewn in there as festivia.. literally.. like part of the scroll was ripped out. And as close friend, endless resource and tom expert bar none @jess-the-vampire pointed out to me when I asked for her imput on these ones, that makes no sense as the two never had a daugther and I feel they just didn’t think that through. Plot hole aside.. it’s VERY clear someone has tampred with the archives and if Moon wasn’t already questinoing if Eclipsa was really bad this clinches it: Someone ERASED one of her family from history and hid the truth even from them. And Moon’s going ot get answers.. after our heroes run from the security system, get the crown back and BARELY escape with the scroll before the comission catches them.

Back at the castle Eclipsa is disgraught over her daughter and Moon clinches their new bond by revealing she might still be alive... Moon might not KNOW if Star was telling or even knew the whole truth.. but she knwos something is going on and she’s going to find out. And whiel she may not know everything.. she has a damn good idea who did this.. .and says so just as star comes in from her adventure, having learned patience. Cue the credits. Final Thoughts: This was a fun one, with Moon and Eclipsa having a delightful odd couple dynamic, the regminted overly serious and overly stuffy moon with the wild and reckless and charmingly weird eclipsa is just a great dynamic and endlessly entertaining and I wish the show had done more with it before what’s about to happen but what we got was great and minor plot hole mentioned aside, the reveal only deepens the intrigue for what’s next.. so speaking of which...

Butterfly Trap: Here. We. Go. One of the series best episodes, if not it’s BEST. Oh me mow i’m excited.

We open with the long set up trial of Eclipsa Butterfly.. and as you’d expect by a trial by a jury of her enimies, the comission mostly sees this as a formality outside of Moon. Sean is excited though, he gets to bring out the typey thingy. Usually Rhombluus just crystalises them.

Yeahhh... the show never properly deals with Rhombulus’ tendency to imprison first ask questions never or gets any of his victims, i.e. the ones he probably had less reason to crystal up not ones who were eating universes or whatever , free. But this is the LEAST of the dropped threads from this one. Point is this isn’t a remotely fair trial.. as hammermed in by the fact Hekapoo is upset and confused that Star is here too. Moon wants her to see eclipsa got a fair trial. Also Rhomblus wants her DEAD, but the others shot him down on this. HIs reasoning , for him, is suprisingly good: crystalising her didn’t work last time and implicilty given star likes her star could just order her freed when she’s queen. But I get their reasoning: Killing her would only make her a martyr to monsterkind, and to Star who probably woudln’t listen to or respect them EVER again. And Moon still wanted that when she started the trial. So while clearly a sham this does crystalize, pun unitended, how corrupt the comissoin is. Their holding a trial with no jury, no witnesses, not that most are alive but some are, and with everyone CLEARLY thinking she’s guilty before it starts... and no one questioned it. This is even unusual as they rarely have an actual trial. And it’s about to be revealed to be a WHOLE lot worse.

So the trial begins and Moon brings out the evidence, which is oddly disorganized given how much work she was putting in before, and ismostly secondhand accounts and interviews and their going to have to just sit there and sort through it all, which NONE OF THEM, especially rhomblus are happy about “THIS SOUNDS LIKE MATH!”

But Eclipsa has a simplier, if much more risky suggestion: Trial by Box. While Moon points out this isn’t great for her as the box is merciless and will not take lies, but Eclipsa counters rightly that she has nothing to hide. ANd honestly again given the commission are clearly out for her blood.. this is the only way she gets anything resembling a fair trial. Resembling being the key word. This is the most clearly rigged trial i’ve seen since that time Batman’s villians kidnapped him and put him on trial with joker as the judge.. good episode though.. and THAT was even a more fair trial as they actually gave him a lawyer and let him go when she made a convincing enough case.

So the box is brought out, and it turns out to be the truth or punishment cube from season 2. Which Moon insists isn’t a party game.. despite the fact a bunch of teenage girls easily got one and it has a setting for that when moon grabs it. Along with, in a really great bit, settings for Bachelorette (All right ladies!) and Intervention. Know someone who could use that honestly.

So the Comission ask their questions. We start with Rhombluus who asks if she wrote the “Evil Chapter” in the book of spells. Eclipsa dosen’t deny it but ponits out THEY labeled it that, Star rightly points out none of htem have actually read it moon included, and Eclipsa.. shoves her foot in her mouth by pointing out she’s made FAR WORSE spells that didnt make the cut. “Writing is rewriting you know”. Love this woman.

