Sangheili Saturday — Raas 'Yajadai

Formerly a warrior within the Covenant military, Raas 'Yajadai served on the High Council by 2552. He was among the group of High Councilors decimated and imprisoned by Thrallslayer at the start of the Great Schism.

Sangheili Saturday — Thel 'Vadam

Formerly the Supreme Commander of the Fleet of Particular Justice, Thel 'Vadam was made Arbiter when he failed to stop the destruction of Alpha Halo. After this, he would uncover the truth about Halo and the Forerunners.

Thel 'Vadam allied with humanity to prevent the activation of the Halo Array and afterward revived the Swords of Sanghelios to try to unite his people. In 2559, the Arbiter continues his quest for unfication, even while under the yoke of the Created.

Sangheili Saturday — Henry

Simply known as "Henry," this Sangheili was a prisoner of war held aboard the prison ship Mona Lisa to be studied by ONI. When they began to test Flood specimens on the prisoners, ONI personnel quickly lost control of the ship.

Henry saved a human prisoner from an infected guard and they hid until Marines from the UNSC Red Horse found them. With the prison ship's destruction imminent, Henry and Sgt. Lopez fought over the last remaining escape pod. It is unknown if he survived.

The Tyrant of Qirvo, Irsu 'Labat was an Arbiter and violent dictator who long ago ruled the continent of Qirvo on Sanghelios. His rule was overthrown by the nascent Swords of Sanghelios, a brotherhood of devoted kaidons.

Sangheili Saturday — The Shipmaster

This shipmaster commanded the Covenant Navy's Fleet of Righteous Vigilance during their war with humanity. He participated in the Fall of Reach, but was most notably responsible for the destruction of Kholo in 2539.

Seven years after the Great Schism and the discovery that his people had been pawns of the San'Shyuum, the shipmaster returned to Kholo in an attempt to atone for his sins. While there, he saved a human from a group of Kig-yar, planning to question him.

Sangheili Saturday — Vema 'Togad

Arbiter Vema 'Togad met with the San'Shyuum delegation after they made first contact with the Sangheili on Ulgethon. Discovering that they intended to disturb the planet's Forerunner artifacts, the Arbiter beheaded them.

This ignited the War of Beginnings, a conflict that raged for nearly a century. Ultimately a peace was brokered between the two species and the Covenant was formed. Vema 'Togad's ferocity in battle inspired the San'Shyuum to preserve the title of Arbiter.

Sangheili Saturday — Arkad Nar 'Kulul

Fleetmaster Arkad Nar 'Kulul of the Fleet of Recalcitrant Ire was known for his tactical genius and lack of piety during his time in the Covenant. After the war, 'Kulul allied his fleet with the Swords of Sanghelios.

Sangheillli Saturday - Zuka 'Zamamee

Serving in Covenant Special Operations, Zuka 'Zamamee swore revenge on Master Chief after a near-fatal encounter with him during the boarding actions on UNSC Pillar of Autumn.

Throughout the battle of Alpha Halo, Zuka tried multiple times to assassinate the Chief and led the assault on Alpha Base, before ultimately meeting his end moments prior to Halo's destruction.

Sangheili Saturday — Haka 'Suukaree

The personal enforcer of the High Prophet of Solemnity, Haka 'Suukaree was ordered to kill Arbiter Fal 'Chavamee after he blasphemed their religion and challenged his people's place within the Covenant.

By killing his wife, Haka challenged Fal to a duel, planning to rule over the Arbiter's clan once he lay dead. However, the brief duel would end in the deaths of both Sangheili, and the role of Arbiter would be shamed for hundreds of years to come.

Sangheili Saturday — Sali 'Nyon

As a Zealot within Jul 'Mdama's military, Sali 'Nyon began to question the supreme commander after he allied with Dr. Catherine Halsey. Believing himself to be the true Hand of the Didact, 'Nyon rebelled against 'Mdama.

Sali 'Nyon's rebellion was quelled and the zealot himself was captured. Assisted by Ayit 'Sevi, he escaped imprisonment and rallied more Sangheili to his cause. Reports indicate large numbers gathering under his banner at the fortress world of Okal'supen.

Starship Saturday — Mona Lisa

A converted freighter, the Mona Lisa was a prison ship taken over by ONI Section III to perform experiments on Flood specimens found among the debris of Alpha Halo, using both human and Sangheili prisoners as test subjects.

In October 2552, the prowler UNSC Red Horse was sent to investigate the Mona Lisa after contact was lost. Deploying Marines to the prison ship, much of the squad was lost to the Flood, and the prowler destroyed the Mona Lisa with a nuclear missile.

Story Saturday — Another Day at the Beach

After their Pelican was shot down in Old Mombasa, Marcus Stacker's unit was ambushed by a Sangheili, who took their sharpshooter hostage. Using a plasma pistol and a battle rifle, the ODSTs killed their foe, saving an ODST's life.

Story Saturday — An Exchange of Hats

On November 2, 2552, following the death of the Prophet of Regret, the Prophet of Truth replaced Sangheili Honor Guards with Jiralhanae—setting in motion his plan to remove the Sangheili from the Covenant leadership.

Seeing this as a violation of the Covenant founding charter, the Sangheili threatened to resign from the High Council. The next day, numerous Sangheili councilors and honor guards were taken to Installation 05, where they were executed by Jiralhanae. The Great Schism had begun.
