Dean has always had a plan. Study hard, find a job, fall in love, and live life to the fullest. The first two worked out well for him, but falling in love has been a pain in the ass. His roommate’s obnoxious prattling about his online boyfriend is not helping Dean feel any better. Then, on Valentine’s Day, a handsome blue eyed stranger knocks on his door and throws himsef into Dean’s arms, hugging him like a long lost lover. Dean has no fucking clue who this man is but he’ll take the hug no questions asked. When the man calls him “Aaron” though, he instantly knows something is very, very wrong.

A knock on the door distracted Dean from his Valentine’s date with Godzilla.

“Shit.” He looked around for the remote, pushing quilts around and searching under cushions. “One second!” He said loudly when he heard the person knock again. Finally finding the remote and pausing the movie Dean looked down on the clothes and shrugged. Whoever was on his doorstep would have to get over the fact that he was wearing hotdog pajama pants and a Stormlight Archives hoodie in the middle of the afternoon.

Dean opened his apartment door to see the most gorgeous man standing awkwardly in front of him. He was wearing a beige trench coat over a navy blue suit, white button up shirt and a bright blue tie that was tied backwards. Dean could not help but stare at this beautiful man.

“Hello.” The blue eyed man said with a huge smile on his face.

“Uh. Hi?” Dean answered. Did he know this man from somewhere? He would’ve remembered him for sure.

Dean’s confusion didn’t seem to matter to the man because he simply walked over to him and hugged him. Strong arms surrounded him, the smell of old books and soap all around him making it impossible for Dean to stop himself from wrapping his arms around the stranger. After a few quiet moments the man released him and stepped back.

“I cannot believe you are here.” He said with a soft voice. “I thought you said you had work today? I hoped your roommate would let me in and I would surprise you when you got back.”

Dean scratched the back of his neck in confusion. Who the hell was this man? Surprise him? He seemed to think they had met before, but Dean had no recollection of the fact. “Umm, I’m sorry but, who are you?” He finally asked. “What do you mean, Aaron?” The man said, the smile on his face seemed to slowly morph into a grimace of confusion.

"Aaron? Na, man. Aaron’s my roommate.”

Why I don’t like my school nurse

Okay so as most of you know I am disabled. One of my many problems is that I suffer from scoliosis. So during the colder times, my back hurts.

For it to stop hurting, I need to lay for a few minutes. (The pain goes away faster with a heating pad.) So one day I went in to the nurse’s office to use the heating pad.

I don’t know if she thought I was sleeping or what, but she decided it was the best time to call someone. I know you might be thinking, “Okay, she’s calling someone. What’s wrong with that?” I don’t have a problem with her being in her phone.

My problem was that she talked shit about me. She said “Yeah, she’s in here again. Oh yeah! For sure! She is definitely faking it. Your back doesn’t hurt when you have scoliosis. She uses that excuse to skip class. I know for sure she is failing. I wouldn’t even be surprised if she didn’t graduate next year. (Which is this year. That’s right I’m senior. Whoop whoop here comes the worst school year of my life.) Oh I definitely called her doctor, to warn him about her excuses.”

Honestly it hurt a lot that she thought I wouldn’t graduate. When everything else in my life was falling apart, I at least knew I had people believing I could graduate.

(Shit I’m crying while writing this, but I need to let it out.) I could probably (and will never be able to) not be able to walk, but a diploma would for sure be in my hands!

That day I cried (and like I said I’m crying while writing this) like a hopeless girl whose dreams were stomped on right in front of her eyes.

In life I only had three dreams. One of them was to be able to walk in a beach. To feel the sand in my toes. The rush of the water reaching to my feet.

The other one was if I ever found my special someone, I could walk down the aisle to them. To not be required to be pushed on my wheelchair to them.

The third one was for me to get my diploma. Two of three won’t be accomplished. However one of them, I can accomplish. I don’t care what she believes about me. But I’ll prove her wrong.

Another reason why I don’t like her, is because my family doctor doesn’t believe me anymore. Last school year, I was going through some horrible elbow pain. My doctor didn’t believe me, because the nurse had told him I was using the “nonexistent” pain as to not go to school.

