I am obsessed with this fanfic called "Shinra Tensei" so this is a quick snippet of one of my favorite parts.

Sakura decides "fuck it, the life of a ninja is harsh and unfair" and leaves Konoha to end up right with the Akatsuki. She is written wonderfully, badass, and complex, truly the Sakura we deserve. The Akatsuki are written amazingly, and there is so much delicious Itachi content, I love it.

Big thank you to the author, who seems to be looking right into my subconscious and writing everything I have wanted.

Most anime fanfictions these days are like this.:

I'm bored so I present you this!:

Scenario 1:

Author: Adds a lot cliche shit, obvious shit, harem, bashing, barely to no world building, too fucking fast pacing, basic storytelling etc.

Readers (most): "Nice bruh, make more, love this shit, etc."

Scenario 2:

Author: Adds cliche shit but not much, puts a twist in things (can get dark), harem (but not a huge ass scale and has actual development), decent to amazing world building, excellent storytelling etc.

Readers (split): you know what split means

There's probably a few more but you what I mean... The way that most anime fanfictions are written these days is pretty disappointing. Especially to someone like me who's used to fanfiction.net and archiveofourown.org writing quality fanfiction.

I was a fanfiction writer back in 2009-2018. I ain't that well-known cause I keep switching accounts but what the ones I wrote are still and are still accumulating views (surprisingly). I stiil ain't going back, especially when more young people (I assume base on their immediate reactions) started reading my works.

I eventually quit with the rise of this new, somewhat a little close-minded readers, my friends did as well.

I still watch anime of course, only 5-6 though. And sometimes I would go check one of the new fanfiction platforms... Webnovel.

I read a lot fanfictions but just to see if there's any development, if not then I'll drop 'em. A few where amazing, some are decent to excellent, and most are... weird.

One of many words before writing a fanfiction: "Research"

The ones that are off putting though are truly just the readers and the author themselves.

A certain author be like:

Author: "Kaido couldn't take a Shinra Tensei. Mei Terumi can beat Kaido.

Me: Despite the fact that Kaido's physique literally makes him unkillable. Mei Terumi's water wouldn't even drown Kaido, he's too big! Unless she can make an entire lake or sea IN AN INSTANT, then she gonna killed in an instant.

One Piece characters either have "inborn" or "gained through training physiques" and in general are better than Narutoverse physiques!

Most readers be thirsty for fanfiction sex :/, hence:

Most readers: "Harem, get harem, [insert a girl or a bunch of girls]"

I don't understand anything anymore. Or maybe it's just "old fanfiction era me"... Nah. Probably not.

Do you have any headcanons: Hmm... too many. I write fanfics which is always canon based, so you may read them, hehe..,

Are you happy with the ending? What would you have done differently? Yes. Naruto became Hokage, and I was surprised that Sasuke’s alive. So the ending for SasuSaku is a bonus for me. I don’t have any complain about the conclusion, I respect the manga wholeheartedly. Maybe I love how Kishimoto didn’t waver about the other’s suggestions such as who’s heroine for the story, and who’s the person that Naruto should ended up with, I can say he stick to his guns until the end.

How do you feel about the new generation? I like Sarada and Cho Cho

Say something about your favorite character. Good and bad. I like how pure Sasuke is, he can be the worst or he can be the coolest guy, good thing is, he already found himself, he’s no longer a blank canvass like what Itachi said.

What would a child between your OTP look like? How would they behave as parents? Sarada. I guess sometimes Sasuke and Sarada teams up to make fun of Sakura,.. among the three, she wear her heart on her sleeve.

Say something genuinely nice about your NoTP. Don’t wanna talk about it...

Say something negative about your OTP. None.

Is there anyway you could be convinced to ship your NoTP? What would make you change your mind about the pairing? Oh common stop this, haha.

What makes you mad about the series? Sakura’s haters who jumped the bandwagon just to look cool, and Studio Pierrot at times...

If you could see anything happen in the series, what would it be? More of SS.

