Book-Tuber, about Project Hail Mary: "Does it need to be 476 pages? I highly doubt it."
Me, who loved Project Hail Mary and will be rereading it this year: "SHUT UP, yes it does."

"I would have gotten away with it, too, if it wasn't for you meddling kids!"
Scooby Boo meets Cthulhu. Andi is a lesbian. There's a ghost/hallucination, I've heard.
I'm loving this so far.

My current reads! I'm trying to read through a bunch of spooky reads for Spooky Season.
This is my first time reading both T. Kingfisher and Darcy Coates, and I'm liking them both so far. Kingfisher's writing is so fun and funny! I've got A House with Good Bones on audio, and I need to make more time to listen to it. (For real, it's due in 4 days. Get on it, She!Sam!)

I work with swords. This feels like one of the only times I've seen an accurate portrayal in media.

What a strange book. What a strange story.
So far the vibe kind of reminds me of Somebody Else by Flora Cash

Ooo, Helen is vying for Ares' position. This will be interesting.
I thought this story was going to be between just Achilles and Patroclus, but Katee is throwing Helen into the mix.
You know, it's funny. I didn't plan on using this for the PopSugar Reading Challenge, I was just finishing the series. But it's funny how many prompts it fits! That happened a lot last year, too.

I was pretty young.
I remember being scared by a book in first grade (a book my teacher rad to us. A kid lost his bones? I think? And I dreamed he was crawling up the stairs to get me), but after that I don't remember having issues. I've read all sorts of horror since.
"Horror" could include graphic movies, horror games, creepypastas, etc.

I didn't get to it in March. "Better late than never" is my life's motto 😅
I really enjoy Stephen King, and I've heard nothing but good things about this book.
I also love when Kimg references his other books, which is A LOT. Usually it's like, lore related, right? But this one made me laugh.
Tumblr media
I know Stephen is canonically in his own universe, but "I'm in my books, but so are my books and movies" is ridiculous in a fun sort of way.

(This was read and finished in October, I am just SLOW at posting) This was cute and quick, and much needed lightness after The Devil's Arithmetic.
Also, love the author name. Say it quick!
"Felicity was naturally born with all the stitches and bolts that her daddy has."
Nope, I can't believe it. I will suspend my disbelief for a lot of things, but I DO NOT believe that stitches and bolts are hereditary.
