Anyone else notice how the Oblivion Wabbajack looks like a dark purple version of the Priests of Order staffs in the Shivering Isles? I know it’s probably because they reused the model, but here’s my in game theory.
Early on into the Sheogorath/Jyggalag curse, the first Priest of Order to turn to Sheogorath gave the madgod their staff as a sign of good will, but the item of Order wasn’t to the Madgod’s liking, as it was the antithesis to his being so he used his new (kinda old, but new since he was just transformed into Sheo) powers to corrupt the item and turning it into the staff we all know and love.
Just a theory/headcannon, don’t take it too seriously

This has probably been said before and written about before but the tragedy of Miraak and the Last Dragon Born being alive at the same time and therefore Miraak being the only one currently alive that could possibly understand exactly how LBD is feeling and thinking but they don't get a chance in cannon to really talk to each other. LBD could have incredibly interesting dialog with him about their similarities but Miraak can't leave if he doesn't kill them and they can't allow him to enslave the world they have been ordained by the gods to protect. By all means they should have been allowed to be on the same side but once again the characters that are by all rights demi gods are still just playthings to higher beings. And that's one thing both of them hate and if you live long enough you will start trying to find ways to change it.
On the flip side its interesting to imagine LBD being violently opposed to Miraaks ideology, they have similar situations but LBD has found joy and love and created a life and family of their own in Tamriel, imagine a dragon born that loves Tamriel and the people in it with all their heart and even if there wasn't a prophecy or a magic blood thing they still would have tried to save this world with the same ferocity anyway. Even LBDs who are immoral to their core, ones that chose to be violent assasins and thieves and split their soul into a thousand pieces, have people they want to protect. If that means killing Alduin, so be it, if that means battling the only other person who will ever understand them, then they'll do it.
Miraak didn't have that i dont think. And therefore it doesn't matter what happens to the world, he want to be free of shackles hes had since before he was even born. Maybe the Last Dragon born really tries to help him, maybe they try to show compassion and get him out, but it ends up being for nothing, hes killed anyway. They couldn't save him. They leave and end up back where they had been reading the final book. Devastated in every sense of the word and all they can do is look to whoever accompanied them and break down.

My #1 post of 2022
Weird headcannons about lycanthropy no one asked for.
Mostly about lycanthropy and the weirdness that comes with being a werewolf, its more than likely slightly lore-unfriendly but these are for fun so who cares.
-lets start with the obvious, they got some weird wolf and dog mannerisms, eat more meat than usual, they growl instinctively at people they get a bad vibe from, that sort of thing.
-theres also some things that carry over into their non-beast form, sharper teeth, better hearing and scent, the companions (at least in the circle) can probably hear Heimskr right outside their place all the time and are on the verge of snapping
-i imagine they're a bit more hairy than most, which is like, a bit more common, but Kahjit probably get more wild and faster growing fur, argonians grow more feathery type stuff, and non-beast races just in general more hairy
-folks with beast blood are always just much stronger than they look, like even if they look skinnier they still are much stronger than they have any right to be
-they don't get cold as easy, and Kahjit lycanthropes can feel almost too hot even when its chilly sometimes.
-werewolf blood tastes bad to vampires, like flat out, it tastes sour or like rotten meat
-kahjit and argonian werewolves are SO weird though, the mannerisms of kahjit get super thrown into whack because on one hand the tail moving COULD be bad, but then again, it could be they're just excited, the hearing is a huge issue too
-argonians lycanthrope forms being more feathery and still retaining their horns (maybe they become a bit more gnarled with it)
-lycanthrope nightmares are way more vivid than the nightmares of others, and what happens in them is extremely varied from person to person and its tough for them to tell if it was real or not at first, some get used to it, some don't.
-when the dragonborn is a werewolf its their roar that throws people off most, it is way louder than it has any right to be, even the companions are a little taken aback by it at first, on the bright side its much more effective at striking fear into people