Well it turned out I had tennis elbow. I suffered three months of pain, when all I needed was a fucking cortisone shot. Bada bing bada bang the pain left. I could’ve been cured from the pain quicker, if my doctor had actually listened to me instead of a school nurse.

I’m sure she has years of experience in her field, but I know my body better than anyone else. So you should probably believe me, instead of a nurse who sucks at her job.

I mean what type of nurse makes her student go back to class after throwing up four times? Yes, you guessed it! I was that student.

She also said kidney stones aren’t supposed to hurt. I’m sorry, what? You literally have fucking rocks in one of your organs.

But right I’m only kid (well I was when I had them) what do I know. It’s not like I have them in my kidney... wait... I do have it in my kidney!

She would also make appointments with my doctors, without asking my mom if she could take me. My mom has to work.

Yes, my health is important, but so is having money to feed me, dress me, hell even take me to the doctors.

She even conspired with another person who works at the school to call cps on my mom. When they knew damn well my mom had recently had a surgery.

I had told them my mom was making an appointment for me to see a doctor about my kidney stones, and my dad was going to take me. Well the next day the cps lady is asking me if my mom abuses me.

If my mother “abused” me, I would’ve died the age my doctors had diagnosed my life expectancy. (Age 5. I’m 18) Well we won the case... again. Oh yes, it isn’t the first time cps was called on my mother.

She is also so mean to the young kids. I have seen her roll her eyes at kids. Now I’m not saying I have never rolled my eyes at kids sometimes, but I have never to a child who asked me if I could turn on the lights for her, because she couldn’t reach the light switch in the restroom.

And she is so fake. Around adults she appears to be a sweet elderly woman, but the moment they leave it’s like she embodies the evilest person she can be.

Last school year it got to the point where I would rather feel chest pain, (from my high blood pressure) than see her to take my medicine.

And I know most of you are thinking I should’ve told someone, but who am I going to tell when the whole school board has it against me.

My mom can’t do anything about it, because we are poor. We can’t afford for someone to help us defeat the injustice and the bullying we suffer at school.

I’m really sorry for this long post. I’m sure it probably got boring to read, but I needed to let it out. I’m going back on Monday, and I need to let all the pain she inflicted on me out.

So I had an incident while binding

A couple months ago I started binding at school and on day a forgot I had to go to band practice. Now I should let you know that 1.) I usually bind with a very tight/broken camisole tank top thing 2.) I play the flute and if you know anything about that you know my arm is up in the air for at least 3 minutes per song and we did about 4 songs that day. (3. I couldn’t go and re adjust because then I’d have to take off my sweater and shirt and I would be more late than usual.

After a while in some different classes I noticed my arm started hurting more and more as time went on. By the time I got home I couldn’t ever open the refrigerator with that hand because it hurt so bad. I didn’t tell my mom because she wouldn’t buy me a binder if she knew I accidentally hurt myself in the action of binding, so I sucked it up and pretended that the very action of holding my phone in that hand didn’t hurt. Anyway I left it alone for a day or two only complaining to my two friends whom I am completely out to and I was thinking about going to the nurse because usually when I hurt myself pain will go away in a bee days.

They said if I wanted to go to the nurse I should but I shouldn’t tell her what really happened. They said she wouldn’t understand and that she’d send me to the school counselor, which was terrifying. But I didn’t want to lie i hate lying to people, well most people, so when I went to the nurse I told her everything that happened in excruciating detail and the look on her face drained all hope of her helping me. She asked if I was trans, I said no because I’m not. I’m not a guy and I’m certainly not anywhere near female so I told her that and she just stared at me like I was just some crazy little girl who told her pirates bit her finger.

After that she told me that binding for “fashion purposes” wasn’t good and I should stop. She went in to say that binding was strictly for medical purposes only and I needed to stop right then and there. She made sure I could hold my hands above my head and told me I probably pinched a nerve, that I needed to put hot water in it and something like that. Before I left she gave me some neosporn like stuff to fix my chapped lips, like I’m going to use that. Sorry for complaining I just wanted to talk. I’m on the prowl to find more ghost stories to share so that should be fun.
