about that most iconic fighting game protag. it’s so weird every time i see how popular gg is and then like. no one cares. you never see gg merch at cons and like. gg doesn’t get in smash at all it’s like. damn
Guilty Gear's in this weird spot where it was decently "big" over in Japan since day 1 but was this strange, quirky, underground thing here in the west until Strive where suddenly it's the headliner game at major tournaments like EVO. I think the Sammy-Sega merger putting the entire franchise into IP hell for most of the 2010s didn't help too... Maybe if that had never happened we would have gotten a GG character into Smash...
Strive really has kicked the frontdoor down here in the west though. I bet the amount of GG merch at cons and stuff is going to go way up between now and the next game in the series haha
also I don't think most other fighting games have a community on here the same way GG does? and following my blog is like being exposed to the elephant's foot of GG content rofl so there may be some kind of data bias there hahahah

hiii! i just wanna tell you about a dream i had like two nights ago 😭
i dreamed i was in a relationship w/ jeonghan and i was jealous af of jeonghan's and cheol's friendship (or maybe more like relationship because cheol was Flirting with him) and cheol was jealous of my relationship with jeonghan,, me and cheol were kinda like enemies in a way but cheol was TEASING me about the whole situation like,,, i still remember his smirk (he had blonde hair just like rn and a white shirt 🫠) and jeonghan was Loving it too
anyway it reminded of inflection point i Had to tell you 😭

Summary: The team tries thier hardest to find you, while Aaron thinks back to the way things use to be between you and him.

The day goes by fast for the Bau, the day doesn’t have enough hours before the sun is setting again. They checked out a place today hoping you would be there but instead they found nothing, not even a sign that anyone used to be there. Garcia also isn’t getting anywhere tracking their Ip address, and they haven’t gone live since this morning. Currently the team is sitting around the table eating or more like picking at their dinner as they throw out more ideas. 
“We got his face on camera, Garcia has it circulating through all facial recognitional searches” Morgan adds, sighs as he stabs his noodles. 
“She won’t find anything, he’s been doing this for years there will be no recognition of him for the past twenty years” Rossi huffs quietly staring at the photo of the unsub on the board. 
“Maybe not, but she can put him through her system and make him appear younger then maybe she will get a hit” JJ suggests staring at the wall, her body feeling numb.
“Good idea, when she lands get her straight onto that” Hotch instructs looking over at Morgan.
“Will do” Morgan nods at him.
“When does she land?” Emily asks, glancing over at Morgan who automatically checks his watch.
“In twenty minutes, I should get going. I promise her I’ll be waiting by the gate when she lands” He smiles weakly standing up. No one argues, everyone knows those two come in a package. 
“Hey can I come for a ride, I could use the fresh air” JJ looks up at him, feeling exhausted.
“Sure blondie lets go” Morgan smiles a little as they walk out.

The night goes by with Reid, Rossi and Hotch narrowing down their comfort zone, while Garica and Morgan go through making the unsub appear younger and running him through everything. JJ and Emily, run through their notes of the interview of some of the victims families they talked to today, coming to some conclusions that they wish they never had to. Once it gets too late and the room is filled with nothing but yawns, Hotch finally sends them home, his heart racing at the thought you have been gone for 36 hours. Everyone leaves silently hating the idea of going back to the hotel while you're missing. Once Aaron is alone in his hotel room he sits at the small desk in the corner of the room, pulling out his notebook and a file as he gets back to work, doing his best to distract his mind from the hopelessness look in your eye. You don’t think they are coming for you, no, you don’t think he is coming for you. He is, and he won’t rest until he has you back where you belong. His mind runs back to the night, the night he regrets letting you go. The night he confessed to you, that he enjoyed having you in his life more than a boss should. That he doesn’t normally allow an agent to get this close to him or his kid, and he definitely doesn’t allow his agents to cuddle up to him on his couch watching movies, or kiss him that one night. He also doesn’t allow an agent to push him on cases like you do, he doesn’t allow an agent to bring a case to him like this and get away with using his FBI statutes to get information he’s not entitled to. He doesn’t allow it, so how the hell did he allow himself to let you worm yourself into his heart, and why the hell did he let you leave that night. Aaron doesn’t realise there are tears sliding down his face, hitting his notes until there's a sharp knock on the door. Quickly he pulls himself together, wiping his face as he takes a deep breath steadying his heartbeat as he looks through the peephole. Of course it's Dave he groans to himself, wondering if he could just go to bed and pretend he’s asleep to make him go away.
“Open up Aaron I know you're there” Dave smirks, staring at the door with a knowing look. Ever so slowly Aaron opens the door, his face hard, showing no emotion.
“What's up Dave?” Aaron sighs lightly, acting tired blocking the doorway.
“Don’t what's up me” Dave rolls his eyes as he pushes past him, walking straight in.
“Oh sure come on in” Aaron says sarcastically as he closes the door, he somehow allows his guard down around Dave. Dave moves to the middle of the room then turns around, staring at Aaron, his body stiffens under Dave gaze, crosses his arms in defence. 
“What do you want Dave?” 
“You want to tell me what's going on with you?” Dave stares at him, his eyes staring a hole into his soul. 
“What do you mean, my agent is missing? I'm sorry if I’m a little on edge” Aaron snaps at him, the tears threatening to come back.
“Today you keep referring to him as your agent, you keep refusing to say his name” Dave sighs, noticing the tension threatening to break on Aaron's face.
“Dave” His name is barely above a whisper, it's a warning. “Get out”
“Not until you open up and tell me what's happened between you two” Dave pushes, taking a step forward as he spots a tear escaping down Aaron cheek as he looks away.
“Aaron its me, talk to me”
“I can’t lose him Dave, not after Haley” His voice breaks as he speaks, sitting down on the bed.

“I invited him to a soccer game of Jack one day” Aaron breaks the silence, his eyes focused on the wall opposite him. Dave is sitting at the desk, watching him quietly, he wishes he could hear this under better circumstances.
“I didn’t think he would come, you know how closed off he is. He had a rough case and I wanted to make sure he was okay during the weekend” Hotch takes a deep breath as he thinks back. 
You didn’t want to get out of bed this morning, but you promised Hotch you would go to his son's soccer game with him. Apparently because you have been on the team for over a year and a half now and you still haven’t met his son yet which is a call for concern, apparently. Slowly you dragged yourself out of bed and got ready for the day, driving to the soccer field and stopping for some coffee and um a hot chocolate, because kids like hot chocolate right? You double asked yourself as you drove to the field, earlier than Hotch had told you the game was but he said he would be there early for warm up seeing as he is the couch. You pull up into the car parks, noticing a spare park beside a familiar car so you quickly park before getting out, and making your way through the field finding your boss setting down a bag and some bottles and a kid who seems to be a mini version of him holding a ball laughing beside him. 
“Morning” You call out to them, your eyes focused on Hotch as he turns around with a smile growing on his face.
“You're earlier” He points out, walking over to you.
“I know” You smirk softly. “But I brought coffee, and a hot chocolate for the little child” 
“Thanks,” Hotch smiles. “Jack, this is (Y/n) my coworker”
“Hi,” Jack mumbles, looking down.
“Hey kid” You smile awkwardly, before picking up the coffee and offering it to Hotch.
“Thank you, you didn’t have to” He smiles warmly as he reaches for it, his smile fades as you jump slightly at his movements. 
“Oh it's no problem” You focus your smile to stay put. “Sorry” You quickly apologise, gulping quickly as you turn to Jack as you hand him his drink. “This is for you Jack”
“Woah, it's huge!” Jack exclaims, taking it. “Dad only ever gets me the small one, thank you”
You can’t help but laugh softly. “It's because I’m better than him” You tease.
“That's because I have to deal with the sugar rush later,” Aaron groans, smirking at you.
“They get sugar rush?” You look at him confused, your eyebrows pinching together looking cute according to Aaron.
“They do, you don’t know anything about kids do you” Aaron teases you, laughing as he sees his son struggle to hold the cup without dropping it.
“Oh nothing, I don’t like kids” You shrug, as you watch Jack not realising Aaron is currently staring at you with his eyes full of hope.
After the soccer game, you three went out for ice cream, the day was full of laughter and joy as you got to know the Hotchner boys. The next few weekends the same thing happened, you went to the game, then an afternoon activity with the two sweetest boys. About six months pass by, when an incident with Jack processes to push you and Aaron closer. 
You are currently watching Jack's first game of summer soccer, cheering for him from the side lines, a huge smile takes over your face as you watch him. The pride grows in your chest as he scores another goal, glancing over at Aaron by the side lines, the proud dad looks on his face as he claps loudly with the clipboard. The game is close, the team only needs one more goal and the game is theirs. The game goes by quickly with both teams playing well for kids, your heart is pounding when you see Jack got the ball lined up for the goal and the referee is about to call the game, but then he kicks and he gets in just as the game comes to an end. The team all screams and cheers with excitement, running towards their parents to celebrate, except Jack. He’s sprinting towards screaming that he’s won, before he’s jumping at you, wrapping his arms around you. You freeze, your smile falters as he touches you, but then you look down at the small boy in your arms and you smile before wrapping your arms around him, the tension in your chest breaking apart.
“You did amazing kiddo” You smile widely as you hear heavy footsteps approaches, pulling away from Jack as you glance up to meet his father's gaze, a worried look on his face quickly fades to a relieved, happy look.
“They played great” You smile at him, but your smile doesn’t reach your eyes as Jack pulls away, causing Aaron to worry internally.
“They did, you did so great buddy” Aaron looks down at his son, with loving eyes as he ruffles his hair. 
Later that night, you three have had a movie night and now Jack is asleep in his bed as you and Aaron watch a less kid friendly movie, while chatting away. 
“I’m sorry if Jack made you uncomfortable earlier” Aaron glances at you as the conversation from before dies away, your eyes stay glued on the tv.
“Um when?” You gulp, you know what he’s talking about, but you don’t want to talk about it.
“When he hugged you (Y/n), I know you don’t like physical touch”
“It's fine, It happened and it didn’t suck” You shrug, ignoring the way your body tenses up.
“(Y/n), If you want me to tell him not to do it again I will” Aaron speaks softly, watching the upset and agitated look flash over your face as you glance at him.
“Don’t do that, I don’t mind hugging him. What, am I not allowed to hug people just because I’ve never hugged someone before!” You snap at him, anger and sadness welling up inside you.
“No, I didn’t mean that” Aaron smiles sadly at you, before reaching for your hand that lays on the couch in between you both. Your freeze, your eyes focusing on his hand closely but you don’t pull away. He slowly intertwined his fingers with yours, taking a deep you slide your thumb over his, a small smile pulling at your lips.
“You said you haven’t had a hug before?” Aaron keeps his voice light as he speaks, holding your hand softly as he looks up at you. 
“Not since I was young” You talk quietly, looking into his eyes as you speak. “I know I’m not normal Aaron but I’m trying I promise” Your voice almost sounds like you're begging when you speak, your voice wobbles as your eyes water just a little.
“I know you are, I see you and you are doing a great job” Aaron reassures you. Holding back the automatic urge to pull you into a hug and tell you that nothing can hurt you anymore and that you're doing a great job and just how far you have come. But he can’t do that, because you're not ready for the praise nor ready for the way he wants to hold you and even if you are he would break the thin line of professionalism he is trying to keep between you two.
“I am?” Your face lights up a little, a smile tugging at your lips. 
“You are, do you remember when you first joined the team?” Aaron smiles as he watches you, the way your eyes slide to the wall as you think back.
“Yeah.. You kept getting mad at me”
“Mad isn’t the right word, I was concerned for you. You barely slept and never ate, you drank more caffeine than Reid and that’s saying something” Aaron jokes lightly, causing you to chuckle softly.
“Okay, but I still do that most weeks”
“Still less than you used to do, and that's an improvement” Aaron squeezes your hand softly, which makes your smile grow just a little. “You also used violence a lot more when arresting an unsub, you don’t do that so much anymore you have more control over your temper” His words sink in slowly, your heart melting as your eyes meet his, allowing his sweet words to break your walls down. 
“That one is hard, anger and violence is all I knew growing up” Your words are barely above a whisper as you admit that, squeezing his hand a little. 
“That's okay, because you are still young and you are still learning” He smiles as his thumb brushes over your hand. “Also back then you would never let me hold your hand, or even hug my son”
“Maybe it's more because you two mean something to me rather than something else” You gulp as you admit your feelings.
“Well you are welcome here whenever you like” Aaron smiles as he looks at you, his eyes filled with love as he stares into your own. He feels himself falling for you, he knows it's wrong but right now Aaron doesn’t care, because he’s never seen anyone with such beautiful eyes before.
“Can.. Can you hug me.. I want to try it” You push the words out of your throat as the nerves start to get involved. Aaron smiles softly, his arms wrapping around you, pulling you down and into his chest. You take a deep breath, half laying down in his arms, closing your eyes as you focus on his heart beat, and the warmth his arm produces.