First of all, this story arc is so beautiful and good written. ESPECIALLY with the comparison of GoT. Tell me you actually wrote a fic about Jia because I'll definitely read it!!! 💛💛💛
It actually has a coherent arc and timeline and possible GROWTH for your character that I want to see. Like you said, flip a coin, see which side it lands on. Uncle Sheo would be proud no matter but highly amused anyhow. Oh and the possibilities of changing the main story line of the game in any direction really. Finally a good meal😌
As for my story and oc... Well, the story lacks right now a lot of coherent timelines and has a lot of plot holes that I haven't decided yet, but I'll give you a brief summary of the idea. (Now I'm sorry for the rant, this is going to be long😅)
So basically, Martin did dirty with someone during the oblivion crisis, but I haven't decided yet if that woman should be a random encounter NPC or a person of importance in the oblivion. Well, in my headcannon, Martin, HoK and Lucien Lachance were very good, very close friends. And Sanguine still visits Martin after he becomes emperor. At some point, the said woman tells Martin she's pregnant with his child and well, he's not ready for the news, especially during the world ending events. So he asks Lucien to take the child after she's born and raise her in the dark brotherhood so she would surely be protected there. This obviously doesn't go according to plan, because he dies. So someone has to actually take care of Martin's child. HoK has other priorities (keep in mind that I really strongly believe they became Sheogorath in the shivering isles dlc) so who is the only person left in their tiny group of friends who CAN do something about it? Yup. Sanguine. This is where I struggle a bit, because just saying that he snatched the new born baby girl and hid her in his realm of oblivion is a bit forced and on the style of Bethesda writing.
Nevertheless, something similar happens. But 200 years later she's sent back to Nirn, by a dark brotherhood sanctuary door. (Lucien made a promise after all) Only that she is never found by a DB assassin. An imperial man found the baby, with a stack of papers written and signed by Martin himself, The Blades, Lucien and HoK explaining who the girl is. The man takes the papers but leaves the girl, Arya(Arianna Septim) in an orphanage. Only for the said orphanage to mysteriously burn down five years later, with Arya being the only survivor.
The next 10 years of her life is still a mystery to me, I have tons of ideas...but no way to put them together.
But at the age of 15, she's going to Skyrim for the College of Winter hold. Now, I have a lot of drafts of how the story is going from here, but the part that made me want to write this, is the Dark brotherhood quest line. Keep everything the same until the point where Lucien's ghost is introduced. He KNOWS who Arya is. So he follows her around, trying to keep her safe like he promised Martin two centuries ago. But he doesn't tell. She obviously doesn't know who she is...yet. Now, imagine that Astrid doesn't betray her for the whole listener thing, but because she's offered an escape from execution of the sanctuary. Remember how in game, in Cicero's journals, he specifies that the imperial army is destroying the sanctuaries in Cyrodiil? In my story, there IS a reason for that and that reason is Arya. They are looking for her. So, commander Maro proposed to Astrid to sell Arya out after his son was killed, and he would leave the sanctuary alone. Well, the sanctuary still burns down, and Arya is sent to kill the real king. Only to discover a bit more that was necessary. The king has the papers with her story. That imperial soldier who found her 15 years ago? He gave the papers to the king. And he tells Arya everything. Let her read them. Oh, but in these papers there is also a report from 10 years ago, where an officer of the imperial legion asked to eliminate any threats to the Mede dynasty by any means...that even being the burning of an orphanage. But who is the mysterious officer? Commander Maro. Yes, the same Maro that burns the sanctuary in falkreath, the same Maro who found Arya. Her character growth in this whole quest line would be immense and tragic. Especially if Lucien is with her during the assassination of the real emperor.
I have a lot more ideas and I'm really really working on a point of view that she can't just demand to take the throne back, even after Titus is killed, because who would believe her, even with the papers. But she knows she can do something to help the people(the actual people of the empire, including Skyrim, not the noisy nobles and corrupted politicians). But only from the shadows. Thieves, Assassins, Spies, you get the idea.
Now, I also like to think that every Septim was at least a bit unhinged, so she's no different. Especially now that she's an assassin. (And basically had two deadric uncles, Sanguine and HoK!Sheo)
Anyways, thank you so so much for asking about my point of story!!!💛💛💛
And I really hope you have head cannons on Jia or something written, because I really really want to read it :)
Please please tell me ANYTHING about your oc Jia because I'm so fascinated with the concept of Septim dynasty still being alive in the events of Skyrim.
(Also because I have a whole story on draft about Martin having a child who somehow was looked away for 200 years and coming back during the timeline of Skyrim)
HI!!! First off, thank you so much for the ask, and I’m so sorry in advance for the infodump that follows…🥹
So, about Jia, she’s Martin Septim’s great-granddaughter. For my story, I have outlined the plan where Martin had a fling with one of the Blade agents who were sent to find him and keep him safe during the Oblivion Crisis. Eventually, the woman became pregnant with a child, though with the Thalmor menace and the fact that she carried a Septim descendant, she managed to ‘disappear’ by fleeing Cyrodiil, changing her identity and her looks altogether, and thus successfully protecting herself and her child. The years passed peacefully, her daughter grew up and built her own family, and that was when Jia’s father was born to her. Remus is… a complicated being, but the short story is that he had the ‘gift’ of foresight, prophetic dreams like Uriel Septim VII had, and so it was revealed to him he was of the Septim dynasty, something his grandmother fought tooth and nail to hide... Those visions showed him Sky Haven Temple in Skyrim and called him towards a Nord woman who was destined to be the mother of his daughter: the last heir of the Septims, as well the Last Dragonborn—that’s my Jia. Without spoiling much, eventually, the Thalmor do discover about her father’s and later about her heritage, and well, the fact that a Septim Dragonborn walks Nirn again by the time a war of succession is ongoing on Skyrim can be quite scandalous for all sides…
Septims are very equivalent to the Targaryens from GoT, in my headcanon. Tiber Septim has very Aegon the Conqueror vibes, Pelagius the Mad can be linked to the Mad King Aerys, Uriel Septim VII to either King Jaehaerys the Wise or King Viserys the Peaceful… Also, Targaryen women were said to be very strongly connected to blood magic, and in TES we have Queen Potema with her necromantic talents… Not to mention the dragon blood and the connection to the dragons. But the most precarious trait they share is the madness. There was this saying in ASOIAF about the Targaryens, that when a new Targaryen is born the Gods flip a coin—one side of sanity and the other of madness—and the world holds its breath to see how it lands. The same can be said for Jia, a Septim and a Dragonborn, neither full dragon nor full mortal, who knows that she can seize not only Skyrim’s throne, but the Ruby Throne itself, astride Odahviing and become a tyrant and oppressor as a dragon can naturally be, ‘a plague for the future generations’ as Arngeir tells us in-game; or she can be gentle and good and fair like her great-grandfather was before her. And I’d love to see the road she’ll choose in her story…👀💖
I’m very curious, what’s your take on Martin’s secret heir appearing during the events of Skyrim? 👀

