Severus had always loathed Lucius Malfoy’s elaborate parties. He threw them multiple times a year, celebrating every possible occasion, and Severus almost always declined the invitation. While he would know most people in attendance, Snape wasn’t one to socialise and a party was his idea of literal hell. However, given that Lucius was the closest thing Severus had to a friend, he made a point to show face at one event each year; often staying for no longer than an hour or so and spending most of the time hauled up in the kitchen alone. Which is where he happened to find himself tonight.
Having already circulated the crowds earlier in the evening, Severus was simply buying time before he made his goodbyes and returned home to the peace of Spinner’s end. The drinks and food were set out on a banquet table in the drawing room of the manor, meaning he often had the kitchen entirely to himself to drink bottle after bottle of FireWhiskey alone.
This evening seemed to be following the same suit as usual, until his tranquillity was disturbed by the entrance of a familiar young woman and her absolutely foul mouth.
“Fucking disgusting shit. Who the fuck does he think I am. And why the hell is it blue?” She muttered to herself, staring deeply at the electric looking cocktail in her hand. She made a direct bee line for the sink and dumped the entire contents of her glass down the drain.
Severus couldn’t help but let out a small scoff of approval at the girl’s words. He, of course, recognised her from her time as a student at Hogwarts. Not only had he been the Head of her House, and Potion’s Master, he often found himself telling her off for her bad language at the risk losing points from the other professors. Severus himself didn’t mind it so much, in fact he found it rather amusing, which must explain why he was no where near as irritated as he usually would be by the disturbance.
“Professor Snape?”
The girl stopped in her tracks, eyeing the Potion’s Master appreciatively. Her tone had dropped to an almost sultry timbre.
Severus remembered now why he always seemed to be giving the girl into trouble. This particular young woman had not been nearly as discreet with her girlhood crush as she may have expected. It had been obvious to him that she acted out in his classes simply to get a rise out of him, and best-case scenario she would earn a detention, prolonging their time together. The latter Severus did not indulge, the last thing he needed was a hormonal teenager making heart eyes at him from across the classroom.
From the way she looked at him now, the young witch had yet to grow out of her school-girl crush. Feeling the effects of the sheet amount of alcohol he had consumed; Severus couldn’t resist raking his eyes over the woman’s figure in return. She was after all, no longer his student.
While her bad habits still remained, her appearance had changed a lot in a few short years. Her hair was longer now, darker too; she wore it down as she always had, allowing it to flow down her back like a waterfall of obsidian waves. Her previously baby face had been replaced by much sharper features; high cheek bones and a defined jaw line, lips that sat in a permanent perfect pout, painted a deep shade of red that only enticed him further. The dress she wore, tight and black, displayed her curves from ever possible angle, the lowcut neckline drawing his eyes to the exposed swell of her breasts.
“Miss Y/L/N.” He stated simply, not allowing his voice to betray his less than appropriate thoughts.
“I didn’t expect to see you here.” She sauntered toward him, swaying her hips with each step.
It wasn’t lost on her that her old professor had just been checking her out, in fact she welcomed it. Since her crush on him first developed in her fifth year, she had long since dreamed of running into him again after she graduated. It pleased her to know that now they were reunited, he seemed to appreciate her just as much as she did him.
“I could say the same for you.” He raised a single eyebrow at her, his eyes never leaving her body as she approached.
“Not sure why.” She shrugged, settling against the kitchen island opposite him. “I’ve been at every party this year. Draco keeps inviting me.”
“As his date?” The simple question drew a wide smile from Y/N.
Was Severus Snape jealous?
“I assume so. But if he keeps making me drinks that look like the result of a chemical reaction, he doesn’t stand a chance.”
Severus scoffed again, amused by her words.
Y/N watched as took a long sip of his whiskey, draining the remainder of his glass.
“What are you drinking?”
“FireWhiskey.” He said plainly.
“Mind if I join you?”
Severus glanced at the woman out the corner of his eye as she came to lean on the cabinet next time him.
“Be my guest. However, this is the last of this bottle.” He said, as he filled his glass. “I’m sure there’s more in the next room, if you feel like re-joining the party.”
“Not particularly.” She huffed, folding her arms over her chest only to further accentuate her breasts. “Draco’s been fallowing me around like a lost puppy all night, I could really use a break.”
“And if I asked you to leave?” He tested, pining her with a stern gaze.
“I’d say tough. You don’t own this space, I have just a much right to be here as you do.” She never had yielded to his dominance.
“Well then.” He outstretched his arm to her, offering up his renewed glass of whiskey. “You might as well enjoy yourself while you’re here.”
Y/N accepted with a smile and a wink. Severus remained stoic, attempting to seem unfazed by her gesture. Y/N always knew Severus would be a tough nut to crack if this day came. But after years of dealing with a pining Draco, she could use the challenge.
“Why are you hauled up in here anyway? Avoiding someone?”
“Everyone.”
Severus couldn’t peel his eyes away from her mouth as she drank form his glass, her crimson lips staining the rim of the crystal. He felt his pulse quicken when her tongue darted out to collect any remnants of the amber liquid from her lips.
“Everyone?” She looked at him inquisitively, returning the glass to him. “Then why come at all if all you’re going to do is hide away in here the whole night.”
“Lucius is a friend. The least I can do is show face, but beyond I have no interest in attending these infernal events. So, I simply wait it out in here until such time as it is appropriate to leave.”
“Does it never occur to you that had you to actually venture out into the crowds, you might meet someone to help pass the time. A woman perhaps?”
Severus laughed into his glass, being careful to avoid the spot her mouth had just been. He knew this was her way of testing him, unfortunately he couldn’t help but fall for her bait; hook, line and sinker.
“I have no interest in any of the woman beyond that door.” His eyes finally met hers, their intense gazes boring into one another. A challenge to make the first move.
“What about those within this room, professor.” Y/N dared to venture.
That final word shook Severus back to reality; the sudden realisation that he was entering dangerous territory with a former student had him eager to make a swift exit.
“I think that may be my queue to go.” He set his now empty glass back on the counter.
“Wait. Stay for one more.” She pleaded, gripping his bicep in one last desperate attempt. It worked, Severus hesitated at her touch.
“It may have escaped your notice, Miss Y/L/N, but not only is the bottle finished, but so too is my glass. There is no ‘one more’.”
“I know where Lucius keeps his private stash. Draco and I would break into it all the time when we were younger.”
Despite his brain telling him it was time to go, Snape couldn’t resist the appeal of the young woman in front of him; her doe like eyes begging him to stay. It was obvious she was just as enticed by him as he was of her. And the fact remained; she was no longer his student. Still, it seemed wrong somehow.
“That would explain all those parties in the Slytherin common room I was forced to disband.” Severus raised a questioning brow.
“Guilty.” She smirked.
“You know those were the bane of my life. Dealing with drunk and hungover underage students wasn’t exactly how I planned to spend my weekends.”
“Just be grateful I was smart enough to avoid you, I can be quite the handful when I’m drunk.”
Severus didn’t know when she had gotten close to him again, but he wasn’t opposed to the way her hand rested on his chest as she fidgeted with the button of his robes.
“Show me.” He swallowed, nodding down to her.
Y/N led Severus through a door in the kitchen, to a wine cellar in the basement. In the corner of the room stood a solitary shelf of finely-aged whiskey, worth more than two teenagers could have even comprehended.
Snape watched on as the woman struggled to reach the top shelf where the best whiskey was kept. He made no attempt to look away when the hem of her dress began to slowly rise over the curve of her ass. He no longer felt so guilty checking her out down here in the dark.
“Clever girl.” Severus purred when Y/N handed him a dusty bottle for him to inspect. “These are what you stole?”
Y/N bit her lip and looked down guiltily.
“I don’t think we realised how expensive they were at the time. We just wanted to have a bit of fun.”
“Mmm. You always were trouble.” He eyed her once more.
“Still am.” She winked again.
Y/N led Severus back to the kitchen, leaving no trace of them behind besides the empty space on he shelf she had no intention of filling.
Despite the kitchen being full of glass and crystal ware, Severus opted to pour another singular glass for the two of them to share.
Y/N watched on fervently as Severus brought the glass to his lips, this time placing his mouth directly over where her lips had been. God, how she wished to know what his lips felt like on her, what he tasted like.
“Good?” She continued to look up at him, practically drooling now.
“Delicious.”
Y/N watched in awe as her ex-professor absent-mindedly run his tongue along a small part of the glass.
Without thought, Y/N brought a thumb to his mouth, brushing the pad gently across his bottom lip.
“Lipstick.” She explained. “Can’t have you leaving here looking like that, people will talk.”
“And what, exactly, will people say.” Severus closer to the young witch, his inhibitions slowly fading which each gulp of alcohol.
“They’d think you were with a woman.” She started, her voice now barely a whisper. “Of course, they wouldn’t know who at first. But seeing that colour on your lips, they’d begin to speculate. And when they saw me follow you out of here… We’ll they’d put two and two together, and jump to a whole lot of conclusions.”
“What sort of conclusions?” He passed the whiskey to her, allowing him to move closer still, their bodies close enough to touch.
“All kinds of things. The most obvious being that we kissed, but their minds wouldn’t stop there. Two people, alone in the kitchen at a party, we could have been up to anything in here.” With every word she spoke she drew Severus in closer, her lips calling to him like a siren to a sailor. “They’d assume we kissed. Maybe, we made out. But ultimately, they’re going to think we had sex. A teacher and his ex-student. How scandalous. There would be rumours about us; what we did in here. They’d say I seduced you with my body. They’d say you got me drunk. They’d say we fucked right here in the Malfoy’s kitchen, all while Draco searched the party for his supposed date.”
The mention of Draco began to boil Severus’ blood, he wasn’t oblivious to how close the pair were and he knew, if given the chance, Draco would have Y/N for his own. He wasn’t about to let that happen.
“Then let’s give them a reason to talk.” Severus stated firmly.
With his permission, Y/N threw herself at Severus. Her lips crashing to his hungrily. Like a starving hyena finally eating after being denied it’s prey for so long.
Practically throwing the whiskey glass aside, Y/N wrapped her arms around Severus’ neck, pulling her body closer to his. Severus felt his way around her; one hand coming to rest on the side of her face, the other gripping her rear possessively. The two became deaf to the world around them. Passion taking over as they devoured the other breathlessly.
Letting himself get carried away in the moment, it never occurred to Severus to move to a less public location. All sense of propriety gone with the taste of her lips.
Gripping her by her thighs, Severus lifted Y/N onto one of the kitchen cabinets, positioning himself between her open legs. Feeling the hardness of his cock at her core, Y/N let out a strangled moan.
Severus broke for breath, kissing his way down her exposed neck and chest, occasionally nipping at her pale white skin. Seconds before Snape was about to rip off the woman’s dress and fuck her in the middle of the kitchen island, footsteps and voices grew louder as they approached.
“Have you checked the kitchen, Draco? She can’t have gone far.”
“Not yet father, I’m just about to look.”
“Shit.”
“Fuck.” The pair swore in unison.
Y/N quickly jumped from her spot on the counter, making sure to right any clothing that may have gone awry. Severus let out a frustrated snarl at being torn away from Y/N.
“I’m going to kill that di-“
“Y/N?” Draco called out upon entering the room.
Neither Snape nor Y/N made an attempt to move away from the other.
“There you are. I’ve been looking everywhere for you.”
“Sorry Draco.” Y/N replied through gritted teeth. “I ran into Professor Snape. We we’re just catching up.”
“I see.” The younger Malfoy eyed them suspiciously. “My father is about to make an announcement,  he wants everyone to gather in the drawing room.”
“Of course.” She smiled falsely, making to meet Draco by the door.
“Here.” Severus stopped her, clenching his jaw and handing over the almost full glass of whiskey. “You’ll need it.”
“Thank you.” She grinned, lingering when his hand brushed against hers.
The three of them exited the kitchen and made their way through the manor; Severus taking a different route from the others, letting himself get lost in the crowd.
As soon as he was out of her sight, Y/N started to panic that she had missed her shot at the one thing she had been dreaming about since she was 15 years old. Draco had interrupted what was easily the hottest make out session of her life and now there seemed to be no chance of her and Snape actually finishing what they had started.
“What were you and Snape doing in the kitchen for so long?” Draco finally broke the awkward silence that had developed.
“Hmm. Oh, we we’re just having a drink together and chatted about all those times you and I pissed him off with our parties in the common room.”
“What are you drinking? What happened to the one I gave you?” He didn’t even seem to be listening to a word she was saying.
“Erm… I finished it. Sev- Snape poured me a glass of his whiskey.”
“That’s unusually kind of him.” Draco’s intense stare burned a hole in the side of her face.
“I suppose.” She shrugged. “I guess he just likes me.”
Draco didn’t get the chance to object before his father’s voice echoed through the room.
Zoning out after Lucius thanked everyone for coming, Y/N immediately began scanning the crowd for her beloved professor.
Having no luck even after the party commenced, Y/N downed the remains of her drink and followed Draco as he led her into the hall for a more private conversation. Backing her against the wall, Y/N had no way to escape the agony she was about to endure, knowing exactly where this conversation was headed.
“Y/N.” He began with a deep breath. “As you know, we’ve been best friends since our first day at Hogwarts. Our families have been intwined since before either of us were even born. We’ve had our fair share of fun together; both as friends and otherwise.” He hinted towards the few drunken nights where they had casually hooked up. It had meant nothing to Y/N, clearly Draco did not feel the same way.
“This year I have felt our relationship has evolved past friendship, and I think it may be time we take the next step. I like you, Y/N. I want you to become my girlfriend, officially.”
“Draco…” She sighed. They had been over this before, she wasn’t interested in being anything other than friends, he just couldn’t take the hint.
Before she had a chance to break the bad news to him a shadow fell over the pair; Severus Snape towered behind Draco, slapping a large hand on his suited shoulder.
“I’m afraid, Mr Malfoy, I do not believe Y/N is interested in pursuing a relationship with you.”
“Professor Snape.” Draco puffed his chest out, trying hard to hide the look of intimidation evident on his face. “With all due respect I don’t think this has anything to do with you.”
Severus moved the boy aside with ease, positioning himself between his two former students.
“I suggest you leave now, Malfoy, before your feelings get hurt.”
Severus did not warn him again. Instead, he took the opportunity to take Y/N in his arms and pick up exactly where they left off.
“Oh, thank god.” Y/N gasped, clutching at him desperately.
Just as passionately as before, Y/N captured Severus’ mouth with her own, pulling him in by his robes until their bodies were backed up against the wall.
“Want to get out of here?” Severus mumbled against her mouth.
“Fuck yes.”
Ignoring a dumbfounded Draco, the Potions Master and his former student made their way out of Malfoy Manor unable to keep their hands off one another.
Y/N’s dream was finally about to come true.

The marking of his students’ papers was growing monotonous and never-ending for the Potion’s Master. Even now cursing himself for the way he would always insist on himself to go through each and every paragraph of potion ingredients with a fine tooth comb. He muttered to himself as his eyes skimmed the text, then his eyebrow arched as he found himself impressed with a particular piece of work. He completed his first pile of books and then moved onto the next, huffing as he pushed one pile away and brought one closer.
A knock sounded upon his classroom door whilst he opened the first student’s book and his eyes briefly glanced over to it.
If they really want me, they’ll knock again, he thought to himself.
They did.
He exhaled slowly, almost irritably, and looked up properly this time, speaking loud enough so that his voice would carry to the door, “Come in,” He then mumbled under his breath, “If you really must.”
“Sorry to disturb you, Professor,” The voice spoke as a tall, dark haired woman entered the room without a moment of hesitation, “Oh, marking in your dinner hour?”
“My students appear to apply fifty fifty to either of the following; they simply lack common sense and therefore I need to doublecheck their pathetic attempts at stringing a sentence together or they host a little too much knowledge in that their writings are so… pointlessly long when they really could have summed it up in one or two paragraphs,” Snape spoke in a very matter-of-fact tone, “Either way meaning that I have to spend endless hours doing this.” He gestured toward the several piles of student books.
“And I assume your face tells them all that without you having to open your mouth.” She bit her lip to hide a grin.
Snape remained silent, jotting down something with his quill as he glanced back and forth over the written text in front of him.
“Nice candles in this dark dungeon, Professor,” She commented as she glanced around at the many lit candles scattered about the room, “Have you got enough of them?”
“They are to ward off unwanted visitors.” Severus replied bluntly.
“Oh, you don't need candles to do that.” She mumbled under her breath, her eyes still looking around the room.
“Was there something you needed from me, Miss Eleanor, or have you just come here to simply distract me from my work?” Snape asked in a flat tone, growing irritated by watching Eleanor wandering around his dungeon classroom.
“I just thought I'd drop by…” She was now behind him, “Since you have barely acknowledged my existence since… that night.”