“You two got really close?” Dave pulls Aaron back to the present.
“Six months Dave… That night brought us even closer but six months it stayed like that” Aaron voice breaks as a tear slides down his hands shaking. “And then he pulled away, something was going on but he refused to tell me what and after one night.. That night he.. He kissed me” Aaron takes a sharp breath as that memory invades his mind the way you cupped his face as you ask him sweetly before your lips are capturing his. 
“What happened?” Dave watched him concernedly, his eyes focused on Aaron's body language. 
“He fell asleep in my arms, and the next morning he was gone, I tried to talk to him at work and he told me that he had to refocus on work, he didn’t have time for friends, I let him go Dave, I knew something was wrong but I also knew that he’s not right, he doesn't understand relationships or love, now I know why” Aaron looks up at Dave, his heart breaking. 
“This isn’t your fault Aaron” Dave reaches out, placing a hand on his shoulder.
“I know Dave but–” Before Aaron could finish there's an urgent knock on the door pulling the two mens attention away. As soon as the door opens Garcia and Morgan are walking in urgent looks plastered over their faces, both carrying their laptops.
“They are going live” Morgan breaks the silence, before glancing at Hotch who is quickly drying his face., jumping to his feet quickly. All four of them gather around the laptop where the loading screens disappear and your bloody face fills the screen making Aarons insides screaming.

You are left alone for hours after being tortured, they only stopped after you screamed out the name they branded you with. You pass out at one point, your body and mind begging for a break, and against the hardest you try you black out. A sharp pain flies across your face, bringing you back to the hell you're in. Blinking rapidly while your eyes adjust to the bright light shining down at you, your eyes finally adjust landing on the man in front of you.
“Ready for round two Jupiter?” He chuckles at you, his grin is one that will forever haunt your nightmares.
“Why don’t you untie me and I’ll show you just how ready I am” You glare up at him, anger and tiredness sitting in your chest. He grabs your chin pinching it hard between his thumb and pointer finger, his eyes icy cold as he stares into you.
“Oh that's the plan, we’re going old school” A sickening feeling fills your stomach as his grin grows.
“No, not again” You spit at him, fear filling you knowing that's their plan to break you.
“Bring him out” He yells out, letting your chin go as the door on the other side of the room swings open, your stomach drops. She walks in, followed by a younger boy who seems to be in his mid teens.
“He’s too young no” You shake your head vigorously, your heart pounding. He looks so strong, but you know you're stronger even in your current state you could beat him. 
“You killed people when you were younger than him” He laughs. “Hell you are our youngest killer after all”
“Shut up” You snarl at him, your eyes flickering towards the video camera.
“Just enjoy the fight, let yourself remember the joy you used to feel” He smirks as he grabs the camera and lights moving them out of the pool before he climbs out.
“Hey, aren’t you going to untie me then” You glare up at him, your eyes glace at the kid as he approaches, his eyes are dead but focused on you. To him you aren’t a person just a chore for the day, he just needs to get you over with so he can have dinner and go to sleep. 
“He will do it” He smirks at you, before the boy jumps into the pool.
“Julian, remember the rules” Ma’am calls to the boy, her eyes flickering to yours. Her’s are filled with excitement, she can’t wait to see the next show. 
“Yes Ma’am” He nods, before approaching you, untying you quickly before backing up to his corner. 
“When 
I say start you two better give everyone a good show my lovies” She sings out to you two before giggling sickly, holding the camera zooming in on you as you stand up your eyes trained on the boy. You won’t attack him, just keep him busy until he gives up.
“Three, two one, go” Her smirk darkness as the boy lunges at you.

He’s a lot stronger than you thought he was, after a few rounds of dodging and making him chase you around the pool, he’s managed to land a few strong punches on you. Eventually he gets you down, his fist colliding with your face too much for you to think straight and soon instinct takes over. Your legs wrap around his waist, flipping you both over as you manage to get a few hits on him, he stops moving as you put pressure over his throat. A soft laugh escapes you as he starts relaxing under you, his eyes soften as fear invades them as he struggles underneath you. 
“Please don’t” He coughs his words out, but they aren’t enough to stop you.
“That’s it Jupiter finish him” She cheers for you, your stomach drops as her voice sets in. Shaking your head as you eyes meet him, you quickly let his throat go as he stops struggling under you. 
“That's not my name” You growl glancing at her, before looking at the scared boy under you. “Take a deep breath kid, you're okay now” You speak softly, guilt eating at you. He nods quickly, taking deep breaths as you climb off him, holding out a hand for him, pulling him up to his feet. Sliding his arm over your shoulder as he uses you for support, you glare up at the two viewers.
“You can try as much as you like, you're not breaking me” You breathe heavily as you try to catch your breath. You are pretty sure your ribs are broken along with your nose, more blood drips down your face.
“Bullshit” He snarls out as he jumps into the pool with you, storming over.
“Can’t break me” You smirk at him just a little.
“You won that fight, and winners here only win one way” He glares murderously at you, before you have time to process anything he lunges at Julian. A sharp howl leaves the young boy's mouth, your eyes widen as he pulls away, blood dripping from the knife in his hand. 
“No!” You scream, your hand flies toward Julian side, where the stab wound is, pressing against the bleeding as you lay him down. 
“You won, deal with it” He laughs bitterly as they walk out, leaving you two alone. 
You hold the tears back as you press against the wound, looking into the young boy's frightened eyes.
“It's.. its going to be okay kid” You try to pull yourself together, as the boy stares up at you.
“It's okay” He coughs out weakly. “They can’t hurt me now” 
“That's right they can’t” You whimper, a tear sliding down as the light in his eyes start to fade. 
“My sister here, she's beside you” His words are barely above a whisper now, goosebumps make your arms tingle. 
“Go with her kiddo, be safe now” Tears slide down as his chest stops breathing and you can’t move. Eventually you pull your hands off him, and collapse onto your back sobs racking through your body. That should be you, no one is even looking for you, this is your fault.

The team sits in silence as the live ends, Garcia keyboard is the only sound that fills the room. Tears are sliding down almost everyone's face, guilt, fear and anger fills everyone. The rest of the team had come and joined the other four earlier on, everyone had to watch your fight in silence, their hearts breaking at your screaming. The way you fell to your knees trying to keep the boy alive, then it ended, and no one knows how to proceed. 
“Penelope, do you have a location?” It's Dave that breaks the silence, his eyes landing on her. Her body is shaking as she cries but she carries on typing on her laptop.
“No, but.. But I’ve got it narrowed down, and I tapped into their viewers, maybe we can’t get something off that” Her voice is shaky as she tries to push through it. 
“Baby girl” Derek gently takes her hand, worried about her shaking.
“I.. I’m sorry” She sobs, falling into Derek's chest who holds her closely, his own tears sliding down.
“Everyone take five minutes, then back to the precinct” Aaron orders, his eyes still focused on the screen, his heart falling apart. In a quick minute JJ and Reid are running out of the room, needing time to themselves. 
Everyone knew the timeline had been cut shorter, if they make you fight again, Aaron knows you will give yourself up, he can’t let you do that.

