you guys will never know how much sorrow i feel from the farewell my mask event. i swear i am THE farewell my mask lover like i fw it since the first translation being saying goodbye to my persona/masked self and jp release. each time i re-read the event or listen to engeki i still realize how much mafuyu has improved since the start of the game 🙏

today, i will be showing you mafuyu in her cutout of her " saying goodbye to my persona " trained card ! ( try to guess my favorite event ) in this event , we see mafuyu extremely stressed after getting her computer getting away . which isn't a really good thing given how stressed she was beforehand . we also see mafuyu being a bit persistent in making music with niigo and the others , saying it means a lot to her . yet mafuyu's mother doesn't fully understand because she is more interested in her dream, not mafuyu's . mafuyu's mother wants mafuyu to get into a medical school , but she considers that mafuyu's dream, which it is not . she is just replacing what she wanted for herself . in which she questions mafuyu if she'll have the energy to have good grades, which she already told her before hand , but she doesn't not want mafuyu to do music with niigo . which leads mafuyu into saying saying she doesn't think she wants to be a doctor . which her mother responds terribly , saying things like " how did things end up like this " and blaming kanade for her being like this , which mafuyu denies it . this leads mafuyu's mother to start tearing up while saying " this wouldn't have happened if i supported you properly.. " which makes mafuyu feel TERRIBLE . this was a time where kaito and miku stepped in, saying " follow what you feel " which mafuyu tells her mother how much pain she has felt and she do not want to stop making music with the others and being with them .. but mafuyu's mom still does not understand . she wants mafuyu to listen to her , but she doesn't, and that makes her even more mad . she is saying to mafuyu that " you don't understand what i am saying " , meaning, she does not want her doing music and being with niigo while doing her best to study for her . this leads mafuyu im remembering the support niigo has given her , the warmth she feels when she is with them . this also makes her remember mizuki's words in " its okay to run away for a while " . she kept hearing things she did not want, mafuyu's mother was not listening to her at all , which caused her to run out the door . during this, kanade was worried about mafuyu , but this is when kaito popped on kanade's screen and told her to go to mafuyu, and said how much she needed kanade . which kanade immediately runs out the door and looks for mafuyu . she then finds her crying and telling her all she did . kanade reassures her everything will be okay .

⋆ that was A LOT . i am so sorry, but i really do love this event so much , so i wanted to summarize it

today, i will be showing you mafuyu in her " loss way home " costume ! there are three variants to her costume, one is a dark grey, one is a lighter grey, and the last one is a blue grey color !! this costume is usually my go to option to draw in my free time, it is fun !!