“Forgive me if I have been a little invested in finding out exactly what level my fifth years are at prior to them taking their O.W.L.s.” He fought not to break character, though her words did cause a slight stir in him.
“You say the word and I will leave you be,” She placed a hand on his shoulder, “Relax, Professor.” She said with a gentle squeeze over his cloak, knowing full well he was the last person to relax in a situation like this, especially not on command.
Snape huffed quietly under his breath and pushed the books to one side, staying quiet for a few long moments until he felt Eleanor’s hand leave his shoulder, “Alright!” He spoke rather louder than intended, “Alright, I am sure this marking can… wait.” He turned his head to look up at her stood at the side of him.
“Wait for what?” She played dumb.
“What ever it is that you came here for.” He spoke in an oddly timid tone, almost as if there was a hint of fear within it.
“And what do you think I came here for?” She bit her lip, now standing with her hands on her hips.
“Do not play games with me,” Snape warned dominantly as he stood up, facing her, “I cannot stress how much I urge you to not-”
“Not play games with Professor Snape, hm?” She finished his sentence for him, her head now tilted upward as he towered over her.
“Let… me… finish,” He emphasised each word more than the last, gritting his teeth.
“Oh, I know how you like to finish, Professor…” Her lips curled into a smirk, “In my mouth.”
Snape’s throat suddenly became very dry and he hoped his face didn't look as warm as it felt. His hands both balled into fists and he struggled with how to respond, blinking hard as his mind helplessly transported itself back to that night. When he dared to look at her again, this wasn't helped by her saying,
“I can still feel the marks of your fingers on the back of my neck…” As she reached over one of her shoulders and lightly rubbed her fingertips back and forth over the red raised skin on her neck that his frantic fingers had caused whilst trying to hold her head in place that night.
“I… did not…” He cleared his throat sheepishly, trying to push down the knowing that her words’ effect would very soon show itself in his trousers, “D-Did not invite you in here to… to make mockery of me… in my own classroom…” It was as if trying to string a sentence together was suddenly a huge task.
“And, yet, you do not ask me to leave… Severus.” She spoke in a tauntingly seductive tone.
Though the way she had spoken would've made anything sound appealing, it was her calling him by his name that caught him off guard. Not once had she ever addressed him as anything other than ‘Professor Snape’ or just simply ‘Professor’, not even during that night. He didn't know if it was the shock of her calling him by his name and the knowing that she would be slightly afraid of how he would react to not being addressed by his usual title, or whether it was the intimacy of her now speaking to him on first name basis — something only those who he really let in would do in confidence.
His lips were still parted in brief shock as their eyes met again and he felt his heartbeat throb in his throat, urging him to respond to her new daring confidence of calling him by his name for the first time. He raised one of his large hands and cupped her cheek in it, both of them now as eager as each other for their lips to be pressed together.
“Do not think I forget how you pleaded,” She breathed against his lips, now standing on her tiptoes and placing her hands against his chest to secure herself in order to deliver a more firm kiss to his lips, “How you begged, Severus.”
“Watch your mouth.” Severus snarled against her lips, kissing her harder.
“What, watch my mouth now?” She asked in between kisses, “Or when it's filled with your cock?”
Severus felt a shiver down his spine and into the pit of his stomach. His cock jolted in his trousers, earning a shaky breath from his lips. Both of their eyes opened briefly, but the look on Severus’ face took Eleanor’s breath from her completely; she had never seen such want mixed with such a furious expression. Before she even had chance to question what was on his mind, it was soon answered for her when his lips crashed back down on hers at the same time his hands gripped her hips.
“Oh…” She gasped but it was barely audible, hearing a load of clattering on the floor whilst eagerly kissing him back and then quite literally allowing him to sweep her off her feet and place her on his desk.
Once upon it, arms snaked around his neck, it became rather apparent that he had swept all of his marked and unmarked books to the floor in one desperate motion. His hands switched to her thighs and he lifted them up, gesturing for her to hook them around his waist as they devoured one another’s lips.
“Mm.. are you sure you don’t want me on my knees again, Severus?” She spoke quickly in between kisses, her fingers tangled in his black hair whilst his were frantically trying to grab at the buttons of his trousers.
“No,” He answered almost immediately, popping the button and pulling down the zipper of his trousers desperately and inhaling shakily against her lips, “I’m going to fuck- you- senseless,” He emphasised each word with a harder kiss to her lips each time and then speaking lowly against them, “I suppose you’ve earned it.”
“Oh, earned it, have I?” Eleanor grinned, lightly grazing her fingernails against the nape of his neck and kissing him with parted lips as he began to whimper into her mouth, “Is this what a girl has to do to ‘earn’ Severus Snape’s cock?” She dug her nails in a little harder, “Just suck him off a few times?”
“That’s certainly a good start, Princess.” Severus growled against her lips, reaching under the hem of her skirt and tearing her underwear down her legs as their tongues tangled.
“I’m no fucking Princess, Severus.” Eleanor tugged at his bottom lip and dipped her hands into the front of his open trousers, repeatedly caressing her fingertips back and forth over his hardened length straining against the material of his boxers.
Severus hissed from the feeling and narrowed his eyebrows, already feeling precum seeping into the material as Eleanor practically jerked him off through them with the pressure she was now applying with her palm. If this had been the first time they had ever gotten intimate with each other, that would have been enough to get him off completely, and he hated that she was aware of that, too. Now he had built somewhat of a resilience to her touch, mainly her lips, causing him to last more than all of three pathetic seconds. Still, he didn't quite fancy his chances with the aroused state she had managed to get him in, in impressive timing.
“Enough.” He spoke lowly, pushing his own hand now between her legs, “In my classroom, you are whatever I say you are.”
Eleanor’s hand returned to her side and her legs parted more the higher his hand traveled, eventually gasping when she felt his fingertips lightly brush against her. She instinctively leaned up to press another kiss to his lips, purring against them as he continued to circle his fingertips.
“That’s right…” He whispered against her lips, “Just because I haven’t fucked you yet, doesn't mean this doesn't belong to me.”
“Fuck… me, Severus.” She gasped shakily, wrapping her legs around him and trying to bring him closer with her heels against his bottom. One of his fingers pushed inside her and curled each time she pleaded for him, making him smirk against her lips when she began to moan.
Without barely a second thought, he removed his hand completely and pushed her legs further apart, fumbling in the crotch of his underwear before thrusting himself forward in one, heavy motion. Eleanor gasped in pleasure and Severus gritted his teeth, exhaling shakily as he repositioned his hands on her thighs. Their eyes met for a brief moment before their lips smacked back together, desperately kissing one another as his desk began to move beneath them from his movements.
“Fuck, how do you feel even bigger than you do in my mouth…” She breathed against his lips, tangling her fingers in his hair.
Severus didn't answer. Instead, he bit down on her bottom lip harshly and earned a small squeal, speeding up his thrusts as he gripped onto her thighs harder. He pulled her a little further off the edge of the desk and moaned against her lips from the feeling of her legs tightening around him.
“Wh… where are we going?!” She gasped when she felt Severus lift her, now holding her around him as he spun them both around, “What’s this, a change of scenery from your desk to your board?” She asked through a muffled laugh as her back thudded against the display board fixed to the wall at the side of his desk.
“If you’re not a Princess, then don't expect to be fucking treat like one.” He grunted, pinning her against the board with his hips as his arms secured themselves around her.
“Mm.. yes, Professor.” Eleanor grinned and snaked her arms around his neck.
Her lips gradually parted as Severus’ relentless hips continued to slam upward against hers, her head falling slightly and her lips landing upon his neck. She suckled on the skin briefly before breaking the contact to gasp in pleasure from the impressive motions of Severus’ somewhat questionably inexperienced hips.
“Christ, if I’d have known you’d be this good to fuck, I'd have done it weeks ago…” Severus grumbled, feeling his cock pulsating in delight with each movement.
“Too much time spent with your cock in my mouth, hm?” She teased him, lifting her head so she could kiss his lips.
“I…” Severus swallowed hard, the images of her knelt in front of him now flooding his brain.
“This mouth?” She kissed him again, “How does it feel to kiss the mouth that has contained your cock so many times, hm?”
“Sh—Shut up.” He grunted.
“Do my lips taste of—”
“I said…” Severus butted in, inhaling sharply though clenched teeth. Though, he did think about it, only for a short while before their lips were pressed against one another again, “Shut. Up.”
Eleanor began to rock her hips down against his, creating a slight banging noise against the wall as the board behind her began to hit against it with each movement. The beads of sweat began to gather upon Severus’ forehead as they continued to kiss and moan in sync, surprising Eleanor at how quickly her orgasm began to approach. Unaware of how close Severus was, she squeezed her legs around his waist, digging her heels into his bottom and urging for him to keep going, as if her world would stop if he did.
“O-Oh, Prof…” Her eyes rolled back in pleasure as she squeezed them shut, “Severus!” She half cried out in pleasure as her climax fell victim to his thrusts before he clasped a hand across her mouth in an attempt to quieten her, “Sev, Sev, Sev…”
“Mm… yes?” He asked wearily, pressing their lips together but growing dizzy from his own orgasm fast approaching and Eleanor continuing to address and moan at him by his first name certainly not helping.
“Do you enjoy the taste of your own cock against my lips?” She asked, smirking tauntingly against his lips.
Severus broke the kiss immediately and pulled back, now pressing his lips so tightly together that they turned white. He stopped moving his hips, careless of whether he was cutting the ride of her orgasm short, and unhooked her legs from around his waist, making her feet land back on the floor.
“On your knees,” He glared darkly, “Now.”
“Severus…” Eleanor inhaled shakily, her eyes daring to look up into his black ones.
“Knees.” He terrifyingly emphasised it this time, grumbling under his breath, “I want to cum.”
Eleanor nodded quickly and began to kneel in front of him, almost afraid that she would reach her orgasm again just from the way he was speaking to her. She fluttered her eyelashes innocently and parted her lips, flattening her tongue for him as their eyes met. Severus stepped closer to her and cleared his throat, glancing down at his angrily red length still glistening with the remanence of Eleanor’s orgasm, also a droplet of precum threatening to drip from the tip and land upon her tongue.
“Good girl,” Severus exhaled deeply once Eleanor had leaned forward to push the tip of his cock into her mouth, gently suckling on the head tenderly whilst making sure to massage her tongue against the underside.
“Mm, mm…” She made soft noises each time more pushed into her mouth, feeling his hands beginning to entangle themselves in her hair.
Severus’ head gradually tilted back more and more as his length slipped further into her mouth and he gripped her hair slightly tighter when the tip of his length touched the back of her throat. Eleanor raised one of her hands and wrapped it around the base of his cock, starting to bob her head back and forth over him and following the movements of her head with her fist.
“Now…” Severus exhaled shakily, trying to talk through the moan taunting his lips, “I ask you a similar question, you little brat…” He felt his breath hitch from her actions, “Do you enjoy the taste of my cock with you splattered all over it?”
Before Eleanor even had a chance to reply, he swatted her hand away from him and firmed his grip on her head. Eleanor gazed up at him with a willing expression and tightened her lips around him, the head of his length now lingering in her mouth as she teasingly traced the tip of her tongue back and forth over the leaking slit. That bolt of pleasure was enough for Severus to begin thrusting himself back and forth into her mouth, throwing his head back with painfully quiet shouts of bliss; afraid he would bring too much attention to his classroom if he did so, but unsure how long he could keep himself quiet. One of his hands slipped to the back of her neck and his fingertips began to re-raise the reddened lines on the back of her neck again.
“Fuck, fucking… fuck,” He grunted, his hair covering his face now as it whipped in time with his thrusts, “Agh!”
Eleanor’s eyes began to water from the force of his hips and the constant bounce of the tip against the back of her throat each time. Thankfully, she was used to his liking of her mouth, so his size wasn't that much of a surprise.
His hands began to tremble, hers now pressed against his thighs to keep herself still, and he felt the all-too-familiar warmth in his stomach rapidly begin to rise. His moans caught in his throat and he suddenly stopped his hips, leaving only the head of his cock in her mouth again and weakly gesturing down to her;
“Fu… fucking make me cum…” He could barely speak, his toes already curling in his shoes in anticipation.
Eleanor immediately obeyed his command as if it was second nature at this point and began to suck on the head whilst her hand frantically pumped up and down his entire length. It wasn't long before his cries of, “Oh, oh, oh-!” quickly developed into sticky warmth landing on her now flat tongue. She gazed up at him with heavy eyes and watched as his face screwed up in pleasure, hands shaking madly in her hair as he struggled to grip onto anything from the ecstasy now coursing through him.
“E-Eleanor, ugh!” He whimpered, now stumbling back slightly and catching himself with his hands weakly gripping the edge of his desk.
“Mmmh…” Eleanor gradually slowed down the movements of her fist but continued to wiggle her tongue against the sensitive ridge, making him twitch madly from the sensitivity of it.
“I-If I open my eyes and find that you have not had the decency to swallow what you caused, I shall have to put a stop to these… encounters.” He spoke still out of breath, leaning back against the desk as his heavy eyes opened.
He was met with the sight of Eleanor still on her knees and licking her lips before they settled into a proud grin, their eyes meeting. The sight alone sent a shiver down Severus’ spine, and he feared his cock would never soften if that image was forever in his mind.
“I hope this has allowed the encounters to continue, then.” She bit her lip, getting to her feet.
“It does make my dinner hour go rather quickly, and my students’ markings may suffer, but…” He sighed softly, watching as she stood.
Eleanor began to nonchalantly tuck him back into his underwear and fasten up his trousers, arching a brow as she looked up at him again, “But?”
“I suppose I can make an acceptation for something like this to take place again.” He replied in a calm tone, trying to ignore the feeling of her hands upon him still and trying to distract himself by looking at the time, “But, I am afraid I am going to have to ask yourself to leave my classroom… for now, at least.”
“Don’t strain yourself, Professor…” Eleanor jokingly rolled her eyes and fixed her dress properly, walking over to the door, “It is not good for a man of your age.” She giggled.
“Actually…” Severus spoke, his footsteps evidently close behind her and making her silently fear a loud verbal repercussion of her daring words. She stopped at the door and turned around to face him, raising her eyebrows, “Drop ‘Professor’. I liked it when you called me ‘Severus’.” He admitted.
“Oh?” Eleanor smirked, “I couldn't tell.” She spoke sarcastically.
“I would tell you to watch your mouth, Miss Eleanor, but I am actually rather fond of doing that myself.” He swallowed hard, his lip twitching.
“Mm…” She grinned, placing her hand on the door handle, “Have a good rest of your day.”
“And you, too.” Severus nodded.
“In fact, one more thing…” Eleanor quickly turned around and bent down, picking up the torn underwear that had been carelessly tossed to the floor from before and then standing up straight again. Severus’ eyes narrowed and his breathing suddenly quivered when he felt her finger push into the waistband of his trousers, then underwear, pulling it away from his skin slightly and tucking her underwear into the front of them, “This way, I can always be wrapped around your cock… Severus.” She spoke in a seductively smooth tone, quickly pecking his lips.
Severus barely had time to take a breath before she had left his classroom, let alone form a response. Instead, he watched her leave from the doorway; once again on his own, once again counting down the seconds until their next encounter, and once again visibly aroused.

Title: How Could You

The chilly October air whistled through the cracks of Hogwarts Castle, making the dimly lit corridors seem even more unwelcoming. Y/n stood alone in the Herbology greenhouse, her hands gently resting on her stomach as she stared out into the stormy night. She had rehearsed this moment countless times in her head, wondering how Severus would react when she told him the news—news that was supposed to bring them joy. Yet now, a knot of anxiety tightened in her chest.
She and Severus had been through so much together. The first wizarding war, the losses, the weight of their responsibilities—each had left a mark on their souls. But this? This was supposed to be the start of something new, a future free from darkness. And yet, as the time approached to tell him, doubt gnawed at her resolve. She wondered if Severus would accept this new life they had created or if the years of bitterness and mistrust would cloud his judgment. She feared the latter.
That night, as she entered their quarters, she found Severus hunched over his desk, his long fingers dancing across the parchment as he graded essays. The warm glow of the fireplace cast long shadows across the room, flickering over his face. He glanced up when she entered, his dark eyes meeting hers briefly before returning to his work.
“Severus,” she began softly, standing by the fire and warming her chilled hands. She wasn’t sure how to approach the subject without overwhelming him.
“Mmm?” he grunted, barely acknowledging her presence. He seemed distracted, irritated even.
She bit her lip. “There’s something I need to tell you,” she said, her voice trembling slightly. The fire crackled in the silence that followed.
Severus set down his quill and folded his hands, his expression unreadable as he turned to her. “What is it?” he asked, his tone clipped.
She took a deep breath, forcing herself to meet his gaze. “I’m pregnant, Severus. We’re going to have a child.”