So next up is Hekapoo who asks if she abandoned her husband to run off with Globgor. Well they dont’ use his name because end of season plot twist but still. Eclipsa not only firmly doesen’t deny it but fondly caressses the projection of him “Hello sweetie”. Hekapoo marks her down with evil for this which... Jeff if you would?

Thank you. Not only is this racist bs that star perfectly destroyed earlier in the season, as the comission themselves are monsters in all but category, but the spellbook makes this so much worse. As I said for once Eclipsa .. wasn’t being impulsive. She was torn between duty and love and choose love, and even then partially did so to prevent the septarians from wiping out both the rest of monster kind AND mewmans. And Shastacan, was a massive dick, who took her not being in love with him like he was with her as a sign to throw her monster child away as we’’ll see and rightfully got eaten for it. I know this is all obvious stuff but it’s hard not to yell about it. Next it Rhombluus.. who asks if she ate those babies. Again that was Bubipsa as Hekapoo understandably yells at him for but no backsies, and she sgets another evil mark on H-Poo’s good or evil tally because she’s that bitch. Finally Moon asks if she’s sorry for what she’s done.. and given the most they genuinely have are that she wrote spells that while dark and evil, were not only not the worst she could do but were clearly not used on any innocents, had an interracial marraige, and did not eat babies.. yeah, she’s not. So the comissoin prepare to cast judgement on the woman whose only “crime” is interacial dating, in a sham trial.

Thankfully.. Eclipsa turns the tables. Before they can hastily refreeze her... Eclipsa points out she has a question.. and Moon points out as a former queen of mewni she’s entitled to a comission seat and thus TECHNICALLY a member. A loose rule and one you’d think Moon wouldn’t enforce.. but she does, a large hint at something i’ll get to in a moment as the reveal’s just too good to spend already. Naturally she has but one question for them:

No, obviously it’s “What did you do with my daughter”. Even more obviously they deny it.. but as we saw last time the cube came out, even lying to YOURSELF isn’t something the cube accepts so outright lying to save your fucking hides is even worse and it begins to crush them all. And after spending most of the runtime putting up with their racist and clearly biaserd bollocks it’s SO fucking cathartic to see them desperatly scramble and fail to avoid the box, with Hekapoo screaming “We didn’t do anything!”.

Eventually Star calls them out on it pointing out they enforce the rules for everyone ELSE, and Hekapoo in paticular called Star and Moon on keeping the book being stolen a secret and Marco on Star’s butterfly form fiasco, so yeah, their glass house is in shards.. and Rhombluus FINNALLY ends this charade and confesses. Hekapoo naturally is mad at him for this.. despite the fact that if he hadn’t they’d all be dead and none of this would matter.

Also Eclipsa is just badass during the entire sequence. While Moon and Star are panicking and the comission are covering for themselves, though the former two are probably doing it more just to keep up appearances but we’ll get to that in just a moment. Eclipsa, SHe just has this expression the whole time, as I put at the top for good reason.

Just a look of pure SCORN, of a mother’s rage at having her daughter hidden from her and wiped from history, of having her husband imprisoned for rightfully getting vengance for it, for having HERSELF imiprosned and made out to be some kind of ghoul for the crime of marrying who she loved and saving her damn kingdom. She’s politely put up with this shit for as long as she had to to get to this moment.. but now as her tormentors despretly try to avoid the consequences of their actions and the truth.. she can only look on with pure, justified hatred at EVEYRTHING they’ve done and just how cowardly it is they refuse to admit it.

So with the pepretraotrs in the cover up explosed, Rhomblus explains he was tired of lying. This COULD have been a good turn for the character, showing he had some remorse and have him get a redepmption arc... any of them could’ve.. but instead thier just 2 dimensonal asssholes after this because “racists be like that’ which they do, but it dosen’t mena you couldn’t of used them as big bads for the final season instead of wasting them. But yeah back on point Rhombluus prods omni to tell them via his projection thing and he does: After Eclipsa was imprisoned, Shastacan got rid of meteora, and we of course know where she went and soon we’ll find out just what happened to her there, but more ont hat another time, and the comission covered things up by taking a pesant girl, though unlike the graphic above we later found out she was left behind by her family and taken in by the comission, who are shown to also have raised her by the book of spells. They gave her the wand, putting magic in her veins.. how ..

Look me and Jess discussed this: magic being given by the wand is terribly inconsistent and while I might go into it in a seperate article some other day, now is not the time or place for it.

