As part of my participation in the Sengoku Visions RP on Twitter, I decided that this character truly needed to be expanded on and Twitter wouldn’t allow me to do that with how it’s formatted. This is independent of the original Sengoku Vision Series that is written by @tamaraswift3 and is a mix of references frmthe RP and creations from the muse himself. I hope you’ll take the time to read this and hope you all enjoy.

“You… will you protect Ichi’s brother? Ichi and nii-sama will be safe, right?” (to Kage)

“Of course. It is my duty as a demon of Oda, Lady Oichi.” Kage kneels and bows his head in front of her.  Even though Nobunaga does not need any protection as he knows what the man is capable of even beyond his comprehension.  Kage makes sure nothing stabs him in the back or anything that interferes with his conquest of the Land of the Rising Sun.  That is his role as his demon of the shadows. 

“I will make sure nothing comes to harm, Oichi-sama.” Kage answered. “You have my word.” @tales-of-lost-fantasy ( Oichi )

“?!” She heard the sound of yelling and explosion nearby and then,

“Lady Kouki! Lady Kouki! We’re under attack!! We need you now!” A soldier runs up to her, telling her the news. The girl followed the solider out of the woods only to see Oda soldiers sprawled all over the ground while the remaining ones standing as they try to combat the threat by surrounding it. Kouki’s eyes look to the one responsible for the attack. It is a man clothed in blue with a distinctive helmet. It reminded her of the bright rock in the sky. A crescent moon. Kouki watches the man and notes somethin-

“Kouki!!” The girl blinks and looks over to her superior general who is taking cover while jerking a pointing finger at the enemy frantically. “Do something!! Get rid of him!” He shouted his orders. Oh, right...

“Alright.” The girl, Kouki replied monotonically in a soft tone as she discarded the bloody rag to the ground. She goes forward as her fellow Oda soldiers clear a path for her into the fray before pulling back. Letting her take care of the enemy by herself. 

For a moment, she didn’t say anything to him as she rotates the bar mace in her hand while staring at him blankly. And then....as a moment passes, she charges at him, closing the distance between them and swings her mace at him.  

��� The Date army was moving at a steady pace, the horses huffing with each step they took. The leader folded his arms over his chest as he led them, a smile over his lips as his body tingled with a battle, whether it is short or not.

⏚ His Right Eye always by him, telling him that a small group fighting that was the Oda’s army. Even mentioning someone who was a demon who fought for him. Kojuuro was always so well informed and he was one of the many people he held close.

“Ha! A demon? Unless they can kill a dragon they can call themselves a demon.”

⏚ The horse he rode sped faster as he used the back of his feet to smack the sides of it. It leaped into the air as he pulled out his six swords, stood on top of the saddle and jumped to the army that wasn’t expecting an attack so soon. Electricity surged through him as he landed on the ground at the center of them. Sending debris and people flying in all directions. Some died from the impact of the lightning that touched their body.

⏚ As the dust was slowly settling, the individuals held tight onto their weapons, trying to see who it was that rudely interrupted them. Masamune only smirked as another wave of electricity appeared around his arms as he sheathed all, except one, of his blades.

“Now….who’s ready to party?”

The girl heard a yell and turns to the man wearing a red bandana and holding two spears. Is he talking to her? She gave him a look which stopped her onslaught.

Heart ....of hearts? She questions that wording in her head. Such things like that failed for this girl to comprehend. Should she answer his question?

“Purpose?” She repeated. She paused, turning the grip of her mace for a moment, before answering,

“I just fight. Oda told me so.” She answered monotonically with pure honestly. There is no real reason. Though there is a real reason, it is something she hasn’t thought about it yet.  After that answer, she can hear from her fellow soldiers yelling something about this guy being the Crimson Demon of War and other things that made this girl go back what is her purpose intended for.  

Oh. Guess, she has to get rid of him too.

“Yeah. I think that’s why.” The girl said as she approaches the man. Such an answer is so genuinely as if it doesn’t bother her as if... it’s acceptable. In fact, doing these acts made her accustomed to this, since it’s war. She didn’t think anything was immoral about this.

Indifferent eyes stared straight to the battlefield while carrying a metal blunt weapon which is her mace. Her enemies have begun to back up after what she has done. She was sent by Oda to take care of the enemy. So far it wasn’t a problem, she just sent people flying and make sure people riding on horses don’t get past her by breaking one of their legs so they will fall. She is told by Oda that she needs to do whatever it’s necessary to win. That’s what she is ordered to and she doesn’t mind. 

Orders are orders. As long she’s done here, she gets to go home for dinner and sleep. She doesn’t know what she gets to do today after this.

Unknownst to the girl, she is cheered on by her fellow soldiers while being the Demon of Oda who has come to assist them against the Takeda troops. Telling her to get rid of them and keep on moving towards the commander. To the girl, she remains indifferent to who the enemy is while she fights or eliminates, they’re just nothing but problems to get rid of. 

But on this day, it will be different.

The Lighting Beast encounters @takedacub

Yukimura had never laid witness such a chilling display, there was no honor in the way the young girl fought; no passion burning behind her eyes. Ruthless to human and animal alike, she plowed through his brothers in arms towards himー but still he hesitated.