Freddy & Friends is an AU created by Roux36 Productions set in the Five Nights at Freddy’s IP.
As opposed to focusing on a single “what if?” question for the AU, F&F is a rewrite of the FNAF story in its entirety, constructed from the ground-up to tell a more realistic, character-driven take on the original story.

How much thought did you put into this?
It’s not that I’m a massive nerd, but it’s just that I’m actually a massive nerd.
Animatronics are loosely grounded in real-world mechanical engineering, giving them plausible designs for them to have existed in the 1980’s (down to the very components that make them function.)
The restaurant itself has regulations and procedures to manage the animatronics during the day (this varies depending on the restaurant).
The restaurant layouts themselves have been redesigned to be more coherent with the rules of architecture.
The animatronic characters themselves have their own lore and personalities within the cartoon world.
I have a full list of employees who worked at both Afton Robotics and Fazbear Entertainment.
The rules of the spirits are grounded in real-world cultural beliefs, as well as typical ghost hunting traditions.
No character is written to be two-dimensional. The characters don’t just do stuff for the plot; they do them because it’s in-character for them to do so. They’re not just ghost children haunting the animatronics. They’re also human.

Okay so I know you said that your escape au can’t really… go with Dark Revival based on the way things are set up but… I’m kinda curious about your escape au character’s reactions would be to that whole Joey Drew Museum at Arch Gate’s. (I can guess they won’t exactly be happy about it lol)
can't believe thomas connor is going to break into arch gate to destroy the machine (i can, in fact, believe that)
Jokes aside, DARK REVIVAL’S ADDITION TO CANON IS… INTERESTING… because yeah, most of the ink stuff can’t be part of Escape AU. Joey would have a much harder time creating a daughter while he’s locked in a shed, obviously, and Escape!Joey was actually trapped in the cycle, which doesn’t seem to be true of BatDR Original Joey. All of the Escapees were the original humans, transformed and trapped until somehow they were able to escape – we know Escape!Henry can't be a clone, since Linda is explicitly involved in supporting the Escape House financially.
But the “real world” stuff? That could still happen. Joey was trapped in the cycle with Henry, so he would go missing in the outside world and appear to be dead. Nathan could still buy the rights to Bendy, and could still open his own Studio with that IP. He could still acquire Joey’s estate once Joey’s declared legally dead, and with it, the Ink Machine. The “current” time (the rough zone I draw and imagine things in) for Escape AU is somewhere in the 60s – BatIM took place in ‘63 and most of my Escape AU thoughts take place around 2-5 years later, with the vague idea that eventually many members of the Escape House will have recovered enough afterwards to move on and get their own places, but still keep in touch. So… the bit where Bendy comes back into focus and the cartoons are revived and Nathan talks about his good friend Joey who had such a cool and admirable vision in the papers could all theoretically still happen, and I think it would be ROUGH for a lot of them to navigate. What can you do other than try to ignore it? But Sammy’s going to hear remixes of his music on TV and they’re all going to see That Smile show up on shelves again when Nathan re-releases the comics, and there’s going to be a documentary about Joey Drew that’s paid for by the guy who thinks all the spooky stories about the studio were just a lot of mean rumours about his good friend that gets all their histories half-wrong… Even if nothing else from BatDR happened, I really wouldn’t blame them if a lot of recovery progress got very suddenly undone in 1972.

To celebrate the Dark Revival... we uncovered something sitting in the archives for quite some time.
This is a script. One for a special that was apparently slotted to be released in the month of April originally. That was all that could be discerned from the documents, what year in specific is still lost. There are even a select number of characters exclusive to this script who appear nowhere else across the Bendy IP prior to the 1990s.

Angie; “Bendy! I was hoping that the both of us could visit the beach once more, mayhap we can bring the others as well?”
Bendy; “Ah, sure Anj! Sounds like it’d be fu-“
(Alice walk in and puts her arms around Bendy, very deliberately having his head near her breasts. Cue sitcom audience cheers as Alice enters.)
Alice; “Ohhh, but Bendy just promised to take me out for a date! So sorry, maybe he can play little games with you some other time, sweetums~?”
Bendy; “Alice, c’mon! she was inviting all of us! She wasn’t excluding you on purpose or something, right?”
Angie; “Um... yes, of course she may accompany us! I do not see why Alice canno-”
(Alice and Bendy make quick confused noises at Angie’s response before resuming.)
Alice; “Oh, of course! It is just like privileged little you to try and take Bendy all for yourself! Sorry airhead, but Bendy is far too grown up for a childish little girly-girl like you! A handsome devil like this deserves a real woman like me!”
 
(bouncy sound effects to imply her boobs are flopping around.)
Angie; “But, Lady Alice, I never intended-!”
Bendy; (anxiously, under his breath) “Anj, just grab my arm!”
(Angie tries to reason peacefully until Bendy gestures her to grab hold of one of his arms. Alice has his other arm in the usual love-triangle tug-of-war scenario/trope. Angie looks less “grumpy” and more uncomfortable)
 
Bendy; “Ladies, ladies! Please, there’s plenty of the Devil Darling to go around!”
Angie; “You are in samples??”
(Bendy’s surprised, laughs a bit and is about to correct her until Alice cuts in again)
Alice; “It’s an expression, nitwit! See Bendy? Why bother with this Dumb Dora, when you can have a Darlin Dame~?”
(Angie is saddened by the persistent bullying from Alice’s end)
Bendy; (angrily to Alice, under his breath again) “You’re not helpi-!”
 
(cut to Boris nearby with a banjo)
Boris; “Gee wiz Bendy, quite the heartbreaker lately aren’cha?”
Bendy; (dramatically) “it’s my devilish charms, I can’t help it!”
Boris; “One’a these days it’s gonna be yer downfall, attracting so many-“
(Sammy shows up the hell out of nowhere.)
 
Sammy; “Wonderful Lord Bendy! Let me sniff your holy panties!”
Boris: “Well, if it isn’t that super-wacky Sammy! The head of the Music Department who has no note-worthy character outside of blindly worshiping Bendy! He was never a toon like us, but… um, guess he’s here anyway! Hooray!”
Sammy; “insert anime joke here!”
Bendy; (in pure dread) “Oh no-“
 
(And now Wally shows up, also the hell out of nowhere.)
Wally; “Regardless of how Bendy’s lovelife goes, if it makes another damn tidal wave of a mess I gotta clean up: I’M OUTTA HERE!”
(stupid laughtracks playing)
Alice; “He said the catchphrase!”
Bendy; “Wally the Janitor is just hilarious in everything he pops up in, right everyone!?”
Boris; “Sponsored by the following companies listed.” (onscreen there’s several of the in-universe businesses in the canon-verse. Maybe throw in a reference to other fictitious companies? Acme is a definite one to add.)
 
Bendy; “Actually, Alice… I don’t think you really specified where you wanted to have that date anyway, where were you thinking?”
Alice; “Oh, I thought you’d never ask, my Widdle Debil! Infact, I want all of you to come with, please do follow your angel!”
Bendy and Boris; (failing to see how suspicious that was) “Sounds good to me!”
As Bendy, Boris and Sammy obediently follow Alice, Angie is called by someone else off-screen the opposite way.
 
Angie; “Wait, what was that?”
(murmured gibberish a’la Peanuts is heard)
Angie; “Oh um, alright then.”
 
(The ‘gang’, sans Angie, arrive at Joey Drew Studios. I’ll prolly just take a photo of whatever animation studio or old building from google and slap the JDS logo on top of it. Laziness!) 
 
Alice; “And here we are!”
Bendy; “Uhh… Alice??”
Boris; “Isn’t this the old studio?... Y’know, as in that place where all of us experienced terrible, traumatic pasts involving human experimentation and brutal ritualistic sacrifices that’ve left us all emotionally and mentally scared forever and other dark, gruesome things like that?”
(Bendy is a little taken aback by Boris’ detailed description.)
Bendy; “… Yeah… I thought we all vowed to never come back here…? Wasn’t finally getting out a highly triumphant moment for us or something?”
Sammy; “Lord Bendy, your buttocks is scrumptious like hamburgers!”
 
Alice; “Oh, I assure you! I have very good reasons for why I chose to take you all here! I have one… no, TWO very important things I’ve needed to show you all for a long time!”
Bendy; “Only now this has been brought up??”
Alice; “both are a lot to take in, but I need you to trust me… do you doubt your angel~?”
Bendy; “Ahh… fine then.”
Boris; “I’m ready for anything.”
(Alice looks up and calls to someone)
Alice; “Alright deary-pie, you can come out now!”
(stupid dramatic sound effects as the apparent newcomer is revealed)
Geno-Fur; “Hello, everyone!! It’s me, Geno-Fur!!”

Sudden Narrator; “Thaaaat’s right! It’s Geno-Fur the DemonAngel, the most powerful cartoon character in all of Toon Town! The perky, talented daughter of Bendy the Demon and Alice Angel with the help of the Ink Machine, this cute toon angel demon girl has an inner inky darkness unlike any other! She’s oh-so deep, mysterious and meaningful everyone!”
 
Bendy; (more and more like he’s reading it off a script) “Oh my Satan! Alice, we have a long-lost daughter who is beautiful and an objectively perfect and wonderful blend of who we both are! And will probably easily surpass us in popularity! If I had known we had such a blessing who totally didn’t just fall out of the sky, I would have dropped everything, married you and center my entire life around you both!
Sammy; “Praise be unto the blessed firstborn!”
(Boris is bug-eyed, genuinely dumbfounded by what is happening before him)
Boris; “UM…??”
 
Geno-Fur; “OMG! Mommy, Daddy, thank you so much! You even brought my husband here to see me!
(Geno-Fur hugs Boris hard enough to pop his spine, he’s in pain. “CAN’T… B-BREATHE-!!” his poor banjo has snapped in two. To Boris’ luck, Geno-Fur releases him.)
Bendy; (zero effort on his part) “Don’t go breakin’ my princess’s heart, Boris…”
Alice; “I love beautiful reunions!”
Sammy; “I shall always be a loyal, faithful Side-Hoe willing to pleasure you, your Queen, and your glorious child, my Lord!”
 