It is however the time and place for the reveal as Moon’s reaction to all of this? “We suspected as much”

Yup, as our heroines explain and Shawn freaks the fuck out in one of the series best gags, and mirrors the audience’s reactions, we find out this was all a setup: and as I alluded too one cleverly set up the whole episode, pun unintended: Moon is suddenly dour and ready to to through with the trial despite last episodes revelations, she brings in evidence that’s entirely unsorted despite being a control freak who was previously working on gathering and sorting said evidence, and she backs up eclipsa despite it clearly givng her an advantage. All little hints that something wasn’t right there. Whlie Hekapoo, being again that bitch, is naturally furious, Moon is undaunted and explains why they did this.. and Star was in on it too, which shows that even if her patience lesson from bog beast dosen’t stick entirely, sigh, it does stick for this one episode as she not only waited through this sham trial.. but played her part well, arguging with moon at times to make it seem like nothing had changed. Everything was a careful and constructed plan to get the commission into a position where they COULDN’T lie. Even if Rhombulus hadn’t cracked one of them might of when theyw ere close and while it was a huge risk they all knew going in... it paid off. The truth is laid bare. If only Lekmet’s bi ass were here .. so he could aslo get raked over teh coals for htis. Also yes bi, he had the bi flag colors on the flowers on ihs portrait they left where his seat used to be.

So with the cards all on the table, the Cube passes judgment; Eclipsa is guilty.. but so are her judges minus Moon, so he tells them to think about that, which they do, while he leaves so they can sort out their issues. Star reads the assholes the riot act.. until she stumbles on realizing something: Eclipsa, her supportive, loving, and wonderful grandma whose actually like her.. isn’t her grandma. Eclipsa responds with an “I’m sorry sweetie’ making two things clear by her tone: She’s just as devistated by this reveal as star, she just has more pressing things in her head right now, and that even if their not bound by blood.. sh’es still star’s grandma and always will be. What hits harder is the realization sh’es not a princess and her life is a lie. Granted she is TECHNICALLY a princess , since her dad is still a king by blood and could take the johnason throne if he wanted, but tha’ts being pednatinc: the real point is that the legacy that put so much pressure on her all her life is a lie, and she isn’t who she thought she was. “We’re nothing mom, we’re nothing. “

So star runs off as both of her moms try and comfort her. And as we close out this episode god damn is Eden Sher good in this. Just her acting in this scene is so damn heartbreaking and powerful, going from indignant and calling out the cocmisison.. to heartbreaking, slowly and quitely falling apart as she realizes what happened. So what’s this anguish star’s going through amount to?

Oh sure the ending of season 3 wouldn’t happen without this reveal.. but Star being devistated by it goes NOWHERE. There’s no character arc of her dealing with the fact she’s no longer a princess or once she gives teh wand to eclipsa, even heir to the throne probably. No angst, no deep reflection not even an offhand joke. We find out who the commoners Festivia descended from were.. but that’s IT. Star just kinda ignores this like her confession to marco last season only that at least got a payoff. I will bitch about that payoff soon but it’s you know A PAYOFF. This is a WASTE of an utterly amazing plot twist, one that turns the show on it’s head and star’s entire rebelious princess character around. because they just didn’t care to actually let her change as a character after this season. She learns nothing from this point, dosen’t really grow, and ends in a really terrible and ghastly place. This episodes excellent and while it’s after effects would be felt.. it left SO much more on the table they never bothered to pick up and use.

Final Thoughts: As I said full of wasted potetinal.. but one of the series best episodes still. Hampered a bit by said waste of potetial but on it’s own it’s gripping, has a well set up swereve, and some great acting and animation all around.

So that does it for this review: Next Time: Star and Tom’s relationship progresses as Tom is forced to see what his privlage has insulated him from, while it then hits a massive road block as we get.. to Booth Buddies. And yes i’m doing Skooled second, Booth Buddies is TECHNICALLY seasonly approraite for valentine’s way.. just like herpes. My thoughts on The 100 7x05

Hey, guys,

Sorry for not doing any comments on the last two episodes. I’ve been a little busy and I struggled to connect to the show, so it hindered my enjoyment, but it’s all better now. Liked episode 4 and 5 was even better, jampacked with info and it answered a lot of questions.

