Where did you get the name ideas for the dinosaur ocs last names?
Scar, Archie, Shana, Judy, and Irwin don't have surnames, but all of the others had theirs taken from their species name. lol Iggy is the one weird one in that regard where her actual surname is also her species name (Iguanodon).
Peter Dactyl - pterodactyl RĂ©my Rhynchus - rhamphorhynchus Tina Rex - Tyrannosaurus Rex Delilah Dromeus - deltadromeus Andrew Sarchus - andrewsarchus (I literally just split his species name in half lol) Elliot Therium - elasmotherium Kaitlynn Kronos - kronosaurus Yuki Saura - futabasaurus (slightly altered) Olly Ouranos - ouranosaurus Dirk Saber - sabertooth tiger
I know Andrew, Elliot, and Dirk are mammals, but I lump them in with the dinosaurs anyway because they're all old fossils, too. LMAO (But scientifically speaking, those three aren't dinosaurs, just ancient mammals.)

Miracles are rare in the 21st century, but watch pretty much any episode of The Chosenand they are bountiful. But the biggest miracle of all is perhaps the fact that a historical drama centered around Jesus of Nazareth (a warm and welcoming Jonathan Roumie), set in 1st century Galilee as He preaches, gains followers (and enemies) and, on occasion, raises the dead and walks on water, has built a passionate legion of faithful viewers. How did a crowdfunded production become a heavenly international sensation?
The holy cards were stacked against The Chosen from the start. Faith-based television is historically hit-or-miss. The Academy Award-winning 1956 classic The Ten Commandments, which has aired on ABC nearly every Easter season since 1973, regularly reaps solid viewership (3.2 million when it last aired on April 1, 2023). But in terms of scripted TV, for every spiritual success (think Highway to Heaven and Touched by an Angel), there are just as many failures (anyone remember ABC drama Of Kings and Prophets or the Anne Heche sitcom Save Me?).
The Chosenâs accessibilityâitâs been available to stream for free online at thechosen.tv since Season 1âdidnât hurt in making the show a hit, but it also drew in curious audience members with fresh takes on well-known biblical figures that never feel out of touch. Roumie effortlessly shepherds a comforting and gentle strength in his Jesus, whether Heâs confidently preaching the Sermon on the Mount to thousands or graciously healing someone in private. And Heâs unapologetically human. He laughs hard and pokes fun at His Apostles, shows His frustration with hardheaded religious leaders, joyously dances at a wedding in Cana and even frolics in the Sea of Galilee.
His 12 Apostlesâthe actual âchosenââcome with relatable baggage, broadening their flat Bible counterparts into colorful characters. Hotheaded fisherman Simon (Shahar Isaac) scrambles to provide for his wife, Eden (Lara Silva). Later, the young couple suffers a miscarriage and Simon blows up at Jesus for not protecting them. Outsider Matthew (Paras Patel)âwho has been likened to being on the autism spectrumâis lonely and ostracized from his family. Nervous Andrew (Noah James) struggles with feelings of anxiety.
The showâs female cast also shines a light on women in a time period when they were often overlooked and underutilized. The iconic Mary Magdalene (Elizabeth Tabish) deals with shame from her past, thoughts of suicide and the loss of a parent. She bonds with the honest Tamar (Amber Shana Williams) over the latter. Jesusâ caring mother Mary (Vanessa Benavente) grapples with the idea that her adult Sonâthe Messiahâno longer needs her.
The Chosen so beautifully weaves its many perspectives together, often creating compelling duos, like awkward Matthew finding a surprising ally in gruffly sympathetic Roman centurion Gaius (Kirk B.R. Woller).
Finally, the show brings dimension to the New Testamentâs most famous lines of Scripture, and the messages never come across as preachy. Theyâre edgy and nuanced, with fun bouts of humor and a deep sincerity and unwavering respect for the source material.
After 24 episodes (27 if you count the three Christmas specials), The Chosen has lifted the hearts of fans, who give thanks both through an overwhelming amount of online praise and the generous crowd-funding donations that continue to raise the dramaâs production quality year after year (over $40 million has been collected so far). And given that the Christian megahit has been pitch-perfect since the original 2017 pilot, we have faith that the flourishing show will only continue to collect more and more loyal disciples on its righteous journey. Amen!