Boris; “Guys, none of this is in my copy of the script, what’s going on?!?”
Alice; “I’ll gladly answer that! What’s going on is my second reason…”
(Alice wipes the side of her face to reveal the same gross Scarface thing going on with Susie-Alice. Shock Horror, she’s also Susie-Alice.)
Alice: “As it turns out, I’m still not near as perfect as I’d like to be!! AH-HAHAHA!”
(Alice cackles evilly as she grabs Boris and drags him into the building. Yes, exactly like the end of Chapter 3.)
Boris; (As he’s spirited away) “WHAAAAAT THEEEEE HAYSTAAACK!?....”
 
Bendy; “What!? Oh god, Boris!! Hang on buddy, I’m coming!”
(a panicking Bendy runs in to rescue Boris, Sammy and Geno-Fur follow)
Sammy; “M’Lawd! I will follow you to the ends of the earth!”
Geno-Fur; “Mommy!! Daddy!! Why can’t we settle this like normal people!?”
(Bendy is desperately trudging into the studio, unknowingly he is very slowly melting into his monster-form we are all familiar with as he becomes exhausted)
Bendy; “Boris, please hang on!! I’m coming...!! .. Augh… Maybe… Maybe I should hit the gym? NO!! No, I’m fine!! Goddamned fine!! I just gotta… Gotta keep going… Wait, wait… why is my sweat this… thick and… dark?”
(Bendy’s then surprised upon overhearing something, looking to the side to find Henry somewhere in the distance and humming to himself- probably doing one of the Chapter 3 tasks)
Henry; “Joey Drew he likes big fingers in his ass, Joey Drew he likes big fingers in his ass, fingers in his ass, he likes in his-” (yes. It’s that meme. I have zero shame.)
(Bendy slowly becomes angered)
Bendy; “Henry… Henry!!”
(this gets Henry’s startled attention. As Bendy rants he slowly completes his transformation into Monster-Bendy.)
Bendy; “My old, actual for-real creator, Henry… You left everyone… You left ME! Why didn’t you stay!? Was I just a mistake to you, blaming me for everything Joey did!? Why didn’t you love me, Henry!? Was I never good enough for you!? You LIED to us!! You never stopped Joey from all of the atrocities he committed!! You never came back!! You never played catch with me and called me ‘Sport’!! You never threw me a Birthday!! YOU NEVER BOUGHT ME A HAPPY MEAL!!!”
Henry; “Oh gosh!”
(Henry zooms away as fast as he can, his warped and enraged cartoon-demon son giving chase. Suddenly Geno-Fur to the oh-so convenient rescue.)
Geno-Fur; “Oh my god, daddy!! Izzat you?? Ohmygaww I can see why mommy thot u wer hawt!!”
(Bendy is understandably confused by her appearance and comment.)
Bendy; “huh…what??”
(he looks back to where Henry was initially, however Henry’s already in a miracle station also conveniently nearby)
Bendy; “HE’S GONE!! Where did he-!?”
Geno-Fur; “Ummm like… you know that weird up-and-down door and room thingy with buttons??”
Bendy; (surprised at how goddamn stupid she is) “The… you mean the elevator?”
Geno-Fur; “Yeah!! The escalator! I think Henry’s using it to go down to liiiiike… Level 1000!”
Bendy; “…There is no Level 1000. The building doesn’t tunnel down THAT deep.”
Geno-Fur; “Exactly!! Like, he’s going so deep down he’s trying to get to a level that doesn’t exist! I’m sure that if you go all the way down to the last floor, you’ll find Henry! Good luck daddykins!”
Bendy; (half-assing at this point) “Well, I totally trust my perfect hybrid daughter to never lie to me ever and that alibi is highly convincing. I will go.”
(Bendy exists the scene in his usual spooky way, to which Henry hops back out of the station.)
Geno-Fur; “Hurry Henry!! We gotta save mah Woof Hubby and get out of here!! And bring mommy and daddy back with the power of family love!!”
(Geno-Fur tearfully exists, Henry following her.)
Henry; “This is what I got out of retirement for…”
 
(Cut to Alice’s super-duper evil lab room with Boris strapped to the operating table Frankenstein style. Alice is still acting in-character, in contrast Boris is basically left to ad-lib and isn’t entirely certain on the mood of the scene. Boris scratches at his neck, but quickly puts his arm back in as soon as he realizes they’re rolling.)
Alice; (some obligatory evil chuckling) “… And after I’ve done away with you, Henry AND Bendy, I can continue my makeover with no trouble or interruptions at all! Then I will have the popularity I was always destined for! Now, any last words before you fulfil your purpose, little wolfie~?”
Boris; “is it too early to make a ‘stole my heart’ joke, even though you got the REAL side-splitters, or...?”
(some muffled laughter off-stage is heard, implied to be Rodney behind the camera. Alice is unamused and gestures at Boris threateningly.)
Alice; “Be quiet or I’ll cut you open faster.”
Boris; “Alright, alright, I’ll shush…” 
The “mysterious” voice who may or may not be Rodney; “Bitter hag-”
 
(because of budgetary, technical, and time-related issues… we already skip over to chapter 4 events because we’re basically haphazardly trying to scrunch in the entire canon-game story, not caring if it makes any sense at all like always)
 
Henry; “Okay, so it’s only now occurred to me to ask; earlier, we were in the show… but as we kept going, all of a sudden we’re in the-?”
Geno-Fur; “YAWN! You’re boring old-man dinosaur talk is super boring, we’re not gonna rescue Boris fast enough if you don’t let me do all of the mouth-stuff! No wonder mommy and daddy wanna murder-fy you, LOL!”
Henry; “I… I don’t even- what the heck is a ‘LOL’, anyway!? Why are you helping me if you’re their daughter or something!?”
Geno-Fur; “Because I’m sooo nice!! :3”
Henry; “How… how do you even work??”
 
(The Butcher Gang mooks appear right the hell out of nowhere without Henry even opening any of the doors)
Charley; (in a grunty, zombie-ish way) “Now’s are time to shine, boys… Lets take all of our pent-up frustrations out on Henry!”
Geno-Fur; “OOOOOH MY GOOOOOOOD!!! SOOOO KAWAII! THESE GUYS ARE SOOO MY HUSBANDS!”
(she hugs all three up to her tumour-tits, immediately all their necks snap.)
Henry: (not even caring anymore) “I thought you said Boris was your husband.”
Geno-Fur; “Ummm, DUH? Of course, he is! You’ve clearly not been listening to me with your senile old-ness! Seriously, I thought the guy who drew ME would be super-hot and NOT some old BOOMER! Isn’t that right, husbands!?”
(she only now realises the 3 are dead and lets out a big Darth Vader “NOOOO!!!”, Henry is unfazed.)
 
(Meanwhile, back at Bendy’s Ink Machine throne room - Bendy was able to hear Geno-Fur’s annoying whine from several of those miles upwards)
Bendy; “the hell…? Ugh… probably my cue… A guy just can’t watch his own show on loop in peace anymore…”
(as Bendy speaks he’s existing his “castle” to return to the higher levels. Sammy abruptly appears again in one of the hallways Bendy passes.)
Sammy; “My Lord! I will always be gleeful and willing to perform any request you-!”
 
(Bendy, not even making eye-contact, clocks Sammy in the head with his “good toon hand” hard enough to put the walking notice-me-senpai-joke out cold, the sound effect a wet and loud POW. Mr Lawrence is unconscious. And maybe missing some teeth.)
 
Bendy; “Fuckin’ punchline…”
 
(Cut back to Henry and Geno-Fur at the carnival prototype area. The poor old man is being ranted at by the annoying Mary Sue disaster for killing her 3 other “husbands”. Even though that was her own fault.)
 
Geno-Fur; “Those valiant gentle-mans meant the world to me and now they’re all gross inky poopy-goop!! This is all YOUR fault, you ugly old murderer-guy, you!! Feel guilty for your evil sins!!”
Henry; “I never even touched them; YOU did that! Please tell me, are you some kinda alien who is trying to mimic what a toon looks and acts like? Because you’re failing miserably.”
Geno-Fur; “I’m young and pretty and you’re a wrinkly old fart!! That means I’m right and you’re wrong!!”
(Henry groans in annoyance, pinching the bridge of his nose)
Henry; “Alright then… Seeing as I’m clearly a hindrance to your ‘noble quest’ or… whatever, how’s about this: you go ahead and complete all of the puzzles needed to unlock the doors, while I search for any clues or another alternate route that could maybe get us into that haunted house faster? I mean, clearly, it’d be my only good contribution to your ‘mission’.”
Geno-Fur; “Pfff, I have a better idea! I’ll go ahead and complete all the puzzles needed to unlock the doors, while YOU search for any clues or another alternate route that could maybe get us into that haunted house faster! I mean, clearly, it’d be your only good contribution to my mission!”
 
(As Geno-Fur sneers she walks to the puzzle-room that has Norman in it, Henry has an expression that all but states he wants to see this obnoxious girl get hit by a truck.)
Henry; “You…go do that.”
Geno-Fur; “YAS! And I’ma doit like a sexy QUEEN~!!”
(As she enters the door shuts behind her, trapping her there until the task would be completed.)
Henry; “Okay then… Better think of something before she gets back. I can only put up with that rotten attitude for so long…”
(Before Henry knew it, he now hears several sounds indicative of clutter and a chase as he sadly must hear Geno-Fur’s voice once more, although muffled through the walls and corridors… There are gradually more muffled sounds of disaster around him, almost impossibly so as Geno-Fur’s whining can be heard amongst it. Sounds range from explosions, to car horns and all the way to an elephant. Henry is utterly lost.)
Henry; “What the devil is that brat doing!?”
(as soon as the noise dies down finally, all the doors and puzzles have spontaneously been completed. Whatever Geno-Fur caused in there, it finished everything for him.)
Henry; “Wait, already?... Huh, that screechy rat-girl helped with progress for once…”
 
(Not wasting any time, Henry hops into the attraction and heads towards one of the carts on the track. Extra sound-effects/in-game audio to indicate the ride starts, as Henry is slowly carted through the tunnel-portion the intercom is switched on, it’s Boris and Susie-Alice mid-conversation. Alice sounds angered with a reasonable Boris.)
Boris; “-I’m just saying, you weren’t part of Henry’s initial vision when making this show, and that isn’t a bad thing! I mean, Lola got popular after Space Jam-“
Susie-Alice; “And popular with who, exactly!? A bunch of perverts who don’t care about character! But as soon as I make it to the big top, the world will know I’m appealing in mind AND sexuality! So, what if I was Joey’s add-on!? I was the best thing to happen to you and Bendy’s sad little circus!”
Boris; “Alice, look, there’s no need to get hostile. I’ve been trying to help you and turn it around into something positive. You’re the one choosing to see it as something wrong. You’re not one of Henry’s characters like Bendy and I. That isn’t an insult, it’s what happened!”
Susie-Alice; “Well! You!... You’re just a sad, stupid mongrel who digs up bones! And your friend is a fat, gremlin slob who’ll never have anything near as wonderful as me!! How do you like that, huh!? What do have to say to that!?”
Boris; “I’d say now you’re just yelling like an angry school-kid ‘cuz you don’t have a point.”
 