Welcome to Bardo

Badass Octavia is da bomb (people don’t say that anymore, right?). When she was captured in episode two, I thought she had lost her fighting spirit, but it’s back, bitches. Well, until she runs into an invisible wall trying to escape. She’s captured and transported to M-cap (whatever that means). Then we get a welcome little flashback to Lincoln but it’s obvious that Bellamy would be the hand reaching out. He’s her rock, like she’s expressed many times.

Unlike John Murphy who is not quite a friend, or family and definitely not a lover. Introducing so many new characters in the final season of a show is never a good idea, because this is the time to wrap up all the stories of the existing ones, but come on, who cannot love Levitt. Even when he first meets Octavia, he doesn’t want to hurt her. Jason, you better not harm one hair on this precious little puppy’s head!

As he binges The 100 through Octavia’s eyes, he starts rooting for her, and he actually gives a damn, unlike most people on this show. He understands her strengths and weaknesses and he makes her see it too. “You’re a warrior to be sure, but your heart is pure.” Wow, what an honest and beautiful line. (Scroll down for my shipping comments.)

So is O and Hope’s fleeting little reunion. It’s amazing to experience this deep loving side of Octavia after her darkness. She’s truly one of the most diverse and developed characters on the series. Now Hope and her resilience is quickly making it to the top as well.

While Hope is trying to send her back home, we learn that memory loss is due to the time dilation. One quick note on this, it’s not linear, there’s no easy equation to calculate it unless you’re Stephen Hawking or Einstein. I don’t think it’s constant either. 10 years on Skyring = 11 days on Bardo = a few minutes on Sanctum. In the current time, 5 years on Skyring = 1 day on Sanctum = 7 days on Bardo. So, it’s clear that the planets are moving, and other factors are playing into the phenomenon. It’s more important to understand the time relative to each planet.

Levitt was the one who tattooed Hope’s code onto O’s back, also the one who planted the note into Hope’s arm. Indeed the kind of man you want on the inside, he even accepts a blow to the face as thank you.

Sheep-ish?

Thirty minutes on the clock and the trio gets led to a congregation to praise the shepherd. I never thought it was Anders, I do, however think it might be Cadogan. The Bordoan’s built the underground forest because they destroyed their planet. Ugh, what’s new? The shepherd herded his sheep from earth to Bardo via the stone. Cadogan and his second dawn cult?

Back to Clarke. So, after last episode I thought ‘the key to winning the last war’ line was an artifice for luring Clarke to disciples, but now it’s clearly true. They’ve located the key and they will win the last war. Levitt was interested in Clarke surviving the City of Light with the flame in her head, they probably assume she still has it. Cadogan burned Becca alive. Could it be because of the flame? Is this all because of that damn little chip that can’t seem to die?

Bellamy is not dead, I repeat, Bellamy is not dead! I believe that memory could be staged or implanted for a reason. Also, there’s no body, he jumped through the bridge. In the promo photos, he wears a ring but his actions towards Octavia seem a little cold and generic. On first watch, I thought it was bad acting but if he was programmed to do this, it makes sense.

Note the sequence of events. Octavia returned 7 days ago and was asked to talk her brother down, but we don’t see the actual scene. Instead we’re shown a memory. They could have implanted it to make her vulnerable and perhaps more susceptible to the procedure. I don’t know, but this theory could lead to Robot-sheep!Bellamy on Nakara, where he’ll encounter Clarke and the gang.

I have to be honest, I really don’t like this character arc for Bellamy. It’s unoriginal and a mime of Peeta’s storyline in Mockingjay. Sorry, but so far it feels like the writers were so over the show, they just wanted to get it done. And that attitude really bleeds into one’s creative concepts. I could be completely wrong, in fact, I hope I am.

Echo spins a Finn

My word, I lost the love of my life once, but I sure didn’t kill anyone. When Echo received that vision of Roan, I was hoping for some progression on her individual arc, they’ve made me care about her, and now we get the opposite. Why? One thing I have to admit, a killer performance from Tasya Teles! No pun intended.

Look, this show hasn’t explored Bellamy and Echo’s relationship enough to make her murder believable. It was the exact same thing with Finn. I wasn’t invested in Finn and Clarke’s connection, so his actions of killing a grounder tribe was more repulsive than understandable. Sure, Echo loves Bellamy and her sole purpose is to save him, but I’ve never truly witnessed their love for each other. They had one or two intimate scenes which cannot compel a deed like this. And in the process, she screwed Hope and Diyoza.

Anyway, I don’t think there’s any coming back from it. She murdered an innocent person in cold blood. That’s sure to open a door to the dark side. Just look at Octavia after killing Pike and her actions were justified by jus drein jus daun.