For a moment, the room was suspended in silence. His eyes widened ever so slightly, shock flashing across his features, but it quickly disappeared, replaced by something cold, something dangerous.
"Pregnant?" His voice was quiet, dangerously calm. "And whose child would this be?"
Y/n felt as though the floor had been ripped out from beneath her. Her stomach dropped, and her hands instinctively moved to her belly as if to protect the child from the venom in his words.
“What… what do you mean?” she stammered, her heart racing.
Severus stood up, the chair scraping against the floor as he loomed over her. His expression was dark, his face twisted in suspicion and anger. “You’ve barely spent time with me for the last few months,” he spat. “You expect me to believe that this child is mine? Or is it someone else’s—someone who’s been giving you attention that I apparently have not given you?”
Y/n’s mouth went dry. The implications of his words struck her like a physical blow. “How can you say that? Of course, this is your child!”
He sneered, pacing back and forth in front of her, the shadows casting him in an almost sinister light. "Perhaps it's Lockhart's," he said bitterly, the name dripping with disdain. “He always seems to enjoy your company in the staff room. Smiling, flirting.”
She couldn’t believe what she was hearing. Severus, the man she loved, the man who had always been cautious with his emotions, was accusing her of the unthinkable. Her heart ached with disbelief, with pain.
"How dare you?" she whispered, her voice breaking. Tears welled in her eyes, but she refused to let them fall. "I have never been unfaithful to you. This child is yours, Severus. How could you doubt me like this?"
Severus turned his back to her, his hands gripping the edges of his desk. His shoulders were tense, his breathing shallow. "You've given me every reason to doubt," he hissed, his voice shaking with barely contained rage. “I’m not blind. I’ve seen the way you look at him.”
Y/n’s heart shattered at his words. The weight of his mistrust was unbearable. “I can’t believe you think so little of me,” she said, her voice barely above a whisper. “I thought we were stronger than this.”
For a moment, neither of them spoke. The tension between them was suffocating. Severus remained silent, his back still turned to her. His coldness was more painful than any words he could have spoken.
Unable to stand the sight of him any longer, Y/n turned and left the room, her heart pounding in her chest as she rushed through the castle corridors. Tears blurred her vision, but she didn’t stop until she reached the sanctuary of her private office in the greenhouses. Once there, she collapsed into a chair, her body trembling as sobs wracked her frame.
The following days passed in a blur of misery. Y/n avoided Severus as much as possible, retreating into her work and isolating herself from the rest of the staff. Her energy waned, her appetite disappeared, and dark circles formed under her eyes as sleepless nights took their toll. She was a shadow of herself, and even her students began to notice the change.
It was Minerva McGonagall who finally intervened. The older woman had always been perceptive, and when Y/n dragged herself into the staffroom one evening, pale and withdrawn, Minerva couldn’t help but notice.
“Y/n, dear,” Minerva said gently, placing a hand on her arm. “You don’t look well. Is everything alright?”
Y/n forced a weak smile, though her voice betrayed her exhaustion. “I’m fine, Minerva. Just… tired.”
But Minerva wasn’t fooled. She guided Y/n to sit down, her eyes filled with concern. “This is more than just tiredness. You’ve been avoiding everyone, even Severus. What’s going on?”
At the mention of Severus, the fragile dam holding back Y/n’s emotions cracked, and before she could stop herself, the tears began to fall. She covered her face with her hands, unable to speak through the sobs that overtook her.
Minerva’s heart softened, and she pulled Y/n into a comforting embrace. “It’s alright, dear. You can tell me.”
Y/n clung to her, the weight of the past few days finally spilling out in broken words. “He thinks… he thinks I cheated,” she managed between sobs. “He doesn’t believe… the baby’s his.”
Minerva’s eyes darkened with anger, and her lips pressed into a thin line. “That man,” she muttered under her breath. “I should’ve known something was wrong.”
Pulling back, she looked Y/n in the eyes and spoke firmly. “You need to take care of yourself, Y/n. Not just for your sake, but for the baby’s. Go to your quarters and rest. I will speak to Severus.”
“But—” Y/n began to protest, but Minerva wouldn’t hear it.
“No buts,” she said sternly. “You need rest. Now go.”
Reluctantly, Y/n nodded, too drained to argue. She made her way back to her quarters, her body aching with exhaustion, and collapsed onto the bed. Sleep claimed her almost instantly.
Meanwhile, Minerva stormed through the dungeons, her robes billowing behind her as she made her way to Severus’s office. She didn’t bother knocking, pushing the door open with enough force to startle him from his desk.
“Minerva,” Severus began, but she cut him off with a glare that could have frozen flames.
“Do not ‘Minerva’ me,” she snapped, her voice icy with anger. “I’ve just spoken to Y/n, and I cannot believe what I’ve heard.”
Severus stiffened, his eyes narrowing. “If you’ve come to lecture me—”
“Oh, I’ve come to do far more than lecture you, Severus Snape,” she said, her voice rising. “How dare you accuse your wife—your pregnant wife—of infidelity? How dare you doubt her loyalty after everything she’s done for you?”
Severus stood, his expression defensive. “You don’t understand—”
“I understand perfectly well,” Minerva interrupted. “You’ve let your insecurities and paranoia cloud your judgment, and now you’ve broken her heart.”
Her words hit him like a physical blow. He looked away, his jaw tightening as guilt gnawed at him. “I… I didn’t mean to—”
“Didn’t mean to?” Minerva scoffed. “You’ve done enough damage with your thoughtless words. She’s devastated, Severus. You need to make this right.”
For a moment, Severus said nothing, the weight of his actions settling heavily on his shoulders. When he finally spoke, his voice was barely a whisper. “What should I do?”
Minerva’s gaze softened, though her tone remained firm. “Go to her. Apologize. And for Merlin’s sake, show her that you love her.”
---
Severus found Y/n lying in bed, her back to him, her breathing slow and steady. He stood in the doorway for a long moment, unsure of how to approach her. The guilt he had buried over the past few days rose to the surface, and for the first time, he allowed himself to truly see what he had done.
He knelt beside the bed, his heart aching as he gently touched her shoulder. “Y/n,” he whispered, his voice hoarse with emotion.
She stirred, blinking groggily as she turned to face him. Hergaze met his, and for a moment, they simply stared at one another in silence. Her eyes were swollen from crying, her cheeks pale and hollow from days of stress and exhaustion. Seeing her like this—so broken, so fragile—made Severus’s chest tighten with shame.
“I’m sorry,” he whispered, his voice barely audible, as though he feared the words would shatter the moment. “I’m so sorry.”
Y/n’s expression didn’t soften. She sat up slowly, clutching the blankets around her. “Sorry for what, Severus?” she asked quietly, her voice thick with emotion. “Sorry for doubting me? Sorry for accusing me of something so awful? Or sorry because you realized you were wrong?”
Severus swallowed hard, his throat constricting as he searched for the right words. He had always been a man of few sentiments, preferring silence to vulnerability, but this moment demanded more. It demanded that he expose his fears, his insecurities, and that was terrifying.
“I… I let my fears get the best of me,” he began, his gaze dropping to the floor. “I’ve never been good at trusting people, and I’ve… I’ve never had much reason to believe in happiness. When you told me about the child… I panicked.”
Y/n shook her head, tears filling her eyes once more. “Panicked?” she echoed, her voice quivering. “You didn’t panic, Severus. You accused me of betraying you. You accused me of carrying someone else’s child. You didn’t even give me a chance to explain, you just… shut me out.”
“I know,” he whispered, his own voice breaking as he knelt by the bed. “I know. I was wrong. I let my insecurities poison my mind, and I hurt you in ways I can never take back.” He reached out, but hesitated, unsure if she’d accept his touch.
Her silence was deafening. The weight of her heartbreak lingered in the air between them, thick and suffocating. Severus closed his eyes, unable to bear the sight of her pain any longer.
“I’ve spent most of my life in darkness,” he continued, his voice raw with emotion. “And you… you were the light that saved me from it. But I’ve never believed I deserved that light. I’ve always thought it would slip through my fingers eventually, like everything else I’ve cared about. When you told me you were pregnant, all I could think about was how I didn’t deserve it. How I didn’t deserve you.”
Y/n’s breath hitched, and she looked away, her hands trembling in her lap. She wasn’t ready to forgive him, not yet. But hearing him speak this way, hearing him admit his vulnerabilities—it chipped away at the wall of resentment that had built up over the past few days.
“I never cheated on you,” she said quietly, her voice steady despite the emotions roiling inside her. “I never even thought about it. I love you, Severus. I’ve always loved you. And I thought you knew that.”
Severus nodded, guilt tightening in his chest like a vice. “I know. I should’ve known.”
The silence between them stretched again, but this time it wasn’t quite as suffocating. It felt like the beginning of something fragile, something that could be mended if they were both willing to try.
“I don’t know if I can ever forget what you said,” Y/n admitted, her voice barely a whisper. “But… I want to try.”
Severus’s breath caught in his throat. His dark eyes, once cold and guarded, softened with relief. He reached out again, this time taking her hand in his. His touch was tentative, as though afraid she might pull away, but when she didn’t, a glimmer of hope flickered in his heart.
“I will spend the rest of my life trying to make this right,” he promised, his voice thick with emotion. “I don’t know how to be a father, Y/n. I don’t know how to love properly, or how to protect the people I care about without pushing them away. But I want to learn. I want to be better—for you, for our child.”
Y/n stared at him for a long moment, her heart torn between the pain he had caused and the love she still felt for him. Slowly, she brought his hand to her stomach, resting it gently against the small swell there.
“This is your child, Severus,” she whispered, her voice cracking with emotion. “Our child.”
Severus’s breath hitched, and he closed his eyes as he felt the warmth beneath his hand, the life growing inside her. It was real. This was real. And he had almost destroyed it with his own insecurities.
“I’m sorry,” he whispered again, tears brimming in his eyes as he knelt before her. “I’m so sorry.”
For the first time in days, Y/n allowed herself to truly look at him—the man she loved, the man who had saved her in so many ways, but who was also deeply flawed and scarred by his past. She could see the pain in his eyes, the regret etched into every line of his face. And though her heart still ached, she knew that healing was possible.
With a shaky breath, she leaned forward, pressing her forehead against his. “We’re going to be parents,” she whispered, tears slipping down her cheeks.
Severus let out a ragged breath, and before he could stop them, tears of his own began to fall. He hadn’t cried in years—decades, even—but in that moment, the weight of everything he had almost lost, everything he had taken for granted, came crashing down on him.
“I know,” he whispered, his voice breaking. “And I will never doubt you again. I swear it.”
Y/n wrapped her arms around him, pulling him close as they both cried—tears of relief, of sorrow, and of hope for the future that lay before them. They stayed like that for what felt like hours, wrapped in each other’s arms, holding on to the fragile thread of their love.
And for the first time in days, Y/n felt a glimmer of peace. It wouldn’t be easy—there would be more arguments, more misunderstandings, and more moments of doubt. But they had each other, and now they had something more.
A family.
And that, Y/n realized, was enough.
The next morning, as the sunlight filtered through the windows, Y/n awoke to find Severus still beside her, his arms wrapped protectively around her. For the first time in days, she felt the tension in her chest loosen. The road ahead was uncertain, but together, they could face it.
And as Severus stirred beside her, his hand instinctively resting on her stomach, Y/n smiled softly to herself.
This was the beginning of something beautiful.

Severus Snape x Fem!Professor!reader
summary: New year means having to teach sixth years how to brew an Amortentia potion. Personally Severus most disliked potion having to endure the same smell, but this year he smells something different. A familiar smell but different.
warnings: cursing, small age gap(bout 5-6 years), hufflepuff!reader, Maverick is used as a last name(kinda self indulged ofc),

As the end of the first trimester approached, the atmosphere in Hogwarts grew charged with anticipation—and trepidation. For Severus, this marked the dreaded time of year when he had to oversee the brewing of the Amortentia potion. Known for its complexity and emotional fallout, this potion stirred up feelings and reopened wounds he preferred to keep buried. It was a notorious unit for both students and him, as it often led to the revelation of hidden affections and, inevitably, heartbreak.
Severus found himself seated at the long table in the Great Hall, his dark cloak enveloping him like a protective shroud. He mentally prepared himself for the chaotic lessons ahead, bracing for the inevitable array of disastrous attempts at potion-making by the teenagers under his instruction. He could still vividly recall the laughter, tears, and arguments that erupted whenever someone inadvertently exposed their deepest feelings for another through the potion's enchanting aroma.
What troubled him most was the haunting scent of Amortentia itself—an evocative mixture that, over the years, had become inseparable from his own memories of what he could only make out as love. He loathed the bitter reminder of his unrelenting feelings for a woman who had long since departed from his life. The whiff of that potion always transported him back to a time filled with both warmth and sorrow, forcing him to confront the guilt that lingered after her death.
Over time, he had reconciled himself to the inevitable encounters with that familiar trifecta of scents—honey, apple spice, and ginger. Each element was a reminder of both joy and grief, binding him to memories he wished he could forget but could never escape. As he sat there, Severus silently cursed the potion, aware that it would once again peel back the layers of his guarded heart.
The sound of students talking around them echoed through his ears as he rubbed his temples irritably, “Everything alright Professor?” a soft voice asked. Looking up Snape's eyes meet the young Earthology professor's eyes, a concerned look in her eye her brows frowned. He watched her for a moment as she sat down to the right of him, moving her teal dress robs as she did so, once settled she pushed her curls out of her face turning towards him.
“Everything is just fine…” he drawled.
She hummed a small smile had pulled her glossed lips up, “You have to brew the Amortentia, a personal favorite I presume.” she teased.
He scoffed lightly, not in a rude way but humored. “You could say..”
“Well, I hope it goes well. Let me know if you need anything.” she offered.
He expressed his gratitude to her before they both returned to their meals. Severus found himself developing a genuine fondness for the new teacher. Though she had been at Hogwarts for some time, her youthful spirit set her apart among the faculty. The head of Hufflepuff, she was cherished by both her students and peers for her kindness and selflessness. Her capacity for empathy was something he admired deeply.
Severus realized he enjoyed her company more than he often admitted, and he hoped she felt the same. She had a way of gravitating toward him, and it was clear to her that they had formed a friendship. At first, Severus tried to distance himself, convinced that it was best for her. He remembered that day when Dumbledore had asked him to accompany her into the Forbidden Forest to gather a herb she needed for her class. It was during that outing that she had bravely confronted him, wondering if he held a dislike for her since he had been keeping his distance. Those few exchanged words had opened a door to understanding.
In truth, his avoidance had stemmed from a worry that he made her uncomfortable. But after that conversation, everything changed. They began to talk more freely, and soon, he found himself seeking her out for supplies and support, realizing how much her presence brightened his days.
There were moments when they would sit side by side, grading assignments together, and her presence brought a sense of comfort that was hard to describe. Conversations flowed effortlessly, often marked by shared knowing glances that spoke volumes, and a dry, sarcastic humor that only they understood. He cherished how she had a knack for calling him out when he was being unreasonable, as well as how fiercely she defended her students, even when they tested her patience just as much as they did his.
He still vividly recalled the first time she cried in front of him. Concern etched on his face, he gently asked if she was alright, and in an instant, she broke down. With her head resting against his chest, her body trembled with sobs, and he found himself instinctively wrapping his arms around her, holding her steady until she found her breath again. Afterward, he brewed her some tea and patiently listened as she poured out her feelings, offering a supportive shoulder and advice whenever she sought it.
He would always remember how she expressed her gratitude, her words wrapping around him like a warm embrace. Over time, they developed a deep understanding of one another that many would describe as intimate, revealing the strength of their bond in a world that often felt overwhelming.
Manirva would make points to call out their friendship that maybe there was more to it which he’d always brush off. Not because of her, he’d be lying if he said he didn’t have feelings for her. But he couldn’t confess when he smelled another woman in a love potion. He wouldn’t hurt her because he was guilty of being in love with another, and simply what if she didn’t feel the same? There he would simply have ruined a perfect friendship, he enjoyed her company too much to ruin their bond. Not to mention she was significantly younger than him, so why would she waste her time on a grumpy man? Manirva always rolled her eyes at the excuse she was an adult capable of seeing something good, somebody perfect and capable of giving her the things she deserved.
He Wished Manirva wouldn’t put ideas like that in his head, that he allowed himself to think like that. Cause in truth Manirva was right, she was perfect for him, she was extroverted and full of love, she pushed Severus in situations he deemed uncomfortable or not his scene. He’d let her to, god if it was anyone else he would never. He’d never teach students how to dance with another professor, he’d never make small jokes to amuse the people around him. He’d never ask for another’s opinion, or value one opinion as he did hers.