(Henry pays no heed to the Halloween-themed pop-ups as he listens in awkwardly)
Henry; “I might’ve jumped in too soon...”
(Susie-Alice and Boris both let out surprised a “huh?”)
Henry; “Oh! Did… did you two hear me? Didn’t think it worked that way.”
Boris; “Howdy Henry! Real quick, was all’a that ruckus earlier from that Jenny-chick? Sounded like a twister full of cats was let loose in here!”
Susie-Alice; “How much did you hear!? Wait, wait!! How do you shut this off!? Can we do this over!? Make the cart stop right now! I was supposed to give a profound and depressing speech--!!”
(the intercom is abruptly cut as Alice panics, likely because she was scrambling on the buttons. Henry’s already at the “house” part of the ride with paintings and such.)
Henry; “… I’ll just tell her I only heard something about bones and gremlins.”
(As Henry is carted across the room, he comments on the environment casually)
Henry; “Wonder who did the paintings in here? I need to ask around when I can. I don’t think the poor fella ever got credit, knowing Joey’s ‘forgetfulness’… Bertrum prolly has the answer, if he’s still nearby.”
(Henry’s about to head into the dark tunnel where Boris *would* be there as a Frankenstein monster to make it stop… but no, he isn’t there. Not to any degree.)
Henry: “Uhh… ‘Oh no! what has she done to you!?’ …”
(He clears his throat, then adds more base to his voice)
Henry: “…’OH NO! what has she done to you!?’ …”
 
(Although Henry’s deeper into the darker portion of the ride than what was normal, his tired prayer is answered as a pair of hands latch onto the cart and force it to stop. Henry: “… ‘Boris! What has she do-!?’ wait… wait, Nor-?”
(Norman, shrouded in shadows, cuts Henry off with a panicked “SHH!!”, then whispers...)
Norman: “Look, Hen, I’m having as hard a time to follow what’s going on as you are. I’m going to push you back and adjust the cart, so it doesn’t keep moving. This did not happen, and you never saw me!”
Henry: “Of course… Highly terrifying Ink-monster who I did not see here…”
Norman: “There we go.”
 
(As the not-Projectionist(?) stated, he shoved the cart back and made quick work to turn it in such a way that it wouldn’t continue onward on the track. Henry is awkwardly left alone waiting for the warped-Boris cue.)
Rodney, undoubtedly the cameraman now and in a snarky mood; “… Isn’t something supposed to happen in this clearly suspenseful climax we’ve been building up to?”
(There is a loud “BONK” sound effect as Rod is clocked on the noggin by somebody else, resulting in an annoyed “OW!! Son of a…!!” from him.)
 
(Susie-Alice enters the room without warning, very blatantly stalling for time with improvisations. Henry hardly reacts.)
Susie-Alice; “We meet again, Henry! You’re trapped in my web, and a little fly like you will have no chance of escape!”
Henry; “Didn’t you already use that spider-web analogy a while ago...?”
Susie-Alice; “Soon! Your face will be an analogy for all the pain and ruin you’ve done unto me which is very clearly your fault as much as Joeys’! But! Unlike your ruined face mine will be fixed and I’ll be the heavenly starlet idol I’ve always deserved to be!”
Henry; “You lost me.”
Susie-Alice; “And I’ll make you lose your head too! Literally, not figuratively!”
(she charges to him dramatically, brandishing a vase prop from the table. Henry leisurely hops out of the cart finally.)
Henry; “a cue to fight and defend myself, alrighty then...”
 
(Before Henry could spring into this on-the-spot “Boss Battle”, a sudden gent pipe whizzes through the air at a beeline to Susie-Alice’s head. It’s only hard enough to make her stop in her tracks with a surprised shriek and grunt to herself for a little in pain. Standing on top of the cart Henry had exited is “Allison Alice”. She’s posed dramatically and without Tom.)
“Allison”; “Please, don’t give up Henry! You’re our only hope!... Don’t know why I said that here and now, but I did…”
Henry; (fake gasp, he’s clearly getting tired) “Oh My Goodness, another Amy the Angel?”
“Allison”; “Um, it’s ‘Alice’-”
Henry; “-Dearie me, given that there have been dozens of Boris copies, does that mean there are just as many of you?”
“Allison”; “Honestly, you’ll love what I still remember about what happened to Lacie.”
(Susie moans about her brow hurting, “Allison” remembers her other lines.)
“Allison”; “OH! Uhh by the way Henry do not be deceived by this awful, evil witch! Even though I look even less like her, I’m absolutely the real and goody-good Alice Angel!”
 
(This accusation catches Susie-Alice’s attention, and she angrily glares daggers at her like a snobby teenaged girl who got upstaged at prom.)
Susie-Alice; “You attention-whore hussy! I’m the REAL Alice Angel!”
“Allison”; “No, I’M Alice!”
Susie-Alice; “I’m Alice Angel!”
“Allison”; “I’m Alice Angel!”
Susie-Alice; “I’m Alice Angel!”
“Allison”; “I’m Alice Angel!”
Susie-Alice; “I’m Dirty Dan!”
“Allison”; “I’m Dirty Dan!”
(they both pause)
Susie-Alice; “…Did that really just come out of our mouths-?”        
 
(explosion and clutter noises, everyone is surprised. It’s Geno-Fur having burst into the haunted house room through the wall.)
Geno-Fur; “Shit! I was so lucky daddy saved me from that creepy camera-head guy! He could’ve grabbed my sexy butt and make it all gross with the weird ink corruption!!”
Henry; (under his breath) “Why did neither of them strangle her…”
Geno-Fur; “Mommy! Stop it! I know you’re like so much more than all this darkness and suffering! I totes forgive you for turning my woof hubby all ugly, because I know we can all fix and love him together! You don’t have to stab anything! You nurtured me and made me the proud, talented, and strong woman I am today!”
“Allison”; “… are you talking to her or me??”
Geno-Fur; “Yes!!”
 
(Monster-Bendy’s signature Ink Aura seeps into the room as he suddenly approaches. Oh, the suspense!)
Henry, actually surprised by this; “Wait a minute, already?? How did he know to come right here!?”
Henry, now grumpily; “... It was that pea-brained banshee, wasn’t it. All of that obnoxious wailing lured him to us!”
Geno-Fur; “Shuttup! I’m legit the reason anything good happened here!!”
Henry, rolling his eyes; “Oh yeah. Sure…”
 
(Boris… Oh Sorry I mean Franken-Boris, finally enters the scene… however everyone is still talking, and he just stands there in the back awkwardly now that any room for his cue to start the monster act is completely null with the current cast ensemble. Once more, none of what is now transpiring was in his copy of the script. He’d be whistling and twiddling his “thumbs” if they weren’t so massive and heavy now.)
 
Monster-Bendy, finally; “Well, I for one can’t wait to make... Whatever her name is stay quiet ONCE AND FOR ALL! But first things first, my bloody and graphic vengeance on HENRY!”
Susie-Alice; “HEY! Wait your turn, fatty! I’m having vengeance on him FIRST!”
Monster-Bendy; “THE FUCK YOU JUST CALL ME!? FINE THEN, MY VENGENCE IS ON EVERY PATHETIC SOUL IN THIS ROOM!”
“Allison”; “I was supposed to get Hen out of here by now??”
Geno-Fur; “DADDYYYYYY! NUUUUUUU! LEMME TOK 2 U!!”
Monster-Bendy; “WHAT!?”
Geno-Fur; “Plz, DADDY!
Monster-Bendy; “I heard you the first time-”
 
Geno-Fur; “If you’re not able to look within your heart and see that this isn’t what you want…
Monster-Bendy; “Sweet Solomon, what am I in for.”
Geno-Fur; “I wrote a song, which was 100% not originally by Christina Aguilera, JUST for you about how killing the people you love is wrong, and that I’m your best daughter ever AND LOVE YOU no matter what! It’s really dope and super cooler than what happened in Goofy Movie and I practiced all of the Fortnight dances and Minecraft stuff for it that I put it to and EVERYTHING! Duncha remember you n mommys wedding?? It was super bomb and I was the best gothic flowergirl in fishnets, leather skirt, midnight black corset and red firey boots EVER! Jus remember all de times we were like the best sexiest fam in da WORLD! And after it’s all done, I can play fnaf games with you! And then later, we’ll have another episode where I’m in highschool and Boris-sempai meets me under the cherry-blossom trees and I made him been-toes n’ stuff, and we’re the best OTP ever and Romeo and Juliet could never hope to compare to how deep we got it! And then in the final season it’ll be revealed yer in love with Uncle Cuphead and mommy is all like-!”
 
Bendy is slack jawed at this stupidity. He finally snaps.
 
Bendy; “F-… Fortnight and..? Did I hear that? Stop the cameras. Hit the brakes. Back up the bus. STOP THE GODDAMN MUSIC! Listen, I’ve put up with a LOT of braindead pandering malarkey this episode, but shit like FORTNITE REFERENCES and other media where they don’t belong are where I’m drawing the damn line. That tears it! I’m leaving! I don’t give a shit about getting a check anymore! I have a cat to feed and play with back at home, and I’m not wasting anymore time or energy on this! I’VE HAD IT WITH THIS TRIPE!!”
 
