also re: my last post I think that’s also why I don’t love commentary (or the 2009 adaptation of Emma lol) that focuses on Emma’s loneliness in an overly sentimental way. Yes she IS lonely and Miss Taylor leaving represents a change and Emma is sad about it but she almost doesn’t feel it. Not because she’s repressing it in a conscious way but more like a kid does. because some part of her innate ability to be cold and her ability to keep herself busy with her little schemes has not been broken open yet. She almost doesn’t really feel how sad she is until later, if that makes sense.

It’s cold out, not quite snowing but forecasted, but I’m snuggled with Aspen to keep warm. Basement apartments are colder, and I’m still trying to get well. I think I lived in Texas too long, can’t handle being up north now. 😅

life update: ive buried myself in my irl work

and whenever someone messages me (for good reason) about a fandom thing i get so irritated because i just dont have the time or headspace at the moment and the mild irritation passes im left with feeling bad that i neglected fandom stuff for too long 😞 but at the same time can you just stop :D