Sheogorath headcanons
Some relationship headcanons for the Madgod, mostly nsft <3 Pt 1/?
- Being in a relationship with Sheogorath would be very wild as his reactions to most things would be unpredictable, but it wouldn’t mean things would be unnecessarily unpleasant
- Sheogorath wouldn’t be a controlling partner, but he would punish his partner if he felt that they were out of line or did something that displeased him, similar to how he’d punish the Citizens of his realm if they commit crimes or try to leave the Shivering Isles
- Sheogorath would definitely be dominant when it comes to sex. He wouldn’t have much regard for his partner’s pleasure unless he feels particularly generous
- Sheogorath would most likely prefer a partner that would be completely surrender themselves to him and be submissive
- It isn’t likely that he premeditates activities beforehand, so they would have to be able to bend to whatever spontaneous and unpredictable ideas he comes up with, just like he is he with most other affairs
- Sheogorath wouldn’t stop his partner from practicing free will, letting them touch him as they please or try to dominate him if they felt like it, but he would quickly put them in their place
- Despite holding a dominant and unpredictable image, Sheogorath would have his moments of being tender and gentle, but they would be rare
- Sheogorath wouldn’t hold any heftiness or weight to sex like mortals or be more inclined to indulge himself in it like certain other Daedric prince(s), but the idea that he wouldn’t use it if he saw that it could provide him an advantage or leverage in a situation shouldn’t be put away