Bachelor in Paradise. Season 8. 7.4/10
I wouldn't recommend this season to my friends. I wouldn't rewatch this season.
Still attractive: Serene, Teddi, Sierra, Michael, and Brandon. My surprise when I saw them on the season: Michael A., Rodney, and anyone returning to the episode after leaving.
I'm dead at the fake cat Jill brought. I was not expecting Kira to say she could've been a pornstar. I cannot believe Michael A. is here. He also really is so ripped. Omg at Sierra not having a pinky and people not realizing. Omg at all of us listening to Wells's story about Clare Crawley being the other woman for Jared. Genevieve and Shanae starting a friendship is revolutionary.
I love the dance battle at the Sadie Hawkins dance.
It's so crazy polar this season. Sierra is so amazing of a person. Her breakup with Michael is heartbreaking. Why is she so understanding? What kind of man ever takes rejection in that way? Brandon and Serene are amazing together in the perfect way. Aaron says random funny things. I love how much everyone likes Michael A. Michael and Casey having a commentary on the people is like the muppets grandpas--Statler and Waldorf. Victoria Fuller is like the most stable to me here. Like no expectations, no problems. Brittany is a homie, and she can be my homie anyday. She confronts people for their shittiness. Why was Jacob eating the pineapple like that? Eliza's happy reaction to having both Rodney and Justin pursue her is gold. If it were anyone else, would I still think so positively about them? idk, but she was so cute and real and you go girl. Love Aaron and Genevieve talking through miscommunication and insecurities stemming from Justin. Love Victoria and Johnny talking about their fears within their relationship. All good communication. I though Genevieve was overreacting about being scared of a spider, but that mofo was huge. LMaoo at Victoria and Eliza reacting to Aaron and Genevieve fighting and making up. We love the support too, especially girls who support girls.
Romeo making bad decisions and crying so severely because of it is pathetic to me. I know people who don't realize their bad decision making while living the consequences, and while it does suck, you left behind hurt people on the way. Him leaving with Kira. He's such a loser to me. Like, find something authentic instead of being desperate. I don't like Kate. On a separate note, she talks in random sayings. I do hate how Shanae is being treated based on her past behavior, but I also do understand what it's like to feel some typa way about a bully. Same thing with peoples' treatment of Lace. I honestly feel like the men on the beach reacting to Lace coming back for Rodney is disrespectful. Peter is a horrible being. How can your view of yourself make you so delusional about the world? How can you so easily diss and stamp down others to keep yourself high? The Ashley peeing in the ocean thing is weird. Justin is not cute to me or great in personality or humor. He is not a hot commodity and is also a gaslighter. Same with Logan. I don't like how the men relate women's anger with natural disasters. It's so disrespectful. I feel like making the ladies leave and replacing them with new ladies..is just awarding men. We don't like that. People's reaction to Casey's fainting is kinda not great. They're just like aw that's horrible. Lace doesn't feel grown up to me. Kira taking Salley's vibrator is so weird to me. I also don't like how everyone opened her stuff. I would've preferred if Michael A. made more sense in his rejection of Sierra. I don't feel it was truly honest. Ency dealing with Andrew is so toxic. She's like someone who either has always gotten what they want in life (which I don't believe) or they're just soo not ready for a healthy relationship. Editors did do Ency wrong by making her so pathetic. I did not like how Brittany and Victoria seemed so over their breakup in the finale. Like, hearts were broken and ya'll are like I've moved on, and what's the problem? Love was on the line.
Memorable Quotes: "Hey, yo, I brought us tacos. What's going on?" "Ew, heartbreaks are the worst." "Paradise is built different." "I called the police. They're on their way actually cuz I've reported a murder of the vibe." "You never come in peace." "I'm going to need so much therapy after this, it's not even funny."

Eye on SD Unified
San Diego Unified School District (SDUSD) installs air conditioning units in schools using roof units and wall-mounted units. The units are sized to remove hot air and replace it with cooler air. The Facilities Planning & Construction (FPC) Division of SDUSD manages and contracts the installations.
San Diego Unified is trying to address a backlog of AC repairs
Good Morning, Iâm Debbie CruzâŠ.itâs Thursday, October 10th, 2024.
