Sasuke Uchiha

He’s acting cool. He’s acting real cool. Dark and mysterious.

You’re throwing that off, but if you’ve got him wrapped around your finger, he can’t seem to bring himself to shake you off.

You’re like throwing off the dark and mysterious with your energy, so he’s gonna act indifferent, maybe even irritated.

Best believe that he clings onto you right back at home. I don’t take criticism on this take.

If you get jealous easy… good luck.

Now he’s not feeding in to these other girls minds that he could somehow care to look their way, but these girls STILL stare at him with heart eyes.

Cue him just walking away from them, telling you to come on already.

He’s not entertaining their bullshit, so you two can go where they will leave you both alone :)!

Shikamaru Nara

Complains, complains, complains again.

“What a drag” “you’re so troublesome”

He’s blushing though, don’t let him lie. It’s obvious.

He secretly finds comfort in your constant clinging. And the way you like to spend time with him. And be around him constantly. You must really like him. He’s secretly flattered.

He just can’t open up so he’s never gonna tell you that.

He’s not really the type that women are just falling at his feet, so you won’t have to worry about being jealous so much.

If a girl on a mission does get a little too close though, he WILL distance himself from her. Don’t worry.

He’ll complain if you step in for him to help get the girl away, but he’ll be grateful for the help (silently, bc out loud he’s saying he can handle it himself)

Kiba Inuzuka

I don’t know why people think Kiba is some player or fuck boy. So I want to go ahead and clarify, I don’t think he would be. I think he’s actually got nervous teen boy crushing energy, no matter his age.

He’s clinging to you too. Lmfao.

Literally you two are attached at the hip, arm, shoulder, whatever. Attached.

Akamaru is always with you two though, but who doesn’t love Akamaru?!

He gets jealous too.

You two are probably unbearable bc listen, hope for everybody’s sake you aren’t as jealous as he is.

If a man looks in your direction, he will whine for the rest of the night.

That being said, he is not accusing you of entertaining or doing anything, he’s just complaining about the guys audacity to even look in your direction.

Shino Aburame

DO NOT LET THIS MAN LIE TO YOU. He gets jealous.

Like petty kinda jealous. He’s a petty mf.

So you are not alone if you get jealous.

He’s also physically clingy behind closed doors, but ONLY behind closed doors.

He asks that you not hang off him like a koala in front of everybody, but he’ll perhaps hold your hand.

He’s clingy in a less physical way. He needs you to stay close to him most of the time, just be there. So if you like quality time, this the guy for you.

Back to jealously, this is the only reason I could ever foresee him being even a little toxic. He trusts you fully, but give a little bit too much attention to somebody and he’ll convince himself he’s like not your first choice and you forgot him like everybody else did.

So he’s more jealous than you, without a doubt in my mind.

Honestly, he takes time and effort to convince to settle down and get out of his own head.

Neji Hyuga

Not a PDA person. I think he might be willing to like hold hands. Accept a kiss on the cheek or something. But really, he wouldn’t be all TOO found of being literally clinged to.

However, he does like to have you around. So if you are just the clingy type in regards to being around them all the time, he’s okay with that.

He wants to be around you too.

He’s not the jealous type himself, and he probably won’t really notice that you’re jealous.

I don’t think he’d appreciate somebody other than you being all over him though, so you don’t have to worry much. He’ll tell a person straight up, no sugarcoating, to get away from him.

If you complain about somebody’s actions later, he’ll realize you were jealous. He’ll probably ask why if he told them off anyways. After a conversation, he’ll probably just reassure you that he will continue to tell people off.

Nobody touches him but you.

Rock Lee

HES SO MFING CLINGY

PHYSICALLY AND JUST IN GENERAL.

He talks about you all the time to everybody he can. He’s constantly telling people that you’re his partner. Bragging about you.

And since you’re clingy and he’s clingy, you’re probably right there by his side as he does this.

If for some reason, he doesn’t get a chance or remember to introduce you in some flamboyant, glamorous, extra way, and somebody tries to make a pass at him, he won’t notice they’re flirting unless it’s OBVIOUS.