HoK!Sheogorath's 'greymarch' headcannon:
what if the new sheogorath, the hero of kvatch, has their own version of greymarch where they lost their sheogorath aspect and temporarily turned into their past self instead of turning into jyggalag?
everytime the greymarch comes, they turn back into the old hero of kvatch, their vague memories of old life turn clear, and theres grief and loneliness.
they came to nirn, wandering cyrodiil in their old form. it's been so long. no one recognized them anymore. yet there are still statues of them and martin. bruma and imperial city. their statues are all worn up, maybe cracked up a little bit here and that, missing a few little pieces, but adored with candles and flowers around it.. people praying and singing around it.. the hero of kvatch smiles fondly remembering the old days, and so they departs.. they pays visit to all around cyrodiil. to whats remaining of applewatch, to the cloud ruler temples ruins.. places that hold dear and strong memories.. so many places..
they keep wandering nirn filled with grief, loneliness and bittersweet memories until they gradually lose themself all over again and succumb back into the eternal madness.
back to the shivering isle...
and then haskill is always there, ready to welcome his master back home. maybe he would set up a little homecoming party to cheer them up :)

Anonymous asked: Awesome! In that case can I get some relationship headcanons for Mephala and their Mortal Follower-S/o
Mephala normally wouldn't have gotten wrapped up in a relationship with a mortal knowing that it would never last but something about this one in particular just seemed to stand out to them.
They sometimes appear to their s/o and the first time they did so it startled their s/o because they were so use to just hearing their voice.
On more than one occasion they've been known to pull their s/o aside while in physical form just to steal a kiss from them.
They tend to keep their relationship with their s/o quiet when other Daedric Princes are around knowing that it's rather... frowned upon for a Daedra and a mortal to be together.
Although they don't technically go on dates whenever their s/o shows up to their shrine and talk with each other for hours.
Once a month they will show up unannounced and a little bit of fun will ensue. (Trying to keep this SFW so use your imaginations.)

Thank you so much for the tag @bougainvillea-and-saltwater 💖💖💖
Top 10 Skyrim characters:
Miraak. He had to be numer one. I am, after all, writing a fic with him. I absolutely love the idea of another Dovahkiin, especially the first of that kind. I remember being so, so excited to play the Dragonborn dlc. Also, as @bougainvillea-and-saltwater said, THE POTENTIAL of this character is amazing. I do wish he was a bit more detailed and we had more options than to kill him, but hey, that's what fanfiction is for 😄
Marcurio - maybe I'm biased because he's also in my fic, but I love this man so much! He's so funny and sassy and he's an amazing mage!! I also live his comments and banter so much!!
Erandur - I LOVE REDEMPTION ARCS AND CHARACTERS TRYING TO DO BETTER SO MUCH
Durnehviir - my fave dragon :') I love his design and his tragic backstory and the fact that he just wants to fly over Tamriel again and bask in it's beauty.
Teldryn Sero - another one from my fic. I am thinking about my headcannons, but also, they are in my story for a reason, and that's because they're amazing characters that I want to see and write more of!
Delphine - I know she's not the most popular, but I really like her character and I think she is one of the more complex skyrim npcs. I also get it, she is scared that dragons will turn on everyone. Even Paarthurnax said that it takes enormous effort and lots of meditation to tame is soul that wants to dominate everything.
Sheogorath - the most fun Daedric Prince. I love him so much, and I think he is very complex. Yes, he is fun and quirky, but he also represents depression, mania and other inner battles that some face. He can get downright scary and unpredictable and I wouldn't want to be a worshipper of the mad god.
Erik the Slayer - very wholesome I adore eager characters who are thirsty for adventure but are at the beginning of their journey, I also love the fact that he was inspired by a real life fan that sadly passed away
Deep-In-His-Cups - fave random encounter and ldb's drinking buddy apparently!
Jorn - I have a weakness for cute bards, ok?!
I'm tagging @kiir-do-faal-rahhe @ghostfacedbat @friend-of-giants @milfmorrowind only if you want to, of course, no pressure!

