What is a River Cruise?
A river cruise is a voyage along inland waterways, typically aboard a smaller vessel designed to navigate rivers and canals. Unlike ocean cruises, which traverse vast expanses of open sea, river cruises offer a more intimate and immersive experience, allowing passengers to glide through scenic regions inaccessible to larger ships. Europe's legendary rivers, such as the Danube river, Rhine river, and Seine river, are among the most popular destinations for river cruising, but these journeys can also be found in other parts of the world, including Asia, Africa, and the Americas.

Day 7 in Europe! It’s Sunday.. we attended the American church in Paris and felt so blessed to be in a church service with so many fellow believers! We sang this together “Frail children of dust, and feeble as frail, in thee do we trust, nor find thee to fail. Your mercies, how tender, how firm to the end, our Maker, Defender, Redeemer, and Friend!” Not only is God our Maker but I hope you live life to find that He is our greatest defender, He will do anything to redeem and save us and He is at the end of the day the best friend anyone could ever ask for! We went on to a lunch cruise on the River Seine!! So so lovely and the food was so delicious!! Then up the Eiffel Tower!! With some great pictures and views of Paris!! #makerdefenderredeemerfriend #eiffeltower #seinerivercruise https://www.instagram.com/p/CVI2drvMEYQ/?utm_medium=tumblr

Friday night we embarked on a nice dinner cruise along the Seine River. It was lovely!!!! The views were excellent and the food delicious! We started with the salmon, foie gras and soup. Which was outstanding. We however we were disappointed the Beef Wellington was unavailable that evening. But I had the sea bream and mom the roast duckling. Mom doesn’t like dark meat but she found the duck tasty. We both were able to try something new so it was a great experience. We had a glass of champagne before the boat headed out and a whole bottle of a delicious white wine. Also we both had the lemon tart dessert. It was scrumptious! Ask you can see we both left little on the plate. #seinerivercruise #seineriver #food #foodie #foods #foodaholic #foodphoto #foodphotography #foodpic #foodporn #foodgasm #fooddiary #foodgasm #foodlover #foodlove #delicious #yummy #foodstagram #foodpassion #cuisine #feedfeed #foodforfoodies #lovefood #foodist #getinmybelly #instafood (at Seine River) https://www.instagram.com/p/BwxnyOhp-WF/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=8ju8y6v9ylge

Cruising Beautiful Seine River at Night
After an intense day of discussions at work, I was fortunate to be able to board a two hour river cruise in Seine River, which provides spectacular views of major Paris landmarks at night including the Eiffel Tower, Musee d'Orsay, Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris, and the Statue of Liberty.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
During the cruise, guests were treated to free-flow champagne and lots of small bites to keep everyone satisfied and entertained.

The two hour cruise ended on a high note as the Eiffel Tower sparkled brilliantly to bid everyone a good night.

Stay tune for my next post as I explore Station F and Microsoft France office.