So cue your jealously.

He would be the type to literally push somebody away and say some shit like “I’m flattered, but I have a gorgeous, amazing partner already.”

Sai Yamanaka

(I call him Sai Yamanaka bc it creates a bigger line for the name btw, he’s not married in this case)

He does not mind you constantly clinging to him or following him around. Not in the slightest.

That is because he likes you, so he wants to be around the person he likes, after all. (Sai, yall are dating. That’s obvious, you don’t have to say it)

He probably follows you around a lot because he thinks he’s supposed to. And also, he finds that he likes to be around you.

He might do something a book told him to, get too close to another person, paying no mind to any like reason it could be wrong. He didn’t mean it that way.

And since we’ve established you’re the jealous type, you’d have to explain to Sai that he can’t just get too close to other people like that.

Gaara of the Sand

He doesn’t mind the clinging, but he doesn’t have the time for it :/

When you can cling to him or follow him around without interfering with his focus and work, he’s perfectly okay with it.

And he’ll find himself wishing that when he’s busy, he wasn’t so you could be with him.

A lot of the girls in the village have a crush on him now that he’s kazekage, so you’re bound to be pretty jealous.

But Gaara doesn’t let these girls near him. He’s polite with them, but he’s not entertaining anything at ALL.

You don’t have to worry with him. He’s as loyal as can be.

At home, he’s clinging to you too. He’s touch starved.

And he loves to spend his free time with you.

Kankuro of the Sand

Cling to him in public like a koala. He’s not complaining. He’s BRAGGING.

PLEASE.

He’s the type to tease you about it, but if you break away from him because of it he’ll complain bc WHERE ARE YOU GOINGGG?

He would purposely make you jealous. Within reason. He will not disrespect your relationship to do so. But if he knows something simple could make you jealous, like giving too much attention to a stuffed animal, he will do it on purpose

“You wish this was you, huh?”

He’d like it if you wanted to just come sit in his workshop with him while he works on puppets. He’ll talk when he’s not like SUPER focused.

Some Abruame OCs!

It's Shino's birthday so I rushed to colour the lineart I commissioned from @calvin-arium!!

I have a bunch of other Aburame OCs (I have a master post about them here!) and I hope to do more eventually, but it was only right to start off with Shino and his closest family.

[CW: mentions of death and infant death, mention of homophobia]

Shikie is Shibi's father and the clan head at the time of my main Aburame fic, The Smell of the Rain (circa 2025, blank period). She was a young girl when the clan first joined Konoha under the impulsion of Kodama, her mother and the first hive-bearer. She became the clan head after her in her 50's. She is very much a shinobi of the old guard and has been alive through both the warring state period and the 70 years of global wars that followed. While she does, to a certain extent, support the Shinobi Alliance, she is also still very wary of its future, and has learned to secure the safety of her clan above any other matter. She has had to make sacrifices for it throughout her life, but knowing that her people are where they are today, alive and well, eases a lot of her regrets. (Although, of course, never all of it.) She and Shibi are very different in a lot of ways, but she is proud of him, and he will most likely be the one to inherit her place in the near future.

Yoshino was Shikie's second son and Shibi's younger brother. Very talented Shinobi from a young age, he was promoted to Chuunin during the first exam opening after the Second War, alongside his teammate Amanmori Nagomi. They kept working together a lot after that, working on combined attacks that used Yoshiki's hive as a catalyser and guide for Nagomi's Lightning Release. They started dating as teens, secretly at first, then shortly in front of Nagomi's family, who came from a civilian background with much different pressure surrounding relationships and bloodlines. He came out to his mother shortly before the Third War, who answered she couldn't, given the political context and the state of their clan at the time, be supportive of a childless union. Both young men were deployed together during the Third War, and died in the same battle.

