The Crew GUYS from Ultraman Mebius pose for their class photo.
I miss the Ultra shows having casts this big, with field teams that actually have enough members to be a team.

The Cuddle Pile
Mebius likes to cuddle with his friends, alright?
AO3: https://archiveofourown.org/works/29785356
The first time it had happened, Mebius had had a long day. It hadn’t really been anything in particular, just a bunch of small things that all added up, resulting in him being far more tired than normal when he ended the day.
As such, he’d sort of just curled up that evening. Somehow, through actions that no one was entirely clear of, this resulted in most of the former members of Crew GUYS awakening in something of a pile. Marina definitely recalled seeing Mebius try and hug Ryu after they had both fallen asleep and it certainly wasn’t unusual for people to gravitate towards each other in their sleep. It was usually because someone got cold and it was usually towards Mebius, who for one reason or another - whether because he had the ability to set himself on fire, thus making him much warmer than other or because Ultras were just warm and Crew GUYS either didn’t gain that part or just were colder, was unclear. (Or maybe the reason for it altogether was just that Mebius was very… cuddly. No one was going to deny his “cheer up” cuddles weren’t oh so very wonderful and comforting. Even George could only complain a bit whenever he woke up and found Mebius curled near him.
After that “incident” as George immediately began to call it - everyone else was pretty sure he was just a bit embarrassed - they found themselves creating a cozy area in the corner of the living room. Konomi immediately dubbed it the “Cuddle Corner” to little surprise.
The Cuddle Corner got used in varying degrees of frequency, mostly in some way by Mebius, who was delighted by it. It wasn’t unusual for him to curl up there when he was tired, and then someone would join him. Usually, if Ryu joined, it was because Mebius partially dragged him to, if Marina, Teppei, or Konomi joined, it was because they’d decided they wanted cuddles and willingly went, Teppei with a bit of a flustered expression, the first few times. Sakomizu was always a bit more awkward to involve in the cuddling, though since he was no longer they’re captain, whatever might have stopped Mebius from finding a way wasn’t present. George only ever cuddled if he was effectively dragged to do it, which Mebius was particularly good at, even if he was met with some minor protest - they all knew that George really didn’t mind, he was just a bit embarrassed by Mebius’ open affection. By pretty much anyone’s affection, actually.
They’d all gotten used to Mebius’ particularly affectionate ways, they’d been used to it to some degree on Earth, but now that they were all together much more, there was a lot more of Mebius’ brand of affection. Hugs, cuddles, laughs and smiles were all common when Mebius was around. He wasn’t shy when it came to his friends - they’d seen how he was with Taiga even, someone who he may have assisted in with his training, but was nevertheless someone Mebius was close with. Mebius and Taiga were rather close, and that may have simply been because Taiga’s father had been Mebius’ teacher, but in the end the bond they had was something the two had ultimately made on their own. (Although Mebius was still of the opinion that Taiga shouldn’t be so resistant to making friends and spending time with people his own age, but that was another story entirely.)
The point of it all was, Mebius was a very affectionate person. His friends were fine with that, they all - whether they admitted it or not - enjoyed it, to some degree or another. (It would be a lie to say that they all didn’t enjoy their welcome back hugs they were given when they’d once more saw Mebius, after awakening in the Land of Light.)
(Though they were all pretty sure that someone had a picture of all or most of them sprawled together in the Cuddle Corner. It might have been Taro, but it was more likely someone else. Marina and Konomi often threw ideas around, Teppei just meeped, George groaned at the thought that someone might have proof of the cuddles, Sakomizu chuckled, Ryu just shrugged while Mebius smiled.)
...
(Though none of them knew it, it was actually Zoffy, who had only come over to get the last page of a report that had gotten separated from the rest from Mebius. He’d decided it was quicker to just go to Mebius’ house to ask for it than to wait until tomorrow. When he’d arrived, he’d Mebius and his friends in a corner of pillows and blankets, all piled together. Deciding not to disturb them, Zoffy simply found the last page of the report and was going to leave. Still it was a nice sight, to see Mebius so relaxed with people he cared about so much and it was rather… sweet. So Zoffy took a quick picture before he left. He’s yet to say a word of it to anyone.)

