The Amazing Digital Circus: Guardian AU

My TADC AU is now up and running! I will be making a poster, character cards, general art, and possibly comics based around the storyline. Here’s the information!:

Description:

Caine is the ringmaster and ruler of The Amazing Digital Circus, but there are some things that even he can’t control. NPCs go rogue all the time, often acting out and trying to genuinely hurt the circus members as they go on adventures. Because of this, Caine has always appointed two circus members he deems the most worthy to protect him and others from danger. They have been different over the years (mainly due to abstractions), but currently Jax and Ragatha are his Guardians. The two of them are more privileged than the regular circus members: they are allowed to wield weapons, swear, indulge in vices, and the like as long as they do so in private, do their jobs well, and don’t disrupt the "family-friendly" atmosphere of the circus. Caine trusts them…or so he says. And to make matters worse, it looks like NPCs are forming an uprising to overthrow Caine, led by none other than a revived Gummigoo! Travel through the colorful world of TADC, but covered in a grimy layer of violence, corruption, and deception.

Can I make fanart?

Yes, fanart is encouraged and always appreciated! Just make sure to credit me as the creator when needed. Do not use my creations if you are hateful/racist/sexist/anti-LGBTQ or just problematic in any other way. I don’t want what I make to be associated with these things. As for NSFW stuff…I would prefer if you didn’t. (Okay, well…now that I think about it, sure, go ahead, go crazy. But please don’t send it to me, I don’t really wanna see it. And tag it appropriately! What are the religious themes?

Christianity. I am a Christian myself, but I also really enjoy religious horror and researching different religions. Does Pomni represent Jesus in this story? Not really. But, I will be using themes/images of Christianity (like angels, for example) to enhance the horror. I also like studying Japanese and Chinese mythological figures, purely out of interest. I will never try to push my beliefs onto the audience in any way. People can believe in whatever they want!

Are there any ships?

Bunnydoll (Jax x Ragatha) is the main ship. It is mostly implied/referenced and nothing overly romantic happens. The story focuses on their emotional bond since they are both Caine’s guardians. If you don’t like the ship, please don’t be rude to people who do. And if you do like the ship, don’t be rude to people who don’t! There’s enough hate on the internet already. Just be mindful that we all like different things, and have fun!

How will the story be told?

Through comics, probably. It’s easier for me to write things in a document (as a script) and then draw, so it will take time. I will also make art on the side that may or may not have canon information or events. It depends.

What inspired you?

The 70s (lots of yellow, orange and brown colors), Skinnamarink, religious horror, vintage Las Vegas, vintage snacks, and other random stuff. I have specific inspirations for different characters. But my inspiration to even start this project is definitely @/burrotello and The Amazing Digital Fight Club AU. It’s awesome!

Can I ask questions about characters, the story, etc?

Yes, but if it’s an answer I don’t want to reveal yet…well, we’ll see what happens. Sometimes, I will make drawings where a character reacts or responds!

I think Jm and Tae being same age has been both a blessing and a struggle to them at times. A blessing in the way they had a person with whom they could just be without having to hold back because of age, but a struggle because their characters (especially early on) can clash easily. I think these days they don’t clash as much.. or at all, but when they were younger.. I can totally see it. I think Jm’s seriousness and Tae’s freespiritedness didn’t match. Being as young as they were and especially under mountains of stress.. at times they probably just took their pent up anger out on each other… just because with each other they could. I think there was a huge lack of misunderstanding, with Jm being able to set aside his physical needs better than Tae and with Tae being more prone to be mischievous (none of this is meant to say either one was wrong).

I think a lot of what they told us is actually true. I think they fought a lot. I think for Jm it might’ve been hard to have been the last to be in the group, the others had already bonded, Tae and Jk were probably already very close, elimination still hang over his head before debut. We’ve heard how Jm hardly slept, and I think Tae just probably got to him a lot. I think Tae (and Jk combined) could be very annoying 😂. When Tae and Jk say they got scolded a lot.. I think that’s true. I recently said that I feel that Jm also has a tendency to hang with the hyungs, and I think he was part of the ‘scolding Taekook’ brigade. We just heard Jm and Jk talk about this a bit, and how Jk had to meditate between Tae and Jm often. I think that’s probably very true. From how I understand Jm’s words.. he thinks of Tae and him early on as complicated.

Things got better ofcourse. Who knows exactly why? I think they just got to know each other better, and perhaps through conversation with others they built an understanding. It could just be as simpler as admitting that perhaps you see the differences between you and the other, but you can accept those differences and still feel the other is a good and nice person.

It’s possible they got to understand that they were also similar in certain ways.. and that they both went through some of the same things and just reacted differently. I believe that Jm and Tae shared intimate stuff and became a source of comfort to each other. Jm comforting Tae isn’t fake and I think Tae really needed someone who was able to give him that physical comfort. Of just being held and being listened to.. and I think Jm is really good at that in general.

I don’t think there’s romantic feelings there (obviously 😊) I think Tae really liked Jm’s body 😅. But I’ve not seen them look at each other in amazement or something. I think they’re just really close and are connected through having gone through a lot together. Theirs is a basis of trust, of that I’m sure.

2) Sukka (romantic relationship between Sokka and Suki) should be the primary ship in your work.

Including other ships in your work is totally fine, but they shouldn’t break Sukka.