Say Sanctum three times slowly and it sounds like… Sanctum

Blind faith

Look, I’m just gonna come out and say this song is getting old. Every episode featuring Sanctum is the exact same thing with different lines. Can we please move on from it, already? Yes, we know the COG want Russel dead, and the adjusters will go to extreme lengths to free Russel and the prisoners are background noise.

I did appreciate Nelson stepping in to try and save the girl, though. Still doesn’t save the fact that it’s repetitive. The Sanctum plotline is really struggling to take shape and I hope it happens soon. Dramatic eyeroll.

At least in the drought of a desert, you can always count on Murphy. “…I say we live and let die.” Typical cockroach line, right, but it’s ironic when he’s the one to step up, even if it is for Emori. Under the magnifying glass it’s the exact same plot as episode 1 and 3. He hesitates to take action, and eventually becomes the hero.

I mean, he saved that poor kid from being burned alive. Can you imagine sacrificing your own child in such a horrific away? Cults are beyond whacked, and, unfortunately, it’s reality that cult members are so blinded by their faith that they do not see rhyme or reason.

How did Murphy fail that test? I didn’t. When Trey named the four pillars, I thought, isn’t rejoice one of them? Surely, a cockroach would have smelled that trap a mile away.

Indra the great

Can we just give a massive round of applause to Adina Porter!!! That powerhouse walk vibrates strength and majesty, damn, she should be a false god, I wouldn’t dare threaten her with or without an army.

Three little words was all it took for her to recognize evil. “There’s a spider on your shoulder.” Smooth. Too bad she can’t kill him. Why not, how many of the faithful are left to cause an uproar? Wonkru doesn’t know it’s Sheidheda, they won’t care, the COG will fall in line and the prisoners will be happy as long as they get their compound. Sorry, I don’t get it and I don’t understand why she doesn’t tell anyone. Someone please explain?

Granted, JR Bourne as Russel is way better, but I still don’t understand his actions. I hope they explore and explain him more, because he still feels flat unless he knows something of this final war. I’m hoping these two storylines align soon since it’s really driving a wedge between me and my love for the show.

Shipwreck

I’ll start with the easy stuff, Murphy, Emori and the perfect dress gets a heart eye emoji from me. They are so damn cute this season, can they please live happily ever after in the palace?

Octabriel vs Levittavia

Now, I enjoy Levitt fangirling over Octavia. I feel like he has a deep sense of her through her memories. If I have to root for an underdeveloped relationship, it will have to be one where the characters share thoughts and experiences even if it is through a sick, sci-fi procedure.

On the other hand, Gabriel and Octavia have immense chemistry, two seconds of them together bends my mouth into an “Aah, cute” pout. This will also add some approval and representation for mixed racial relationships.

I really don’t mind either way as long as they make me care through showing and not telling.

Bellarke

So, if my theory is correct, and Bellamy does end up on Nakara, Bellarke will encounter each other quite soon. Bellamy won’t be himself though, but he might pretend to be Bellamy to win Clarke’s co-operation. Is there hope for Bellarke yet?

Echo is now trotting a dangerous path and Bellamy might be pledged to a cause, so I doubt there will be a happy ending for Becho. Since 7x01 I’ve been thinking that the writers might want to develop something between Clarke and Gaia but if they are separated, is there enough time? Guess we’ll see.

Samsung Galaxy Note series

As ever, only opt for a Note if you're going to make use of the S Pen stylus and consider the S20 Ultra if you want S Pen compatibility but without it being built in.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 offers a similar design to the Note 10 it succeeds, but it opts for a flat display and changes the camera housing on the rear to a more pronounced offering. There's also a 'glasstic' rear instead of glass but the overall design is lovely and neat.

The camera system is the same as what you'll find in the Galaxy S20 and S21 so it should deliver great things, and while the display sticks to a 60Hz refresh rate and there's no microSD support again, if you're looking for a phone with an integrated stylus then there's little better than the note-taking potential of this phone.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra

The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra sits at the top of the Galaxy Note series and it offers some of the best technology Samsung has to offer. It has a similar design to the Note 10+ but changes things up in the rear camera housing as well as the camera make up. A similar offering to the S20 Ultra is on board but with a laser sensor to help with the zoom - which has dropped to 50X instead of 100X.

