I made this art piece for my Theatre Stagecraft class. We had to create a new outfit for a previously existing character, and I choose Joy from Everything Everywhere All at Once!!! The work of Shirley Kurata is incredibly inspiring. 🐠✨

Finished tha movie. In retrospect I should have assumed it was going to be psychologically taxing to watch it with my mother cuz, well, yknow. You've seen the movie. Pensively looking out the window and sighing with my hands clasped behind my back
#it was an amazing movie im a whole year late (sorry) but i loved it to pieces#sometimes i just had to cry because i love good movies and certain shots just needed tears to follow them.#and the costume designer shirley kurata has become my icon... just stunning. designing for films like this would be a dream come true#new original works with compelling stories. visually rich. the ability to play with color and shape. cries n sobs