Mahono was born to the Sarutobi clan, of Sarutobi Natsumasa, Hiruzen's older brother. She was a skilled Fire Release user, a technique she used both alone and in combination with chakra blades. She faced Shibi during their first Chuunin exam and overpowered him quite significantly (although, to his defence, the age difference did probably play against him). She still took note of his persistence and willingness to take risks in battle. They met again later and became sparing partners, him to improve his hand-to-hand combat, her to improve her options against wide-range techniques. She joined the Anbu in her late teens and he eventually first asked her out when he was 17 and her 20, a couple years before the Third War started. They had a first daughter shortly after the Third War, Yukatomu, who died from hive implantation-related complications during her first days of life, and then Shino a bit over two years later. She died on a mission when he was five.

The Inuzuka and Aburame Families

Tsume Age: 39 Occupation: Dog walker and trainer

Tsume had always wanted to be a vet -- unfortunately, her undiagnosed ADHD and eventual teen pregnancy got in the way of that. But she loves animals, she relates the best to dogs, and she was firm in her want to work with them for the rest of her life.

So at nineteen, with a fresh baby in a sling around her back, she started up a dog-walking business. Now she employs people under her (and still walks dogs of her own accord)

She's a rough soul, blunt and to the point, but loves her kids with her whole heart.

Hana Age: 20 Occupation: Student (veterinary science) and dog trainer

Hana often feels like the only person in her family who takes life seriously. Her mother is full of life, living impulsively and on the edge. And her little brother refuses to take his epilepsy seriously, instead choosing to ignore signs of it in favour of roughhousing with his friends.

She balances working as a dog trainer, after years of experience with her mother's business, and studying to become a vet, hoping to one day open a clinic that treats and trains medical assistant dogs, like Akamaru.

Having grown up close to (and eventually crushing on) Itachi, Hana still doesn't know whether to believe that he did what they say he did or not.

Kiba Age: 15 (birthday July 7th, turned 15 before the school year started) Occupation: Student, occasionally helps with Tsume's dog-walking business

Kiba was only five when he had his first tonic-clonic seizure, and it rapidly became something he had frequently. With medication it came mostly under control, but in his early teens it started to get harder and harder to keep on top of, and now he has a medical alert dog, Akamaru, who can tell when he starts having pre-symptoms and has him lie down.

Unfortunately for Akamaru, Kiba has other priorities. He takes after his mother in not taking life too seriously, and often favours just getting on with his day, rather than pause to rest when needed.

Shibi Age: 42 Occupation: Entomology professor (specialising in beetles)

Shibi, contrary to popular belief, has always been a very family-oriented man. When his sister died, he and his wife took in her son Torune without question -- and when his wife died shortly after his son Shino was born, he wasted no time in ensuring he could work from home and balance being a sole parent along with his career.

He, along with the rest of his family, has fairly poor vision along with light sensitivity, and so he wears prescription sunglasses most of the time. This also helps him avoid eye contact.

Shibi would stop at nothing to help his sons succeed in a world that isn't made for them.

Torune: Age: 20 Occupation: Student (entomology and medicine, focusing on venomous insects and treatments for their stings)

Torune has no memories of his biological parents, but he doesn't mind that so much. Shibi stood in for them and cared for him when nobody else could, and he got a little brother out of the deal, too.

Following in Shibi's footsteps in a lot of ways, Torune found a love for insects at a young age, and found himself drawn to the macabre side of poisons and venom that came along with them. Being autistic, along with the rest of his little family, he found it easy to lose himself in his study.

Torune was in the same year and classes as Hana, Fu, and Itachi growing up, and was shocked along with the rest of his classmates when Itachi did what he did.

Shino Age: 14 (birthday January 21st) Occupation: Student

Shino was lucky enough to make friends with Kiba at a fairly young age, and Hinata joined their little neurospicy crew a year or so later. Having someone by his side that was brave and headstrong made it a lot easier for Shino to exist in his quiet little shell, and while he frequently did have big emotions, they were mostly contained to whatever he could express using his AAC.

He's definitely gotten better at it though, and as his circle of friends has grown, so has his ability to communicate -- and his ability to recognise and act on his feelings.

