Dontis: The Incubus & The Vampire | A Queer Audio Drama

The world today is not as it was, and creatures born in shadow were forced to suffocate in it. Among them was Dontis, a young incubus focused only on survival, but an unforeseen encounter with a monster like him may change his course for the future.

I have always wanted to create something like this, and it's finally here! To say I had fun making it would be a huge understatement. This audio cemented how much I love storytelling, and it challenged me in ways that motivates me to learn more and get better in this field.

Dontis was the best character to experiment with, and as I had already written most of this backstory, fleshing it out was a pleasure, and hearing everything come to life—from the soundscape to the amazing actors—was somewhat surreal to me despite having made X Listener audios for so long.

I'm so happy that I managed to do this, and I'm proud of the outcome. I hope that this is the first of many, but I'd love to know what you all think of it!

All of these artists have amazing stories to tell and Icey is one of my favorites! Listeners are not always the typical plain Jane one dimensional characters that you get in non series stories. They have a lot of depth and backstory that is beautiful and tragic. He also has amazing collab partners including Jozzer (who is a semi regular in one series) & DarlingStrawb. Icey is so underrated and talented!! Please go check him out!! have you heard of ShiningArmorASMR? (not the mlp) he’s an incredible voice actor and a fantastic storyteller! he’s also has a kickstarter for a plushie of one of his well known characters, mayhaps you could consider pledging?

Yeah, I've heard of him. I listened through a couple of his playlists (Steam Hearts and the Ellion/Knight series). He's pretty good! I don't think I want to pledge for a plushie though lol.

Sorry for not posting in awhile here! Things have been busy but!! Awhile back I posted a comic I did for youtuber Shining Armor ASMR and mentioned that my fan character Allen got put into his Steam Hearts series - today wrapped up the finale of the first of hopefully many seasons! It was amazing and I'm so happy to have contributed even the tiniest bit to it all. Ellis is an amazing story writer and voice actor and Eggsmr did an amazing job bringing my boy to life. I couldn't be happier.

I might post some of the comics/art I've done of Allen that haven't left Ellis' server so others who are not there can see them all.

ok, so there's this YouTuber called Shining Armor ASMR & he's so fucking good!

he makes this amazing videos that have stories & characters in them & his voice is just so perfect & lovely (he's got a Cockney accent, I think)

he's made a few series & they are all drop-dead amazing! The two ones that I've been watching are My Knight (which I finished) & Steam Hearts (which is ongoing) & I am always impressed. On the cliffhanger episodes, my jaw is ALWAYS on the floor & i'm counting the days until the next episode (the most recent Steam Hearts episode ended on a MASSIVE cliffhanger & im just alkddsfhuifre) & I'm never disappointed