He liked that his dry sarcastic remarked could make her giggle, he loved the sound of her laugh. How her voice would get a bit higher and quicken when she was excited. He did admire her, her warm complexion matching her aura, how she always wore a beautiful smile, how her eyes always remained doe like, how she talked with her hands and body, how she was always so considerate of her students. He’d never admit it but she surprised him when she got upset for the first time at some 5th year boys disrespecting her and her class she scolded them, her voice stern but she never raised it. He liked seeing her like that. The first time she scolded him, his heart beat heavily in his chest he couldn’t help but grin which only made her angrier. How she scoffed glaring at him, soon to storm away.
“What are you grining about Severus.” A voice teased.
“Nothing mind yourself professor Maverick.” He spoke quickly turing his head away from her.
“Boo don’t be like that whatcha thinking about..” She asked again leaning on the table in front of them her body closer to his. God she smelt good, she always did. She wasn’t even that close to him but the smell of fresh vanilla, shea butter, and the strong smell of lilies as if she rubbed their pollen onto herself, She smelt sweet yet floral.
Turning to face her he said “Thinking about how many teens are gonna end up bothered and hurt by the potion they're oh so excited to brew.”
Her jaw dropped “Severus!” she pushed at him. he chuckled lowly “It happens every year also meant one last couple I have to separate in the halls.”
“That's terrible..” she spoke a smile still on her face, Severus only shrugged. The great hall soon began to empty, students headed towards classes. Y/n smiled at him before leaving herself, he watched her as she left her curls bouncing behind her, the satin rob gliding behind her.
As classes began student gathers around Severus as he began to brew the example for them. He wanted to walk them through every step to ensure they will do it correctly. He’d take his time answering questions as she walked them through, soon he’d have them start as he continued. Students would quietly talk amounts them selves asking their professor questions just for clarification. As he started to finish up, he smelled something sweet yet floral. It didn’t smell of honey, apple spice and ginger as it once did.
No, it smelled of Lillies, fresh vanilla and shea butter.. The sweet aroma hitting his nose, Severus stoped blinking hard to collect his thoughts for he’d just stop talking in the middle of instruction. He glanced up noticing the sixth years still looking at him, too bad for going unnoticed. Severus quickly wrapped his lesson up, letting the student to work amongst themselves. Severus couldn’t help how fast his heart was beating, he was in love with her. He wanted to feel relieved, he was even but again where did her feelings lye?
The end of the day came pretty quickly, the lay period of the day being a prep for himself. As he walked though the halls he was stoped by Manirva and Albus “Severus would you be interested in observing Professor Mavericks lecture with us?” Dumbledore asked.
“Now why would I do that?” he questioned his brow raised, he was gonna go but didn’t wanna make it painfully obvious to the women that stood next to the headmaster.
“Oh come, Severus, it gives you something to do. Plus we both know you want to anyway.” she smiled at him.
He merely rolled his eyes at her playful comment as she impulsively grabbed his arm, her enthusiasm radiating like the bright autumn sun. When they finally arrived, a rich, earthy aroma enveloped them, a refreshing scent that had the power to soothe even the most troubled minds. Severus couldn't help but admire her classroom; it felt as if it had been tailored specifically for her vibrant spirit.
The structure resembled an intricate glass greenhouse, the walls primarily composed of crystal-clear windows that showcased a breathtaking view of the winding river and the majestic forest beyond. Sunlight filtered through, creating a warm, golden glow that illuminated the space.
Inside, the room was a beautiful tapestry of agriculture, each carefully arranged without a hint of chaos. Vines hung gracefully from above, their tendrils curling playfully, while vibrant flowers in varied hues added splashes of color to the serene environment. The ceiling, open to the sky, invited nature's elements inside, allowing birds to flit about and the gentle breeze to playfully rustle the leaves. It was a sanctuary of growth and life, reflecting her passion for the natural world and inviting all who entered to take a deep breath and appreciate the beauty around them.
Severus watched intently as she moved gracefully around the classroom, engaging her students with animated gestures and an infectious enthusiasm. She cast warm smiles at the professors seated in the back, momentarily breaking the professional atmosphere with a touch of friendliness. Unlike the customary robes she usually donned, she wore a stunning dress made of satin, a delicate shade that shimmered between cream and soft gold.
The dress featured long, fitted sleeves that hugged her arms elegantly, while the bodice clung to her figure with a tailored silhouette. As it cascaded down, the fabric relaxed and flowed, creating a gentle, flattering silhouette that gave the impression of ethereal movement. The neckline of the dress sat high, framing her face beautifully and stopping just at the base of her neck, while the back was artfully designed with a slight opening that ended just above the bottom of her shoulder blades.
This design revealed a glimpse of the tattoo that adorned her back, piquing Severus’s curiosity. He had often wondered about the size and artistry of it, a mystery he never dared to inquire about. He suspected it spanned a considerable portion of her back, possibly trailing down her arm, yet she had always kept it concealed beneath her robes until now. The dress accentuated her figure perfectly, hugging her torso down to her hips before falling away softly, emphasizing the graceful lines of her shape.
Her long curls, usually cascading around her shoulders, were swept back in a playful yet messy arrangement held together by a simple clip, allowing the full view of her radiant face. In this moment, she appeared both elegant and approachable, a striking image that captivated him as she continued her lesson, lost in her passion for teaching.
“You’re staring Severus.” Manirva whispered a smirk on her lips. He could hear Albus chuckle next to her.
“Quit it.” he hissed, causing the older women to giggle quietly.
The lesson soon came to an end student leaving her class as well as the headmaster and Manirva, the class room seemed to be still. Severus soon approaching her hands fidgeting behind his back.
“What keeps you, Severus?” She asked as the tall man walked towards her.
“Thought we would walk after.” he spoke.
Her eyes roamed over him, taking in every subtle shift in his posture as she noticed a tension in his shoulders that suggested he might be feeling nervous. Her head tilted slightly to the side, her curiosity piqued by the unspoken words hanging in the air between them. "That's all? You seem like you have something more to say?" she inquired, her voice laced with both intrigue and a hint of challenge, encouraging him to reveal what was clearly weighing on his mind.
She sensed an underlying tension in the air but chose not to press the issue. Severus, on the other hand, felt a restless urgency bubbling within him. His fingers itched to reach into his pocket, where the small vial lay hidden, and offer it to her. With a heart full of hope, he silently prayed that she would catch the faint, intoxicating scent that lingered around him. He yearned for the moment of recognition, convinced by Minerva's encouraging words that there was a possibility she could truly see him for what he was. Yet, the thought of disappointment loomed over him like a dark cloud; the very prospect of her not feeling the same way sent shivers down his spine, amplifying his anxiety. It was a delicate balance of hope and fear, one he could hardly contain as he awaited her response.
“Sev— You can talk to me, You seem bothered..” she spoke up.
He took a small breath “Smell this for me would you, need another person to see if the student made this right..” He lied holding a small vile out for her.
Seeing the potion seemed to make her nervous. A noticeable swallow came from her, her poster becoming more straight. “How come not ask Manirva? she’s more skilled in potions than I..” She was, she was nervous.
“Perhaps, but i’m here with you… I take your intellect into consideration.” He spoke carefully, his eyes still watching.
She turned her gaze momentarily, her eyes drawn to the delicate vial nestled in his hands, its contents swirling with a soft pink hue. Slowly, she leaned closer, her intent focus unwavering as she inhaled the potion’s fragrant aroma. It was clear to her that this potion had been crafted with meticulous care, each ingredient harmoniously blended. The scent enveloped her senses—a warm blend of rich sandalwood intertwined with the earthy notes of herbs, creating a symphony of fragrance that felt almost ancient.
There was also a deep undertone of musk, an essence that hinted at secrets whispered and stories untold. As she breathed in, she caught a whiff of old parchment, soaked in ink, evoking memories of dusty tomes filled with forgotten knowledge. Her heart raced slightly as she looked at him, peering through her fluttering lashes, and her voice emerged like a gentle breeze, barely audible yet filled with sincerity. “I say the potion is perfect...” she murmured, the words hanging in the air like a delicate promise.
The two professors stood closely together, the warmth radiating from their bodies creating an intimate atmosphere. In the stillness of the moment, Severus could distinctly hear the rhythmic thumping of her heartbeat, a sound that seemed to echo and fill the space between them. He glanced at her, curiosity etched across his features. “What is it that you smell?” he inquired, his voice low and deliberate, as he sought to understand the sensations that intertwined them in this charged silence.
Her mouth opened slightly only to close for a moment. “I smell sandalwood, musk, mixture of herbs, and old parchment.”
Severus breath became still, his eyes never leaving her. He watched as she moved his hand causing the potion to go towards his nose. “Now tell me..” she spoke her face close to his, “What is it you smell Professor?”
“I smell vanilla, not fresh but sweet vanilla. I smell shea butter and cashmere, and lillie’s like the strong pollen that comes off them.” He spoke watching her expression. Her face seemed to stay still but the smallest twitch of her lip and how her brows raised was enough to show that she was just as relieved as he was.
There was a sense of relief between the two, a quiet relief. The fact the both had held back for so long just to realize they had feeling for each other. No, that they were in love with one another.
“So when were you going to say something..” She asked playing with her fingers.
Snapes brow raised “How could i have been so sure.. I didn’t want to ruin what we had if you didn’t reciprocate the feelings I hold for you.” He said.
She smiled a small snort coming from her “Severus, i fear i was very loud in the way i felt for you… You think all the things the words my actions were casual? just friendly?”
That made his stand up a bit straighter “ Well..” he couldn’t say anything because now that he thought about it she was right. He was just scared.
He covered his face with his hands out of embarrassment, his how could he have been so incompetent. He could hear he soft laugh, the feeling of her fingers peeling his hands off if his face. Greeting him with a warm smile, “Sev no need to be embarrassed, i’m just glad you feel the same.” she spoke out of relief her eyes looking over his face.
Her hands fell from his face to his chest, “May i kiss you?” he asked suddenly.
“Please do.”
His lips met hers carefully, his hands holding her face gently as he kissed her a soft groan leaving her as their lips met. Their lips moved in sync, the kiss anything but quiet he tilted her head back deepening the kiss. Her grip on his robes became tighter pulling him closer to her. Shifting his body he pushed her against her desk. For only a moment they pulled away admiring each other or a seconded. He lifted her a bit so she sat on her desk, his hands readying on the sides of her as she held his face while they kissed. Perhaps it was the heat of the moment, but as soon as her back fell against the wooden desk and things fell off, she really couldn’t care less.
Severus hands felt up her sides as he kissed on her neck, soft moans left her lips the beautiful sounds making Severus forget any self respect he had for himself in the moments. His grip on her dress tighten the sudden sound of buttons poppingcaused him to stop. His eyes met hers only resolving a look of ‘forget it’, so he did pulling her back up in the window behind them he could see her bare back. The tattoo she only seen the top of run down her spin and bleed off into flowers and vines. If he didn’t have any human decency he’d have her right then and there, she slowed her self to be vulnerable with him and that was something he’d never take advantage of.
The sudden knock at the door caused him to drop her leg and pull her up and off the table quickly, a whisper of reparo and her dress was fixed. Straightening them selves up as the door opened the came face to face with Albus and Manirva.
“Hello!— is there anything i could help you with professors?” Y/n choked out clearing her through of a sudden stutter.
The older professors shared a glance to one another a mischievous grin on the two. “Oh nothing Dear just came to see if you and Severus where going to come and join us for dinner.”
God was it already Dinner time, Severus though. They had gotten carried away with themselves. He watched as Manirva walked up to her her hands carefully fixing Y/ns collar and her thumb whipping under her lip.
“Seemes you made a mess of her.”
“Pardon?” the both said to her.
Manirva pointed to her lips “Have to say Severus never thought a dark cherry would look good in you.” she giggled turning on her heels.
The two younger professors looks at one another and needles to say they weren’t gonna get away with it, smeared lipstick, messy hair and rosy cheeks. Not to mention the mess of school work that had fallen from her desk.
shit.
“Well let you clean up, shall we be expecting you for dinner or are you both going to eat in Your Chambers?” Albus hummed and silly grin hidden under his beard.
“uhh- I think we’ll stay in, we’ll see you at breakfast.” Severus spoke up.
“Ahh, alright you two. Remember you both have class in the morning..” Albus said walking towards the door.
The door soon shut, the pair both groaning quietly for how badly they were just caught. The two weren’t ever going to hear the end of it.

You two fall asleep together but you get up in the middle of the night to get a glass of water. Snape rolls to his side reaching out to wrap an arm around you. But suddenly wakes when he finds the bed empty wondering where you got off to. He smiles softly seeing you return to the bedroom. You snuggle up against him once under the sheets feeling his arm wrap tightly around your waist as he pulls you close to him. Letting the rise and fall of his chest against your back lull you back to sleep.

Shameless, pt. 15
Severus Snape x professor!reader fic
Tumblr media
Shameless Masterpost
hey guys.................. dont kill me. i'm so sorry for the incredibly lengthy hiatus.... i had no motivation, each time i opened the file to type i'd type a couple words, maybe a paragraph and close it. i finally found the motivation to finish this chapter recently, i'm hoping it stays. it's been a rough couple months, so hoping this can help me feel a bit better!!
i felt really guilty for sort of abandoning the fic where it was, but i couldn't force myself to write anything, there was no creative juice, i think i sort of burnt myself out. and for the previous posts saying i was back, i thought i was, but i'd have the smallest spark of inspiration and try to write, but then nothing happened, and i felt bad so i didn't want to say something like, sorry, i lied. :(
hopefully this chapter is okay, i know most of you won't like it, but i'm so glad i finally finished it, it was one of the hardest to write because i had so many ideas on how it'd end and effect the whole story itself, so i had to make sure it made sense.
i can't believe you guys are still here after so long, it made me emotional to see all of your asks and comments and likes, i was just floored to be honest, so thank you so much for your unwavering support. i love you all so so much. honestly. holy shit. this has been a journey. <3 i hope you guys are all doing brilliantly.
warnings: lack of snape, swearing, mentions of adultery, slight domestic violence, verbal abuse at the end
You didn't know where to go. You felt... lost. You couldn't exactly go back to your quarters, not with Ben there, you didn't need more questions about why you were crying your eyes out at this time of night. It's not like you could tell him the truth.
So, you did what anyone would: go for a midnight walk. Well, at least that's what you thought anyone would do when they had nowhere to go. You'd hoped that the fresh, cold air would soothe your burning lungs, and the gentle breeze would dry your teary eyes. In an even deeper, darker part of your mind, you also hoped that Black would find you. Perhaps that would make everything... easier.
With tears still streaming freely from your eyes and heavy feet, you padded towards the large, magnificent doors that led to the outside with your arms wrapped around your body tightly; trying your best not to breakdown until you were alone. Your hands were still shaking as you pushed them against the doors, opening it a tad as the cool wind blew through the crack and into your face. You gasped a little at the sharp breeze, but nonetheless you slipped out, and made your way into the courtyard. The temperature was a little more biting than you had anticipated, and so you squeezed your arms around yourself a little tighter, walking towards the infamous wooden, crooked bridge.
As you sauntered through the courtyard, the only noises you heard were the owls hooting in the distance, the gentle breeze brushing through the burnt-amber leaved trees and the faint clack of your heels against the cobblestoned ground. In all honesty, it did feel a little eerie to the say the least, but at this very moment that was the least of your worries. All you wanted was a little time alone to cry, or grieve what could have been with ...Severus.
Gods, it hurt to even think his name, let alone speak it.
You reached the wooden bridge, and you stopped in the middle of it; leaning against the intricately carved columns to gaze out at the highlands. The moonlight casted a gorgeous glaze-like reflection upon the Black Lake, and it twinkled beautifully, almost hypnotising you like an illusion. Your eyes flicked up to the moon and glanced around it, staring at the glittering stars surrounding it like a perfect painting. Only times like this did you miss teaching Astronomy. As your mind reeled back to your first year teaching at Hogwarts, you relished in the time where you did not know the man named Severus Snape, and suddenly your heart sank in your chest like an anchor dropped at sea. You were so naive back then, unknowing of what was to come.
As the memories of you and Severus flooded your mind like a dam breaking, you let yourself cry. You could still feel his lips on yours, his fingertips gently tracing the curves and grooves of your skin, the words he'd whispered into your ear - it was all there, stained on your skin, like a tattoo - or perhaps a branding. And now you had to live with it. You weren't sure if you'd survive this time, especially not with how deeply you felt for him. You were torn between pretending he didn't exist and trying to talk to him, perhaps even telling him how you felt, but truth be told you were petrified of how he'd react. Would he even look at you again with those glittering black eyes you'd come to adore so hopelessly? Would he dare speak to you again, knowing that he'd charmed you? Maybe he'd relish in the fact that he'd done so, take pride in bewitching you, and make you hurt for it. You knew Snape could be rather cruel, your school days here with him as your teacher was enough for you to know that.
