Toriko headcanon (its been a while i did something based on Toriko)

Setsuno indeed not Teppei grandmother. At least not his bio.

When their ways are parted Jiro fell in love with a woman (an another gourmet hunter) with a more mild, chilling person and Jiro liked her calmness and cool-headed personality.

Soon after their marriage, Teppei father was born, but something bad happened and she was unable to get better after giving birth.

Her health detoraited so rapidly that the doctors did not have time to find the solution.

When she died Jiro was beyond mortified and angered.

Now he is alone with his son and his wife died. (He maybe also felt guilt because he tought of his monstrous nature made her sick)

Later he brought his son to Setsuno to help to raise him.

~Spinner~

-Although he plays a ton of video games that have gore and action, he’s also a God at animal crossing. Of course he doesn’t say anything about it out loud because if Shigaraki hears it then he’s probably going to tease him. If not, then Dabi damn sure will. Either way, it’s his little secret honestly. He’s got so many hours logged into New Leaf that his village is insane. When New Horizons came out, Spinner was extremely happy about it. He put back most of his savings and bought the fresh copy to go with his new switch. He literally hasn’t been that excited for a Nintendo game since breath of the wild came out. He might secretly invite Toga into his room and play the game with her since he knows she won’t judge, but there’s no guarantee that she won’t spill the beans about him playing it.

~Twice~

-Jin has tried on multiple occasions to get over his smoking addiction but it just wasn’t working out! At one time he tried throwing away every single cigarette in his apartment, and car. That didn’t work because he went out an hour later and bought up 4 packs (and smoked 3 of them). The second time he tried, he froze his credit card in a block of ice inside the freezer, and donated all his cash/pocket change to keep himself for buying more. It almost worked until he found half a smoked one in his jacket pocket. The third time he attempted to quit, he actually went to a few smokers meetings but he was deemed ‘not mentally stable’ enough to stay. In other words, his personalities started arguing with each other and scared the crap out of the other members. Even till this day he struggles with his addiction. He wants to stop so badly, but it’s just too tempting. Maybe if he had a certain someone in his life to help him?👀

~Setsuno~

-He has a secret talent in playing music. Toya is a master at playing the guitar and his voice isn’t too bad either. He would sometimes come home and play/sing his heart out. It was his way of venting out his emotions and de-stressing after work. His best covers range from Simple Man (lynyrd skynyrd), to Free Falling (tom petty). He was pretty well versed...until he became super focused on the Shie Hassaikai. Still sometimes he comes back and picks up the guitar just to make sure he still has his skills and that they don’t disappear. As for his singing, he does that almost every time he gets in the shower.

~Pops~

-He’s super focused on the outside parts of his home. When he goes out to shop for anything, he always returns with gardening stuff, or bird and fish food. The koi in his pond are the healthiest they could be. And every day he gets a slew of beautifully colored birds that come to eat the food he leaves out. He replaces the water in his bird baths almost every two days, and he also has a small corner of the yard dedicated to his rock garden. Not to even mention how perfect his flowers are that he tends to. As Chisaki would put it: ‘the outdoor area is Pop’s happy place’ and it’s very true. He meditates out there with Tengai every Friday morning, and other times he’ll sit out back at night and watch the moon above him. Pops is such a peaceful sweetheart (despite his yakuza ties and the things he’s done in the past). 

~Compress~

-Sako has an alley cat that he claims as his own! It started one day when he was coming back to the base after a long walk outside. He spotted a scruff looking grey cat hiding behind the trashcans and watching him. After he entered the base, he shuffled around in the kitchen until he found some canned tuna. Since it was cheap and affordable, he decided it would serve as makeshift cat food. Sako would feed this cat every day and night, siting on the steps and talking to it about his day while the small thing would purr happily as it ate. It got closer and closer until finally one day he approached Sako without being prompted with food first. Compress brought the cat inside and cleaned it. He also took it to a cheap vet and gave it a checkup as well. The reason why he doesn’t let it inside is because Toga is insane and he doesn’t trust her around cute things since she’s known to cut stuff up. Another reason is that Magne is allergic to cats, and Tomura can be downright cruel sometimes. Sako allows the cat to stay in the alleyway, and he rarely misses a feeding.

‘Sittin’ around, waitin’ to be kidnapped. This is the best day ever.’

  The sarcastic thought passed through Toya Setsuno’s mind as he stood propped up against an alleyway wall. The mission was relatively simple. Act as the bait. Quote unquote, “get kidnapped”, so a surprise strike could be garnered. Why some low-level gang decided to go against the Hassaikai was beyond Setsuno. Why he had to serve as the bait was even farther on that spectrum.

  ‘Why would they even want to kidnap one of us, anyway?’ He questioned, eyebrows furrowed as he looked back to the entrance of the alley for potential enemies waiting to ambush. Questioning Overhaul on the matter once did not gain a result, and Setsuno didn’t want to push it or aggravate the Boss. “I owe him that, at the very least.”

