just a little disclaimer that i don’t give a flying fuck how anyone chooses to characterize people in their fics or otherwise. (so if you are reading this and you absolutely hate severus, then thats okay. live ur truth💋)

oookayyy. i personally believe that a lot of people are very forgiving towards reg and evan/barty and at the same time really harsh on severus. it’s almost as if in order to like a character they think that they have to be completely redeemable. and the other way around for disliking a character. supporting a flawed character does not make you a bad person. they don’t have to be all sunshine and rainbows for your love of them to be socially acceptable 🙂👍 (let your favs be bitches and let your least favs be sweethearts is essentially what I’m saying)

i think that when he was younger he would have actually been super shy and not such an outward bully. he definitely gave back what james and sirius dished out, but in a more subtle way. he was intelligent and not impulsive. he knew that j and s had the upper hand on him so he overcompensated by provoking them. if he pushed them first, then he was in control. (pretty common defense mechanism for someone with his family situation). i think that he could also be really gentle and kind too, lily was friends with him for a reason yaknow. he only became harsh and cynical as an adult because of what he went through (in his childhood and during the war). honestly, he was going back and forth between the two most dangerous people in the world, that’s bound to fuck you up a bit.

plus, i love it when fics include lily and sev’s friendship. like. guys, platonic heartbreak is the absolute worst thing in the world!! building up the snily friendship and then tearing it apart is such! good!! angst!!! it is not used enough imo. i don’t think they ever dated, and i also don’t think he was ever confident enough to reveal how much he truly loved her. also!! him and reg have such potential as friends/ allies as death eaters. reg turned to the ‘good’ side at the last minute and so did sev. imagine if they had worked together?!? ok wait now i’m getting art ideas.

phew that got long and i cbs reading through it so if there are mistakes, no there are not 👍. did i even answer ur question? yes, i think severus is fine. is he one of my fav characters? no. but i like him the same as i like peter essentially. yes, i want to make fanart with him in it and i will do so in the near future when i finally get time :) the same goes for pete, i’m just itching to make art of him!!!

It kept crashing while I wrote so hopefully this gets to you but hi again it’s dark snape au anon back with more parts, don’t worry we have like three to four parts before I’m done bugging you with it lol or until I get hit with some other crazy idea 💀 anyways here you go.

Ok hogwarts is falling apart and the few students who are there want to harm the Slytherins because who’s gonna stop them?

Without severus to keep his snakes safe the house has just been treated like absolute dirt for the past 11 years, which results in murder of one of the snakes, making the purebloods finally done with this bullshit and drop their students out of there. Leaving the school to mostly lions and like a few students from each house, also with Harry not there voldy is free to get the stone without worry or needing to distract a lot of students.

The ministry arrest albus right there, he can’t get himself out of this one, Minnie is left alone with the professor and is technically responsible for the action of her student, so she’s up on trial soon too.

Now back to Sirius who instead of looking for Harry started for Remus, which he finds quickly because a full moon was close, although he finds him in werewolf form and stays with him because he can’t hurt padfoot.

Harry is still nonverbal but doing better? He eats a little more now but still flinches whenever severus gets closer to him. Severus is fine with that, at least he’s not throwing tantrums again. Severus also finds himself more productive with Harry being interested in learning magic, buying magic books for little kids and getting sweet as rewards for the boy.

It’s odd and unsettling but it works fine for them, for now.

Voldy knows where the stone is obviously but needs to get past fluffy, with the less eyes and everyone being a mess he kills the beast and no one really notices, then starts working on the levels Dumbledore put.

Full moon ends and Remus finds himself face to face with his traitor of a friend, Sirius understands why Remus would hate him but he needed the wolf to trust him, Remus is five seconds from ripping Sirius’s head when he blurts out that he knows where Harry is exactly is.

Meanwhile severus gets his first copy in forever from the daily prophet and sees the hell hogwarts is turning into but he doesn’t care, he’s actually happy all of this is happening, let them burn for all he cares…the boy is safe and that’s what matters.