Air conditioning malfunctioned at several San Diego Unified schools during last monthâs heatwave.
More on how leaders are addressing the issue, next. But first... letâs do the headlinesâŠ.######
County Supervisor Terra Lawson Remer wants to ask the E-P-A to run tests in the Tijuana-River Valley to see if it could be considered a "superfund" site.
If approved, funds from the state and federal government would be allocated to help de-contaminate the area.
Lawson-Remer proposed to petition the E-P-A at Tuesday's board of supervisors meeting saying we don't know if the substances in the sediment would impact the community.
Anyone who has seen how superfund sites clean ups operate, it's just kind of extraordinary. Sometimes they'll remove soil, sometimes they'll seal soil that might be full of contaminants so it can't leach into the water."
The board voted to hold off on the petition to give them time to look into it further..
Lawson-Remer's team says she plans to move ahead with the process anyway.
########
The American Red Cross is warning about a critical need for blood donors in the wake of Hurricane Helene in the southeastern U.S.
Theyâre holding events throughout the county all month long.
One will be held at The Lodge at Lake San Marcos from 10 this morning to 4.
Donors will receive a 10 dollar Amazon Gift Card.
They will also be automatically entered for a chance to win one of three, 5-thousand dollar gift cards.
#########
Despite warmer temperatures, you may have noticed thick, come-and-go fog in parts of the county recently.
Usually this time of year, Santa Ana winds push the marine layer offshore.
But, the National Weather Service told the Union Tribune, the unusual trend now is being caused by a chain-reaction, starting with dipping ocean temperatures.
This is causing cool, moist air from off the coast to collide with a heat dome over the land.
The fog is expected to last for several more days.

San Diego Unified school district leaders are looking for ways to address a backlog of air conditioner repairs.
Reporter Katie Anastas says it comes after hundreds of classrooms had problems during last monthâs heatwave.
Representatives from the districtâs maintenance departments say about 480 classrooms had air conditioning problems between mid August and mid September.
They say there were a range of factors, including air conditioners running for long periods, aging systems and supply chain issues delaying the arrival of needed parts.
Operations director John Hensley says they canât keep up with demand for repairs.
Overall, we are completing roughly 83% of HVAC work orders received each year, so our backlog continues to grow. [9s]
Hensley says last yearâs maintenance budget was $77 million. Just under 20% funds HVAC systems.
Board president Shana Hazan says increasing that percentage would require cuts in other areas.
I think really engaging the board in that conversation through the budget planning process and upcoming budget workshops, so that we're really aware and that the community is really aware of the choices that we need to make here. [10s]
Staff say theyâre also reviewing how they manage workloads, increasing preventative maintenance and looking for additional grant funding.
Katie Anastas, KPBS News.

San Diego City Mayor Todd Gloria was elected in 2020 on promises of making the region less dependent on cars.
Metro reporter Andrew Bowen says when the city debates transportation policy, Gloria is often absent.
Much of the county's transportation policy is set at SANDAG, which manages local, state and federal transportation dollars. At a mayoral debate in 2019, Gloria pledged to take the lead at SANDAG. And he touted his support for a set of reforms that would give him more voting power at the agency's board of directors.
"It gives the mayor of San Diego the opportunity to sit in the driver's seat at both SANDAG and MTS in building a new transportation vision for our future. Our current mayor does not elect to use that authority. This mayor will.
But since taking office, Gloria has missed 50% of SANDAG board meetings. His attendance at MTS, which operates the city's bus and trolley system, is even worse. In nearly four years of MTS board meetings, Gloria has attended only one.
"If I'm not there, my alternate is there. And we have a very capable councilmember who goes on my behalfâŠ"
When asked about his attendance record at a KPBS mayoral debate last week, Gloria said even if he's not in the room at public meetings, he's still advocating for San Diego's transportation needs.
"It isn't to say I'm not actively engaged in this â I am. I have staff that look at this all the time. I'm briefed on it constantly. I meet regularly with the CEO of SANDAG. We are active in that conversation. And you see that in the dollars that are coming to San Diego.
Gloria is up for re-election next month. He said if his behind-the-scenes work is no longer effective in a second term, he'll change his approach. Andrew Bowen, KPBS news.