  Letting out a sigh, he slid a hand into his jeans pocket and looked up at the dark sky. ‘Chronostasis said their supposed “secret plan” was to catch one of us off guard here at one o’clock…’ He thought again, pulling out his phone and checking the time. ‘12:27 a.m…’

  Putting his phone back into his pocket, he looked up at the sky set between the two buildings of the alleyway. The crescent moon was out, a sight Toya might have appreciated if he wasn’t bored out of his mind. “Okay, remind me why I had to be both early and the target.” He said to himself with another exasperated sigh, adjusting his mask.

  ‘No, ya’ already know the answer to the latter.’ He thought, knowing how most of the other Expendables had a thing against the uncleanliness that was the cities alleys. And you couldn’t catch any of the self-respecting higher-ups in the gang dead there. ‘’Pretty sure the Boss would bathe in Clorox after even getting a glimpse of this place.’ He thought as he kicked at an empty beer bottle lying at his feet.

  Toya watched as it slowly rolled down the alley, stopping promptly at a crate tipped on its side. He wouldn’t deny the surprise he felt as two eyes peeked out of it, looking to the bottle and then to him. And before he knew it, out crawled a filthy black alleycat.

  “Oh…” Setsuno said lowly, now feeling like a prick for potentially waking it. “Sorry, lil’ guy.” He said to it unconsciously, watching as it started to stalk towards him. Crouching down, he put out a hand to pet the feline, not expecting it to be receptive due to their nature. Alleycats are usually abandoned, hurt, and timid creatures at heart. Toya would be lying if he said he didn’t have a soft spot for the species.

  When the cat allowed him to pet it's head, he let out a small noise of surprise, followed by him lightly smiling under his mask. “Y’know...most animals hate me.” He said to the critter in a quiet voice, knowing it couldn’t reply. All it did was let out a content purr as Toya gave in a gentle pat.

  “In some ways, you and I aren’t too different…” he trailed off, noting the cat's multiple scars and swollen eye. “You must’ve been through hell, huh? Just to be abandoned here.” He said sadly, looking back at the crate the feline came from. “Abandoned...lonely...broken...not even able to put a stop to it. Just expected to recover, like a piece of you wasn’t just savagely ripped away.”

 Thinking about the katana he had slung across his back, a thought crossed his mind for a split second. ‘Y’know...I could stop your suffering.’ He thought, conflicted about his sense of mercy. However, he quickly shook the thought out of his mind. “Nah...there’s hope for ya’, I know it. You’ll find your purpose, you’re not a waste.” He said out loud, running his free hand through his blonde locks. ‘That’s somethin’ that separates us, I guess.’

  He looked back down at the critter with a troubled face. “Y’know, if the Boss wasn't such a stickler for cleanliness, I’d be tempted to take ya’ in.” He said as gently as possible, looking down at his hand he had petted with. It was now covered with filth, presumably from the feral animal. Wiping his hand on his jeans without a care as he knew he’d alright have to sanitize himself for even being there, he petted the creature one last time.

  “For now, you should really get back…” He trailed off, looking to the entrance of the alley and back again. ‘If the altercation is gonna go as I think it will, the last thing I’d want is for ya’ to get involved.’ He thought, picking up the cat and taking it back to its crate. Setting it down gently, he sighed. “I’m sorry, lil’ guy. Ya’ deserve better.” He said, taking off the jacket he had been wearing over his normal dress shirt and placing it in the crate to serve as a blanket.

  “Good luck…” He said sadly, petting the gentle creature on the head one last time before walking back to his post. Upon returning, his mind only continued to fill with thoughts. Like dark storm clouds, the thoughts came, casting a haze of self-doubt and questioning upon the young man. The simple comparison of himself to the feline with a hopeful future made him cast himself back to a place of doubt.

  “No, no, no...stop.” He said to himself, gently slapping himself on the head. “These thoughts won’t get ya anywhere. Except back to that place…” He said lowly, remembering the time of his life where the thoughts had taken over him completely. Where it truly seemed as if there was nowhere to go to escape from the thoughts. And the only way to be free from them…

  “-Dumbass, what are you doing?” He said again, managing to clear most of the thoughts for the time being. “You know what you are and what your purpose is now. You’re a pawn, so he can advance…” His voice trailed off as he looked back up at a cloud that now obscured his view of the moon.

  ‘Yeah, all that matters now is that I’m a good pawn. So I still have something to live for…’ He thought again, eyes welling up with tears. Desperately shutting them in effort to stop it, he unsheathed the blade from off his back.

  “And that starts with me fulfilling the mission.” He said, looking at his blade intently. ‘And by not letting your head cloud up with those thoughts, idiot. By not returning to that cloud of unknowing…’ His thoughts trailed as he let out an uneasy sigh. Looking blankly at the night sky, Toya stood, waiting for the plan to take motion.

-Oh my God, you’re so fucking annoying to him but he loves you so it’s not that big of a deal. I think when it comes to Tomura, there is a right and wrong time to be playful and teasing. The wrong time (as you guess it) would be when he’s in the middle of an online match. That’s when you’ll mostly face his wrath if you tease him too much.