As Bendy rants, he’s removing his huge monster-self costume. Boris struggles out of the fat-suit and discards the gigantic gloves, whipping one of the X’s off his eyelids. They were makeup.
Boris; “I’m right there with you, Bend. I didn’t spend three years religiously studying musical theatre and drama to be in this piece of cow dung!”
“Allison” removes her wig to reveal it’s been Maria the whole time, because the real Allison wanted no part in this.
Maria; “Personally I’d of taken so many fat ones to stay OUT of the camera.”
Boris; “...’Many fat’ what??”
Maria; “I’ll… say when we’re older!”
Boris; “Mari, all of us are presumed 20-somethings-“
 
Rodney, finally visible as he’s approaching the set: “Rufford could fart on paper, and that’d be better material than this slop.”
Boris; “Who’s to say he isn’t one of the prime suspects? I mean, if it wasn’t Mr. Drew, or Raph-”
Bendy; “I just remembered, where the Blue Hell’s Angie!? She straight-up VANISHED in the middle of act 1!”
Angie, muffled; “Um, I am in here!”
 
They all look to a wooden box nearby. Boris pries it open to reveal Angie squeezed within.
Angie; “Hello, my friends!”
Bendy; “Anj!”
Angie; “I was informed that this would be my best contribution to the project...”
Boris; “… Wait, why put Angie into one of the crates I was s’posed to SMASH to bits, according to my script copy?”
 
(Geno-Fur interrupts like always)
Geno-Fur; “NnnnnOOOO!!! You can’t leave now! It was getting soooo gooooood!! I WANT TO SPREAD THE FEELS OF MY FEELS SPEECH!!”
Bendy; “SHADDAP, you obnoxious personification of preteen fanfiction and anime-base art!! C’mon outta there Angie, Henry promised to take us out for donuts after this.”
Angie, freed from the crate; “Oh, lovely!”
Boris; “I call dibs on the first bear claw.”
Maria; “Oh, I can absolutely go for a cream-filling!”
Bendy; “Maria, just.. don’t..”
 
Alice, trying to get Maria’s attention but ultimately ignored; “Why did the pipe you throw at me SMELL ‘funny’!?”
Dolly enters, just as frustrated about this dumb performance as everybody else.
Dolly; “Ages and ages on EVERYONE’S makeup, and do I get any mention on the end-credits? When I looked them over, NO.”
Rodney, chiming in; “Damn good for a first shot at horror-film sorta faceups, if ya ask me.”
Dolly; “Aw, you!”
Bendy; “Yeah, you got an artists’ hand Dolly! I remember Boris and I having a double-take at how well you captured Alice’s inner evil.”
Dolly; “Spoiling me, every single one of you”
(distant sound of Alice grunting grumpily and walking away from the group.)
 
Norman, somewhere in the distance: “Let’s just wrap this up and go home everybody, Joey can get his ears hollered off later!”
Bertrum, further away: “MY SCENES WERE SKIPPED OVER ALTOGETHER! THE NERVE OF WHOEVER PLITHERED OUT THIS PIGS’ EXREMENT…!!”
 
(Various voices are heard as the entire crew dissipates. Improv whatever.)
 
Henry returns to the remaining “toon crew”, holding a set of car keys
Henry; “Ima’s offered to tag along and pitch in, donuts are our treat fellas!”
 
Bendy, Angie, Boris, and company (not counting Alice or Geno-Fur) cheer in delight as they follow Henry out to grab some good old Shipley’s. Although still close by, the metaphorical camera is on the lady-trio. They momentarily face the audience.
 
Dolly; “Just to clarify, none of that hogwash we trudged through is canon.”
Angie; “We still hope you were entertained, thank you dearly for coming!”
Maria, after blowing a kiss; “Goodnight, everybody!”

Hey, it's me, Aniket Dhar!! And Welcome to my Blog - Aniket's Animation Blog!!
I have something to say, which I know, a lot of people don't even know about, but I think it's good to be said before it's too late!! And it's regarding Animation in a Global Scale!!
I reside from India, where Animation has not been great when it comes to original Intellectual Properties (IPs) but great at outsourcing Animation stuffs!! I love Animation ever since I was born and I used to watch a lots of Cartoons and stuff from late 90's and early 2000's!! There were lots of good stuffs we can get from TV, and back then, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Disney Channel and others were used to show good qualities of content, which are now showing bad stuffs of content!! That discussion would be on another day!!
But That's not the topic at all I'm gonna cover!! I am an ardent Animation fan ever since my childhood, watching every single animated content (I mean, Family-friendly animated content, not the adult animation ones) I can consume!! The most vivid memories are from my childhood and there was a show I loved ever since I watched it, and that was Oswald!! Remember, that blue octopus with his pet dog called Weenie, that used to shown on Nick Jr.?? Well, if you remembered, then we're no different!! I used to watch Oswald a lot on weekdays before going to school and on holidays!! That one was my first favorite show at that time!!

I loved the story, the characters and the Opening and Closing Song, which were soothing to our ears!! And Oswald's Catchphrase, "Oh my gosh!!" and referring Weenie as, "Weenie-girl" And Henry, that Penguin, saying, "Great Scott!!", and Daisy, that Sunflower, saying " Wowie-Kazowie", like yeah!! That was great at that time!! But the show was very limited and it was canceled by Nick Jr. themselves!! At that time, Oswald was underrated in the USA. The show never gone up above 26 episodes!! But it gave me so many memories back then!! There are other shows as well at that time, but Oswald was like a guide for me for how to be a Gentleman!! The show itself was a gem!!
Another Animated show, that I think it should be mentioned, and I think it would be incomplete to post is a preschool show, that I adored and loved so much as I loved and adored the same with Oswald, was a Nick Jr. Series, that should deserve to get mentioned, because it was also underrated as well like Oswald, and it should not get Canceled in the first place after 2 seasons run, because a lot of people backlashed the show, despite I loved that!! And that was, none other than, Peter Rabbit

Before Digital Video Streaming Platforms like Netflix and Amazon Prime Video arrived, there was one show that came on TV and that show got me and I was hooked that I can't afford to miss any single episode of this series!! At that time, I was 14 years old watching Nick Jr. (It might sound funny, but the main thing started there)!! I started watching with curiosity, and it turned out to be the great show I can watch!! Peter Rabbit, which came out in 2012, based on the namesake book by Beatrix Potter, had so much thrills and fun and excitement, that I thought, it's my new favorite show after Oswald, I can watch!! The series revolved around Peter Rabbit, a young, mischievous and smart rabbit, who hops on to the adventures in his woods with his adventure-mates and friends, Benjamin Bunny and Lily Bobtail, for exploring something they think, they can achieve!! But they have to face some enemies, who wants to do bad things around them, like Mr. Tod, that fox who wants to eat them, Tommy Brock the Badger, Old Brown the Owl and most dangerous one, Mr. McGregor!! There were also Sammy Whiskers, that sneaky rat, who wants nothing but giving trouble to the main 3 protagonist rabbits!! But All-in-all, the best thing were when Peter uses his late good ol' dad's journal to solve things and whenever Peter and his friends are in trouble, he used to say his father's catchphrase, "A Good Rabbit Never Gives Up!!" And that catchphrase gives me a vocal tonic to not give up no matter what's the situation!! Just Wow!! But sadly, it would've end a great way, but it was canceled after a couple of seasons, making no bidding farewells whatsoever!!
Years Passed, and I was waiting for another show to be on that same enthusiasm and same greatness as I got in Oswald and Peter Rabbit!! But in 2020's decade, yup, the COVID-19 Pandemic happened!! The world was locked down!! Everyone were watching the content they used to watch in their childhood, whether it's on TV or on Streaming Platforms!! A new content before pandemic were consumed on the Streaming Platforms like Netflix and Prime Video as BINGE-WATCHING became the new norm!! There was Streaming war happened when Disney+ arrived during Pandemic, And all that!! But in 2021, something big happened!! The Beginning Year of Paramount+ in the USA!! And at same year, I have access to Paramount+ (US one), to watch Oswald, Peter Rabbit and other stuff as well!! But in October, a new show arrived and that show is now currently my Favorite show that I have to wait every week for new episode to drop in the afternoon!! And surprisingly, it's not a Preschool show, it's a Nickelodeon produced, Paramount+ original, that I think it is the equivalent to Nick's favorite show by the critics back in the 2000's, which was Avatar: The Last Airbender, of course!! But this isn't Avatar: The Last Airbender!! It is, none other than, from A famous and oldest Sci-fi franchise!! Yup, I'm talking about Star Trek: Prodigy

