Book-Tuber, about Project Hail Mary: "Does it need to be 476 pages? I highly doubt it."
Me, who loved Project Hail Mary and will be rereading it this year: "SHUT UP, yes it does."

"I would have gotten away with it, too, if it wasn't for you meddling kids!"
Scooby Boo meets Cthulhu. Andi is a lesbian. There's a ghost/hallucination, I've heard.
I'm loving this so far.

My current reads! I'm trying to read through a bunch of spooky reads for Spooky Season.
This is my first time reading both T. Kingfisher and Darcy Coates, and I'm liking them both so far. Kingfisher's writing is so fun and funny! I've got A House with Good Bones on audio, and I need to make more time to listen to it. (For real, it's due in 4 days. Get on it, She!Sam!)

I think I found a better system to keep track of my online library books. I was writing them by due date in the ToDo section in my planner. That was working fine with Hoopla and OMNI/Libby, but now I also use Boundless, who only has a 2 week check out time.
That messes up my timeline because everything else is 3 weeks! And if it's not in order I get messed up. Some of these waittimes are crazy!
So my new solution is note tabs with the title and date on them. Right now they're sticking pretty well, and I can move and rerrange them if/when I check out more books!
(No rhyme or reason for the colors, but watch me overthink it. Should each app have it's own color? Should the book type be a specific color? Should the color match the cover for ✨️aesthetic✨️? We'll see.)

I was pretty young.
I remember being scared by a book in first grade (a book my teacher rad to us. A kid lost his bones? I think? And I dreamed he was crawling up the stairs to get me), but after that I don't remember having issues. I've read all sorts of horror since.
"Horror" could include graphic movies, horror games, creepypastas, etc.

I read this so fast I didn't have time to make more notes. This felt a little slow compared to Morning Glory Milking Farm, but it didn't detract from the story at all. It was really good! I enjoyed seeing the story again from a different point of view. I also enjoyed seeing a romance exclusively from the "hero's" point of view. Rourke fell HARD and maybe was a little obsessed, but everyone involved is okay with it, so I can't judge too hard.
I love Cambric Creek, and look forward to more installments!
"Rourke thought that seemed a tad optimistic and was just a way to insinuate minotaurs were superior when measured up to, say, orcs. Well, definitely superior to orcs like Khash."
I will have no bad talking Khash, Rourke!

It's interesting to see this side of the MGMF story. I like that one a lot, and I liked Rourke.
I like him less here, but only because I know the place he's in after a bad break up. It's hard to look for someone when you think you're broken and you slightly hate other people's relationships.
It's okay, buddy. You'll be okay.

"Why don’t I deserve to be happy right now? This version of me, the person I am today. Why isn’t she just as deserving of love as anybody else?

What a strange book. What a strange story.
So far the vibe kind of reminds me of Somebody Else by Flora Cash

I didn't get to it in March. "Better late than never" is my life's motto 😅
I really enjoy Stephen King, and I've heard nothing but good things about this book.
I also love when Kimg references his other books, which is A LOT. Usually it's like, lore related, right? But this one made me laugh.
I know Stephen is canonically in his own universe, but "I'm in my books, but so are my books and movies" is ridiculous in a fun sort of way.
