I can finally share this thing I made for a friend's Monster Hunter themed art game :D I dont know anything about MH. sorry if it shows haha

SAGRITTARI

! Travelers are advised to avoid this monster's territory during fall seasons, as to not fall prey to its lures. If attacked, travelevers are advised to find cover and stay quiet as not to provoke the monster further.

The Sagrittari, also known commonly as "Tremorbirds" are aggressive, rare bird wyverns found in the savanna. Its most distinctive feature is its tall, armored talons, stilting the creature's body 6 meters above the ground. Despite the Sagrittari's weight, it is capable of using its talons to repeatedly crash down on prey with a force exceeding 200 kilos, crushing with terrifying speed and precision while aiming towards the head of its prey. It also boasts a long raptor-like tail, and while mainly used for balance, Sagrittari also whip them with force in combat to bruise.

The upper bodies of Sagrittari are vulnerable, with hollow bones for flight. As a result, Sagrittari are rarely seen laying down, often opting to sleep standing.

DIET: Ungulates + other mammals Arthropods Serpents + other reptiles The Sagrittari is a strict carnivore, and will attempt to eat any prey smaller than itself. Uniquely, its armored legs and high stilted body allow it to more effectively hunt venomous creatures common in savanna regions, where other predators struggle to do the same.

LURES: During fall hunting seasons, Sagrittari disguise themselves in the nearby rainforest. Standing on one leg to mimic a tree trunk, and hiding its body and tail within the cover of branches at night, it awaits unwitting prey to walk within range, their raised talon ready to strike.

Some reports have noted that Sagrittari use fruits and nuts as bait to attract prey quicker.

These birds stand at a maximum height of 1.3 m (4 ft 3 in).

They feed on a wide variety of small animals, including venomous snakes.

Endangered due to habitat destruction.

This is a secretarybird, the most alien-looking bird I have ever seen in person. It stands about four feet tall, and hunts lizards, snakes, and other small animals by walking along looking at the ground. It can strike prey with its beak, but often uses its long legs and claws.

I have read that secretarybirds often hunt in pairs or groups, but the two I saw were solitary.
