getting hyperfixated on a queerbaitey non-cannon yuri ship from some mediocre semiobscure 12-episode anime about who-knows-what instead of the actual cannon yuri couple thats RIGHT THERE in that same show is so odd. and like. the thing is that this show is kind of objectively bad. i LOVE it but like. its kinda bad! i could NOT tell you literally anything that happened in this show. no goddamn clue whats going on ever !! but it still really resonated with me for all the wrong reasons im pretty sure

like. what really gets me about it is that despite the fact that these characters are going through all of this emotional and not to mention life-threatening (for themselves and the entire world) turmoil but they still just... live, you know? theres nothing they can do, so they live. they go shopping and they go to school. they cook and do crafts and play instruments, and unfortunately we only see that with the main cast- not the cannon yuri couple, so i never really connected to them in the same way I did with the main cast (minus kyoshiro because that guy sucks) and thus i want THEM in particular to be happy. especially setsuna because she gets totally fucked over to literally no fault of her own!! her and kuu have more chemistry than the actual main het couple, which does make sense because the guy who wrote the manga mainly draws/writes yuri. so like. it cant be unintentional right?? they literally kiss on screen????? this show is weird man

Mmmm, I've drawn something in the same vein before but I have been thinking about it again, lmao.

Obviously Harvey is someone who is capable of being very dangerous. He kills based on fate, and, at least in stories I like, his victims are usually people who have wronged him or have twisted the law - they'd otherwise be people he definitely would have put away as DA.

But I can't help but imagine that there's a part of him, probably the Harvey Dent personality, that sort of watches on like a horrified jury when the fate is sealed. It's a moment where his violence reflects that of what his father inflicted upon him, and that there's an almost divine guilt at the fact he has turned to that to get the job done.

But he has to carry on. Bona fide, he keeps telling himself, probably.