Ultra Hero Fact File 2: Zoffy Orphaned during the war with the Emperor Seijin, Zoffy's main father figure was his late father's best friend, Ken. Because of Ken's leadership role in the Space Garrison, Zoffy joined up by the time of the first Belial War. By the time he was 25,000 years old, Zoffy was a decorated veteran, having received numerous Star Marks in commendation for his efforts. Around this time he retrieved the fatally wounded Ultraman, leaving Hayata Shin behind. For this he became the Captain of the Space Garrison, second only to the Father of Ultra. As number 1 of the Ultra Brothers, Zoffy saw both Ace and Taro off. Once he came to rescue Ace, bringing the Ultra Converter with him. Later though he was captured on Planet Golgotha, and later defeated by Hipporito Seijin. After the defeat of Grand King, Zoffy would come to earth after Taro was defeated by Birdon. After using the Ultra Frost on Taro, he sent him home to recover, and fought Birdon himself. His Z Ray was no use and he was defeated, Taro saving the day and him home to be restored. He later joined Taro on earth during the attack by the Temperor Seijin, and was the first to face Tyrant on Uranus. At some point he used the M87 Ray to defend earth from invaders, witnessed by SSSP member Sakomizu Shingo. He imparted a message to the man about how they would defend mankind until they were ready, which Sakomizu took to heart in forming GUYS. Sometime after the U-Killersaurus incident, Zoffy merged with Sakomizu in order to assist Mebius in his final battle. Centuries later, Zoffy was involved in the Belial Crisis and the repelling of the Darkclops invasion. He was turned into a Spark Doll in the Dark Spark War. When Taro prepared to return to aid Ginga, he granted him his power to help fight. Some time after that he was restored. At some point in the history of the O50 universe, Zoffy lead 6 other Ultramen in sealing Maga-Orochi and the Maga Kaiju. Later, he worked with Seven, Jack, Zero and Orb to defeat Reibatos. In the Neos Universe, Zoffy oversaw the joining of Neos with Genki Kagura, and ordered him to earth. He later met Neos and Seven 21 as they left earth.

Eternity Loves the Creations of Time (Chapter 2)
Chapter 2: Sakomizu
Anyway, the first chapter is probably the longest chapter here. I think the last one or two are a bit longer than the rest, but I wasn’t sure what to do for most of these.
AO3: https://archiveofourown.org/works/28888881/chapters/70903641
Sakomizu had lived a long life - really longer than he should have. And though a long life doesn’t necessarily equate to a good one, his life was good too. So when he finally died, in a peaceful enough sort of way. He’d skirted the edge of death enough times that he was prepared for it. He wasn’t really sure what he was expecting when he died, but somehow, he was pretty sure the floaty, dream-like, state he was currently in wasn’t it.
There was something that was sort of tugging at him, he wasn’t sure much about it, though. It seemed familiar, certainly, but he couldn’t quite place where. He followed it and followed it, and soon enough he was somewhere… unfamiliar.
And now he was on the floor.
Well, this is certainly turning out to be rather… interesting.
---
Time was still a myth to Ryu. He had absolutely no clue how long it had been since he’d landed on the floor of Hikari’s lab. It could have been months, it could have been years. He really didn’t know, though it didn’t exactly feel like it had been very long, not that a feeling meant much. Mebius helped him get used to the change, which was certainly an experience.
Still, they had little idea how he’d ended up here and like this. It wasn’t… bad, he was glad to be able to be with Mebius again. But it was strange. From what Ryu had gathered, a human just… becoming an Ultra like this, wasn’t normal. But they had no real idea how or why it had happened.
For the first few days, Ryu was pretty sure he looked like a lost puppy or something, almost always following Mebius around. Part of that was because Mebius kept grabbing his hand and leading him around. It really didn’t take long to encounter someone who didn’t know about Ryu - given only Mebius, Hikari, and himself seemed to have known.
It was Taro, who had clearly heard from Taiga a few days before about Ryu, “Mebius,” Taro greeted, then turned to Ryu, “And you must be his brother.”
Ryu was pretty sure his eye twitched, or whatever that looked like, “I’m not Mi-ebius’ brother,” While he was certainly close with Mebius, somehow being called his brother just felt a bit… weird.
