I think one of the most fun ways to take advantage of Ata's money would be getting cuddle time with opossums from sanctuaries lol. It'd be fun to force Ata to cuddle skunks, vultures, raccoons, and opossums with me^^

also, fun fact of the day: vultures don't have feathers on their head to avoid getting rotting meat stuck to their head, they also differ from other birds of prey because they have a really good sense of smell!

Noelle doesn't like animals. She grew up in a trailer park, and all the animals she was exposed to as a child were mean and filthy. She's been bitten, scratched, and pecked tons of times, and these days, she will not hesitate to defend herself if anything, even a housepet runs at her. The only animal she tolerates is her cat, Sasha, but that is because she doesn't really see Sasha as a cat, but more as an extension of her.

Asteria is actually more tolerant of animals than her daughter. She still thinks they are dirty, but she will give a passing dog or cat a pet or two. There might be a series of cats roaming outside the Montclair manor that she mandates the staff care for. They can't come into the house, but they can get food, water, and shelter in the shed.

Jamie loves animals. He finds petting them soothing, it helps him relax. When he's having an okay day, he and Carter take their walk in the garden and the cats always run up to him and fawn over him, and he could sit and pet them and talk to them for hours. When they get old, he brings them to his volunteer job at the library to spend their final days being spoiled and petted by old ladies and small children.

Expectation: when Anne has to deal with her wives when they're drunk as a skunk in a trunk, Marcy is the sweet and cuddly drunk and Sasha in the angry drunk.

Reality: when Anne has to yadda yadda yadda skunk in a trunk, Sasha is the one cuddling her and saying how soft her hair is while Marcy is the one threatening to slash anyone who looks at her funny with a battle axe.

Anne learned this during high school when a drunk Sasha found her and was all cuddly (Sasha even when drunk never confessed, this however did cause a breakup between Sasha and her partner at the time). With Marcy, that wasn’t found out till later when they reunited and found out that Marcy has been hiding angry gremlin energy

Klarg looks pissed as his wolf charges at the now downed Jesse. But thankfully Jesse is ready kicks the wolf and runs his spear right through the Wolf's head. (Music for this boss fight 03 - Cragmaw Boss Fight (Cragmaw Goblin Boss Battle Music) - Lost Mine of Phandelver Soundtrack - YouTube ) Sasha extends her palm and casts Sacred Flame on the 2 goblins rushing at Mimi using up the last of her 1st level spell slots. Klarg looks even more pissed and rushes at Sasha as Mimi finishes the last goblin off. Klarg: KLARG IS THE BOSS." He then charges forward swinging his Morningstar and grazing Sasha.

Meanwhile Gerald is negotiating with the Goblins for Sildar. Gerald: Can we come to an agreement on something? What's your name?" Yeenk: The name's Yeenk and don't you go forgetting it. And as for negotiations I always hated Bugbear boss Klarg. Kill him and bring me his head and I'll give you skunk man." Sildar weakly calls out and says "Don't..........trust...................him" Gerald: Just hold on Sildar." Sildar: Please don't" It's already too late Zoey and Gerald are heading on over to area 8.

Back at area 8 Jesse is attacking Klarg from range. Klarg is now yet again even more pissed off and shouts. "KLARG HATES YOU" and leaps right through the air and bashes Jesse's head in. Jesse falls right to the ground now in death saving throws. Mimi rushes over for Sneak Attack but unfortunately she missed as her dagger rebounds off of his armor. Klarg looks at her with fury in his eyes just as Gerald and Zoey arrive. Klarg smacks Mimi right in the head again tearing open her Rattata hood and sending her into death saves.

Gerald immediately rushes over to Klarg as he swings his Morningstar but Gerald brings his shield up to block it just in time and as Klarg is baffled by what happened Gerald runs his sword right through Klarg's head.

Sasha immediately rushes over to Jesse realizing she's out of spell slots she shouts "PLEASE HELP THEM." Gerald: Sasha calm down ok?" He goes over to Jesse and uses Lay on Hands and does the same for Mimi before everyone agrees to take a short rest before going over to area 6 with Mimi carrying Klarg's head and blowing a raspberry at it.

As soon as they arrive Sildar is in an even worse state than when Gerald and Zoey left but he also looks absolutely horrified. Yeenk looks at the head with joy and shouts "I AM OFFICIALY THE NEW KING OF THE CRAGMAWS" he cackles for a bit grabs Sildar and holds him just on the edge of the ledge. "Now all 5 of you are going to give me 50 gold pieces or I drop this one from the ledge." Gerald's face is contorted in rage.