Now, with a crush having entered the picture, Shino is going to do his best to make himself understood. Without Kiba's help.

Summary: Another 2020 wip, Kin doesn’t cheat but Shikaku is thinkin bout it- I gotta re read through it though.

Her back hit the cold concrete wall like a feather hitting the ground. Softly. Shikaku had placed himself in front of her, hands sprawled on the wall and head barely an eyelash away from hers. His breath smelt of the cherry blossom sake the two had been sharing just minutes before. They both knew that if she hadn't wanted him like this he wouldn't be. 

Because she didn't fear him or his intentions.

They both knew each other so well by now. Having known each other as teens. Having had plenty of nights drinking with one another- though none have ever come to this before.

”Kuku.” Kintsugi murmured as she forced her eyes away from his own. Not wanting to look at him directly believing- knowing if she did she’d become a hypocrite of her own words. ”You know we shouldn't.” Her sleeveless shoulders relaxed against the wall as the hair on her stood at attention. Waiting for the next course of action.

Shikaku stared at the bridge of her nose. He knew he shouldn't be so close to her, not like this. They were both married. Both important figures in the village even if they were on different platforms. But his lips continued to lear, bordering on colliding with hers. ”I know just.” He paused, catching his breath as the words came to him. ”Just give me a moment to imagine.”

And he did, he breathed the same air as her. Continuing to wonder if those lips would taste of peace or honey. He had wanted to know since that day the festival. But as luck would have it the prince of beetles stepped in. 

That night was ever so clear to him. He still remembers the first time he heard her laugh. One of the only times she's ever laughed. And it was all because of that bug.

But if it wasn't for that he would have never gotten together with his beautiful Yoshino.

                            Yoshino…

                                    Oh, Yoshino...

If she ever found out, even about this, it would break her. Let alone all the other times he has come so close to kissing a woman and succeeding in doing so unlike now. How many times had he done this? Shikaku’s mind wandered. How many times had he laid with another that was not his own? How many times has he inadvertently broken the heart of the woman he loved so dearly? The one he loved more than anything in this life. One of the people he would readily die for. 

And now here he was breaking his, hers, and one of his most beloved friends. All at once by being selfish once more. 

Are we ever going to be satisfied? Kintsugi. When will we finally fill that hunger we've had since youth? That very same need. Because this won't be it and we both know it. Shikaku contemplated these thoughts as they rolled through him like waves crashing amongst the shoreline.

They stood like that for only a moment. Until Shikaku slowly pulled back and laughed. ”Pst, I just wanted to see how faithful you were to that roach.” His heart raced in his chest like the day he met her. It had only been a minute at most! But to them, it felt like an eternity. 

As he pulled away she bent down to grab her coat. ”Idiot.” Kintsugi retorted. Disappointment swam through her flat delivery like a shark through the sand. Kintsugi couldn't lie to herself about this, about how she wanted him to kiss her, for her to kiss him. How she wanted to know the feeling of his lips on hers, to know if he would taste bitter or sweet. To know if their mixture together would be worth this tension. 

”Yeah...I know.” His voice sounded the same as hers. Shikaku turned his back to her. Going to grab the sake again from off the floor. ”Let’s have another, yeah?” He asked, tumbling forward as he picked the bottle up. Nearly knocking it all down.

He turned back towards her to see her putting her shoes back on by the door. ”Kin?” A sense of dread filled him. His mind is trying to calculate all the possible outcomes, all the possible things that could be done. But the alcohol was still in him and he couldn't think of a single damn thing that could save this.

She looked at him. Her brown eyes unusually hollow, as if she had just been drained of everything in her life, but her lips- those peach-colored lips held a smile that could bring back that very same life. ”Thank you for this evening Nara-Sama. It was a pleasure.” Voice dull. As soon as she got her heels back on she bowed to him. Grabbed her purse then left. 

Once she walked out that door she had on her usually joyous air. But he? He was still standing there, sake in his hand and his mind still running.