It's time for our next âWhy it Mattersâ segment with our Public Matters partner, Voice of San Diego.
Editor Scott Lewis explains why there are so many sales taxes on the ballot this year.
This November, voters in the city of San Diego will weigh in on Measure E â it would put a 1 percent sales tax on top of the tax buyers pay within the city.
It came up in our mayoral debate last week. Here was Larry Turner, who is running against incumbent Mayor Todd Gloria.
If someone did leave San Diego to find a lower sales tax, theyâd have to go pretty far.
Right now, the city of San Diego has the lowest rate possible in San Diego County.
The 1 percent increase would put San Diego on par with the cities with the highest rate in San Diego County. But several others want to join them.
The reason all these cities want sales tax increases is the state and county takes so much of the sales tax. When cities vote to raise their own on top of the stateâs 7.25 rate, they keep it.Â
Crucially, neither the mayor nor other supporters of the tax can promise exactly where the money would go. If they did, it would require two thirds support of voters. By saying itâs just going to go to the general fund, they only need a simple majority.
I'm Scott Lewis. And that's why understanding it all matters.
##########
Voters in east county will soon choose a new assembly member to represent their region in the state legislature.
Scott Rodd reports itâs down to two republican candidates in the general election.
Republicans Carl DeMaio and Andrew Hayes are facing off to represent Assembly District 75.
The district encompasses most of east San Diego countyâŠincluding a 50 mile stretch of the southern border west of Jacumba Hot Springs.
DeMaio is a familiar figure in the San Diego political scene. He previously served on San Diegoâs City CouncilâŠand has since run unsuccessful campaigns for San Diego mayor and two Congressional seats.
He casts himself as a political maverick who isnât afraid to ruffle feathers on the right and the left.
I think that what we need is more transparency on what's going on behind closed doors in the state Capitol. Our state Legislature does not operate in an open manner with transparency. And the special interests dominate all the decisions. The voice of the people is rarely heard.â
DeMaio says his top issues include addressing the high cost of living in the region, reducing crime and passing laws that support small businesses.
Hayes is currently president of the Lakeside Unified School Board. He previously served as district director for state Senate Minority Leader Brian Jones.
He says his experience taught him how to get things done, even when heâs in the minority.
âI want to find you issues that have common ground. that's going to take me working the pavement when I first get elected and going and introducing myself to all of my colleague who are not Republican and saying, âHey, where do we agree?â And that'll help my district on numerous issues.â
Hayes says his top issues include addressing the high cost of living in the region, improving fire insurance options for homeowners and reducing the placement of sexually violent predators in east San Diego County after theyâre released from prison.
The winner will replace Republican Assemblymember Marie Waldron, who is set to term out.

There's a renewed debate over youth football safety, after two players died from head injuries just as the school year started.
North County reporter Alexander Nguyen looks into the issue.
âsomething about talking throughâ
Diane Luth is explaining how her son Scott Eveland communicates after suffering a traumatic head injury. Itâs a slow process.
He depends on caregivers 24/7 to eat, bathe and communicate.
17 years ago, Eveland collapsed on the field at Mission Hills High School after sustaining a head injury. It was his second head injury within a week⊠and he had asked to sit out the game.
âThe trainers said you donât have to play but the coach overruled him and put him in ⊠and that was the last of the Scott that we knew.â
Head injuries continue to plague youth football. So far this school year, - a middle school player in West Virginia and a high school football player in Alabama have died from head injuries.
An effort to ban tackling in high school football ⊠has been met with strong resistance.
A state bill to ban children under 12 from playing was scrapped earlier this year after Governor Gavin Newsom said he would veto it..
There have been some changes made in recent years - to keep student athletes safe⊠including limits on practice time.
And Coaches are now better trained to look for signs of head injuries.
Jon Goodman is the head football coach at Escondido Charter High School. He played high school football-about 30 years ago.
âI donât think back then people knew whatâs going on and we just kinda played.â
Now, he says the game is much faster, thanks to- technology like sideline replays-⊠so the chances of kids getting hurt are greater.
âThey know it's happening faster. So it's even more paramount today that you educate the youngsters on what the proper technique, what the proper angles are.â
But technology is also making the sport safer.