All these unanswered questions swam through your head and you felt yourself becoming suffocated from them, and it suddenly felt as if your lungs had filled with water, drowning you. You sobbed helplessly as you slid down the wooden wall behind you with your hands against your face, the rough edges scratching your back through your clothes rather uncomfortably.
"Y/N?" A voice came from beside you, and you froze. You turned your head away from them and quickly used your sleeve to wipe your eyes, drying the tears that had fallen from them. Only one person has a voice as soft as the one you had just heard.
You gave yourself a moment to gather yourself before even attempting to use your voice.
"Hello, Remus." You croaked quietly, sniffling.
"What on Earth are you doing out here so late?" He questioned gently, and you heard him take a step towards you. "Are you alright?"
"Quite dandy," you sarcastically quipped, sighing deeply, "I'm brilliant..." You turned your head to face him, and immediately, his face softened at the sight of your own. You were sat up against the side of the bridge, knees up against your chest and your arms wrapped around them; nose and eyes red, wet with tears. Remus quickly dropped down to his knees beside you, placing a soothing hand upon your forearm.
"What happened?" Remus asked, careful to keep his voice quiet and soft. With empty eyes, you stared into his worried ones, and instantly you felt terrible. The last thing you wanted was people worrying over you.
You looked away, down at the ground. "I..." you mumbled, sighing, "it's a... long... story." You spoke slowly. From the corner of your eye, you saw a small smile quirk up on Remus's lips.
"I've got time, my dear." He replied as his thumb brushed your forearm, silently encouraging you to talk. You felt at ease in Remus's presence, it was almost like he had a calm aura around him, and naturally your body relaxed beside his. You took a deep breath.
"Erm," you choked, sniffling again, "it's Se... Snape." You couldn't bring yourself to say his first name without crumbling into a million pieces.
Remus let out a gentle breath. "Snape, of course," He tutted, glancing between you and the ground. "What's he done?" The fact that Remus reacted like he had expected Snape to have hurt you, further broke your heart. Were you the only one to have seen through his icy exterior?
"Broken my heart," You laughed dryly, and you had to fight back another bout of tears. Remus's brows furrowed in confusion at you. "We... I... Look, I'm not sure how to explain this to you. But... I fell..." You trailed off, unable to finish your sentence. Your heart hurt too much. You only hoped that Remus knew what you were about to say.
Remus blinked and stared at you, shocked. Clearly, the two of you had hidden your 'relationship' well - so well that everyone was oblivious to it. "You fell...?" He frowned.
"In love... with him..." You almost whispered, avoiding Remus's eyes. You weren't sure if you'd be able to handle the look in them.
"You're in love with... Severus?" Remus repeated, and you squeezed your eyes shut at his words. They were like daggers, stabbing your bleeding heart. It was almost like you could feel it trembling inside of your chest, begging you to free it from this cycle of torment. "But... Aren't you with... Ben? And... Severus... he's..."
"I know," you sighed, noticing his confusion, "I had feelings for Severus before I met Ben. And it sort of just, like, spiralled out of control, and now, erm, here I am- Gods, I should have just listened to Minerva, I wouldn't be here right now, hurting like this." You ranted, another strangled sob leaving your throat. Remus watched you, and his eyes softened. He felt terrible for you. "She warned me, Remus, why didn't I just listen to her?!" You cried, letting your head fall into your hands.
"Y/N," Remus whispered, reaching out a cautious hand to pry your face from your hands. With a soft gasp, you looked up with teary eyes, and he wiped a stray tear from your cheek. "We don't get to choose who we do and don't fall in love with. We follow our hearts blindly, most of the time, unknowingly." He said, and moved his hand from your wet cheek to your shoulder, rubbing it soothingly. "It's beyond our control who we love."
There was a moment of silence.
"...What do I do, Remus?" You sobbed softly, sniffling, looking at your knees.
"Have you told him?"
"No."
"I think you should."
"But what about Ben? Shouldn't I... deal with... that first?" You sniffled again. "And what if Severus doesn't feel the same way about me? Then what?"
Remus paused for a moment, thinking. You looked up at him. "What if he does?" He said, a small, comforting smile tickling his lips as he stared at you.
"Well- from the way he treated me earlier... I truly doubt it, Remus." You scoffed, glancing away from his pitying brown eyes.
Remus sighed, and you clenched your jaw. "Regret is a terrible thing, Y/N," he said, "it's such a short word, yet it stretches on forever." Your eyes were glued on the ground and your body was still, but your mind was running a million miles an hour.
You sat there in silence for a short moment, thinking deeply. Remus was right. You'd regret it for the rest of your life if you didn't tell Severus how you felt. That chance of him reciprocating your feelings was small, but it was still there. If he didn't feel the same, fine, you'd move on. Eventually. And if he did?...
"...Alright," You nodded sheepishly. "I'll tell him. I just... need to, erm, work out when and more specifically, how. Like, do I just straight up blurt it out? Work my way up to it? H-how do you know it's the right time?" You rambled with tears still falling from your eyes, glancing through them at Remus who sat beside you with a soft expression upon his features.
"You'll know." Was all he said before slowly standing and holding out a hand for you to take. Graciously, you took it, and Remus pulled you to your feet. "Feel better?" He hummed, casting a glance out at the moon, then a worried look suddenly struck his eyes. You noticed and frowned slightly at his behaviour.
The moon?
"A little." You forced a smile upon your lips, and lifted up a hand to wipe the remaining stray tears upon your red cheeks. Remus looked back at you, and returned your smile. "How come you were out so late?" You asked curiously, brushing off his odd reaction to seeing a moon.
"A walk in the night does me good," Remus shrugged, and began to walk back towards the castle with you beside him. "Clears my head."
"Ah, well, I suppose I'm glad you found me, then." You chuckled awkwardly, folding your arms against your chest.
Remus smiled at you and placed an arm around your shoulders, giving you a squeeze. "Let's get you back to your quarters, Y/N, you look like an ice block." He hummed and lead you back to the castle, but not before throwing another glance over his shoulder to the almost-full-moon.
Faint, footsteps trailed down an empty corridor, and a billowing black cape followed with it. As Severus marched, his chest felt horribly heavy, almost like there was a boulder chained to it, weighing him down. He couldn't figure out why he felt like this, and it was starting to make him a little irate. He knew it was something to do with you since it had started after you'd stormed out of his office.
As Severus was about to round a corner, the sound of familiar, sweet laughter rattled through his bones, and immediately he froze. Without a doubt, he knew it was you. Only you could have laughter that sounded like the sweet songs that birds chirped in the summer mornings. The breath in his lungs suddenly vanished and he quickly swooped himself behind a bookcase, poking his head out from the side of it to see who you were with.
The moment you appeared, that boulder chained to his chest became heavier, and he felt himself lean against the bookcase he hid behind. Severus's eyes widened as they glued themselves to the man beside you - Remus Lupin. His blood boiled at the sight.
What could have Lupin have said to make you laugh like that? He'd only heard you laugh like that when you were with him, not Lupin.
From a distance, he couldn't make out what the two of you were talking about, but it was obviously hilarious. Severus's jaw clenched as he watched Lupin place a hand upon the small of your back, guiding you.
Guiding you... inside your quarters?
Snape hissed silently to himself as he stared, his sharp and hardened eyes welded to the back of Lupin's head like molten metal. As your door shut, Snape could only huff in disgust with bared teeth. What were the two of you doing in there? It was past midnight and you and Lupin seemed happy as Larry to go into your quarters. Snape couldn't bear the idea of you and Lupin alone together - let alone the fact that Lupin had had his damned, grubby paws on you. Severus clenched his jaw in a violent fashion, very clearly upset at how you'd moved on so quickly, especially with another professor at Hogwarts. Was this your thing? Bewitch every lonely professor that you laid your wretched eyes upon and then move onto the next? Did it make you feel better about yourself in some fucked up way?
An uneasy, bitter feeling twisted inside of his chest as he pictured the two of you alone and he whipped around out of spite; the swoosh of his long, black cloak filling the silent hallway. How could you move on so quickly, so... easily?
"Never did I think I'd see the day that someone told me they fell in love with a man like Severus Snape." Remus laughed softly as he waddled to your sofa, glancing at you as if to ask if it was alright to sit. You nodded at him.
"And yet here we are." You hummed with a flat mouth, clearly not as amused as your friend was. "Sometimes I wish I was as emotionally guarded as he was, but then I remember how bloody miserable that would be." You mumbled, earning an abrupt laugh from Lupin who'd settled on the couch with a soft sigh.
Ben was nowhere to be seen, so you assumed he was asleep in the bedroom.
"Severus is an interesting character, most definitely," Lupin nodded and you turned around, walking towards him to join him on the sofa. "And I applaud you for being able to tame him. If it's any consolation, only one other woman had been able to, though I think it was... unintentional, if you will."
"Unintentional?" You questioned, your tone curious. Though almost instantly, that curiosity was killed as the thought of Severus with another woman stabbed at your fragile heart. "Actually, I'm not sure if I want to hear this right now." A dry laugh slipped from your lips and you exhaled sharply as another wave of tears prickled at your waterline.
"Alright." Lupin said softly, taking notice of your quivering voice. He stood up with a breathy groan and shuffled towards you, slinking an arm around your shoulders to pull you into his chest. It was calming, and the way he hugged you reminded you of all the times your parents would comfort you as a child. As Lupin gave you a supportive squeeze, it was as if he'd accidently pushed the button for the waterworks - hot tears began to stream down your cheeks once again, and you sobbed quietly into his wrinkled shirt.
"Hey," Lupin sighed as he watched your shoulders shake with sorrow. His hand sat on the top of your arm, squeezing it gently: a dire attempt at consoling you. "Don't cry, Y/N, it'll pass."
"Idon'twantitto-" You mumbled into his shirt, sniffling loudly. Lupin's brows furrowed together in confusion as he paused for a brief moment, silently trying to decipher what you'd just said.
"What?" He asked gently, leaning his head down so he could hear you a little better. You lifted your head from him, sighing, another heartbreaking sniffle sneaking out of your reddened nose.
"I don't want it to." You repeated yourself, lifting a hand up to wipe your wet eyes lazily.
"I know. But it will." Lupin sighed too. "Severus is... a very... damaged man," He cringed slightly at his choice of words, but he continued, "I'm not even sure that you could help him- or fix him."
At this point, you were staring soullessly at the floor, and the only thing you could feel was Lupin's chest against your shoulders. Were you and Severus really a lost case? You felt like you'd made so much progress, he'd opened up to you, he'd... he also ran away again. Perhaps your friend Remus is right.
"I think I want to be alone." You suddenly blurted out, slowly glancing up at the professor with glossy, red eyes. Lupin blinked at you, confused for a moment, though he quickly came to. He didn't blame you for saying such a thing - you'd just had your heart ripped out, to put it simply.
Remus didn't say anything, he only nodded, offering you a kind, yet pitiful smile - and that hurt you slightly. You didn't want his pity, in fact, you didn't want anyone's pity. "If you need anything, you know where to find me." He muttered, brushing a hand through your hair softly. You shut your eyes for a moment and sighed, a small gush of guilt filling your body. Here Lupin was, trying to console you, and you're kicking him out. You hoped he didn't take it personally.
"I'm sorry, I... I just need to be alone." You quickly offered. Remus shook his head and frowned at you.
"No, I understand. See you in the morning, Y/N. Feel better soon." The professor smiled at you and this time it wasn't rich with pity, but kindness. He tipped his head at you and began to shuffle his way towards the door, opening it with a quiet creak from the oak. Before he disappeared out of your chambers, Remus turned around and smiled at you once more, slipping away.
Seconds after the door shut, a drowsy-looking Ben opened your bedroom door, popping his head out. He squinted at the bright light, clearly having just woken up. That settled your nerves slightly, since you'd just spoken about Severus with Remus, only a few metres away from Ben.
"Are you crying?" Ben yawned, his bushy brows furrowed in either confusion or annoyance - at this point you couldn't tell.
"No," You coughed and turned around to pretend to do something else as you wiped at your eyes. "I'm fine, go back to bed, Ben." A curt sigh fell from your lips, and almost immediately you heard footsteps padding closer to you. "I'm fine." You repeated, listening as his feet stopped behind you.
"What happened?" Ben asked, the tiniest hint of sympathy in his voice made you shiver slightly.
"Nothing, it was just a rough day at work, honestly. I'd rather not talk about it." Your brows shot together as you tried to keep the tears at bay, but you couldn't help but think about Severus as Ben placed a hand on your waist in an attempt to pry you away from the countertop and towards him. You didn't want anyone else's hands on you but his.
"Hey," Ben said softly, though it felt heavy in your chest. "It's work. It won't matter in a day or two." You were silent. "Y/N?"
"I need a drink." You muttered and forced yourself to look at Ben, cringing slightly as you walked past him and towards a glossy wooden cabinet in the corner of your chambers. You rarely drank, and if you did, it was to either celebrate something, or forget something.
Another uncomfortable silence fell on top of the pair of you.
"Want one?" You asked with no emotion in your voice.
Ben hesitated for a moment, his groggy eyes staring at the back of your figure, silently trying to deduce you. "...Sure."
You were going to regret this.
You'd changed into comfier clothes, more specifically a pair of forest green silk shorts and a matching camisole top. Sitting on the edge of your bed, you faced Ben as he was sat on the windowsill opposite you, nursing his glass of wine. After a few strong sips, the pair of you were chatting and reminiscing like old pals. "Remember that time when I turned Peter Kipling into a weasel in McGonagall's class?" Ben giggled drunkenly, elbowing you gently as you nodded with tears in your eyes, an amused grin spread across your face.
"Oh my- I forgot about that!" You wheezed, smacking your lips together. "Didn't you get... like... at least- like a month's detention for that?" You laughed, slurring, taking another sip of your glass of Elven wine. You winced slightly at the strong aftertaste as it burned your throat. That was to be your last drink, you couldn't take much more.
"Ohh, yeah, I d-id," Ben hiccuped, his laughter dying out as he sighed; his tired eyes falling onto you. Shuffling under his gaze, you felt slightly uncomfortable. A brief yet thick silence suddenly engulfed the two of you like a slow-burning fire. Ben stood from where he'd been sat, stumbling over to where you were, stopping just in front of your knees.
"I miss talkin' to you, Y/N." He sighed, taking his hand and placing it upon your cheek; carressing the apple of it with his rough thumb. The strong scent of alcohol on his breath made you gag a tad - you were drunk as well, but the smell of it wasn't pleasant, especially from his mouth.
Your breath hitched slightly at the sudden contact.
"..Yeah." You answered quietly albeit awkwardly as you stared up at Ben. Though, all the wine you'd consumed was making him look like someone... else - the darkness wasn't helping either, in fact it was fueling your hallucinations. The dark cast of a shadow from the lit candles behind him made his nose appear larger, and his cheekbones a little more pronounced.
Slowly, he crouched down until you two were eye-level, his hands slipping to your ankles. Your body stiffened slightly at the feeling. "Ben.." You warned, sighing as the drunk buzz and pleasurable tingle from the pads of his fingers was starting to cloud your mind.
"Whaat?" He whispered, heavy-lidded eyes still glued to yours as his fingers began to trail up your calves. Ben began to stand up slightly, pushing his face dangerously close to yours, and so you leant backwards to avoid him, your back gradually making contact with the bed. He shuffled forwards slightly, pressing a knee against the edge of the bed to balance himself.
You shouldn't be doing this, you knew that, but Gods, the alcohol was truly fucking with your morals and mind.
Would it hurt?
Just a little... taste...?
You shut your eyes as you became lost in the feeling; his fingers reaching the backs of your soft thighs, a breathy sigh falling from your lips. Slowly, you opened your eyes again as Ben's smalelr nose pressed into your neck, followed by his wet lips. You gasped as his hands found your torso, his fingers pressing a little too harshly into your flesh.
Severus.
Memories of him suddenly flooded your mind like a reservoir breaking a dam, flushing out anything that didn't embody him. All the times Severus had attacked your supple flesh beautifully; pulling gorgeous moans from those pink lips of yours. Your brows furrowed together as your body silently yearned for his touch. It hurt.
You were stuck between stopping this and just shamelessly indulging in the dark, twisted fantasy of pretending that Ben was Severus. You were being so selfish. And yet, you didn't care, all of the emotional turmoil that you'd been through tonight was pushing you to the edge - all you wanted was the man who didn't love you, who only saw you as a quick fuck, maybe some midnight company.
You shut your eyes again and tried your best to imagine him. With a sigh, you ran your hand up Ben's neck and into his hair, though it wasn't the same. You missed the way you'd tangle your fingers in his raven-black locks, gripping on it as he'd ravish your neck and breasts like some mad professional. Sighing frustratedly, you moved your hands down to his shoulders, expecting the rough, black fabric of Severus's robes, and yet you were met with the flimsy, thin fabric of Ben's white cotton t-shirt.