The new mad-god
Tumblr media Tumblr media
From the greymarch's end, comes a renewed madness. Mantled by the high elven hero of Kavach, Sheogorath brings trouble upon mortals once more with unbridled chaos. Though Sheogorath thrives, a shackle of sorrow keeps them in check. For against all odds the hero of Kavach survived the raging waters of the mad-god's psyche and has since then learned how to ride the currents.
(headcannon + fan design cuz I luv him)

Laylah Taj Aleasifa and Velentius Cosades relationship
I was laying in my bed, trying to go to sleep, when it hit me. Laylah and Velentius know each other. And so here’s their relationship.
They met in Pelagius’s mind when Laylah came to retrieve him from his vacation. He liked her so much, that after giving her the Wabbajack and returning to New Sheoth, he kept an eye on her.
He watched her for a bit before taking his old form and joining her on Nirn as a companion.
Laylah is a Daedra worshipper. Which is strange for a Redguard who was raised by Ebonarm followers.
She is highly devoted to Boethiah and Hircine, which may seem like a strange pairing, but it makes sense to her.
This leads to a strange relationship between Velentius and Laylah. Laylah worships 2 of Velentius’s brothers and friends, and Velentius is the brother/friend of Laylah’s patrons.
Laylah sometimes forgets this, especially when she finds a sleeping Velentius hanging off her dining table, which leads to her treating him like a regular person.
Vel absolutely adores Laylah, and whenever she forgets he’s a god, he loves her even more.
He treats her like a daughter and even gave her a room in the New Sheoth palace.
Not like she’d actually go to New Sheoth, but I digress.
He does feel sad around her. Seeing this strong and powerful Dragonborn cutting her way through draugr, and debating her way through politicians makes him think of the life Martin could have had.
When Laylah came across the Museum of the Mythic Dawn, she had to summon 3 Dremora and a Dark Seducer to keep Vel from burning it down.
When he found out she was hired to reforge the razor, that was the only time he has ever, ever, yelled at her.
It honestly terrified her.
When she told him how she refused to kill Sikhs and destroyed the shrine to Dagon, he started crying. He told her about the Oblivion Crisis from his point of view, and for the first time in 200 years, he told someone what happened in the Temple of the One. The true story, not what he told Ocato.
After this day, the two have never argued again. They may squabble like siblings, but they’ve never fought or yelled at each other.
Boethiah and Hircine are both very… reluctant. To allow their champion to be so close to the God of Madness, but he reassured them that he didn’t want her soul.
Besides, she was already Boethiah’s to claim, no matter what Hircine tried to say.
The two eventually decided that since they had each other, the Current hero of Tamriel, and the 2nd most famous hero of Tamriel, maybe they should go looking for the most famous hero of Tamriel.
So they went looking for the Nerevarine. And who knows whether they find her or not.

