i keep forgetting to take photos of this sweater, but here she is!

i started on december 19th and finished it on january 26th :-) the yarn is rauma fivel in the color 401. after a soak with wool wash it’s super soft (at least in my opinion) and probably my dearest possession. the color shifts beautifully between a rusty red and a merlot-burgundy depending on the lighting.

A Message for 12th Housers, Heavy Saturn + Uranus, & Capricorn/Aqua Energy, amongst others who resonate.✨👇🏼

✨Do NOT mistake Recognizing Your "Window of Tolerance"(Boundaries) with "Avoiding"(running away). The Energy is Different. So if you Recognize it, take a Pause 🤚🏼. This prevents you from hitting your Peaks(which are a high all on their own, since it's inevitable that you come back down. These are called "Peaks and Valleys").

✨These "Peaks" are your Trauma/Wounds coming through. Pausing + Taking a breather gives you time to respect your limitations so you have the space to Recondition and in due time respond differently, from the ❤️Heart centre— a healthier mode when presented with similar situations.

✨When you have the Ability to 🤚🏼 you are Aware* of your Wounds and it gives you Space to Move Through them. After you have Processed Fully and have taken the time you needed*, you can then decide if you want to confront whatever it was prior, you are no longer in Survival Mode and have a sound Mind/Physical/Emotional Energetic State to do so.

✨If your Boundaries are being "Pushed", let's say from another, it's YOUR responsibility to decide that you no longer want that Energy around you. Remember that when "others" are pushing yours, they are pushing their own— Remove yourself so you are no longer* on that frequency.

🤚🏼✨Pausing: Involves Focusing on the *Internal*—Self-Care, Nurturing Yourself.

🏃🏼‍♀️🔥 Avoiding: Involves Focusing on the *External*— Anybody or Anything other than Yourself.

body/head: 1: 6 sc in mr [6] 2: inc x6 [12] 3: (sc, inc) x6 [18] 4: (sc, inc, sc) x6 [24] 5: (sc x3, inc) x6 [30] 6: (sc x2, inc, sc x2) x6 [36] 7: (sc x5, inc) x6 [42] 8: (sc x3, inc, sc x3) x6 [48] 9: (sc x7, inc) x6 [54] 10: (sc x4, inc, sc x4) x6 [60] 11-20: sc x60 [60] 21-29: decrease by 6 st each round by using the same methods as rounds 10 to 2 but replacing each "inc" with a "dec", eg round 21 is (sc x4, dec, sc x4) x6 [54] ... round 29 is dec x6 [6]. stuff as you approach last few rounds. cut & fasten off, tighten/sew shut w/ tail.

nose: 1-5: copy rounds 1-5 from body 6-7: sc x30 [30] cut w/tail for sewing & fasten off. do NOT tighten/sew shut. sew to body, stuffing just before you make the last few stitches.

feet (make 2): 1: ch 5, sc x3 starting at 2nd ch from hook, 3sc in next st (turning as you go), sc x2, inc in last st, slst to close the round. whiskers (make 4): 1: ch 5. starting at 2nd ch from hook, slst x4. cut w/tail & fasten off, sew 2 whiskers to each side of the face.

eyes (make 2): 1: 8 sc in mr [8] cut w/tail & fasten off, sew to body.

eyebrows (make 2): ch 5, that's it. cut w/tail & fasten off, sew one above each eye.

antenna: 1: 4 sc in mr [4] 2-13 (or desired height): sc x4 [4] cut w/tail & fasten off, sew to body.

bow: foundation: ch 24, slst to 1st chain to close into a loop. ch1 & make 1st stitch of next round (slst) in same stitch. 1: (slst, sc, hdc, dc x6, hdc, sc, slst) x2 [24] 2: slst x24 [24] 3-4: repeat round 1-2 on other side of foundation chain cut w/ tail & fasten off. fold the loop flat such that the narrowest point (the slip stitches) are in the middle, making a rough bow shape. put the antenna through the loop, centered on that narrow part. wrap the tail tightly around the bow & antenna, & sew to secure/touch up the shape.