Goodman has used Guardian caps during practice for the past 10 years.
This is technology the NFL - started using this year. They are soft-shell helmet covers.
Heâs also using whatâs known as âRiddell Insite.â
âThere's, a censor in the helmets that tell a reader how much the kids have impacted it. And then that reader tells my my athletic trainer, âHey, you need to look at this. I'm sure he's sustained that head collision.ââ
Escondido Charter High parent Brian Fonseca ⊠used to coach pop-warner football. He says the sport is safer than ever.
âWe have a professional trainer on practice. They're waiting for things happening. If any kid gets hurt, nobody gets back on that field without the trainer giving the thumbs up.â
âIn order for these young athletes to benefit from sports, they need to survive them.â
Daniel Melara is an athletic trainer from Cal State San Marcos. He says there is a growing consensus that children should start contact sports later.
âWe're still in the infancy of what that looks like as far as research. I think, at this moment in time, most, brain science, if you will, will have a recommendation to start contact sports, or blows to the head, around 14.â
But Melara says thatâs a conversation parents need to have with the coaches and staff. He says a coachâs attitude influences how a team approaches injuries.
Scott Eveland says his coach was to blame for his injury, ending his dream of medical school. It also makes communication a slow process, with his mother reading his words that say coaches need to do a better job of listening.
âMake sure that parents know this.â
Luth says if she had to do it over again ⊠she would still let her son play football. The sport was not the problem, she says â. The coach was.
âWho's watching your children? It's really it. The crux of it is who's â because there's great coaches out there. I wish Scott had that coach.â
Evelandâs family sued San Marcos Unified, and settled in 2016 for nearly four-point-four million dollars.

The 23rd Ocean Beach Oktoberfest is happening tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday.
The festival is for those 21 and up.
Heather Hudson is O-B Oktoberfest's director of partnerships.
She says this yearâs event will be bigger than previous years.
âThis year weâre very excited because we have about doubled our footprint. So youâve got about double the beach view and access. This allows us to now have two stages. So weâll have our jagermeister main stage, where we have a full line up of live bands and musical acts, contests, games. But then also this year, we have an electronica stage. So thatâs a stage where weâve got an excellent lineup of DJs.â
Hudson says some of the proceeds from the event will go back to the community.
âThis is a community event, so we have a couple of benefactors and partners that help us produce this event, specifically the Ocean Beach Main Street Association and the Peninsula Alliance, which are two groups in Ocean Beach. So, in collaboration with them we are able to give back about $50,000 each year. And to date, weâve given back over $750,000. So, this is definitely an event to come have fun, enjoy yourself, but you can feel good that you are helping give back to the community as well.â
Some things to know ahead of the event⊠General Admission tickets will be available at the gate for 15-dollars, and there are also V-I-P ticket options available to purchase online, at O-B-Oktoberfest-dot-com.
The fest runs from 4 P-M to 11-30 at night tomorrow (Friday), and noon to 11-30 P-M Saturday. *Reposted show transcript from KPBS PUBLIC MEDIA on October 10, 2024.

Lunar Codex
I am privileged to share that mention of and images of my work have been included in the Lunar Codex.
The Lunar Codex is the passion project of physicist, entrepreneur, and storyteller Samuel Peralta, who alongside NASAâs Artemis Program has placed a record of contemporary creative works from â35,000 artists, writers, musicians, and filmmakers, representing 234 countries, territories, and Indigenous nations, in time capsules launching from Earth to the Moon and beyond.â *
Read more about the Lunar Codex here.
My work was included in two issues of magazines that have been gathered into the the Lunar Codex using digital and analog technology:

2023 Favorites with Notes
2023 Favorite LPs & EPs https://www.zoocoup.org/2023/music/lps.html
2023 Favorite Singles https://www.zoocoup.org/2023/music/singles.html
A few notes:
The A Giant Dog record was simply the one record I not only listened to a lot but also the one that would constantly earworm itself into my brain randomly, so I didn't see how I couldn't place it at the top of the list. I've loved the past few A Giant Dog records, but I still don't know how I like something that has so much theater kid energy.