After nearly 10 years at the cutting edge, the Samsung Galaxy Note series is still on top of its game. Yes, it's easy to see the Note 20 Ultra as "just another Note" - but that's because it's got so much right.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 offers a cleaner design than the S10 range with vertical rear camera setup and a centralised punch-hole front camera.

It was the first Note device to offer a smaller screen but it retains all the S Pen performance of the other models. A few compromises have been made, such as a lower resolution display and no microSD support, but the Note 10 is a great option for those that have always wanted a Note but may have found it too big. There's the option of 4G and 5G models too.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10+

Dimensions: 162.3 x 77.2 x 7.9mm, 196g, IP68 Display: 6.8-inches, 3040 x 1440 (498ppi), dual edge Super AMOLED Cameras: 16MP + 12MP + 12MP + Depth; 10MP front Storage: 256GB/512GB, microSD support (up to 1TB) Battery: 4300mAh

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ has the same design as the Note 10 but on a larger scale. It also ups the rear camera lenses to four, adding a depth sensor and it increases the screen resolution and size too.

The S Pen stylus and its gesture controls are great, while the huge screen and neat punch hole camera are everything you'd hope for from the Note series. There's also smooth and speedy operation, making the Note 10+ a fabulous handset. Like the standard Note 10, there are 4G and 5G options.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite

Dimensions: 163.7 x 76.1 x 8.7mm, 199g Display: 6.7 inches, 2400 x 1080 (394ppi), Super AMOLED Cameras: 12MP + 12MP + 12MP; 32MP front Storage: 128GB, microSD Battery: 4500mAh

The Note 10 Lite arrived in January 2020 and is an entry to the Note range that reflects what Samsung tried to do with the S10e - have a cheaper model that still retained a premium name.

It's no slouch with an Exynos 9810 octa-core platform underpinning everything and it only features a few corner cuts as opposed to the main Note 10 models. It's also bigger than the standard Note 10, but slightly smaller than the Note 10+.

It doesn't, however, quite have the specs to compete with the S10 Lite.

Samsung Galaxy A Series

Samsung also offers a wide range of A models, which might be worth considering depending on what you want from your smartphone. There's some overlap with Galaxy S phones, especially at the top end.

Samsung Galaxy A90 5G

Dimensions: 164.8 x 76.4 x 8.4mm, 206g Display: 6.7-inches, 2400 x 1080 (393ppi), Super AMOLED Cameras: 48MP + 5MP + 8MP; 32MP front Storage: 128GB, microSD support up to 512GB Battery: 4500mAh

The Samsung Galaxy A90 5G has a large display with a small waterdrop notch at the top and a triple vertical camera on the rear, neatly positioned in the top left corner. It's also Snapdragon 855, so this is flagship grade, even if it is 2019 flagship grade.

There are some excellent features onboard this device, not just a lovely design and build quality but a triple rear camera, an under-display fingerprint scanner and 5G.

Samsung Galaxy A80

Dimensions: 165.2 x 76.5 x 9.3mm, 220g Display: 6.7-inches, 2400 x 1080 (392ppi), Super AMOLED Cameras: Rotating 48MP + 8MP + HQVGA Storage: 128GB, no microSD support Battery: 3700mAh

The Samsung Galaxy A80 has a huge, uninterrupted display thanks to the automatic slide up rotating camera. We weren't 100 per cent sold on the rotating mechanism's durability, but the A80 is a lovely looking device with some great features.

There are some excellent specs under its hood, including plenty of RAM, a battery that will likely see you through the day, as well as an under-display fingerprint sensor, bringing lots of flagship features for less money than the flagship Galaxy devices.

Samsung Galaxy A71

Dimensions: 163.6 x 76.0 x 7.7mm, 179g Display: 6.7-inches, 2400 x 1080 (392ppi), Super AMOLED Plus Cameras: 64MP main + 12MP ultra wide + 5MP macro + depth sensor; 32MP (f/2.2) front Storage: 128GB, microSD support up to 1TB Battery: 4500mAh

The Samsung Galaxy A71 was announced at the start of 2020, essentially an update for the A70. That brings with it newer hardware, but similar core specs. There's the shift to Infinity-O for the display, with a punch hole rather than the notch of the A70. There is also a 5G version in some regions.

That's joined by a higher resolution rear camera, going after the megapixels in this mid-range device. If you love the S10 range but you can't justify the price tag, the A71 is half the price with plenty to love.