Mimi throws a dagger aiming for Yeenks head this infuriates him as he tosses Sildar off the ledge. Gerald rushes towards him but the Goblins take aim and fire at him as the 2 Goblin Bosses on the ledge leap down at him. Jesse is ready to defend Gerald as he rushes over to take some hits for Gerald. Zoey meanwhile opens up her cloak and puts her hands together thumbs touching fingers spread and casts Burning Hands as a 15 foot sheet of flame erupts from her fingers at the Goblins. One of them survives but is crying out in agony 2 of the other Goblins fall to the floor and writhe in pain for a few seconds before going limp as well as setting the straw beds alight. Sasha sticks by Mimi and casts Bless on her, the pink diamond holy symbol around her neck glowing as she casts it. While she's at it she also casts it on Zoey and Gerald.

Gerald goes up to Sildar uses Lay on Hands on him giving him enough Hp to barely be conscious. He then pulls out his sword ready to face Yeenk. Yeenk swings and takes a slice at Geralds cheek. Gerald slashes at him back slashing deep into Yeenk's arm. Yeenk shouts in fury. Meanwhile Sasha casts Word of Radiance on a Goblin who managed to dodge Burning Hands. Mimi meanwhile sneaks up on the Goblin Boss that Jesse is fighting and pushes him into Jesse's axe blade killing him. (I'll leave it up to you whether Mimi or Jesse got the kill.) Gerald finally runs his blade through Yeenk's neck slicing it open before rushing over and kiling the final Goblin.

Zoey runs over to see if Sildar is ok luckily he is breathing. Gerald: You guys go on ahead I need to go over and check something I'll only be a minute." He heads over to Klarg's cave and notices something on the crates.

Halfway through to the Carriage Sildar begins to stir around Jesse's shoulder. Sildar: Oh h-hey who are you all?" Sasha: We're the ones that saved you honey" Gerald returns to the group. Gerald: Alright I'm heading over to Lionshield Coster as soon as we reach Phandalin turns out the Goblins in that cave were holding supplies that belong to them." Sildar: Hey uh I saw you agreeing to that nasty Goblins plan even though I was telling you not to I know you did it for me so.......thank you" Gerald: No thanks necessary Sildar in the end all of us are safe and that is all that matters to me"

Sildar: Expect 50 gold for all of you when we get back although I have no money on me now but I'll secure a loan when we arrive and you should have your pay by the end of your second day there." Gerald: None for me I'm just helping people as is natural if anything give my cut to Mimi she needs it more than me" Sildar nods and says "very well" Mimi: You seem very anxious there Skunk man" Sildar: Er yes I am I just want to get Phandalin as soon as possible".

As soon as they are back at the carriage Sildar begins to talk to them. Gerald: Wait just one sec me and Jesse are going to ride alongside you guys on the horses and listen" Sildar begins:

I am a member of the Lords Alliance." He points to the symbol of the Lords Alliance on his shirt (You can barely see it on his shirt in the previous part it looks like this)

I met your friend Gundren in Neverwinter and agreed to accompany him to Phandalin. I want to investigate the dissaperance of Iarno Albrek a Weavile Hybrid Wizard and fellow member of the Lords Alliance. My main goals are to learn what happened to Iarno, assist Gundren in reopening the old mine and restore Phandalin to a center of wealth and prosperity. So I know all of you have a ton of questions so go ahead and ask.

Zoey: So tell me about Iarno I'm interested in knowing about a fellow Wizard." Sildar: Ah yes Iarno was my contact in Phandalin. He traveled to the town several months ago to try to establish order there. After the Lords Alliance didn't hear from him I took it upon myself to investigate."

Jesse: Wave Echo Cave sounds pretty rad. Sildar: While I don't quite know what that means I will begin by saying The 3 Rockseeker brothers Gundren Nundro and Tharden recently located an entrance to the long lost cave." Sildar holds back on revealing the Forge of Spells. Jesse: Anything special about it?" Sildar: Not really it's just a mine"

Gerald: So you were taken?" Sildar: Sadly yes that Bugbear Klarg was sent to waylay Gundren. I heard from the Goblins that somebody or somthing called "the Spider" sent word that Gundren was to be brought to him. I unfortunately don't know who or what the Spider is. Although Gundren had a map showing the location of Wave Echo Cave the Goblins took it when they captured him. I believe Klarg sent the map and Gundren to the leader of the Cragmaws at a place called Cragmaw Castle. I unfortunately don't know where that might be but somebody in Phandalin might know." Sildar then remembers something Sildar: Oh right a strange Goblin with an elongated head was with the Cragmaws that waylaid me. The Goblin gave me a bad feeling but the Cragmaws didn't seem to know it. The Goblin whispered something to me saying 'you're not what Ruxithid wants'. before leaving the group.

Zoey: Alright everyone Phandalin is just ahead