For the purposes of this event, poly ships that contain Sokka and Suki don’t count as Sukka. Stories where Sokka and/or Suki are in another relationship towards the beginning but Sukka is endgame are okay! However, the work should contain more Sukka than it does the other ship(s).

3) It's okay for the work to focus primarily on Sokka or Suki as independent people, as long as Sukka appears somewhere (and fits the criteria above).

For example, if I wanted to write a fic that's mostly about Suki's character development after the war, and Sokka appears in less than half the story, but they're still a couple and they think about each other/write to each other/visit each other once in a while, then that still fits for this event!

Or, if I wanted to draw a picture of a grown-up Sokka and a grown-up Foo Foo Cuddlypoops charging into battle, and I put Suki's face in the background with big pink heart eyes, that would also fit for this event!

4) Please tag all your content appropriately!

This includes mature or potentially triggering content like NSFW and violence, as well as content like additional ships.

5) Yes, NSFW content is allowed.

Intimate content should be consensual in nature, and please make sure to follow the guidelines of whatever platform is hosting your work.

Lunter is not problematic because:

• Bisexual woman x bisexual man relationships are not heterosexual, they are bisexual and a part of the LGBQTIA+ Community. So what if they wouldn’t be censored? Biphobic viewers will think they get “fixed” when they begin dating. Multisexual duaric relationships are just as valid as sapphic ones. Every relationship is valid.

• Luz and Hunter being siblings is a headcanon. Camila has not adopted Hunter and the show has ended. Camila viewed every single one of the Hexside kids as her own. Only things inside of the show on-screen are considered canon, like Darius taking in Hunter. Things outside are the crew’s personal headcanons.

• Luz views Hunter as a friend, not a brother. Family does not always mean literal blood/legal family, it’s a term used by people who are extremely close to each other. The entire Hexsquad was a family. She has not directly said “You’re my brother.”

• You can view your lover’s parent as a parental figure without automatically wishing for them to be your parent.

• Luz will always canonically be in a relationship with her girlfriend.

*Harassing people is pointless since 9.5/10 people won’t listen. Just block people if you think that the content is problematic, that’s what I do. Harassing people still makes you a bad person, even if the content is seriously problematic. If it’s seriously bad, block and report.

OOC FAQ: How I RP

Hi! I’m Julius’ mod, you can call me Canis. This is mostly a silly little lighthearted blog where I do a little serious RP. Below, you’ll find some rules and guidelines I have.

Because this is a side blog and because I’m 25+ and married, a student & TA with two jobs, I’m not always online all the time or able to dedicate a lot of time to RP. This blog is for funsies! I can take days to do replies for serious rp. My tag for earnest threads is #actual rp

Some general rules and guidelines in no particular order:

- Feel free to send Julius questions! Just don’t be too weird.

- I don’t ship seriously. Julius might hint at having schoolboy crushes or the like typical of boys his age, but he is only 13. Don’t try to do romantic rp with him, especially if your character is an adult. (This hasn’t happened at all thus far, but worth mentioning!)

- This being said, I don’t mind Julius having adult friends/mentors/etc, most of the people he knows are adults! He can be pretty chatty.

- Please don’t godmod or powerplay, that takes a lot of the fun out of it for me.

- Related but worth its own point, don’t manhandle or try to kidnap/physically overpower Julius (outside of combat), especially without permission. I’m not comfortable with that. He is a little boy.

- I’m comfortable with lightly participating in ongoing plot lines, but again, make sure it doesn’t branch into godmodding or powerplaying.

- I don’t necessarily do RPs in a linear fashion and any plots/aus etc. that tie together should please be discussed.

- I also don’t really have a lot of time to read/interact with larger plots on a lot of different blogs, so if you want to do something that ties in, like I said in the last point, kindly fill me in and discuss. Feel free to DM me.

- I operate based on a lot of AUs and don’t take temporality of RP too seriously. I can put Julius anywhere at any time really.

- If I don’t follow you, that doesn’t mean I don’t want to RP with you! Feel free to DM me about starting a thread, etc.

You can call me Bibis, I’m 26 years old and roleplaying has been one of my hobbies for over ten years, I’ve been a part of the Bleach fandom for about that same amount of time too. However, I still haven’t finished reading the manga (I’m always working and when I finally have some free time I have no energy to do anything guys, help). But I’ll eventually finish it, I swear… Or I’ll at least watch the anime bc I’m super hyped about this revival. ANYWAYS, yes, this is just a heads up that I do know some things about the last arc of the manga but not everything. But don’t worry, depending on what we choose to write, I’ll do my reasearch!! &lt;3

My main verse is set when Ichigo is around 18 years old and finishing up high school!! ‘Sup, I’m Ellis, and this is my shamelessly-cringe sideblog. I was like this on main, too. I am like this irl. You can’t make me stop being weird, you can only join in the weirdness. This is my comfort character sideblog, which abides by the same rules as my main. This means any forms of bigotry, including: homophobia, transphobia, racism, ace exclusion, and general asshole-ness will get you immediately blocked. I am also anti-genocide, so if you think that war is good or glorious, get out of here. This may be a fan blog, but I still stand against senseless violence, and support the people of Palestine. Petty fandom discourse is also not allowed. I am just having fun, and I am not hurting anyone. If you think me liking Hatsune Miku makes me evil, that is a you problem. In my brain, there is a difference between “me and this character are almost the same age” and “that character is 9.”