My OneChicago crossover part I ramblings ✨️

1. Stellaride opening. First of all, i could write a few paragraphs on this 1 min 36 sec scene. From him playing in her hair to her rubbing his chest. The fact that Stella has this man cornered at the edge of the bed leaving her majority of it, yet she's still sleeping on him (that's so real). The 11x10 parrale without the nightmares. Kelly being the keeper of the alarm! The immediate banter about Pascal. Them about to be late, but Kelly is NOT moving out of that bed lmao. When he did get up, did he go grab some clothes to put on? NOPE. Went straight to his wife. Whatever you do, dont reimagine that scene, but now they have a kid they have to get ready also & Stella's in an all-out panic! I CAN KEEP GOING! 🥹

2. Mouch back from his 13x10 trip but in 13x11, which originally was supposed to be 13x12... hmmm, more thoughts on that to come.

3. Dr. Frost picked a hell of a day to do a ride along but i love that that's how he was incorporated in the episode.

4. Violet is in charge of triage yeees queen.

5. Little Miss Bates I 👀 you for who & what you ARE!

6. "I can't die yet not like this.. I haven't told him." Hmm, do we think this will have a lasting impact on Violet with Carver?

Thinking more about the game!Deltas (whose characterization I will take over the book!one anytime), Sev and Scorch had fun all the time while Fixer's all business is one of my favorite parts. The never ending suffering of dealing with your (younger) siblings is so cute. At the same time, I adore how data from the loading screen presented Fixer as very supporting toward Boss, with the whole no need to do everything on your own and don't hesitate to order us around. Supportive Fixer is such a great addition. And how everyone including Vau worries about Sev, LOL.

"Everyone we know is already weird or awkward so you don't really have much to worry about".

It warmed my heart when the book mentioned Atin and Sev (Deltas) talking offscreen. In general, it warms my heart to know Vau's boys get along just fine despite their differences and I wouldn't be surprised if Atin seeks his batch-mates to rant and get the we get you bro, weird, right? pat on the arm when Skirata family stuff is overwhelming. I absolutely love it when the narrative acknowledges that Atin is one of Kal's boys but his attitude and behavior comes from Vau. Small thing, but really important. But sadly Atin was pretty sidelined in later books, same with Laseema. I admit, I could be biased toward her at the first due to my dislike for Twi'lek females - or rather as how those were used in sw narrative - but the older I'm the more I'm angry she was so sidelined when she has such potential to explore. I mean, a sole Alien in the Jedi-clone-Mandalorian family? A Twi'lek who probably needed to learn not only how to take care of a baby but a baby of different species? The survivor of Hutt's night club? So much stuff and so little focus on her, what a crime! I wholeheartedly support the Atin & Laseema & Deltas as a balance to the rest,  overall emotional family.



Well, you can always send Hunter and Mird on the same hunt - with him knowing whether or not that this strange creature is in fact Mird. Depending on what he heard about strills and Mird hunting Kaminoans could be hilarious. Like, he is on the mission and there is this weird animal that looks like it could kill him but is weirdly happy and friendly? I mean, he is a Hunter, Mird is a hunter, I'm sure they would find a common ground XD But of course, I’m just tossing ideas out there for fun 🙂

11. Your favourite scenes with book/movie!Snape?

Book would be hard...last time I read every book altogether was about five years or so ago, and I've been moving a lot, and I think I lost CoS at some point...

But from what I could remember would probably be Harry telling him Sirius was captured and he said he doesn't know what he's talking about. I think it perfectly shows his role as a spy and his intelligence. He clearly knew what Harry was saying, but since Umbitch and the Slytherin gang were there, he couldn't say anything. He acted as if he didn't know a shit and didn't give a fuck to Harry's words, but immediately gone to warn the order and kept his eyes on Harry.

12.If you had to chose a Golden trio era student to be Snape's friend, who would it be and why?

Who else other than Luna I-know-everything-and-I-won't-judge-you Lovegood would it be? She would be, and probably was Severus friend. It's such a shame we don't get to have any interaction between the two in canon, I would pay to sit in potions class with the Ravens just to see what a chaotic good student she was. She'd be like the one person in your class that knows every secret and kept them well and if you reach them for help, they'll be genuinely nice and warm, guiding you to see a different angle of yourself. Isn't that the friend Severus needs?

21. What particular memory do you think Snape used to conjure his patronus?

I think it would be something to do with Lily or potions. The first time Lily smiled at him, the time they shared together, the first time he made a potion works, the time he finally brewed an experimental potion after many tries...
