This article also includes a section on why SH3 being made now would be great, so that’s nice to see 🙂

Sherlock Holmes 3

I need Sherlock Holmes 3 to open with a setup of Watson seeing Holmes in increasingly ridiculous disguises everywhere he goes in town and thinking "I've finally snapped, I'm losing it. this is it. Mary your husband is insane."

Then when he figures out it actually is Holmes, he immediately throws hands. They start it, but Mary finishes it. She gets over the initial shock quickly because they're making a scene, and by heaven, she's not gonna stand for that. She basically drags them home by the ears, kids in tow, and sits everyone down at the breakfast table like nothing ever happened, but like

Watson is glaring. he has a black eye. Holmes is eating nonchalantly with a split lip and a ripped shirt like "can you pass the jam" and the kids just. hand it to him. Mary pours tea. the kids look at Watson. he doesn't move. is he catatonic? Mary butters the kids' toast, asks them how school was yesterday, did the teache--

"YOU ALWAYS DO THIS TO ME--"

"John, please don't raise your voice in front of the children."

"An excellent rule, madam. If I may add--"

"You were DEAD, I SAW IT, I told tHE CHILDREN you were DEAD"

So I have heard about this movie news for 3 or 4 times this year, from different perspectives, and they give the exact same answer, like ‘hoping’, ‘going to do’, ‘we are not giving up on it’ etc

And now Susan Downey even gives a total new definition of the word “A PRIORITY”, you told me that the movie that delay for more than 10 years is a PRIORITY to your company??? You know how ironic is that?

To be honest, if you don’t want to make it at all, just admit it and it is ok, it is better than you keep lying to all the fans that are waiting for this sequel.

Sherlock Holmes 3 is listed again in PW? It’s not dead?! WHATS GOING ON?!

Looks like Sherlock Holmes 3, with Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law, might not be happening after all. I'm not sure that's a bad thing. I thought the second movie was a little weak, even though a lot of people really liked it. Still, it would have been interesting to have seen what they did with it.

"Very well, then."

Holmes' light tone causes Watson's smirk to slip. He can't shake the feeling: he done messed up.

Then, Holmes steps up on Watson's writing desk and tumbles out of the open window.

Watson swears under his breath at the dramatics, but doesn't look to see what's become of him. No, no. He's not looking. That's what Holmes wants him to do, the theatrical bastard. He stews in his chair and folds his arms. He crosses his legs. Five seconds pass. Then ten.

He violently jumps out of his chair and sticks his head out the window.

Below, two stories down, is a horse-drawn cart full of piled hay. Across the street, Holmes is brushing off his lapels, and wafting bits of hay float behind him in a trail. He strides off with purpose and speed.

Watson shuts the window. Then he growls and reaches for his coat.

Today I was in a very Sherlock Holmes mood and I was thinking all day about Sherlock Holmes 3. I think we can predict the begining of the third movie from the Game of Shadows.

According to GoS, Sherlock Holmes was hiding in Watson's house, and the couple was going to Brighton after a few hours. So I think he will reveal himself after they come back. Then, there is another question:"Will Watson be delighted when he knows that Holmes is alive, or will he be furious and choke Sherlock(like in the train😅), because he didn't reveal himself earlier?" I think he will probably be delighted, because in GoS when Watson saw that someone sent him the breathing mechanism(as I call it), he smiled from the thought that Holmes might be alive. So, I think if he sees Holmes, he will be extremely happy. But it is my deduction from the end of GoS. He can get angry too.

This is about how Holmes revealed himself to Watson. Lets talk about Moriarty. I think if Sherlock survived the fall even though he had a wound, then Moriarty would survive too. Also it was said in the end that both bodies weren't found, so probably he is alive.

Also, as one of the producers said, Irene Adler won't be in Sherlock Holmes 3. To be honest, I am kinda happy, because she was distracting Sherlock Holmes from Watson(so sorry if I offended someone). Without her, Holmes will give more attention to Watson, and the probability of Johnlock being canon will be higher.

I wish Sherlock Holmes 3 comes at least in 2024-2025. But I am ready to wait a decade, just don't say that deadly word "CANCELED". If you say that scary word, all loyal fans,including me, will have a heart attack😵