In Search of a RP partner. Must be nsfw friendly (though, it is more story driven than anything else. This is NOT a porn. Smut , if any has to drive the story.)
I'm looking for someone to RP as Ondolemar from Skyrim. It's a female Nord Vampire/ Ondolemar romance. I normally do not do F/M RPs, but this headcannon will not leave me alone. Ondolemar's looks are based off the Handsome Ondolemar mod. Though added flair is appreciated! Looking for 3rd pov, Literate/Semi-literate, prefer other's who like story more than smut. Daily replies (life gets in the way, a head's up would be appreciated!), Wanting a partner who can contribute to the story. I adore enemies to friends to lovers. At least a 2 paragraph reply. PLOT: I rather negotiate the plot with you! I have a general idea and will post when there is a prospect for a partner. Though, basic idea: Serana, Lucien , and Dexion suggested to Aconita, to accompany Dexion back to the Imperial City. Mainly as a distraction. She agrees and also suggests they stop off to visit some old friends at The College of Whispers. Thalmor are present, all along Cyrodil. Ondolemar had been reassigned to lead the Dominion's interests in the Imperial province. First, in the Imperial City, then in Lleyawyn. They do NOT hit it off at first. He suspects what she is (Bonus points for why he does not turn her in.). More Bonus Points: *Altmer breeding doctrines and since he is "superiorly bred" Mer? If he has any inclinations outside of other "Superiorly Bred" Altmer, consequences will be had. *Ondolemar is already in an arranged marriage. Both find the other quite dull, in secret. *An argument about Lorkhan. * Sancre Tor and debates on Talos. *Shared interest in a bitter, roasted bean brew (you may come up with the coffee equivalent name!) *Super Secretly soft Ondolemar. *Ondolemar, Lucien, and Dexion adventure shenanigans! A Bit about my character: Name: Aconita Age: 26. Height: 6'3. Race: Nord- Daughter of Coldharbour. Religion: Daedric worshipper. Main patrons being Sheogorath, Nocturnal, Sithis, and Hermaeous Mora. Formally Molag Bal. Affiliation: College of Whispers, Dark Brotherhood, and Volkihar Coven. Alignment: Chaotic Neutral. Sign: Born under the Shadow. Weapons of choice: Daedric Crescent, Dawn/Duskfang, and Ruin's Edge with Soul Stealer Arrows. Homesteads: Elysium meets Leafrest mashup, though in the Rift. Raven Castle, but make it a family thing. Also, resides in Volkihar Castle. Class: Multiclasses. Assasin/Necromancer (School of Conjuration)/Bard. Companions: Serana, Lucien Flavius (Follower mod, more like an apprentice.), Teldryn Sero, Shavee, Opal (an OC Bosmer, female.), Arvak, Durnevhir (Is able to summon him and does so regularly.), Babette, Tolfdir, Dexion, and Nazir. Former Companions: Ysolda (former, one sided love interest), Lydia (The companion that was turned into a sweetroll...), Kaidan ( a mod follower. Akaviri, former lover, but just left her with no reason as to why.), J'Zhargo (Partner in crime, had gone to Northpoint.), and the Dragonborn. Hobbies: Foraging, Cooking, Alchemy, Summoning, trying to commune with the hist. Is moonsugar a hobby or a way of life? Appearance: Avatar picture is of Aconita. Eyes: Reflective yellow/silver iris, and a deep blood red sclera. Almond shaped, hooded. Hair: Shoulder length, undercut, wavy, and a cool toned midnight black. Skin: Very pale, "White as snow", with cool undertones. Making her skin almost "glow" in certain cold light ( That is actually a thing, in certain ambient light, with cooler undertones). Various scars due to her adventures. Notable ones are under her left eye and right side of her mouth to her clavicle (They happened when she became a Daughter of Cold Harbour). Facial tattoos of a deep blackish red on both eyes (almost looks like elaborate makeup). Brief personality description: Unhinged, yet can be composed. Not the "SkYRiM fOr tHe nOrDs" type. Despises Ulfric. Enjoys conjuration... A little too much. Has fun with the Wabbajack. Once turned one of her companions into a sweetroll... Tried to find a way to reverse the effect... Got hungry, and well... You get the rest! She can be lethally calculating when the need arises, but gets bored
easily. Has a sweet tooth. There is obvious trauma, due to the Molag Bal ritual... Light hearted, dark sense of humour. A chronic insomniac. Referenced Mods in the RP will be: Soul Stealer Arrows, Elysium Estate, Raven Castle, Wearable Horns-TDN (Vampire Lord crown in picture.), Lucien Flavius, Kaiden, Handsome Ondolemar, Tamrielic Lore (a good one to look at!), Alchemical Cooking, Raven Witch Armor, Winterhold Restored, Magical College of Winterhold, Castle Volkihar Redux. Areas: I would love all of Tamriel to be traversed, or mentioned. Shivering Isles and Apocrypha. Mentions of Thras, Atmora, Yokudan, and Akavir. Frostcrag Spire. Lore: If you need a brush up or a rundown: Uesp.net is a great place. I'll also be more than willing to help! There is more, but will update for later. Message through here, inbox, or whatever is easiest for you, if interested! Thank you!

