‼️Please help me and my family raise money to help our village in Cameroon after a huge natural disaster left many without shelter, medical help, injured and with few ways of leaving. If you’re not able to donate please consider spreading awareness, thank you ‼️

Mutual Aim: All Safe Hands on Deck
Current progress: $20,655/$220,000
This is a link to Mutual Aim's newst campaign: All Safe Hands on Deck. A while ago, gfm shut down the fundraiser they hosted there and withheld the $39,000 they had raised for Sudan, Tigray, and the DRC (you may recall their previous campaign from this post). They've set up a new one on Zeffy to help fund their mutual aid projects, including:
1. Supporting other grassroots organizations who work closely with the people of: Congo, Amhara, Cameroon, Sudan, Tigray, and Haiti
2. The first installment of Mutual Aim's village in Chad.
3. Starting and supporting small businesses in Chad for locals and displaced people.
4. Creating and supporting the small businesses for the women and men of Congo in the displacement camps.
5.Breakfast for 400 displaced Congolese children for the period of one month.
6. Building temporary homes and supplying other basic needs for the people of Congo in the displacement camps, to protect them during the incoming rainy season.
7. Local mutual aid requests here in the global West.
8. Administrative fees for the organization to run programs efficiently.
Additional resources can be found in Shaky's (the founder of Mutual Aim) linktree

Yaoundé, Cameroon: Yaoundé is the capital of Cameroon and, with a population of more than 2.8 million, the second-largest city in the country after the port city Douala. It lies in the Centre Region of the nation at an elevation of about 750 metres above sea level. The outpost of Epsumb or Jeundo was founded between the Nyong and Sanaga rivers at the northern edge of the area's forests in 1887 by German explorers as a trading base for rubber and ivory. Yaoundé was chosen to become the capital of the colony in 1922. Wikipedia
