Claimed Names

Traditional names are 100% welcome, (Crowfang and Dawnheart are traditional) but members are also welcome to explore semi-traditional names (we do have a -flight,-eyes, and -shadow suffixes). You can also have the same prefix as someone in the opposite clan, just not your own.

Also Star, Pebble, Shell, Storm and now Night are not allowed to be used by any of the clans as suffix or prefix; but Shadow, Wind, Thunder and River are okay to use as prefixes and suffixes! The only other things off limits are things they wouldn’t know of (Octopus, Starfish, Dolphins, Sharks, Koi, other two-leg things). If you need any name help, @ailuronymy has lists for traditional, and @askowlheart is a good helper for semi-traditional and traditional. If you have a questionable name, and you’re unsure, feel free to ask!

Working on updating pretty much all of my characters. Some got very little updated and others got a pretty big redo. Overall I think they’re way more appealing and cohesive, and I’m getting better at drawing tabbies and torties

Settingsky, warrior of WildClan

Brother of Duskwing; son of Owlstorm and Eveningblossom; grandsom of Doestar and Stoatfang; nephew of Elkstar, Horsefur, and Lizardmoon; cousin of Rabbitkit, Weaselkit, Stagkit, and Lizardkit

Shy, yet charismatic, Settingsky find himself in an unconventional position as a warrior. He is a determined pacifist and hates any sort of confrontation. The young warrior decided to put his skills into building and crafting and is always the first to repair dens and nests. This resourcefulness makes him a well-liked member of the clan, although he often doubts his own abilities and worth. 

He is very close to his brother Duskwing. The two would always get into trouble as kits, with Duskwing obviously being the ringleader of their shenanigans. The tortoiseshell enjoys the adventure of exploration, even though he is easily frightened and can always come up with the worst case scenario. He could never see himself doing anything without Duskwing to calm his nerves and take control as the fearless partner in crime.

Settingsky also has a huge crush on his closest friend and medicine cat apprentice Prairiepool. He is head over heals for his friend, but is convinced he couldn’t feel the same way about him.

Prairiepool, medicine cat apprentice of WildClan

Son of Kestrelbelly and Embernose

Prairiepaw began his training as a warrior alongside his best friend Settingpaw. He received his warrior name as usual, but soon after, he realized he liked it much better in the medicine cat with his former denmate and friend Aspenclaw. Elkstar made arrangements to make him Aspenclaw’s new apprentice, and so he once again began training. His friend Settingpaw, now Settingsky, was sad to see his friend move positions and no longer go on patrol with him, but was also happy to see him find his true calling.

Prairiepool has a crush on Settingsky, but is worried that the feelings are one directional and so he keeps his feelings to himself. Aspenclaw is aware of his apprentice’s feelings and attempts to convince him to be honest with the warrior, but is currently unsuccessful.

Duskwing, warrior of WildClan

Brother of Settingsky; son of Owlstorm and Eveningblossom; grandson of Doestar and Stoatfang; nephew of Elkstar, Horsefur, and Lizardmoon; cousin of Weaselkit, Stagkit, Rabbitkit, and Lizardkit

Duskwing is by far the more outgoing and troublesome between him and his brother Settingsky. As an apprentice he would always leap to a new adventure, never stopping to think of he trouble they could get into, all the while encouraging Settingpaw to follow his lead. Despite his bad influence, Duskwing does a lot of good for his anxious older brother. The younger is always willing to be a supportive friend and help him through the doubts he has about himself. He even tries to be a good wingman and encourage him to talk to his crush Prairiepool about his feelings (and he may or may not use his name to make bad puns about it). It hasn’t worked so far, but Duskwing is confident it will happen one day.

Duskwing also makes for a productive member of the Clan as an avid hunter. He is considered one of the best hunters of WildClan, along with Webfoot. He is always trying to become friends with the black tom and get him out of his shell. Poor guy always seems to be around cats much more timid than himself.

