Manufactured by Ushuaia Armory, the M35 Cougar served during the Insurrection, playing a key role in occupied urban environments. The six-wheeled fire support vehicle features a turret with twin M68 gauss cannons and an M43 heavy machine gun.

Did You Know a familiar location lies buried in the game Steamworld on Xbox? Blood Gulch is hidden in the Old World area of the game, with a Warthog that, if flipped three times, will reveal an orb that can be used to buy in-game items.

Among the Spartan-II candidates whose bodies rejected augmentation, Musa-096 joined ONI despite his moral reservations and personal grudges. Rising to the rank of rear admiral, Musa now serves as Commander-in-Chief of Spartan Operations.

The "xeno orders" are a UNSC document outlining procedures and regulations pertaining to the discovery of alien artifacts. The destruction of The Knowing on Ariel and Cortana's possession of Alpha Halo's Activation Index violated these orders.

Halo Trivia - Deluge

Did You Know that during an internal game jam at 343 Industries, concept art for a Flood-themed game or mode codenamed "Deluge" was created? Due to the nature of these game jams as prototyping inspiration, Deluge was likely never intended to enter full development.

Celestial Saturday — Algolis

Established in 2475, Algolis formerly hosted a small population of human colonists as well as ONI research facilities. In early 2549, the planet was attacked by the Covenant, an invasion which ultimately led to Atriox's formation of the Banished.

Trivia Tuesday —Hellcats Origin

Did You Know that the Hellcat armor was designed by concept artist Kory Lynn Hubbel in conjunction with a fan as part of a charity contest? This fan, Andrew Thivyanathan, was also featured as character in-game who can be found working as a de-glasser on Meridian.

Andrew wanted Hellcat to be based on the armor worn by Ancestor warriors in Halo 4's terminals. This remains the in-universe explanation for the armor as well, with Hellcat being developed using ancient human technology collected by ONI.

Map Monday — Zanzibar

Built on Zanzibar Island, Wind Power Station 7 was one of many stations built in the 2400s under the East African Protectorate's renationalization efforts. In the 26th century, it was decommissioned to host classified military training exercises.

Primarily used for fleet escort and planetary defence, the Charon played an important role defending Earth during the final days of the Covenant War. Though lightly armed compared to its peers, it was also well-suited for deploying troops to a planet.

Among the most powerful vessels of the UNSC Navy, the Valiant-class super-heavy cruiser found success in the Insurrection and Covenant War in fleet command roles. The most famous vessel of the class was the UNSC Everest, flagship of Vice Admiral Cole.