Samsung Galaxy A51 5G

Dimensions: 158.9 x 73.6 x 8.7mm, 187g Display: 6.5-inches, 2400 x 1080 (405ppi), Super AMOLED Cameras: 48MP main + 12MP ultra-wide + 5MP depth + 5MP macro; 32MP (f/2.2) front Storage: 128GB, microSD support up to 1TB Battery: 4500mAh

There's a few small differences between the Galaxy A51 and the Galaxy A71 models, but overall this is an update on the A50 model, with a larger display, increased resolution on the cameras and a larger battery capacity.

It's still a mid-range device, but it is available with 5G in some regions. The base level of storage is generous with microSD expansion and a there's a nice punch hole display too.

Samsung Galaxy A41

Dimensions: 149.9 x 69.8 x 7.9mm, 152g Display: 6.1-inches, 2400 x 1080 (431ppi), Super AMOLED Cameras: 48MP main + 8MP ultra wide + 5MP depth; 25MP front Storage: 64GB, microSD support up to 512GB Battery: 3500mAh

The Samsung Galaxy A41 updates the A40, moving to a 0.2-inch larger display with an under-display fingerprint scanner and a largwer battery. It keeps the Infinity-U display, so there's a water drop notch at the top, rather than the punch hole that you'll find on the A51.

There's a step-down in the number of cameras from the A51, missing out on the macro camera, but otherwise the A41 offers a nice compact Samsung handset.

Samsung Galaxy A21s

Dimensions: 163.7 x 75.3 x 8.9mm, 192g Display: 6.5-inches, 1600 x 720 (270ppi), TFT LCD Cameras: Quad rear 48MP (f/2.0) main + 8MP (f/2.2) ultra wide + 2MP (f/2.4) depth + 2MP (f/2.4) macro; 13MP front (f/2.2) Storage: 32GB, microSD support up to 512GB Battery: 5000mAh

The Samsung Galaxy A21s has a huge display with a punch hole selfie camera in the top left corner, a huge battery that should more than see you through the day and a quad camera on the rear in a camera housing that resembles the more expensive S20 range.

There's a physical fingerprint sensor on the rear and microSD support for storage expansion too. The resolution isn't the highest, nor is the internal storage but for the price, the A21s could be a good option for those that want a Samsung with a big screen and big battery.

Samsung Galaxy A21e

Dimensions: 147.4 x 69.7 x 8.4mm, 141g Display: 5.8-inches, 1560 x 720 (296ppi), TFT LCD Cameras: Dual rear 13MP (f/1.9) main + 5MP (f/2.2) ultra wide; 8MP front (f/2.0) Storage: 32GB, microSD support up to 512GB Battery: 3000mAh

The Samsung Galaxy A21e doesn't have a punch hole camera like the A20s - instead opting for a waterdrop notch at the top - making it look a little more dated. There's a big enough display though, a dual rear camera and it still has a nice design for the price.

You get a little more with the A21s - especially in the case of the battery - but the A21e still has an ultra-wide angle camera on the rear to give you some interesting shots, as well as some software features for great selfies from the front.

Samsung Galaxy A10

Dimensions: 146.1 x 71.4 x 7.9mm, 157g Display: 6.2-inches, 1520 x 720 (271ppi), TFT LCD Cameras: 13MP (f/1.9, AF, FHD video), 5MP front (f/2.0) Storage: 32GB, microSD support up to 512GB Battery: 3400mAh

The Samsung Galaxy A10 is the cheapest A model device but it still has a huge display for its footprint, a large battery capacity that should easily see you through a day and then some and plenty of storage from the 512GB microSD support. It doesn't have a fingerprint sensor and it only offers a single rear camera and single front camera, but if you're after a cheap Samsung device with a nice design and basic specifications, the Galaxy A10 might be the one for you.

Samsung Galaxy Z series

The Samsung Galaxy Z series sits at the top of the Galaxy portfolio in terms of price, mainly down to their folding designs. The two latest models are the Galaxy Z Fold 2 and the Galaxy Z Flip. There's also the original folding device in the Galaxy Fold but it has had its issues so the newer model is likely the better option.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 succeeds the original Galaxy Fold, offering the same book-style design with a vertical fold but featuring a number of refinements, including a hinge redesign. There's also a larger external display on board and punch hole front cameras for a neater finish.

The Galaxy Z Fold 2 appears to have fixed some of the biggest issues with the original Fold so if you're after a folding smartphone and the latest innovation Samsung has to offer in terms of design, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 might be the one for you.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G is also a foldable smartphone but it folds horizontally rather than vertically like the Fold, resulting in a very cool clamshell design. A little like an older Galaxy S model folded in half. There is a 4G model with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ and a 5G model running the Snapdragon 865+.