You felt so fucking pathetic.
Knock, knock.
You froze, eyes snapping open as quick as lightning. Was there someone at the door?
"Did you hear that?"
"Hear what?" Ben groaned drunkenly as he continued to kiss your neck. Unfortunately for him, the feeling had worn off the second you heard those knocks.
"The knocks at the door."
"You're.. imag-ining things, baby." Ben sighed and hiccuped once more, his uncomfortably hot breath on your neck made you shiver. At this point, Ben was much more drunk than you, and so with your remaining energy, you rolled him off of you. "Whoa- heey-!" He groaned as you slipped from underneath him, padding to the door. You didn't bother to check if he was alright, the only thing on your mind was who was at your door at this time of night.
Was it him? Did you want it to be him?
Reluctantly, you reached out your hand to open the door.
Nobody was there.
You frowned and leaned forwards, poking your head out to glance around. The corridor was empty, completely empty. That was incredibly weird, did you imagine those knocks? You sighed softly - perhaps you were a little disapppointed. Turning around, you shut the door, only to be faced with Ben sat sloppily in a chair with a face like thunder.
"Waitin' for someone?" He asked with a flat tone, his head lazily cocked to one side, still clearly drunk.
"What?"
"You know what I'm talkin' abou', Y/N." Ben said with the same tone, standing up, albeit unsteadily. You swallowed as he inched closer towards you, dragging his feet, your toes burying themselves against the hard wooden floor beneath your feet. "I know about the notes you kept. From him." He spat, pointing his finger at your face. Your heart instantly began to gallop; the pounding of its beats echoed in your ears like a harrowing scream in the night.
The notes...
"Excuse me?" You choked out, brows furrowing together in complete shock.
This was not how you wanted this to go down.
"I went through yer little drawers. In yer greenhouse," Ben scowled, his nose turning upwards in what you could only describe as disgust. "All of his little notes were perfectly preserved, and mine? Well-" Your mind was running so quickly that you could barely even listen to what he was saying - the fact that he went behind your back and invaded your privacy was the only thing sticking out to you as of right now. Your skin felt like it was on fire as the anger began to flood your veins.
"You went through my drawers, Ben?!" You yelled, shoving a finger in his face.
"That's the only thing you care abou'?! Not the fact that you secretly- obviously, have some sort of fucked up... thing for a man who treats people like they're the tiniest bit of shit on 'is shoe?!" Ben screamed back drunkenly as he bared his teeth, stomping towards you and smacking your finger away. "The fuck is wrong withya?"
You knew this could get ugly quite quickly, especially as Ben was drunk - a lot drunker than you. But at this moment, your anger was far too hot to even think about cooling things down.
You scoffed at him, your lips twitching upwards into a disgusted sneer. "What the fuck is wrong with you?! Going through my stuff?!" You shouted at him, taking a step backwards as he began to get a little too close for comfort. "That's not okay, Ben!"
"How long has it been going on?" Ben asked, his tone suddenly calm. That put you on edge.
You paused for a moment, pondering on his question. It was probably best that you didn't answer that. "We're done here, Ben." You clenched your jaw, silently readying yourself for some sort of explosion.
"How long, Y/N?!" Ben yelled. The way the whites of his eyes were basically screaming at you made you feel terrified. In this current moment, there was only one pair of arms that you wish you were being held in. The man in front of you backed you up to the door, and you could only stare at him, for your wand was foolishly placed inside the pockets of your robes hung in your bedroom. Tears burned in your eyes as the guilt you'd tucked away was finally waking up and holding your body hostage with it's incredibly heavy weight. "Did you fuck 'im? Is that why ya never slept wit'me for months? Because you were too ...busy being his fucktoy?" Ben slurred, his face red and lips wet with saliva from how he'd been shouting.
"Shut up!" You cried at Ben as the tears began to break free from you and run down your cheeks like melting diamonds. This was so not the way you wanted this to go. "Please, just stop!" You were sobbing at this point as his words pierced your heart, quickly reminding you of what Severus truly thought of you.
"Oh, fuck sake, stop with the cryin'," Ben growled, drunkenly shoving a hand into your shoulder, sending you barreling backwards and into the door. You winced slightly as the bone of your shoulder blade made contact with the metal bar on your door. "Whiny bitch, yer the one in the wrong, not me!" He grumbled with a heavy sigh, turning away from you.
"Shit, Ben-" You gasped as you leaned forwards and pushed yourself off of the door, however, a sharp and excruciating pain shot across your shoulder as you tried to move it. "What the hell were you thinking?!" You whined, stumbling to the countertops of your kitchenette to lean on it. Your shoulder was fucking killing you.
"Me? What was I fuckin' thinkin'?!" A sarcastic, manic laugh fell from his lips and immediately you regretted your choice of words. The man spun on his heel, and suddenly he donned a wand in his hand. Now, you were scared for your life. "You're one to talk... you know what... I'm going to have you fired... yeah... blacklisted. From every job in this fuckin' area! That'll teach you to be a whore!" Ben screamed the last word so loudly that you were sure every sleeping student and teacher heard it. Your jaw ticked, and you had to look away, your face painted an embarrassed shade of scarlet.
Your heart dropped at his words. No way was this happening.
"You can't do that." You whispered, tears still streaming from your eyes as you stared at the ground.
"I work at the Ministry, darlin', anything is possible."
"Fuck you."
"What did you just say t'me?"
"Fuck you!" You cried out hoarsely with one hand on your shoulder and the other gripping the countertop. An animalistic like growl fell from your ex-boyfriend as he stormed towards you, fury burning bright in his eyes. He raised his wand, and you squeezed your eyes shut, bracing yourself for some sort of spell to hit you.
"Stupefy!" A familiar voice commanded, the swish of a spell following it suit. Then, a loud thud.
Reluctantly, you opened your eyes to see Ben laying on the floor, unconscious in a pool of his own saliva. Your chest heaved with fear, and you were incredibly scared to look up to see who had come to your rescue. Frozen, you stood still in your place, though you could feel your knees beginning to buckle. Within seconds you were on the floor, sobbing uncontrollably, your lungs on fire from how harshly you were breathing. Merlin, you could've just died.
uh oh.. who saved her?
i'm sorry if you weren't tagged, i went through the majority of my notes and tried to find you all!! pls forgive me :( there was a lot due to my absence <3

Tumblr media
Sick Days
Severus Snape x wife reader
Warnings: reader is slightly shorter than snape, suggestive, Snape is a lil ooc
A/N: AHH my first request!! Thanks for sending it in!! I'm going to be splitting this request into two parts, so this one will be about them being sick and the next one I post will be about Snape being a dad! Enjoy~
It had started out with a small cough, but quickly turned into a horrible cold. You were trying to keep your distance from Severus so he wouldn't catch it. Severus brushed off your attempts with an eye roll and he walked up to you with a small vial.
"Here, this should help." He said, before handing it to you.
You sighed before drinking it, then handing it back to him. "Thanks, Sev."
He bent down to kiss you on the lips but you stopped him. "You're gonna get sick, no kissing!"
Severus scoffed. "Oh please, I think I'll survive." He then bent back down to kiss you a soft kiss. He gripped at your waist, before moving to kiss down your jaw, his hand gripping yours as he played with the ring he had put on your finger years ago that bound you together.
You giggled slightly and tried to weakly push him off. "Sev.."
But eventually you caved when you started to feel better and let him have his way for the rest of the night.
........................................
The next morning, you were sprawled out on the bed with the blankets thrown off of you. You groaned and went to wipe your face, but cringed when you felt how clammy you felt. But at least you didn't have as much of a stuffy nose!
You looked over beside you only to find Severus wasn't in bed with you. You glanced over at the bathroom to hear him blowing his nose profusely. You laughed softly as you got up and padded over to the bathroom.
You peeked your head in, and his face was red as he looked over at you. You were smirking but he only rolled his eyes.
"Shut up." He grumbled.
You giggled and walked over behind him, wrapping your arms around his waist. "I told you that you would get sick"
"Yes.. however, it was worth it," Severus had a small smile despite his voice sounding congested, as he drank down the potion he gave you yesterday. He then turned around and wrapped his arms around you, having to lean down slightly.
You let out a content sigh as you closed your eyes. "What do you want for breakfast?"
"I can make it-"
"No, shush. You're more sick than I am right now," You pulled away slightly to look up at him. "How about some sausages and scrambled eggs?"
Severus sighed but nodded. "Yes, thats alright love"
"Good, because I wasn't going to give you an option," You smiled, and then made your way to the kitchen downstairs. When you reached the kitchen you started cooking.
Severus was dressed when he came downstairs and he sat at the kitchen table. His eyes followed you as you made your way around the kitchen, a soft smile on his face.
"You're too good to me." He said almost to himself as he leaned forward to place his elbows on the table.
"You deserve only the best, Severus." You smiled over at him as you poured the eggs in the pan.
His eyes softened at that, not believing you but he didn't object. He then stood up and wrapped his arms around you but kept his face away from yours. "I love you, you know that right?"
"Yes. And I love you more," You leaned up and placed a soft kiss to his lips.
He flinched. "Did you not learn either? Now you're going to be sick again"
You shrug, smiling and going back to making the eggs. "What was it you said earlier?...'it was worth it' "
Severus let out a soft smile, but then moved his head away as he let out a loud sneeze.

No sir, you can’t be dead. I won’t let you! - she sobbed holding his cold and stiff lifeless body, not even daring to hope for her own little miracle.
This can’t be the end, can it?
Wait, is it…?

Meeting with the Order of the Phoenix had always a tiresome day for Severus. While he dreaded spending the day in the home of his childhood bully and long-time enemy, Sirius Black, he was grateful for the time he was able to spend with the one woman who brought a smile to his face.
Y/N had been seeing Severus for a few months now, though they had never actually made anything official. They agreed to a casual relationship at first, but they both knew there was more to it than that. Her feelings for the wizard only grew with each passing day, but still Severus refused to admit he felt anything other than lust for the young woman.
Still, she revelled in the nights they spent together, however fleeting they seemed. It was hard for them to gain any alone time together given her less than ideal living situation with his childhood enemy coupled with the fact he refused to invite her into his home. Still, they managed to steal a few moments together here and there.
Today’s meeting was particularly agonising for Severus, nothing of note being said that he didn’t already know. Mad Eye’s voice faded into a singular drone, as Severus leaned back lazily in his chair. His thoughts on nothing but the woman across from him. It had been too long since he had felt her hands on his body; the softness of her skin intertwining with his rough calloused hands, he missed the sweetness of her mouth on his, the sound of her gasps when his hand found its way between her legs, but he especially missed the drooling mess she became when he fucked her hard and rough, his hand covering her mouth to ensure they wouldn’t make a sound.
Y/N tried hard not to look in Severus’ direction to avoid suspicion, regardless she could still feel the way his gaze raked over her body, his mind wandering to places they should not go at a time like this. A red-hot flush crept its way up her neck, the thought of Severus checking her out so publicly sent a rush straight to her core. She cleared her throat and sat up straighter, attempting to dissuade Severus’ glances. He did not take the hint.
Idly pacing around the room like a hyperactive dog, Severus couldn’t help but feel irritated by the mere presence of Sirius Black in his own home, though when the man turned his attention on Y/N his blood began to boil.
Sliding up behind her, Black placed a hot mug of tea in front of Y/N; in innocent gesture from any other, but Snape knew Black always had a motive. The young witch flashed his rival a sweet smile, thanking him for her beverage. Confirming his suspicions, Sirius lingered behind Y/N resting a heavy hand on each of her shoulders, gently massaging. Severus had to hold back his primal instincts, forcing himself not to curse the man for even thinking he can touch what is his. Sirius didn’t move his hands for the remainder of the meeting, neither did Severus’ gaze on them.
The meeting continued for a further forty-five minutes before its members were finally free. However, Molly Weasley had insisted she make everyone a meal before they left, so the house was particularly more crowded than normal.
Y/N shot Severus a look, telling him to meet her upstairs while everyone else seemed preoccupied with chatter. The Potion’s Master wasted no time hesitating, moving the second she gave the order, stealthily disappearing up to her bedroom.
Y/N was not so lucky in her escape. Sirius watched on closely as she swiftly exited the room.
“Oh, thank God.” Y/n gasped at the sight of Snape standing in the middle of her bedroom. Closing the door she hurried towards him, throwing her hands over his head and pulling her body close to his. Instinctively Severus hands fell to her hips, though quickly began to roam when her lips met his.
Balancing on her tiptoes to match his height, she moaned into his mouth.
“God, I’ve missed you.”
“It’s been too long.” His words were muffled by her neck as he kissed his way down to her collar bone, nipping the skin with his teeth once or twice.
She let out a single sharp gasp; the kind he loved so much and he found himself dreaming of regularly.
“How much time do we have?” Severus rasped, tucking a piece of hair behind her ear that had gone awry.
“Not long. Molly said dinner will be out shortly.”
“We’ll have to be quick then.”
Y/N groaned at the prospect. They were forever having to rush their time together, just once she wanted to be able to savour her time with him, maybe then he would actually stick around after sex and she might have the chance to discuss their feelings for each other. As it were, the couple were resigned to hot and heavy meet ups in secret, providing Severus with the perfect excuse to keep her at arm’s length.
“Don’t you think we should just tell people? I’m tired of sneaking around behind everyone’s back.”
Severus nuzzled into the crook of her neck, sucking softly on her skin.
“We’re not telling anyone, because there is nothing to tell. No one needs to know that we’re sleeping together, Y/N.”
She pulled away from him to look him in the eye.
“But what if it becomes more?”
“It won’t.” He stated firmly.
“But –“
“We’ve spoke about this Y/N.”
Her heart dropped despite expecting nothing less; Severus had always made his intentions with her very clear; it was foolish of Y/N to hope otherwise.
Snape made to unbuckle his belt, just as there came a knock at the door.
The pair exchanged a panicked glance.
“Y/N.” Sirius called from the other side of the door. “Are you alright?”
“Fine, thanks. I just came up to look for my wand.” She attempted to dissuade him.
“Do you need any help looking?” The door handle twitched under his grip.
“No, thanks! I’ll be down in a minute.”
The door, thankfully, remained closed. Sirius footsteps faded as he made his way back down the stairs.
Severus was on her in an instant, his hands raking through her tangled mess of hair, capturing her mouth in an aggressive kiss.
Y/N moaned once more, savouring the way his tongue dominated her mouth.
“I have to go.” She sighed, reluctantly. Sirius would be expecting her back down any second, if she didn’t show, he was sure to come up again.
It was Severus’ turn to groan; the tightness of his trousers had become almost too much to bear. It had been so long since their last session, and now who knows when they would next get a moment together.
“I’m sorry. Stay for dinner, I might be able to escape after that.”
Reluctantly, Severus agreed to her offer. Promising to follow shortly behind once she left.
Unsurprisingly, the kitchen was swarmed with people. Countless Weasley’s and numerous other Order members took up the majority of seats around the table. Y/N and Sirius opted to stand on the outskirts of the table, knowing there would be plenty of left overs for them to have once everyone left. Which allowed Severus to slip into the remaining seat practically unnoticed.
Severus sat straight in his chair, arms crossed, eyes laser focused on the couple huddled on the other side of the room. Y/N and Sirius leaned against the kitchen cabinets, giggling together like a couple of school children. Snape watched as Sirius leaned into his friend, brushing aside the loose strand of hair, and whispering something in her ear. Y/N threw her head back and cackled to the sky. It occurred to Snape you had never laughed so hard at anything he had said before, sending a burning feeling of jealousy to his gut. He watched on as Y/N placed her had on the centre of Sirius chest, an attempt to steady herself from her bout of hysteria. Severus jaw clenched.
Finally able to calm herself down, Y/N stalked the length of the table, checking out the food on offer. Severus eyes followed the woman intensely until she came to a stop directly behind him.
“Something bothering you?” She whispered in his ear, noticing the tension coursing through his body.
Severus remained silent, already wary that by standing next to each other they were exposing themselves. She could tell her relationship with Sirius pissed Severus off, but he would never admit it. If he did, he would have to tell her why it bothered him so much. And she knew he was not ready to admit to anything yet. Y/N stole a forkful of carrots from his plate and continued her round of the table.
Sirius joined the woman in her hunt for scraps, the two of them lurking around like a couple of vultures. While, Y/N was simply focused on stuffing as much food into her mouth as possible, Sirius’ attention remained solely on her. When she bent to stick her fork into a bowl of roast potatoes, Sirius rested a hand on the small of her back, keeping it there to draw her closer to him. Severus watched on furiously, his nostrils flaring at the sight. Y/N bit into a large roast potato and moaned appreciatively. Severus mind wandered to an inappropriate place and it was clear Sirius’ did the same.