-He’d never go as far as to hit you or seriously injure you, but he might pinch you or flick your forehead if you piss him off too much. However, he’s not always so aggressive when it comes to this type of thing. Sometimes he’ll return the favor and tease you back. Tomura has a little bit of an odd way of going about teasing you. Sometimes he’ll walk past where you’re sitting and pull your hair (or tug your hijab) (or if you’re a bald reader, he’ll thump your head). Other times (depending on your height) he’ll hold things out of your reach, or hide something from you that he knows you’re looking for. 

-He actually kinda enjoys your teasing and playful personality whether he admits to that or not. I don’t think Tomura could handle if things were super serious all the time between you two. I think he would get bored or he’d think you didn’t like him very much or something. So keep up that teasing during the right moments and everything should be just fine between you two!

~Spinner~

-He’s easily flustered so I’m sure you know exactly how to tease him. He’s also a rather playful and awkward guy when it comes to you, so I think for the most part you guys have a lighthearted relationship with each other!

-You two show goofy most likely through texting. You guys are always sending each other the dumbest memes, or engaging in terrible pick-up line competitions. When you two get together, it’s a lot of fun! Spinner of course feels awkward when he teases you, and a little insecure that you might think he’s some sort of weirdo, but you reassure him lol. 

-Your teasing can easily take a sexy turn from time to time. Because the best type of teasing to get a genuine rise out of Shuichi would be flirting type of teasing. Walk past him and run your finger against the back of his neck. Watch the way he shivers before he turns to you and blushes a dusty pink. Whisper inappropriate things in his ear and watch him stutter and he tries to find the words to reply. Hell even non-sexual things can get him blushing. Just compliment his outfit or his swordsmanship, and he’s already blushing again. 

~Twice~

-Even when he’s in his average and more stable mode, he still doesn’t mind your teasing. He’s probably the funnest person to be in a relationship with if you can handle all the baggage that comes with dating him. He loves your teasing and playfulness, and uses it to measure your mood for the day. He pays attention to most things you say and do, and sometimes you guys engage in all out prank wars with each other. You’re truly his ball of sunshine!

-Bubaigawara will literally tease you more than you can tease him. He’s always popping out and scaring the crap out of you, then laughing when you get frustrated and stomp away. Of course that never lasts because you’re right back at it as you tease him or play a prank on him the very next day. The best thing you guys do is the roasting trend on each other where you might start it off like:

“It’s the lack of eyebrows for me” Whereas he goes:

“It’s the odd attraction to villains for me” Then you might say:

“It’s the mental instability for me” And it just goes on and on until either one of you gets offended or one of you can’t continue due to laughing so much.

~Setsuno~

-At first he can’t tell if you’re being serious or not. A big example would be if you were to tease him about not doing something right. Surely you were just kidding around but he took it seriously. You have to be careful with the way you tease him because he’s damaged from his last relationship. That means to go easy on the rude (Dabi style) teasing for now until you guys get more comfy in the relationship together

-He might tease you a little along the way once he feels comfy, but it always gets followed by an apology afterwards. Like “Maybe you should get rest so you don’t end up scaring any kids away with those eye-bags of yours...I’m sorry baby, you know I didn’t mean that.” You just kinda have to laugh it off and let him know it’s alright, and that he doesn’t have to apologize a million times in a row. It’s just a little teasing and hopefully he’ll come to understand that eventually.

-Later in the relationship he’s gotten so comfy with you that he can withstand your jokes and know the difference between reality and just you being playful with him. You can thankfully continue to bring back to jokes where he’s cleaning and you do the classic “missed a spot there”, without him freaking out and thinking you’re being for-real. To this day he still apologizes for his teasing toward your appearance but he doesn’t feel the need to do it for other things (Thank God). 

~Stain~

-If there is one sure fire way to piss Chizome off, it would be to tease him a bunch. He’s a bit of a serious man so he doesn’t really have time for something so childish. Especially if you were bad at reading the tone of a room and decided to tease him at the worst moments. He considers you to be childish for the most part, and doesn’t really want to take part in your stupid antics.

-But that’s the great thing about you dating Stain...your ability to change him for the better

-Before you came along he had absolutely no interest in love, now he waits up for you when you leave to run errands for the day or he worries about you if you even go out at night. Now he thinks about you like 40% of the time (which is really a lot for him). Before you came, he was living in a nasty ass, shabby little studio apartment with crates serving the purpose of furniture. Now you wouldn’t even recognize the place after you got your neat hands on it. Before you came, he saw no need for cell phones other than to track the news on important stuff, now he checks his phone after a job well done to see whatever stupid ass meme you sent him for the day.

-So naturally this goes for teasing too. However, when he teases you back he might keep a straight face before smirking at seeing your annoyance. You are the only person who can playfully tease him and not wind up dead. Consider yourself very lucky lol