The Z Flip 5G allows you to have a larger display but without that length in your pocket and the hinge design offers various viewing angles. There are some compromises in terms of camera and battery but for those after retro cool, the Z Flip could definitely be the Galaxy for you.

Hello! I'd like some advice on how to focus? I have this problem, that I realise in my third year of undergrad, that I get so jumpy when reading papers? Like, I'd sit down and try to read an article but my brain will jump at a word and then I'll open a new tab to search that up, without finishing the first paper. I also realise that when I'm writing essays, with given topics, I cannot focus on the topic and jump around and end up procrastinating, and that affects the quality of my writing.

Hello anon! Thanks for being patient in waiting for this answer!

Before I get into tips on how I personally deal with this, I highly recommend considering seeing your doctor about your mental wellbeing, because there may be something physiological underlying these issues (that may have just popped up, which happens!). The key to my suggestion is that you say it’s affecting the quality of moments in your life (eg. your work). It’s my personal philosophy that if something is negatively affecting the quality of any aspect in my life, then I definitely need to address it. Another way to see it: a 1 hour doctor visit changing your life for the better forever vs. all those hours wasted being unproductive and feeling miserable. And I don’t think you (or anyone) deserves the latter.

In addition, if the root of all this lies in something biological, then no amount of mindset changes or new habits will help (in fact, they may even just lead to more frustration if they don’t work).

I know going to the doctor is scary in the time of Covid, but tele-medicine is becoming more common now, so that’s an option you can look into!

Ok, now for small tips that have helped me stay focused on my task at hand. These are just what work for me, and may not work for everyone, but if something sounds intriguing to you, give it a try and see how it goes!

I have an inner voice that keeps me on track. It narrates what I need to do, when I need to do it. When a task gets overwhelming (like writing an entire PhD dissertation, which I just finished!), it talks me through a step-by-step guide, one point at a time. Like, “Ok, first, open up the file folder. Next, click on the document to open that up. Let’s focus on the edits on this paragraph first, and this paragraph only. Alright, click Accept Change...” stuff like that. It’ll take time though; that voice didn’t pop up immediately. To help your inner voice along, you may need to begin by talking out loud.

Related, I break down large overwhelming tasks, like writing an essay, into smaller bite-size mini steps. “Write a 5-page essay!” is ugh, no, horrible, can’t do it, brain gone. But, “Write down your thesis and 3 main supporting arguments first” is much easier to get the ball rolling. If you’re unsure of how to break a task, like writing an essay, into small doable steps, I recommend asking for advice from your professor, TA, campus writing resource, fellow classmate, friend, parent, etc.

Do the easy tasks first, like a warm-up for your brain. I personally find it helps get the ball rolling because I get to ride that high of having accomplished something, and I use it to build momentum towards my harder tasks. For example, when I get a wall of edits back from my PI on my dissertation, I click through the “Accept Changes” first (so the little minor edits), and then go and address larger tasks, like rewriting entire sections.

Block virtual distractions, like social media, with website blockers, or even hide your phone somewhere (or give it to someone to hold on to until your break, or until you’re done with a small task). This personally doesn’t work for me (not taking micro-breaks to check social media actually makes me less focused), but you could give it a try.

Here are some specific tips on how to read a paper efficiently (and ones regarding focusing near the end)

Have some background noise. My lab manager can’t focus on a task on hand properly unless she has some background music/show playing--that’s just how she works efficiently to keep from being distracted, and sometimes I’m the same way. Some days I feel like I have two parts to my brain--one trying to get stuff done and the other who is super fidgety and easily distracted. So sometimes I just need to preoccupy the fidgety part with white noise, music, background TV show/livestream/etc. This may be why some people work better in public spaces like libraries and cafe’s. I really like the RelaxMelodies app to create my own soundscape (you can mix and match sounds like rain, campfire, wind through trees, etc). Ambient-Mixer has a lot of great user-made mixes too, like this Sunday Brunch one.

Make sure your physical body is well-taken care of, and that includes a full belly, plenty of hydration, a good sleep schedule (or as good as you can get in college), a regular exercise routine, other health issues in check, etc. A severe lack of any of those things may diminish our brain’s ability to function properly, and thus focus. If food scarcity is a challenge anyone faces in college, some universities have university food pantries with free food for students. Here is also a free cookbook on how to eat well on $4/day.