At first glance, I was never a Star Trek Fan in the first place!! And I wasn't a nerdy Sci-fi fan whatsoever!! But I saw some promos of it running on Nick US!! And it was a Paramount+ original!! I watched Star Wars: Visions Anime on Disney+ back then, it was good on its own!! But I headed onto Paramount+ and Star Trek: Prodigy was on the banner of the home screen!! That's why I thought it would be a hit or miss, but I thought it's worth a try!! And it turned out to be really good!! Yeah, agreed, at first, it was a bit of Star Wars-esque, and some animation resembling like Star Wars: The Clone Wars, which I used to watch in my Childhood, but stopped it early out of interest, anyhow!! The show is likely a sequel to the Star Trek series "Voyager", as per the fans of the esteemed franchise say, because it has Kate Mulgrew reprising her role as Kathryn Janeway, the Captain of USS Voyager and main character in "Star Trek: Voyager" Series!! Again I say, I hadn't watched any Star Trek series or movies until I discovered Prodigy in the first place, so I was new to this Sci-fi franchise!!
At first glance, the series premiere episode was good, per se, but others who are Star Trek fans in general, not all of them, but some of them saying and complaining that this is a cheap knock-off of Star Wars and it's an insult to Star Trek (I'll get to them later on), and people are giving negative reviews around it!! But I think, I would continue on, because the negative reviewers were about to quit the show without continuing any further!! After Episode no. 4, I was hooked, because it was serialized!! And when suddenly after Episode no. 6, some negative reviewers were coming back and continuing further!! And I think it was a game changer by the time episode 8 came out!! And for characters, I loved the main characters in Star Trek: Prodigy, which made a great sense to the show itself!! When most of the popular animated series lacked of character development and story arc, Star Trek: Prodigy gained them by using and executing at proper times!! Like Dal R'El, for example!! At first, fans were annoyed around Dal's character in first few episodes, but after Episode no. 6 or 7 onwards, the complaints were gone, and now he is acclaimed as suitable captain of USS Protostar!! Same for Gwyndala aka. Gwyn!! At first, I thought she would do something worst to Dal and his crew, but in episode 5, she changed her mind and she was wrong about Dal and his crew!! And same for Rok-Tahk, the brikar!! And everyone, including the main antagonist, Gwyn's Father, the Diviner!! Great Redemption Arc by the way at the end of season 1!! For USS Protostar's Hologram Janeway and Vice Admiral Janeway of USS Dauntless, voiced by Kate Mulgrew herself, is an icing on the cake!! Throughout Season 1 spanned from late 2021 to end of 2022, I had no problems around this series, making it the best animated series on the Post-COVID era and my another favorite show, except for one, that it's not even creating a big trendsetting buzz, which I think it should deserve that, among Animation Fans, which is a shame!! I'm not talking about those Animation Fans who watched previous Star Trek series or being a Star Trek Fan!! Animation fans should watch this series regardless of being A Star Trek fan or not!! Because, you've got great Animation, Visuals, great set of characters, New and reprising, great set of Voice Actors like Brett Gray (Dal R'El), Ella Purnell (Gwyn), Rylee Alazraqui (Rok-Tahk), Jason Mantzoukas (Jankom Pog), Dee Bradley Baker (Murf) etc. And Great Plot, Character Arc and Redemption Arc , with great designs, giving lessons and values of Starfleet and everything they boldly gone (No Pun intended)!! But Nickelodeon and Paramount+ should've promoted more of it!! I know, second season is coming later this year!! But they should not cancel way too early like what they did to Oswald and Peter Rabbit!! It feels like they're underrated for some reason or other!!
But Why Am I talking these to you?? Because, in the likes of Popularity of a series, we're missing out some gems, which should've been the trendsetting phenomenon in the first place!! All of these are just examples!!
All of them are my favorites and these shows are wonderful on their own!! But, the problem lies when Animation Fans neglect them for nothing!! No disrespect intended, but Star Trek: Prodigy should've been a buzz around animation fandom on a global scale, regardless of being a Star Trek fan or not!! Same would go for Oswald and Peter Rabbit for great classic storytelling!! It's the Animation Audience's fault for not creating a buzz around them!!
I want to ask a question to everyone who loves Animation, who lives in Animation:
Why don't you support such deserving Gem-like series?? If you give that much attention to Miraculous Ladybug, then why don't you give the same amount of attention or more to those Animated Series, which deserve to get Recognition and Love with some media Buzz??

Recently I've started to try and study a lot of the artwork for Guilty Gear, particularly the artwork by Daisuke. I was reading your translation of the notes in the XX artbook and I realized that on a lot of the artwork I really liked, Daisuke mentioned mistakes he made. I found this odd since, again, most of them I thought were absolute masterpieces.
I know that people always say "You're your own worst critic", especially to artists, but I guess that it never really set in until I was reading those.
I get nobody's art is perfect (Daisuke is no exception, there are pieces in the artbook that even I could see were rather flawed), but the fact that I am staring in aw at some artwork and I then read that the creator of it was upset that the perspective was all off feels insane. Kinda makes me think about how I critique my own art when I have so many people in my life who think I'm an amazing artist.
I know this is gonna sound stupid and corny but I wanted to get this out of my head since it's been in there for at least a week or two now. Probably didn't word this the best since it's getting a bit late since I decided to stay up to listen to the new (and by new I mean two years old) Red Hot Chili Peppers album while drawing and I thought of this again.
Also thanks for translating the art book. Although the artwork by itself is still great, the comments (as I have stated) were really insightful for me personally. You really are a rad guy, at least in my eyes.
When I first translated Artworks of GGX 2000-2007, I thought Daisuke's harshness towards his art was possibly a Japanese cultural thing, since it's not uncommon for creators in Japan to kind of talk down their own accomplishments ("kenkyo"; [1] [2]). But then I got a bit better at Japanese and read commentary and autobiographical works by other artists—Hirohiko Araki, Kentarou Miura, and Ryoko Kui [3]—and they're much more positive about their creations. They're still humble about it, as any professional generally is, but they certainly aren't as critical as Daisuke is in Artworks 2007. It's definitely odd.
Artworks 2007 is an updated/expanded reprint of an edition that came out 3 years earlier, Artworks of GGX 2000-2004, so a little over half of the captions in Artworks 2007 were written between 2000 and 2004. If it wasn't kenkyo that made Daisuke critical about his art, then, I thought, maybe all the work he had on his plate leading up to the Sammy-Sega merger, which threatened the Guilty Gear IP as a whole[4], had him in kind of a depressive/hyper-critical mindset? That still feels like it could be plausible; his more recent (>2010) commentary is a lot kinder.
It is reassuring knowing that even incredibly skilled artists like Daisuke can still fall into being mean about their own art. Some things never change haha Here's hoping, like Daisuke, we all crawl out of that hyper-critical borderline self-loathing art pit 💪