“My God, Molly, those potatoes are amazing. What did you put in them?”
Severus went deaf to the world as Y/N held her forkful of potato out for Sirius to take a bite from. He took hold of her wrist, bringing her hand up to his mouth, and made intense eye contact while he slipped the potato from its tines.
Severus’ hands balled into fists and his teeth ground together. It was everything he could do to stop himself from lashing out at the man he already despised.
Either this woman was deliberately trying to drive him mad or she truly saw nothing wrong with her actions; either option was maddening to him.
Severus almost hit his breaking point was when Sirius used his thumb to swipe a drop of gravy from the corner of Y/N’s mouth, bringing it back to her lips to lick.
All idle chatter stopped at the sound of Snape’s chair screeching across the hardwood floors. At risk of exposing their casual relationship, Severus stormed out of the kitchen.
Y/N wasn’t shocked by his reaction. In fact, she was so close to breaking him it almost made her giddy. There was no hiding his feelings for her when this was how he reacted.
After dinner, Y/N helped Molly clear up while everyone else retired to the Livingroom. No one dared speak a word to the brooding Potion’s Master who sat stewing in a single armchair by the fire. To be honest everyone was shocked he was still here, but no one was brave enough to question it; Except Sirius.
“Still here, Snivellus? Thought you’d have slithered off back to that hovel of yours.”
“At least I’m able to slither anywhere, Black. You set one foot outside, and it’s straight back to Azkaban. Tell me, who’s a better roommate? Y/N or the dementors.”
“I wouldn’t say I’m that bad, Severus.” Y/N scoffed at his comparison, shooting him a stern glare as she returned from the kitchen.
“I wasn’t meaning like that.” He sighed to himself.
“Don’t worry about it. Sirius and I have a good thing going here, let’s hope he won’t be returning to Azkaban any time soon, shall we?”
Severus said nothing. He hated the fact you lived with his worst enemy, but he what he hated even more was you defending Sirius over him. The sly grin on the other man’s face showed he had won this round.
Y/N perched on the arm of the chair next to Sirius, finding every other chair occupied.
“Here. Take my seat.” Severus jumped up from his spot on the armchair.
“No need, Snivellus.” Sirius stopped Y/N in her tracks. “There’s plenty of room for her right here.” He budged up a few inches, patting the space next to him. His gaze remained fixed on Snapes, a challenge that said whoever’s offer you took would be the victor.
Eyes flicking between the two men Y/N had a choice to make. While she didn’t like to see Severus defeated by childhood bully, the obvious answer was to sit with Sirius. Not only would everyone get a seat, but doing so would further rile Snape up, maybe then he would be ready to admit to his feelings for her.
“Sit back down, Severus. I’ll be fine here.” She slipped into the edge of the couch; her thighs pushed right up against her friend’s.
Sirius’ grin grew wider at the second small victory. He placed his arm around Y/N’s shoulders, pulling her into his chest.
Severus’ jaw clenched once more. The sight of Sirius resting his arm on her so confidently had him seeing red.
“Has it ever occurred to you, Black, that the woman might not want your grubby paws all over her.” He spat.
“That woman has a name, and a voice too come to think of it. I’m sure if Y/N felt in any way uncomfortable around me she would say as much.”
“Perhaps she is just being polite.” He said through gritted teeth.
“Are you jealous, Snape?” Sirius laughed, realisation hitting him. “Are you jealous that a girl like Y/N is not repulsed by the thought of me touching her, as she would you.” Sirius placed an arm on Y/N’s knee to drive home his point.
“I wouldn’t be so sure of that.” Snape scoffed.
“What is that supposed to mean?”
Severus fought back the urge to lash out at him, standing slowly from his chair once again.
“It seems I have overstayed my welcome.” His tone was eerily calm.
Sirius smirked, basking in his victory.
“You always have been all bark, Severus. Next time you’re here remember your place in this house; you are not wanted.”
“The next time I’m here, Black.” Severus sneered. “I’ll be laughing at your pathetic attempts to win Y/N over, Then I’ll take her upstairs and fuck her until the only thing she knows how to say is my name. MY name Black, not yours.”
The room fell silent at the Professor’s words, everyone’s attention focusing in on him and Sirius.
Molly threw a hand over her mouth in shock, quickly trying to usher her children from the room.
Sirius stood from his seat, pointing his wand in the direction of the Potion’s Master.
“What the fuck did you just say?”
“I said; I’m going to fuck her in your house, while she’s screaming my name and begging for more because she loves the feel of my cock so much.”
A .. flash of light shot from the end of Sirius’ wand, an electric pulse buzzing through the air. Snape deflected it with ease.
The room quickly emptied, leaving only Severus, Sirius and Y/N remaining.
Sirius waited for Snape to take it shot, but it never came. This only angered Sirius more, causing him to send another handful of spells flying his way. Severus deflected each one with a simple movement of his hand.
“You think I’m lying?” Severus taunted. “Ask her yourself.”
Sirius gaze flicked over to Y/N for no more than a second before he continued raging spells in Snape’s direction.
Y/N finally shook herself from her frozen state.
“Sirius stop!” She yelled, watching him send endless curses Snape’s way.
Her friend took no notice of her, continuing to his battle with her lover.
Bored of remaining on defence, Severus finally threw a spell at Sirius. The marauder managed to deflect but stumbled back from the sheer force of the curse.
In an instant there were spells flying back and forth between the men while Y/N watched on helplessly from the side lines.
Seeing Sirius weaken against Severus’ power, had Y/N panicking that someone was truly about to be hurt. Knowing the two shared a sordid history, it was unlikely that either wizard would accept defeat before the other was forced to submit.
“Severus, please stop this.” She ran at him, pulling roughly on his robes to get his attention. “Stop!”
Distracted that Y/N might get caught in the crossfires of the duel, Severus attempted to push her behind him and out of the line of fire. But to no avail, the witch fought against his arm, refusing to surrender to his protection.
Y/N rounded on Severus, pushing roughly at his chest in a last-ditch effort to end the fight.
Despite being unable to hold off Snape’s spells for much longer, Sirius refused to give up without a fight; his spells coming in faster with each passing second.
Losing focus on the battle, Severus’ attention was taken over by trying to keep Y/N safe. Abandoning his wand, he gripped the woman by her wrists and dragged her to the side. Foolishly Snape did not consider that Black would not have the same concern for her safety and another spell headed in their direction. Snape pulled Y/N tight to his chest, covering her with as much of his body as he possible.
Severus winced as pain lashed across his arm. His now cut up sleeve becoming wet with blood.
“Severus.” Y/N yelped, grabbing onto his hand. “Are you hurt, let me see it.”
She took Snape’s arm in his examining the severity of his wounds. They were deep and showed no signs of clotting.
Sirius watched on from the other side of the room, panting breathlessly with exertion. Y/N spun on him, furiously.
“What the hell did you do?”
Sirius remained speechless.
“You shouldn’t have gotten in the way.” Snape snapped, regaining her attention.
“I was trying to stop you from hurting each other.”
“That worked out well, didn’t it?” He glared down at her.
“Stop it, Severus.” She warned, knowing he was trying to deflect from the fact he was hurt.
“I’m sorry.” He admitted, stroking her cheek with his good hand.
“He was telling the truth?” Sirius finally huffed, watching the scene unfold between the two.
“Sirius, I’m sorry. I wanted to tell you but-“
“Are you together?”
Severus and Y/N exchanged a hesitant glance.
“No.”
“Yes.” Y/N turned to Severus in shock.
“But Severus you said-“
“Forget what I said. I’ve spent all night watching what it looks like to have another man flirting with you because he thinks you’re single. I refuse to spend another moment watching that. You’re mine, Y/N, in every way that counts. And I want everyone to know it.”
“Do you mean it?” She looked up at him hopefully.
Severus nodded firmly, tucking that one rouge piece of hair behind her ear before bringing his mouth to hers.
“Then let’s go tell everyone. And maybe heal your arm while we’re at it?”
“Whatever you want.” He smiled.
Sirius may have gotten the upper hand in the duel, but ultimately it was Severus who was victorious in this battle.

The Great Hall was packed with students and teachers all gathered together for the Christmas feast, and the chatter within the room from both was beginning to merge together in one big mist of volume. Professor Snape exhaled slowly as he pushed around the food that was left on his plate, unsure of how much longer he could take the small talk or noise. It wasn't a secret that Severus wasn't exactly the most festive person in the world.
He heard the scraping of the legs from the chair at the side of him but paid it no mind, his eyes still lazily watching himself pushing his food about his plate.
“I don't know about you, but I'm really not fond of attending the party tonight.” A new, familiar voice spoke beside him.
“It would appear you are not alone in that.” Severus spoke without even turning to face her, almost frozen in his seat as his heartbeat sped up briefly.
“Not a massive fan of Christmas parties?” She asked, leaning a little closer to him.
“Not in the slightest.” Severus spoke emotionlessly, leaning back in his chair as his eyes remained fixed on the countless tables of students in front of them.
“Me neither, really.” The female professor shook her head, “If only the venue could be one of the pubs in Hogsmeade; we could just hide around the corner again and have the night to ourselves.”
“That sounds much more appealing.” Severus exhaled slowly, finally glancing over at her as his heart fluttered momentarily from the memory.
She crinkled her nose and brushed her hand over the back of his as she stood up, leaving him in his own thoughts as he watched her walking away. He didn't take his eyes off her until she was out of view, almost convinced that she had only paid him a brief visit to ensure that he would be thinking about her for the rest of the night.
The Christmas ball was more of a Christmas bore to Severus; never having or — previously — wanting to have a partner to dance with. He toyed with the idea of asking her to dance with him, given the success of their first two meetings and that last kiss… Oh, that kiss…
He stood to the side with Professor McGonagal and Professor Dumbledore, politely holding a hand up and shaking his head when they gestured for him to join them upon the dance floor. He never wanted to dance, but she caught his eye from the other side of the room. He had held her hand, sure, even hugged her, but that didn't stop him wondering how it would feel to hold her. Really hold her. Regardless of whether they were alone or in front of the whole school. People were dancing, singing, and chatting around him, but he paid none of it any mind; only she mattered. He scowled briefly when he saw another male Professor approach her and motion toward the dance floor, but his scowl quickly turned into a schoolboy smile when he watched her dismiss his offer. His entire body filled with warmth and he exhaled softly, his eyes not coming off her for even a moment.
“Was that a smile, Severus?” Professor Dumbledore’s voice spoke from the side of him.
Severus was shook out of his trance briefly and he blinked hard, turning to face Dumbledore with squinted eyes as a result of being caught off guard whilst admiring her from across the room.
“Was it?” There was a hint of playfulness in Dumbledore’s voice, “I think it was.”
“If it was, would it matter if I absent myself from… here?” Severus asked lowly, raising his eyebrows in hope.
“You do not need my permission to go as you please, Severus,” Dumbledore narrowed his eyebrows, “It’s Christmas.”
“Thank you, Professor.” Severus nodded politely, a smile forming on his lips from the kindness of Dumbledore’s before turning away.
His eyes found her immediately and he began to make his way across the room, avoiding the dancing people around him and walking toward her. The look on her face as he approached her filled his chest with warmth and he smiled nervously, taking a subtle breath.
“Bored yet?” She asked, raising her eyebrows playfully.
“Tremendously,” Severus sighed dramatically, looking either side of him before speaking again, “I was wondering, Miss Eleanor, if you would care to take a walk with me… outside in the grounds. Be my saving grace.”
“It would be my pleasure.” Eleanor crinkled her nose, smiling.
Severus pondered saying how grateful he was for now having the most beautiful excuse to escape how uncomfortable those events made him, but nerves were beginning to climb him again as he walked them both to the door. They glanced at each other several times once they were through the crowd of people and Severus found the smile on his face becoming more of a permanent fixture.
“Thank you for giving me an excuse to get out of there.” Eleanor half laughed.
“Not at all,” Severus cleared his throat, holding the door open for her to lead them both outside, “I was going to say the same to you, actually.”
“Where shall we go?” She looked up at him.
“Anywhere,” Severus shrugged, then suddenly backtracking, “Within reason, of course.”
“Meaning?” Eleanor squinted her eyes, still looking at him as they walked into the cold.
“Away from… prying eyes.” Severus looked around subtly but cautiously.
“Oh, Severus…” Eleanor rolled her eyes playfully and hooked her arm around his as they walked.
“H—Hm?” Severus raised his eyebrows, forcing his body to unstiffen and act natural once their arms were linked.
She shook her head and giggled to herself, squeezing his arm.
They didn't have a specific route or destination in mind, they just went wherever their feet took them. Moreover, it wasn't that Severus wasn't interested in what she had to say, or in making conversation himself, but more that he couldn't stop thinking about the last time they saw each other and the kiss they shared. He could have sworn he felt the ice around his heart melt the moment their lips touched. He longed for more, that in itself even shocking himself, but he daren't push his luck — not when she was becoming something he didn't want to mess up.
Eleanor’s hands gently massaged his bicep as they continued to walk, half in comfortable silence, half in small talk conversation; the one thing Severus was terribly bad at.
“You looked very pretty tonight.” Severus dared himself to say, often only remembering when it was too late that he quite often lacked in paying complements.
“Looked?” Eleanor gazed up at him, trying not to laugh.
“…yes?” Severus felt his breathing change in fear of having said something wrong, “Is that such a bad thing to say?”
“Well, what do I look like now?” Eleanor raised her eyebrows, now biting her lip as she fought off a laugh from his innocently confused expression.
“I’m sorry?” Severus tilted his head.
“Well, you said I looked very pretty tonight…” She gave his arm another gentle squeeze.
“Yes?” Severus nodded slowly, “You did.”
“Did?” She pursed her lips.
“Oh,” Severus’ eyes widened, “My apologies,” He felt his cheeks turn bright red, “You look beautiful.”
“Thank you,” She crinkled her nose at his embarrassed face as she looked up at him, “Don't apologise, it was funny.”
“It wasn't meant to be funny, it was meant to be—” Severus protested softly before Eleanor cut him off:
“Severus.” She stopped them as they reached one of the stone archways.
“Yes—”
She leaned up to kiss him, and there it was again; that feeling inside when her lips touched his. His hands instinctively cupped her face and he tilted his head, taking a shaky breath against her lips. He felt her smile against him and place her hands against his chest, nudging her nose against his.
“Mm, hi.” She whispered against his lips, pausing briefly.
“Hi.” Severus let out a bashful schoolboy chuckle against her lips as he felt her take his hands and place them upon her hips, leaning up on her tiptoes to kiss him again.
“This is already better than half the dancing in there.” She giggled, her hands now back against his chest again.
“Only half?” Severus arched a brow with a playful smile.
“Well, I didn't see you offering.” She winked, pushing him gently.
“Nor will you ever.” Severus chuckled, leaning down to peck her lips again.
“Oh, charming.” She responded with a teasingly offended expression.
“Wait, no, I didn't mea—”
“Shut up and kiss me, you fool,” Eleanor laughed, sliding her hands up to his shoulders as she leaned up on her tiptoes to press their lips back together.
Severus let out a shaky breath against her lips and advanced forward slightly, pushing her back against the stone archway. Eleanor squeezed his shoulders gently and then moved her hands up into his hair, playing with it as the kiss deepened. As stated previously, they had shared a kiss before, but not one like this. Even in its innocent, barely wandering hands state, this kiss was already more than the couple they had shared as they last bid each other goodnight.
“Would you like to come back to mine?” Confidence suddenly swelled in him.
“But, Severus,” She spoke in between kissing him again, “What if people see us both disappearing together?”
“I take full responsibility for the consequences.” Severus responded, grinning when he felt her gasp against his lips.
“Well, in that case, how could a girl refuse?” Eleanor crinkled her nose as the kiss broke, gazing up into his eyes.
Severus glanced over his shoulder to make sure the grounds were still clear before turning back to Eleanor and gesturing for her to walk with him again. Although Severus chose the most secluded route back to his chamber, he secretly longed for the day he would proudly walk through the crowds of Hogwarts arm in arm with her, showing her off for all to see.
“Take a seat,” Severus gestured to the sofa in the middle of the room and flicked his wand toward the open fire in front of it, setting the logs alight, “Make yourself comfortable.”
“Thank you,” Eleanor crinkled her nose, sitting down and enjoying the warmth from the fire.
Severus’ heart was beating subtly but hard; he had never been with her in such a one-on-one setting. He was already worried about fumbling over his words, or getting ahead of himself — though, he would be the first to admit that it would be much more likely that he would completely miss any of her signals initiating anything more than a kiss.
The truth was that he had gone over this moment several times in his head, even down to the wine he was currently pouring into two glasses upon the counter.
“I really appreciated the way you turned the other Professor down when he asked you to dance…” He carefully carried the glasses over to the sofa, placing them both on the table in front of it.