Esther Rose, Yazmin Lacey, Glyders, This is the Kit, The Tubs, Andrew Gabbard, Stress Positions, Lael Neal, Miss Grit, CHERISE, Chief Adjuah, Bruxa Maria, Cel Ray, CerbĂšre, Dead Sea Apes, Dream Version, Gueersh, Hairband, La Culpa and Uni Boys were entirely new to me
I've liked several Mitski songs in the past, but this was the first full record I felt compelled to buy
The last three songs of the Bully record are undefeated
PACKS was a band I found on accident a few years ago â their first record was included in a shipping mixup â and I continue to be impressed with them
In my head I argue The Armed is basically Steely Dan for the 21st century
Girl Ray's first record was one of my favorite records of 2017, but I skipped the follow up. Pleasantly surprised to see how much I enjoyed this latest release
I played the three EPs I called out more than some records this year
I wish julie would release a proper record
Happy to see Bosque Brown and Las Nubes return with something new after a few years away

Ask any of Jonathan Roumieâs costars in The Chosen what itâs like to work with the 49-year-old actor as he beautifully inhabits the complicated Jesus of Nazareth and there are no pauses or loss of words in their response.
For example, Elizabeth Tabish, who plays devoted follower Mary Magdaleneâthe first person He heals onscreenâpraises Roumieâs honesty and credibility. âThere are moments where you catch yourself and [go], âOh, itâs really Jesus,ââ she says.
Noah James (Apostle Andrew) notes, âJonathan has set the standard for being a good castmate and partner.â Adds Amber Shana Williams (follower Tamar): âNot everyone is as kind as [their] character, but he really is.â
Roumie, who was baptized Greek Orthodox but later converted to Roman Catholicism (his mother, from Ireland, is also a practicing Catholic), doesnât take representing the Son of God lightly. Here, he talks about lacing up the sandals and how doing the show changed his spirituality.
The Chosen isnât the first time youâve portrayed Jesus. (Roumie played a more classic Jesus in films Heart of Mercy and creator Dallas Jenkinsâ The Two Thieves.) How did your interpretation of Him evolve?
Jonathan Roumie: The first thing I did was create an accent that, to me, was at least regional. I grew up with a father from Egypt and Arab family members, and my aunt is from Palestine, so it made sense to borrow it from that. It was a little rougher [originally] than it is now because I hadnât had a whole lot of time to refine it. But that became my entry into the character. It hasnât drastically changed. If you watch the first four or five seasons of The Simpsons, Homerâs voice [Dan Castellaneta] isnât quite where it is now, and all of the voices settle in after awhile. I think Iâve settled in.
I love that you just brought The Simpsons into this interview.
Iâm friends with Bishop Robert Barron [theologian and host of PBSâs Catholicism], and whenever we hang out we are literally making Simpsons references and doing Homer impressions. You appreciate greatness wherever you find it, you know?
What kind of conversations have you had with Dallas or others about your portrayal of Jesus?
I think when somebody is cast for a role, hopefully 95 percent of the work is already present in what they did in the auditionâor in their personalitiesâespecially with television. âKindness in the eyesâ is something Iâve heard a lot about my portrayal. There are moments when Dallas is just fine-tuning my performance, because heâs very clear about what he wants. Sometimes, I might have an approach and Iâll convince him to try it my way. Heâll be like, âYeah, that was betterâ or âNo, just do it the way I told you the first time.â [Laughs] You win some and you lose some.
Are you thinking ahead to the carrying of the cross and the Crucifixion scenes that youâll inevitably have to do?
I think about what it could look like. I have a lot of questions and ideas about my approach to it. But I canât really focus on it until weâre going to prepare for it because my mind has to be present with whatever the scenes are that weâre doing now.
How do you think The Chosenâs version of His final moments will differ from other portrayals?
Weâve had a lot more time for people to build a relationship with Jesus, so it probably wonât have to be as gruesome as, letâs say, The Passion of the Christ, as beautiful as that was. Mel [Gibson, who directed the 2004 film] took 72 hours, if youâre including the Resurrection, [and turned it] into two and a half hours [of movie time]. Weâre taking eight hours every season to tell a few weeks.
Instagram
Do fans ever treat you like youâre actually the Savior?