Horsefur, queen of WildClan

Daughter of Doestar and Stoatfang; sister of Elkstar, Owlstorm, and Lizardmoon; mother of Stagkit, Rabbitkit, Weaselkit, and Lizardkit; aunt of Settingsky and Duskwing

Horsefur is a sweet and friendly queen of WildClan who has devoted her life to taking care of her kits and other kits in the nursery. She is the most pacifist and mild-mannered of her siblings, so many of the more shy kits and apprentices are drawn to her warm nature.

Eveningblossom, warrior of WildClan

Mate of Owlstorm, mother of Settingsky and Duskwing

Highly empathetic and caring, Eveningblossom is an excellent mother, not just for her own kits, but for all the kits and apprentices of the Clan. Many cats see her as the “mom” of WildClan. She spends a lot of the time in the nursery or with the medicine cats, disliking confrontation.

Doestar, former leader of WildClan

Mate of Stoatfang; mother of Elkheart, Owlstorm, Horsefur, and Lizardmoon; grandmother of Settingsky, Duskwing, Lizardkit, Stagkit, Rabbitkit, and Stoatkit

Doestar was the long-lived leader of WildClan for many moons. She is a gentle and kind leader, and was the cat to move the clans towards long lasting peace after a time of discord. In her old age she chose to retire and leave her legacy to her daughter Elkheart (now Elkstar). She is very close to her mate Stoatfang. The two are not very publicly affectionate, though they are almost always seen sitting next to each other or sharing tongues. Even though their relationship isn’t very conventional, all cats know that they are deeply in love.

Owlstorm, deputy of WildClan

Mate of Eveningblossom; Son of Doestar and Stoatfang; Brother of Elkstar, Horsefur, and Lizardmoon; Father of Settingsky and Duskwing; Uncle of Lizardkit, Weaselkit, Stagkit, and Rabbitkit

Owlstorm is the perfect deputy - intelligent, loyal, strong, and caring. His huge appearance and battle scarred pelt can be intimidating to opponents, but he will always choose the less violent option when available. The one exception is his kids. He can snap at outsiders that may threaten his children, and his huge muscular frame almost always ensures that doesn’t happen. Owlstorm wants to be the best father ever, so he is more present in Settingsky and Duskwing’s lives than other feline fathers.

Stoatfang, senior warrior of WildClan

Mate of Doestar; father of Elkstar, Horsefur, Owlstorm, and Lizardmoon; grandfather of Settingsky, Duskwing, Lizardkit, Stagkit, Weaselkit, and Rabbitkit

Stoatfang has the definition of resting bitch face. His underbite makes him seem like he’s always scowling. He’s not mean hearted at all - in fact he’s quite soft on the inside - but he isn’t very talkative or social, so he can come across as ready to tear someone apart. The only cat he really opens up to is his mate Doestar, with whom he is very close. He also likes to spoil his kids and grandkids. Stoatfang looks pretty good for his age, even though he’s the same age as Doestar, but he insists on never retiring.

Elkstar, leader of WildClan

Daughter of Doestar and Stoatfang; sister of Owlstorm, Horsefur, and Lizardmoon; aunt of Settingsky, Duskwing, Weaselkit, Stagkit, Rabbitkit, and Lizardkit

Elkstar is a a huge goofball and loves to tell jokes and have a good time. Because of this, and due to the fact that she has been leader the shortest time of all the leaders, she is often underestimated by the other clans. Foggystar thinks she doesn’t take anything seriously. However, Elkstar is an efficient and intelligent leader despite her attitude. The other clans just see her demeanor at gatherings and assume she isn’t doing her job properly. Dawnstar of JaggedClan is the only other leader that can see her for the leader that she is, so the two are very close. Dawnstar also loves to crack jokes, much to the dismay of Foggystar and Springstar.

Elkstar is also very close to Webfoot. When he was brought to camp by a patrol, she instantly took to his defense and became very attached to him. She considers him like an adopted son. As a leader, she felt too busy to settle down with a mate and thus never considered having kits. So when Webpaw came along, that idea changed.