Beside him, Mebius waved his hands, “Oh no,” He said, “We’re not brothers!”
Taro tilted his head, “Oh, I’m sorry, Taiga had mentioned that… He must have been mistaken.”
Mebius just shook his head, “It’s fine, just a misunderstanding.”
“It’s not that big of a deal,” Ryu shrugged, and he was being rather honest.. Though he was initially annoyed, his annoyment died pretty quickly. That’s how his annoyance went nowadays, less conflict engaging and more brief bursts.
There was a brief, awkward silence, before Taro spoke up again, “Then he’s, uh, a friend of yours?”
That was plenty enough to make Mebius light up, “Oh yes!” Ryu could see how excited about the topic Mebius was. “Ryu’s a great friend!”
“Ryu?” Taro echoed, “Ah, didn’t you have a friend on Earth also named that?”
Ryu wondered how much Taro thought about the difference in the concepts of coincidence and relation. Then again, maybe sharing a name with someone on Earth was something of a common occurrence? Ryu really didn’t think so, given of all the names of Ultras that he’s heard, only four or five really sounded like an actual name someone on Earth might have.
Regardless, Mebius wasted no time in explaining what happened, Taro listening the entire time. It didn’t take very long to explain what had happened, because it was ultimately not that much and they knew very little about what happened.
Thankfully, at least for Ryu’s sake, not much else had happened since. Which is why he was sitting now, watching as Mebius was doing some training. He was technically resting (he’d taken a bit of a tumble while trying to work on moving around while flying the other day and Mebius refused to let him continue practicing until his bruise healed. Ryu wasn’t particularly happy about it, but didn’t feel like arguing with Mebius about it.). It was certainly interesting to watch Mebius train, for the first few minutes, at least, but at this point, Ryu was pretty bored.
He could explore, sure, but he was really in the mood to get lost, again. That was what happened last time he tried to explore on his own (It had been awkward). So he just sat there and waited, not really expecting something to happen.
And then, something happened, “Mebius,” Zoffy pokes his head in, quickly drawing attention to himself as Mebius paused his training, “I’ve found another one of yours.”
“Huh?” Mebius wondered aloud, “‘Another one of mine’?”
“Yes,” He affirmed as he practically dragged another Ultra into the room, then left. The Ultra seemed familiar, though Ryu couldn’t place where or why, because he didn’t look familiar. It was just that he felt familiar. The Ultra looked a bit confused, though it didn’t take him long to get his bearings.
In a pleasant tone, with a smile, the Ultra spoke, “Hello Mebius, it’s been a while.”
Mebius had that shocked look on his face, the same one that he had when Ryu had appeared. That was fair, as Ryu was pretty sure he had something of a shocked look on his face, as he too recognized that voice. Really, how could either of them not?
“Captain?” Mebius asked, sounding almost as though he couldn’t believe it. Which wouldn’t be much of a surprise, though at the same time Mebius really shouldn’t be surprised. Then again, once is odd, twice is coincidence. If it happens one more time it’s a pattern.
Ryu groaned, “So this is just weird, right?”
In a way that only Sakomizu ever seemed to manage to do, he added, “It’s good to see both you and Ryu again.” Ryu couldn’t help but wonder how Sakomizu managed to recognize him so fast.
“Let me guess,” Ryu began, “You died, was in a floaty state for a while, and then woke up here?”
“More or less,” Sakomizu hummed, “Coming out of that by landing on the floor was an interesting experience.”
“Tell me about it.”
Mebius spoke up, coming out of his thoughts, “I wonder why both of you became Ultras and appeared here?” He wondered, “And you both were following a tugging feeling.”
Ryu shrugged while Sakomizu thought about it for a moment, “There must be some kind of connection,” He said, “But we don’t have enough information to determine what.”
“There can’t be that many things that could have brought us here.” Ryu frowned, “I mean, we’ve had limited interaction with Ultras.”
“But have we?” Sakomizu asked, “All of the former members of Crew GUYS have had a lot more than most have, just by working with Mirai - or Mebius, rather. Though outside of Mebius, we’ve all still had more interactions with Ultras than the average person.”