When people meet me, they tend to have a similar emotional response to me as they do the character. They know Iâm not Jesus, but they call me Jesus. Iâm always looking for ways to make that distinction. I just donât think itâs healthy for me to try to perpetuate the concept that I am the sinless Son of God, which I am clearly not. [Laughs] So, I try to gently receive the encounter with the spirit of Jesus. I try to do that without saying, âIâm not Jesus and I wonât sign this until you call me Jonathan.â The strangest example of that is when I met the Pope for the second time and he said, âOh, itâs Jesus.â
Pope Francis recognized you?
The Pope. As a Catholic, Iâm like, âOnly on TV. Only on TV.â And he laughed. It can be surreal at times.
How has this job impacted your spirituality?
Itâs completely deepened my faith and affected my relationship with God. It makes me want to be a better version of myself and the best human being possible. Iâve been put here to play this character for a reason, I believe. And if thatâs to allow people to get closer to their faith and to develop a relationship with God, then what more could I ask for as an actor? How many times in an actorâs career do you get an opportunity to have a real tangible impact on someoneâs life?

So what even inspired you to make each of the dinos what they are?
Honestly most of it was just me picking and choosing favorites. LOL
Scar was the first one I made (and originally going to be the ONLY one) and he's a utahraptor because that's my favorite dinosaur. :) That whole concept basically came from the idea of thinking it would be interesting to write about the main cast finding a dinosaur in the arctic and reviving them into the modern era. And I do enjoy writing it. lol Archie's concept came from me trying to pick a name for Scar. Archie was one of the names that was suggested for him, but I didn't feel like it fit him at all. But then I was like "that would be a cute name for an archaeopteryx though", and that's where Archie came from. Tina, Peter, and RĂ©my I did kinda all together after a friend gave me the idea of writing about how Scar got his scar (*Dramatically looks directly at Tina*). Tina I already knew had a spoiled brat sort of a personality and I thought what better choice of species than what was considered the prehistoric king of the jungle (aka, T-Rex)? Gave an extra layer to her self-entitlement. lmao Peter and RĂ©my are pterosaurs because I decided I wanted them to be flying dinos (Archie's a bird, but archaeopteryx were flightless birds!). Pterodactyls are probably the most commonly known species of them, so picked that for one, and rhamphorhynchus is my favorite pterosaur, so picked that for the other. :) The Pangean Oceans Guard trio was based off the concept of wanting water-based dinos. Irwin is a prehistoric fish, Kaitlynn is a prehistoric crocodile-like animal, and Yuki is a lesser-known species of plesiosaur because I felt that was more interesting. Andrewsarchus is my favorite prehistoric mammal, so that's why Andrew got what he did. Also half being lazy and half trying to be funny, I literally just split his species name in half to get his name. lol Went with an elasmotherium for Elliot because they're pretty cool animals and the history of people mistaking them for unicorns is pretty funny. They're more closely related to rhinos though. :) Delilah is a deltadromeus literally just because I think it's a cool dinosaur. Dilophosaurus is also one of my top 3 favorite dinos, so that's why Judy got that as her species. Also fun fact, her acid spit ability was based off the dilophosaurus from Jurassic Park. My favorite character in the whole movie. She was so real for eating that one guy. <3 I blame my one friend for the Fossil Fighters discussion giving me the idea for Shana's species. LOL Shanshanosaurus was one of my favorites to use in the game, so that's what she got (also random fun fact: I themed her palette off lemonade - yellow being normal lemonade, pink for pink lemonade, and green for limeade). Scientists have recently discovered that the Tarbosaurus is likely the same exact dinosaur, so I could've used that for a species name, but "Shana the Tarbosaurus" doesn't really roll off the tongue as well imo. Ouranosaurus is a pretty cool dinosaur, too, and I felt like the perfect species for a martial artist, so that's what Olly got. Similar reasoning for Iggy being an Iguanodon. I struggled a bit with doing her mouth area when designing her though, because Iguanodons have a weird beak-like thing and I wasn't exactly sure how to translate that into a Mobian design. So I eventually just decided to style it similarly to a bird beak, but with a flat front. And Dirk's the newest, literally just from the idea of "lol what if I made a sabertooth assassin". He's only been around for like a month or two though, so haven't developed him very much yet, but he's cool. :)