Headcannons about Sheogorath!HOK as a Member/Former Member of the Dark Brotherhood
HOK totally continued working for them as their abilities develope and grow so every once in a while an assassination will be insanely done. One contract happened to explode randomly in the middle of a city, but HOK still got payed, and no one with the ability to jail them could track it back to them.
They slowly became known for the insane magic they used to assassinate people, but could never teach them to anyone.
The Dark Brotherhood members always find themselves in good favor with Sheogorath, no matter how little they interact. None know why this is.
Any Dark Brotherhood members who go mad often find protection and power in their madness.
HOK is still bound to Sithis, but due to the odd circumstances they aren’t exactly able to do much related to Sithis anymore. They are unable to hear the Nightmother anymore.
The Dragonborn brought their Spectral Assassin with them when they met Sheogorath for the first time. Neither the Dragonborn or the Spectral Assassin understood why Sheogorath was so honored to meet the current listener or so choked up about meeting the Spectral Assassin.
If one looks hard enough, they will find old Dark Brotherhood armor from the 3rd Era within Sheogorath’s palace. Sheogorath will not tell the story behind the armor however.
Some worshippers of Sheogorath find themselves drawn towards the Dark Brotherhood if they have the right skill set. However they can never explain why.

Parental figure, I crave more Vicente and Brotherhood headcannons! D'you have any? Maybe some Sheo ones?
Oh, I’m glad you’ve enjoyed my headcanons so far! I’ll be happy to share some more!! I do have a few that delve a little more into their backstories and other aspects of their personal lives :) -Vicente is actually on rather good terms with Janus Hassildor. It’s good to have friends in high places, or for Janus, on the shady side of the law. -Vicente tells us he contracted his vampirism “on an expedition to Vvardenfell.” But what was he doing on Vvardenfell? What kind of expedition? Was he an adventurer, like the player? Was he a mercenary? Ok this one’s less of a headcanon and more of a question but still it’s a fun thing to think about. -Vicente collects old and rare books. He loves reading and he thinks it’s be a shame to let books go to ruin. Tying this into the previous one, I like to think he was exploring Tamriel for cool books and collectibles to add to his collection. He was on Vvardenfell looking for things to add to his collection, maybe some old Tribunal banned books or some Dwemer book-ends. Anyway he probably made himself a camp in some ruins and was bit in his sleep. -When he realized he had been infected he was surprised. He might have been disgusted at first, but very quickly came to accept his fate. -Lucien was recruited at the age of 18 after murdering a thief in Riften. He was traveling around Skyrim for scholarly reasons most likely, and the Rift was his last stop before going home to Cyrodiil. -When Lucien was offered a spot in the DB, he immediately decided that was a much more interesting career choice than what his parents had been pushing him towards, and he had already been worshiping Sithis in secret for a while. He didn’t even have to think before accepting. -Lucien’s favorite things to read are murder mysteries and cheesey romance novels. Vicente prefers tragic comedies. -Vicente met Babette in Bruma while on a contract. They recognized each other as vampires, but never brought up the Brotherhood (just to be safe) Maybe after a while they trust each other enough to talk about it, but not for a while. Vicente’s shocked and disgusted that someone would turn a child. -It’s the Purification that first makes Babette question her faith in the Night Mother. Astrid definitely takes advantage of this when winning her loyalty. -Nazir mentions that he learned to cook from his father, whom he killed afterward. I like to think he poisoned the meal his father made him cook. He was most likely rather young when this happened, 13 - 15 at the oldest. He would have grown up with the Brotherhood. -Cicero was brought up by Sithis worshipers. Not necessarily Dark Brotherhood, but at least someone who would admire them. His first kill was someone who was rude to him. -Sheo!HoK still remembers their time in Tamriel sometimes, and have influenced a few of Sheogorath’s decisions. Because of them, a strange tie between Sheogorath and the Dark Brotherhood has been formed. Alright my laptop’s kind of lagging now and it’s like 1:48 am so I’ll stop this here. I got kind of Vicente-heavy again but I can’t help it. Hope you enjoy!

Note
sanguine nsfw please 👀
I'm going to go with headcannons for this one.
If there's any mortal he likes messing around with, it's you.
He loves the fact you're completely unafraid of him, and you're hopelessly smitten by him; not to say he's immune to you.
The roughest of the Daedra, Sheogorath following close behind.
Is also completely up for anything you want to try.
Of course, being the daedric prince of debauchery, he is the biggest of the Daedra.

headcannon that haskill wasn't half bald when he first serve sheogorath
centuries of countless head pats, staff whacking, and good night kisses in the head makes his hair go bye-bye
.....oh, and also the stress of (almost solo) keeping the isle functioning.