“Oh, really?” Eleanor smiled softly, watching him, “Did I make it too obvious that my only interest and intentions lay with you?” She giggled.
“N-Not at all,” Severus shook his head, handing her, her glass, “It was just nice for you to… accompany me for a walk.”
“A walk in the grounds and wine?” Eleanor gazed up at him with a playful expression, “Who knew Severus Snape had it in him…”
“Do not take it for granted.” Severus attempted to flirt back, joining her on the sofa.
“To tell you the truth, Severus, I don’t take any of the time with you for granted.” She smiled softly, sipping at her glass of wine.
“R-Really?” Severus felt himself blushing, lifting his wine glass to his lips to try and cover it up.
“I think you know I do.” She spoke softly, placing one of her hands upon his knee.
“Well, I… enjoy spending time… with you, too.” Severus felt both like he wanted the ground to swallow him up from confessing this and relieved at the same time.
Eleanor didn't respond verbally straight away, just gently rubbed his knee with her hand. Severus exhaled as he swallowed the mouthful of wine and rested the glass against his thigh, looking toward the flickering fire as he tried not to focus too much on the feeling of her hand against him.
“Everything alright?” Eleanor asked as Severus lifted the glass back to his lips again.
“Yes, yes, sorry, I…” He swallowed hard, “I don't think I have ever admitted that before. Well, not to the extent of how I mean it… towards you.”
“Hey, look at me,” Eleanor reached out with one of her hands and cupped his cheek in it, turning his head toward her, “I know.”
“It's not very hard to see that Christmas isn’t a time you’re used to celebrating.” She gently caressed her thumb against his cheek.
“No,” Severus sighed, shaking his head, “I’ve never really had a reason to.”
“Not yet.” She grinned, gently clinking her wine glass against his.
Severus’ gaze fell to their glasses and then to her lips, finding himself smiling again.
“For people to say you dress like an overgrown bat, you certainly have a very cozy chamber.” She changed the conversation, not wanting him to become uncomfortable.
“People say that?” Severus asked in a tone that she had never heard before.
“Well, I just remind them that it's what's underneath the clothes that really matters.” She shrugged, smiling sweetly in fear of her previous complement of his chamber backfiring.
“Hm?” Severus leaned back into the sofa, “Well, if that’s the case, the mind boggles at what's under yours.”
“Professor Snape!” She scoffed playfully, “Is this you trying to flirt?” She moved slightly closer to him and spoke in a tone as if afraid they would be overheard, “Because, keep plying me with wine, and you might just find out.”
“O-Oh, no, please don't think that is what I meant o-or—” He swallowed hard, widening his eyes, “Or the reason for the wine, I just…”
“You know, you’re making me wonder whether I enjoy kissing you because I want to,” She placed her wine glass down, “Or whether to just shut you up.”
“Either suits me,” Severus spoke lowly, their eyes meeting as their heads turned to face one another properly.
Within a matter of seconds their lips pressed against each other again and Severus’ body froze from the pure want of it. He kissed her back immediately and tilted his head, allowing her to reach for his hand and place it against her waist as the kiss deepened even further than the one against the stone arch. Severus’ inexperienced hand lightly caressed her waist from over her dress and he sighed softly into the kiss, parting his lips as her tongue teased between them. He wasn't entirely sure what move to make next; what was too much, what was too subtle, what was… right.
“How about we see if what’s underneath really does matter, hm?” Eleanor spoke softly against his lips, playing with one of the buttons on his clothing, “Would that be okay?”
Severus nodded, unsure of his own name at this point. Eleanor began to unbutton his clothing and he dared to lightly pull at her dress with his trembling fingers. To be wanted like this was so foreign to him, he didn't want to put a single foot wrong. In fact, to be wanted at all was not something he had often experienced in his life.
He gently bit down on her lip and pulled it out a bit, enjoying the noise she made whilst doing so. His buttons popped open with ease and, despite how self conscious he usually was, he willingly sat up so she could push his overcoat and shirt off him, breaking the kiss briefly to glance down at his now bare chest.
“It's okay,” She spoke softly when she felt him lightly grasp at the material of her dress again, “My clothing comes off, too.”
“Can I… see?” Severus swallowed hard, half expecting a slap across the face.
Eleanor nodded and stood up, reaching out for him with both of her hands. Severus took them and stood up, watching closely as she guided one of his hands to the zip on the back of her dress and turned around. Severus grasped the small metal zip between his finger and thumb and took a deep breath before starting to unzip the back of her dress. His eyes widened with each bit of skin that was revealing itself to him and silently thanked her for not facing him so she couldn't see quite how red his face was becoming.
“Easy, right?” She giggled once the zip was at the bottom.
“R-Right…” Severus nodded shakily, only able to watch in awe as it fell off her shoulders and pooled to the floor as she turned back around to face him whilst unclasping her bra.
He blinked hard, mesmerised by the image in front of him and felt his confidence swell again, leaning forward to desperately press their lips together. Eleanor’s arms snaked around his neck and she leaned up on her tiptoes, kissing him back immediately and pressing her breasts against his chest; resulting in something other than his confidence beginning to swell.
“Mm, Professor…” She grinned when he nudged himself forward slightly, “I do hope that is your wand.”
Severus made a soft noise against her lips when she brushed her body forward, lightly scratching the nape of his neck with her fingers. Their tongues tangled and Severus ran his inexperienced fingertips back and forth over her bare skin. One of Eleanor’s hands trailed down Severus’ bare chest and stomach, making Severus shiver from the feeling of it. Whilst his hands lightly massaged her skin, Eleanor’s made quick work of the button on his trousers; popping it open and pulling down the zip. As his trousers hit the floor, she lightly nudged her palm against the bulge in the front of his boxers, earning a soft moan from him.
“C—Careful…” Severus swallowed hard, taking a shaky breath against her lips, “I…”
“Even bigger than I expected,” Eleanor licked his bottom lip, lightly grasping his erection from over his underwear as the kiss deepened.
“Fuck…” Severus spoke practically inaudibly and felt himself going dizzy, urging for her to rid him of his underwear completely.
She dipped her hand inside his boxers and wrapped it around him, gently jerking her fist up and down as he continued to groan against her lips, his hands now on her underwear and lightly flexing the waistband of it as she continued to taunt him. To be touched like this was something he didn't even dream about, he was that convinced it would never happen to him. His jaw clenched and wanted to sit back and enjoy the feeling, but he also wanted to stress his urgency of long pent up release.
“Oh, you want them off, too?” She smirked when she felt him pull the waistband of her underwear away from her skin completely.
“Mmmh, yes,” Severus breathed heavily, feeling his length pulsate both from the feeling of her fist still stroking him and the question she had just asked.
“What the Professor wants, the Professor gets,” She pulled back from the kiss slowly, glancing down between them both and then back up at him, “If you do the same.”
Severus nodded, barely even able to believe that he was about to do this. Never had he ever allowed himself to be this vulnerable in front of someone.
Soon enough, both pairs of underwear were on the floor, and they both stood there in the nude. For the first time - first time in his life, from memory - he was unashamedly stood completely vulnerable in the nude. He didn't even like seeing himself naked, let alone someone else seeing him. Something about her made him feel shamelessly confident.
“Your wand or not, it certainly looks like it’s capable of creating its own form of magic.” She licked her lips, gazing upon his hardened cock standing proudly to attention.
They hadn't even done anything and Severus’ chest was already heaving up and down. His eyes couldn't quite believe what he could see in front of him. He was in a trance so much that anything she said was just a murmur. Eleanor placed her hands upon his shoulders and gently pushed him back down onto the sofa, licking her lips as her eyes feasted on his large length now casting an impressive shadow over his lower stomach. Severus’ eyes trailed all the way up her naked body until their eyes met and he swallowed hard, watching as she began to climb over him.
“Mm, hi again,” She nudged her lips against his, taking his hands and placing them against her waist.
“H-Hi…” Severus whimpered when he felt her reach down to carefully position his length.
Their lips smacked together as the two of them slotted together like a surprisingly easy jigsaw. Eleanor, able to feel the roaring fire behind her, stayed still for a few moments, allowing herself to adjust to the impressive length now situated inside her.
“Everything okay?” She whispered softly, pecking his lips as she raised her hips slightly.
“Quite perfect,” Severus nodded, gazing up at her with heavy eyes.
“Remember where your hands are,” She lightly patted them as they remained over her hips, “You’re in control,” She kissed him again, “I’m all yours.”
Severus nodded weakly and remained with his hands against her hips as she began to move over him, her own hands now back against his shoulders as he kissed her hungrily. He whimpered softly at the feeing of her gliding back and forth over him with ease and began to moan each time she sat over him fully.
Severus could not put into words how he felt in this exact moment. He had enjoyed the times they had shared together, sure, or the dates as she called them, but he never in a million years expected for them to end up like this. Despite not being involved with anyone sexually, he wasn’t completely blind to what turned him on and what didn’t. However, the undeniable, nonjudgmental want she had for him was what drove him wild the most.
Their teeth collided as they kissed and Eleanor bunched his hair up in her hands, moaning into his mouth as she moved over him. Severus let out a heavy grunt when he began to lift and lower her with his hands, urging her to move even faster.
“Mm, you like that?” Eleanor broke the kiss and gazed down at him with heavy eyes, biting her lip as she started grinding her hips forward at the same time.
“Ugh, fuck, yes,” He nodded, his mouth hanging open as he rested his head back against the back of the sofa.
“So- fucking- big…” She spoke as she lowered herself over him, latching her lips onto his neck and sucking on it gently.
Severus’ hands moved from her hips to her back, creating red marks from how much their bodies were writhing against each other and how desperate he was to keep hold of her. He hissed in pleasure through clenched teeth when he felt her flicking her tongue against the sensitive red mark now upon his neck.
He was feeling a very unfamiliar flame beginning to climb up his body, both intrigued and afraid of what would happen if it was taunted further. His thighs tensed and his cock throbbed with desperate need of Eleanor’s movements to never stop. The way she moved over him and moans she breathed against his skin told him she was feeling quite the same, only turning him on all the more.
“I— I think something is about… t-to happen…” He whimpered, now trembling beneath her.
“Yes?” Eleanor gasped in pleasure, “Yes!” She took one of his hands and placed it between her legs, guiding him to exactly where she wanted him to touch her.
“Wh.. What are…” He swallowed hard, the flames now licking further up his body.
“Make me cum, Severus,” She whispered against his lips, moaning as he began to move his fingertips in circular motions.
“B—But you’re going to make me-!” He shouted in pleasure, his back starting to arch off the sofa.
“Y—Yes, Professor, l-like-! That!” She cried, her eyes rolling back at the feeling of both his length repeatedly sliding in and out of her and his shockingly skilled fingers.
“Eleanor!” He felt her tighten around him, unable to hold back for even a moment longer as the blaze of ecstasy took over him completely, “Eleanor!”
His hot release shot inside her, the both of them emitting echoing moans which bounced against his chamber walls. The fire was still roaring against her back, resulting in even more glistening sweat on their bodies and the smell of sex radiating off them. The movements didn't die down for a long while, still grasping at each other’s naked bodies as they continued to quite literally ride out their orgasms.
“Severus…” Eleanor breathed out her words, resting her forehead against his shoulder as they both tried to catch their breath.
“W—Was that…” Severus swallowed hard, his arms yearning to be wrapped around her again but feeling physically too exhausted to do so, “Was that okay?”
“Okay?” Eleanor lifted her head and reached for their glasses of wine, handing Severus’ to him, “That was everything, Severus,” She took a sip, enjoying the feeling of his chest still raising and falling against her as he did the same, “I have never known anything to be so worth the wait.”
Severus would be lying if he said he had never felt passion or desire before in his life, but he could count on one hand how many times he had acted upon it. It was unknown for him to even allow himself to think about taking matters into his own hands, let alone become completely vulnerable to another person.
He wasn’t entirely sure what had just happened to him, but all he knew was that he wanted to do it again, and again, and again. And they did. With only sips of wine between, they had their way with each other on the sofa a second time; though this time with Severus’ weight on top of her. Eleanor devoured the view as he towered over her whilst he devoured her.
Tumbling into his bedroom was the next location — albeit to fall asleep, but that soon developing into a literal tumble in the sheets. He didn't even know where his energy had suddenly come from, he could only pin point the fact she had made him feel like he had found a new lease of life. When he awoke this morning, he had no idea this is how he would be going to bed tonight.
“You know, we’re going to have to stop this.” Eleanor breathed out her words as she rolled off him.
“Hm, what?” Severus stretched his arms above his head before rolling onto his side and gazing down at her with his head propped up on his hand, “Why?”
“Because then I'll want to go to sleep like this every night.” She giggled, lightly tracing a pattern against his bicep with her finger.
“If you so wish…” He pursed his lips, glancing at her finger and then her, “You can.”
“Mm,” She leaned in to peck his pursed lips, “I have corrupted Severus Snape.”
“You have,” He nodded, sighing dramatically, “And you’ll pay for it!”
Eleanor opened her mouth to respond but quickly turned into a fit of giggles as Severus quickly wrapped his arms around her, squeezing her gently as she wriggled in his grip. He couldn't remember a time he had ever made someone laugh like this, and, even more to the point, he couldn't remember a time where he laughed like this.
Eleanor turned around with her back to him and settled back into his arms against his body. Severus planted soft kisses along her shoulder and sighed softly, his eyes closing in content.
“I am just satisfied to know that I have made you, of all people, smile on Christmas Day,” She spoke softly, able to feel his smile against her skin once more, “It can always be like this, you know. Never spend it alone again.”
“You are not just a reason to look forward to Christmas, dear Miss Eleanor,” His lips made it to her neck, now whispering into her ear, “You are my reason to look forward to every day.”
“Well, this can be your every day, too…” She spoke timidly, placing her hands over his that were wrapped around her waist from behind.
“I would really like that, actually,” Severus replied quicker than he even anticipated, raising his eyebrows when Eleanor turned her head, kissing him with a grin, “Really like it.”
Eleanor crinkled her nose as they kissed, gently nudging their noses together before turning back around again and snuggling back into his embrace. Severus sighed softly and closed his eyes, resting his lips against the back of her shoulder again and allowing her to feel a new, all-too-familiar prod against her back as she gasped and whispered into the darkness with a grin;
“Again?”
Thank you SO much for reading! I hope all of those celebrating have a fabulous Christmas and that everyone has a fabulous day 😊🎅🏼🎄🎁

Young Snape x Reader prompt/idea? Idk
I can’t really write so this is a scenario I made up that I just word vomited
I’ve always had a crush on snapes young actor since I was like 8 so this is js something I made up when I would daydream
Tumblr media
Student!Reader is a ravenclaw pure blood with no strong opinions on wizards/witches with no magic parents and a lot of ravenclaw and slytherin friends
Student!Reader and Student!Snape meet on the train and click right away but don’t hang out at school as much because Lily told Snape she didn’t like reader. They’re still acquaintances until that changes due to Lily getting closer to James and Severus getting a class with Reader. Little by little they slowly start getting closer together.
Reader would like to spend more time with him but he feels a responsibility to stay with Lily all the time since she was the only one who cared to stick around with him. Reader doesn’t like the way Lily treats him and the fact she’s all buddy buddy with his bullies
Finally it’s all solidified when Severus and Lily have an argument their 4th or 5th and he calls her a mudblood. Lily starts to ignore Severus not only everytime he goes to apologize but anytime he comes near her at all. She starts to stand by and just watch James and his gang bully Snape and sometimes laughs.
Reader finds Severus crying and comforts him. Gives him a pep talk about how wonderful he is and how people make mistakes and no one deserves to be treated like he is. Finally after that they start hanging out everyday. Severus becomes good friends with Readers friends but they still usually only hang out with each other.
Reader tells people in Ravenclaw and slytherine how Lily treated Severus and people stopped talking to her, gossiping about her even. Since Reader is a pure blood that’s part of an affluent family she grew up around other affluent family kids. Overall reader was not only friends with higher influence kids but also very respected among them due to her kind and understanding nature. So a lot of these people started to look down on Lily.
Finally it all comes together when Snape and Reader are near a tree talking one day when he starts telling Reader how much he doesn’t deserve her and kind of confessing and rambling when Reader kisses him. After that they start dating, the don’t try to hide it either. They hold hands ALL the time, sometimes you find the pair snogging, other times you find Reader laying her head on his shoulder.
Lily doesn’t like this, she liked the fact Severus liked her and the attention she would get from him on top of that people she use to talk to won’t even look at her now. She tries to talk to him saying she’s ready to hear him out but by then Severus couldn’t really give a shit.
Idrk about the rest
I know not a lot of people like Snape like that so I’m just posting this for myself not really expecting anyone to see this lol
If someone does end up making a full fledged fic plz credit me :<