She was but a child !  How could Oda employ the hearts of innocents in his demonic crusade ?   And how could he, Yukimura, raise his blade to someone who had yet to learn right from wrong ?  He had little choice, and in the back of his mind Masamune’s voice rung out like a bellー

“Only when you stare fixedly at the future, do injustices become just"ー but still Yukimura’s grip faltered as he crossed his spears before him.

”Troubled youth !!  " He cried out, hoping to reach her with his words before his blades had to, “For what purpose do you fight ?!  In your heart of hearts, what pushes you to act with such cruel urgency ?!  ”

What the hell?

The white-clothed figure knelt down as he huddles over before coughing out loud. He takes shelter at the shrine which is ironic. What the hell is going on? Is he getting sick? That’s not possible. He didn’t get sick whenever since he wore the mask. Ever since he turned into a creature of the dark for the naga demon, Goa.  Goa made that clear that he’s not human anymore. 

Unbelievable! 

If that’s the case, when did he get sick?

Goa Da Naga Kage tries to think back. So far, he has done his hunts as usual. hunting so-called strong samurai and others. Then he meets some fellow yokai which he rather avoids because honestly, some of them stupid. Then he snoops around as he heard the news that the Ashina Clan kidnaps a young prince that is rumored to have an ancient bloodline if not mystical. Honestly, mystical bloodline? He scoffs at the idea. They probably nabbed some poor monk. 

Coughing, he sucked his teeth and continues to think back. What else has it been? Well, he did encounter a man. A one-armed man. He wasn’t sure if he’s a samurai or something else. He doesn’t know how but he can sense it- 

Then Kage’s thoughts stop when coughing comes back this time harder.

“Damn it, this is not happening. What the hell is going on?!” Kage hissed.

The Shimazu samurai is doing errands as well making preparations before going into a battle to claim some heads. Just water and some rations for the duration of the trip to the battle would do. Having the coins in his hands, he smiles as he knew what to buy. Then suddenly, he felt someone crash into him and heard a thud on the ground. 

With a raised eyebrow, he simply turns around to face this clumsy person, 

“You there. You should be careful who you run into..”He stated firmly.

The Serpent of Shadows and The Lighting Tengu meets with @sengokujidai (The Devil King)

“Lord Oda, what is it that you summoned us? What are your orders?” Asked Goa Da Naga Kage as he and Kouki Seon Tae kneels to their lord, Oda Nobunaga. The youths were taken in by Oda because of their abilities whether they liked it or not. Kage serves the Devil as his shinobi while Tae serves as a powerful vanguard to get rid of any pests invading Owari. 

“.....” The girl hasn’t said anything only respond to the orders given to her as she slowly lifts her head up.

Uta regards the statement with a soft, quick silence. ‘ Want ’ is not applicable to somebody such as herself. Her life had been nothing but pushing the ‘ wants ’ ( but look at her now, she wants still ).

 “ It doesn’t matter what I want, ” she responds, “ Nobody really wants to know what I want. I think, in fact, they’ll laugh at it. ”

 Peace. Her life’s duty - her responsible desire. Every breathe she takes, though, makes her feel as that the land gets further and further away from such a state. But, more selfishly, she wants to rest.

 With that thought, she pulls her lips into a tight smile. It’s a weak attempt at covering herself up.

 “ Don’t worry about me. ”

“You’re lying.” Kage could look at this woman. “People always want something. I want something as well. And it’s not money.” In fact, it is much more ironically. Shdwkyz knew that he wants the exact thing that Uta wants. Peace.  However, he is so unaware of it that he desires it.

Deep down,he he gets tired of the fighting between warlords over the control of this piece of dirt. But it’s hard to be truthful. He is in conflict with himself. Usually, he likes hunting down samurai and warlords for the fun of it. So it’s hard to say what he wants truly. 

“So tell me what you want.” He kneels before her. “Even if it’s a long reach or something mundane. I don’t think any person will laugh at that.”

Coming from the woods which is her temporary home before she moves on. Donning a red cloak over her petite form as her bare feet treads the path quietly. It is nighttime as there is a full moon is in the sky. She was living in the trees for a while, watching the strange inhabitants doing something. One time, she came over and plucks the plants from the crops. To her, it looks edible and so she took a few to eat.

This happens over a few times. One time, they put up a fence at the edge of the forest. However, it didn’t deter this girl as she jumps over it and continues her food search. That was a few days ago. 

Tonight, it’s going to be different for this girl. As she has no idea of whose these crops belonged to.

Tae recently came back from a mission to destroy some enemy troops stationed somewhere near Toyotomi’s borders. She obliterates the enemy troops with little effort but not without some casualties. Nobody dies on her side but came back with some injuries such as concussion and fractured bones. Because of that, Tae sat alone at lunch, eating her rice. Because of her strength and her indifference in battle with the addition of still having the mokka crest on her back. Soldiers in Toyotomi avoid Tae at all costs except for battles. 

There is the gossip of people saying that Tae, the once former Demon of Oda, a ‘she-beast without thought’, an attack dog that bred from Oda or questioning if she’s human, to begin with as if she’s a yokai in disguise. There were times that the soldiers went the other way whenever she comes in their direction. Whether Tae is aware of the gossip or not, she just stares into the distance, not paying attention to the men who talk such ill of her.

Usually, in Oda, people were awed by her strength and rewarding her with extra rice cakes. But now? It’s different. It’s like everyone is wary if not afraid of her. There is still gossip around her. 

But still, Tae continues to eat her rice cake by herself.
