me and my gf have an oc named dr darling (yes its a blackadder reference) who has a degree in xeno-pedagogy and she raised maul, and even though everyone in the empire has a doctorate in space racism she managed to also have it in regular racism towards irish and slavs. her plumber is from imotski her electrician is from čačak

Können wir kurz genießen dass sie Nolin völlig klischeefrei über die Bühne gebracht haben?

Weder Noah noch Colin wurden irgendwie besonders feminin oder tuntig dargestellt, keine warmen Brüder, einfach zwei völlig normale Jugendlichen die Gefühle entdecken und unterschiedlich aber doch irgendwie glaubhaft damit umgehen?

Es war nicht perfekt aber wann ist liebe das schon? Ich habe schon wirklich unsinnigere Beziehungen im echten Leben erlebt und Kika hat meiner Meinung nach sehr viel sehr richtig gemacht für die wenige Zeit die sie hatten.

Nicht nur dass es ein gewagter Schritt war so etwas überhaupt zu bringen. Sondern auch durchgezogen wurden.

Ich glaube einigen ist nicht bewusst dass mancher Orts (bei mir in der Region z.B.) Eltern Revolte gesprungen sind weil Kika das machte. Ich will mir nicht vorstellen wie viel widerstand es bei nolin zu bewältigen gab.

Auch möchte ich an dieser Stelle einmal die Darsteller loben die sich dazu bereit erklärten im öffentlichen Raum einen gleichgeschlechtlichen Kuss darzustellen/spielen.

Hätte ich das in dem Alter gemacht wäre ich wahrscheinlich meines Lebens nicht mehr froh geworden.

Mini-review:

Oof, what a disappointment. I feel like this wanted to be one of those transgressive teen shows we get in the West, but then it didn't have the guts to go all the way and ended up being like any other kdrama about the rich and the poor. And even then, it's just not good at that either. The writing leaves a lot to be desired, and it gets more boring with every episode. The acting is also all over the place; some of the actors do a solid job, but most of them are mediocre or downright terrible. Tbh, there are two things that save this drama from disaster: firstly, the director adds a lot of style and flair to the proceedings; secondly, sometimes it's fun to see a bunch of super pretty people all together in one place. But still, there are a lot of shows where you can find those things with much better quality. I wouldn't recommend Hierarchy, unless you really love someone in the cast...

My dad’s reaction toward “Crash Landing on You”

Before watching it: “This looks interesting, but you know how I feel about romantic drama shows. I watch it just because it’s super popular.”

When he started watching it: “This is perhaps one of the best Eastern Asian shows I’ve ever watched.”

Throughout the whole show: “Gu Seung-jun is the best character. He’s so perfectly written in every way, and that Kim Jung-hyun did well portraying him.”

At the end of the show: “That ending is garbage and I won’t ever forgive them for killing Gu Seung-jun.”

After was done watching it: “I want– no, I need you to write me a fix-it fic, Elle.”