What would you say to Kishimoto if given the chance? “Sign my fan art please!” (Then I’ll cry at home staring at his signature for months lol)

OTP (explain why): SasuSaku - I just really liked that Sakura was always striving to attain a better future for their dear friend who was suffering so much. And that Sasuke, despite his internal struggle with his affliction, was still able to demonstrate that he cared about his friends, and that once the curse no longer had a hold of his heart, he was able to give Sakura such a meaningful expression of affection.

NOTP (be nice): NaruSaku - I’ll always see them as akin to siblings.

Do you have any headcanons: Oh I have a whole bunch tucked in my mind’s treasure chest. hahaha So I’ll just share one. i always have this hc that Sasuke and Sakura got married in Konoha. And while everyone that they invited are enjoying at the reception, they decided to sneak out and head to the Uchiha District. Sasuke leads Sakura to the Naka Shrine and down to the Uchiha secret meeting place beneath the shrine. Sakura wonders why they are there. Then Sasuke begins calling out to his father, mother, Itachi, Shisui, and everyone in his clan then proceeds to tell them “Meet Sakura Uchiha, the love of my life,my wife and the newest member and matriarch of our clan.,” Then he smiles at her that “smile that is only reserved to Sakura”. And as if it was a sign of them accepting her, the whole room lights up with those little orbs in the light.

Are you happy with the ending? What would you have done differently? Yes, I am happy with the ending. However, I feel that it was rushed. So if I have the chance to do it differently, I would have expanded the story and showed what everyone did post-war, making the manga at least 50 chapters longer before chapter 700. Also I would like to animate the entire epilogue novels and do them in chronological order. Also I would have done the following mid-story: (1) A Sakura Haruno arc dedicated only to her, which may include her parents, perhaps be a reincarnation of Indra’s wife, plus a major solo battle for her. Intensify her genjutsu skills, maybe showcase how well she is good with poisons, Sakura going to Shikkotsu Forest to learn Slug Sage Mode (2) An entire arc for each Rookie 9 character with a major fight (3) Sakumo Hatake backstory (4) More Indra and Ashura backstories (5)Explored more of Kaguya’s origins (6) Backstory of how Mei Terumi became Mizukage and how she was able to calm and reform the Hidden Mist from its bad reputation as the Bloody Mist (7) More Fugaku and Mikoto!! (8) More Team Taka moments (9) Kurenai active in battle (10) More Yugao and Anko Mitarashi 

How do you feel about the new generation? Overall, I like them. I love Sarada the most. She is an interesting character along with Mirai, Mitsuki, and Chocho.

Say something about your favorite character. Good and bad. Sasuke is both an intriguing character which makes him even more interesting. You can totally explore a lot about his character and you’ll still want more.

What would a child between your OTP look like? How would they behave as parents? Well we already have Sarada. But i would like to see her with long hair and when she’s a teenager she would be so curvy like her mom. I can see Sasuke and Sakura as strict parents especially when it comes to training.  But when they’re at home, I see them a s cuddly parents to Sarada.

Say something genuinely nice about your NoTP. Uhm, they are comrades. I’m glad Karin was with Sasuke during his dark times, at least someone looked out for him along with Juugo and Suigetsu. They may not have the intention of saving, at least they were there for him. And I’m happy she helped Sakura and Sasuke when Sarada was born.

Say something negative about your OTP. They still don’t have a panel kissing drawn by Kishi.

Is there anyway you could be convinced to ship your NoTP? What would make you change your mind about the pairing? Nope.

What makes you mad about the series? Fandom Wars and Studio Pierrot downplaying Sakura, Sasuke, and SasuSaaku.

If you could see anything happen in the series, what would it be? SS kissing, Sarada’s birth, SS travels,

What would you say to Kishimoto if given the chance? Thank you so much for making this masterpiece and touching our hearts with Naruto’s and everyone’s stories. You are a blessing to everyone. Please show us SS kissing and Sarada’s birth.

As the name implies, I write fanfic for a lot of different fandoms. My Ao3 is multifandom_fanfic_writer and you can find plenty of fics there.

My biggest fandoms are Naruto (I'm the author of the Akatsuki!Sakura story, Shinra Tensei, which is basically my life's work) and Hannibal. For Hannibal I've written a variety of fics: from cute to sad, a few kinky fics; and a variety of AU's.