El negocio del entretenimiento ha seguido creciendo capturando las necesidades de los clientes en mitad de unas condiciones de mercado adversas.
En primer lugar, nos gustaría conocer el estado general del negocio de contenidos de entretenimiento del SEGA SAMMY Group durante el año fiscal 2022.
Sugino: En 2022, experimentamos una disminución en la demanda de contenido doméstico, junto con factores negativos como la desaceleración de la economía estadounidense, el aumento de precios de recursos y las paradas de transporte. A pesar de estos obstáculos, el contenido de entretenimiento sigue siendo esencial para nuestro público, y creo que se refleja en nuestro rendimiento.
Por favor, comparta los aspectos más destacados del año fiscal 2022.
Sugino: Sin lugar a dudas, destaca Sonic Frontiers. Bajo la dirección de Shuji Utsumi (Director Representante y Co-COO de Sega), llevamos a cabo diversos proyectos para expandir la franquicia de Sonic. En abril del año pasado, lanzamos la película "Sonic the Hedgehog 2" en América del Norte, que tuvo un excelente comienzo y se convirtió en un éxito mundial con ingresos de taquilla que superaron los 57 mil millones de yenes. Aprovechando ese impulso, lanzamos Sonic Frontiers y logramos superar nuestras proyecciones de ventas iniciales. Eso por sí sólo fue gratificante, y también nos alegramos de ver comentarios positivos de los usuarios, especialmente en América del Norte, expresando su alegría de que Sonic está avanzando en la dirección correcta.
La IP de Sonic está creciendo y los usuarios también están contentos con eso.
Sugino: En otros títulos, "Ryu Ga Gotoku Ishin!" se mejoró aún más desde su plan inicial y se convirtió en un éxito a nivel global. En el ámbito de los juegos móviles, creo que "Project Sekai: Colorful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku" (llamado de aquí en adelante PROSEKA) también ha tenido un gran avance.
Con la disminución del mercado doméstico, ¿cómo ha ido el sector de los salones recreativos?
Sugino: Con el aumento gradual de personas saliendo de casa, hemos visto un crecimiento en los ingresos comparado a antes de la pandemia, incluido el negocio de los dardos.
Así que los usuarios están regresando poco a poco.
Sugino: Sí. No solo los clientes anteriores a la pandemia, sino también nuevos clientes nos están visitando. Además, hubo una gran demanda de actividades relacionadas con los Idols y el Oshikatsu. Durante el período en el que era difícil salir, las personas que participaban en actividades relacionadas con sus Idols visitaban los salones recreativos y disfrutaban de los UFO Catchers y las cabinas de fotos Purikura, y también había personas que utilizaban los salones recreativos como lugar de interacción entre los fans, dependiendo de la IP. Creo que estos factores, junto con otros, han llevado a una situación en la que la demanda ha superado la del período anterior a la pandemia.
Desde su punto de vista ¿Está progresando bien el negocio del entretenimiento en general?
Sugino: Sí, creo que el negocio en general está progresando bien. Por ejemplo, en el negocio de consolas, el número de usuarios está creciendo a nivel global. Durante estos últimos tres años desde la pandemia, hemos visto un incremento en personas que juegan títulos de SEGA diciendo “Hace mucho que no juego a videojuegos, y si me pongo con uno después de tanto tiempo”. Esto lleva a compras adicionales de otros títulos y series, lo que creemos que ha fortalecido mucho nuestro negocio base.
¿Y qué hay del sector audiovisual?
Sugino: A lo largo del período del confinamiento, los servicios de suscripción como Netflix se han vuelto aún más populares y ahora se puede ver anime japonés, incluidos títulos antiguos, en todo el mundo. Esto se puede ver claramente en los datos de TMS Entertainment. Por otro lado, creo que con el fin de la pandemia, también ha habido un aumento en las personas que van al cine. Aunque no es en el último período, la película "Detective Conan: The Scarlet Bullet" estrenada en abril de este año ha superado los 12 mil millones de yenes en taquilla, estableciendo un récord para la serie. En cuanto a la expansión global, ¿cómo se enfoca el mercado japonés?
Sugino: En el negocio de juegos físicos en el sector de consolas, actualmente las ventas en el extranjero representan más del 80% del total. Sin embargo, eso no significa que no valoremos a Japón. Los clientes japoneses no solo compran juegos, sino que también participan en conciertos en vivo, compran merchandise y disfrutan de diversas formas de entretenimiento. Además, el hecho de que Yakuza/Like A Dragon y Persona estén comenzando a tener éxito en el extranjero se debe a que los usuarios japoneses reconocieron su valor desde el principio. En ese sentido, Japón es un mercado importante y considero que es fundamental crear obras que sean interesantes para el público japonés.
Entonces, no se centran únicamente en el mercado extranjero, ¿verdad? ¿Tampoco se centran exclusivamente en Japón?
Sugino: Lo que somos conscientes es de valorar por igual a los usuarios de todo el mundo. Si bien es cierto que ajustamos los videos promocionales según las preferencias regionales, el objetivo es crear juegos que satisfagan a todas las personas en el mundo. En el pasado, a veces nos enfocamos demasiado en el mercado extranjero o nos centramos únicamente en el mercado japonés, pero ahora estamos produciendo juegos teniendo en cuenta a los usuarios de todo el mundo, y hemos adquirido la capacidad para hacerlo.
Beneficios de la expansión del mercado de PC y las ventas digitales
En Japón, la demanda de juegos para PC está aumentando año tras año…
Sugino: Sega siempre ha tenido muchos estudios de desarrollo en Europa, por lo que hemos estado en el top 10 de ventas en Steam durante mucho tiempo. Después de mucho tiempo involucrados en el mercado de juegos para PC, finalmente ha comenzado a expandirse de manera significativa en Japón y en la región de Asia, y ahora estamos abordando de manera más activa.
Con la popularidad de los PC, las ventas digitales también han aumentado mucho más. Siento que la vida útil de los títulos de juegos también se ha prolongado.
Sugino: Como alguien que desarrolla juegos, ¿no es el propósito de nuestra industria lograr que la mayor cantidad de personas posible jueguen nuestros juegos? En ese sentido, es sinceramente gratificante ver que los juegos que hemos creado permanecen en las estanterías durante mucho tiempo.
En cuanto a las versiones de descarga, creo que las ventas en los descuentos y ofertas tienen un peso bastante significativo. ¿Qué importancia tienen?
Sugino: Por supuesto valoramos las ventas, pero además, consideramos que es importante tener en cuenta que a muchas personas les resulta difícil comprar un título que no han probado antes, y las ofertas brindan la oportunidad de probarlo y, si les gusta, pueden continuar con otros títulos de la serie.
También creo que el marketing digital que se adapta a las características y preferencias de los usuarios puede ser gratificante.
Sugino: Creo que es maravilloso poder proporcionar información relevante a los usuarios de manera oportuna. Háblenos de los esfuerzos actuales y los planes futuros en el sector móvil para llevar títulos seleccionados al mercado global.
Sugino: Creemos que donde haya una pantalla, es nuestro terreno, y por supuesto no podemos negar el amplio uso de los teléfonos inteligentes como monitores. Sin embargo, en la actualidad, el mercado se ha vuelto más difícil debido a la fuerte competencia y los altos costos de desarrollo.
Es cada vez más difícil lanzar varios títulos al año, ¿verdad?
Sugino: Estamos pensando en reducir el número de títulos y, a cambio, expandir adecuadamente cada uno de ellos. En títulos actuales, continuaremos el desarrollo de Project Sekai después de escuchar las opiniones de los usuarios y combinarlos con eventos en la vida real. 404 GAME RE:SET ha comenzado ligeramente inferior a nuestras expectativas, pero hemos recibido muchos comentarios de quienes lo están jugando, por lo que implementaremos varias medidas para atraer a más usuarios. Por otro lado, en el caso de los juegos online, PSO2: New Genesis recibió una gran actualización en junio y ha tenido un cambio de dirección significativo.Hemos incorporado mecánicas de crafting, así que estamos muy emocionados por conocer las opiniones de los usuarios.
Estoy deseando ver qué depara el futuro para todos estos títulos
Sugino: Además, este año los títulos clásicos Puyo Puyo Quest, SegaNet Mahjong MJ y Chain Chronicle celebran su décimo aniversario de servicio. Todos ellos son títulos que se lanzaron cuando era el director del departamento de desarrollo, anticipando una mayor expansión del mercado de juegos para teléfonos inteligentes en el futuro.
Es conmovedor que hayan estado funcionando durante 10 años. Por cierto, recientemente se anunció la adquisición de Rovio Entertainment, conocida por "Angry Birds". ¿Fue debido al deseo de llevar juegos para teléfonos inteligentes al extranjero?
Sugino: Como mencioné antes, las ventas de unidades físicas representan más del 80% en el extranjero, pero en el negocio móvil, las ventas nacionales representan casi el 90%, lo que es una situación inversa. Por lo tanto, tenemos la intención de asociarnos con Rovio Entertainment para llevar los títulos de SEGA a nivel global. Sugino: Exactamente. Nuestro objetivo principal es llevar nuestros juegos a todo el mundo. Al igual que cuando se decía que “SEGA no era fuerte en RPG”, que llevó a la decisión de traer a Atlus a nuestro grupo, ahora esperamos colaborar con Rovio considerando la debilidad en el territorio móvil en el extranjero. Iniciativas para los mercados emergentes del sudeste asiático
El sudeste asiático, así como el Medio Oriente y América Latina, se han convertido en mercados emergentes de interés. ¿Cómo están abordando estas regiones?
Sugino: El sudeste asiático es un mercado al que Sega está prestando mucha atención. Consideramos la necesidad de desplegar estrategias de marketing adaptadas al entorno local y establecimos una oficina en Singapur el año pasado.
Además, hemos participado en exposiciones de juegos en países como Tailandia y Filipinas, donde no habíamos tenido presencia antes, lo que nos ha permitido recopilar información sobre el mercado local de juegos y establecer contactos.
¿Cuál es su impresión del mercado de juegos en el sudeste asiático?
Sugino: Tailandia ha tenido una gran pasión por los juegos desde hace tiempo, y el aumento de los ingresos disponibles para el entretenimiento ha contribuido al gradual arraigo a la cultura de los videojuegos.
Sin embargo, las consolas siguen siendo costosas y representan una barrera de entrada, y en algunos países, el porcentaje de uso de tarjetas de crédito es de alrededor del 2%, lo que también plantea un desafío en términos de estructurar los mecanismos de monetización en los juegos móviles. Sin embargo, estos aspectos se están resolviendo en parte gracias a los avances en tecnología financiera en los últimos años, por lo que creo que este mercado se volverá muy interesante en el futuro.
Tiene un gran potencial de crecimiento.
Sugino: Además, está la localización. Si bien hemos llevado a cabo la localización al idioma tailandés en algunos títulos de Sega, todavía no hemos hecho mucho en ese aspecto. Consideraremos si hacer nuevos lanzamientos, remakes o reboots para cada IP
Pronto se lanzará el último título de Samba de Amigo, pero ¿hay planes de continuar con relanzamientos de antiguas IPs en el futuro?
Sugino: "Samba de Amigo: Party Central" no lo considero un reboot, sino una nueva entrega dentro de la serie. Por otro lado, aunque "Sonic Superstars", que se anunció recientemente, es un nuevo juego que regresa a la acción en 2D, también nos gustaría llevar a cabo medidas propias de reboots.
Sonic Frontiers fue un nuevo desafío en la serie Sonic, pero Sonic Superstars parece un reboot.
Sugino: Si bien es importante explorar cosas nuevas, no es lo mismo para todas las IPs, tanto para nuevos títulos como para reboots. Consideramos cuál es la mejor opción para cada IP mientras estamos desarrollando. Sonic es una propiedad emblemática de SEGA, y adem��s de nuevos títulos en paralelo consideramos reboots y remakes.
El lanzamiento de Mega Drive Mini 2 el año pasado fue bien recibido, ¿se está considerando revivir Sega Saturn en un futuro?
Sugino: Creo que el lanzamiento de hardware retro es posible cuando tanto el entorno interno como el externo se alinean de manera milagrosa. Sega Saturn es sorprendentemente poderoso, por lo que va a ser difícil hacer una versión mini. No creo que sea asunto de “Las ventas son muy buenas, vamos a hacer otra cosa”. Puede que pase un tiempo hasta que podamos, pero nos gustaría considerarlo cuando estemos en el momento  adecuado cuando podamos afrontar esa producción junto a las personas que siempre les ha gustado la SEGA Saturn y Dreamcast. Supongo que el personal está investigando las posibilidades técnicas al respecto.
Cuando llegue el momento, puede que haya algo. Eso me emociona. Por cierto, en cuanto a los juegos de arcade, ¿tienen planes de lanzar nuevas entregas de títulos como Eiketsu Taisen y Initial D THE ARCADE que están actualmente en funcionamiento?
Sugino: Eiketsu Taisen y Initial D THE ARCADE reciben actualizaciones periódicas. Ultimamente, juegos de ritmo como maimai y Initial D THE ARCADE han ganado una enorme popularidad en Asia, especialmente en China. Estos títulos son muy apreciados en diversas áreas, por lo que queremos continuar brindando servicio a los juegos existentes.
Por otro lado, la creación de nuevas IP y la creación de juegos exitosos es una tarea difícil. Además, aunque no queremos pensar en ello, existe la posibilidad de que volvamos a tener que cerrar las tiendas debido a la situación futura de la propagación del coronavirus. A pesar de estas circunstancias, seguiremos considerando planes que puedan superar esa situación y trascenderla en el futuro.
La importancia de crear un entorno adecuado para los deportes electrónicos, donde se pueda participar y disfrutar 
Sega está lanzando títulos como Virtua Fighter eSports y Puyo Puyo eSports, ¿qué opinas sobre la creación de títulos adecuados para los eSports?
Sugino: Básicamente, nuestra premisa es crear juegos divertidos que muchas personas puedan jugar. Si resulta que esos títulos son adecuados para los deportes electrónicos en términos de competitividad, creo que deberíamos desarrollarlos en ese ámbito. No creo que sea posible para una compañía de videojuegos decir desde el principio: 'Vamos a crear un juego que sea jugado por 10 millones de personas como eSports'.
Es decir, la base es crear juegos divertidos.
Sugino: Correcto. Sin embargo, creo que seguirán surgiendo títulos que contribuyan a los eSports de varias compañías en el futuro. Es importante crear un entorno en el que se pueda jugar y ver estos juegos de manera seria, y donde se puedan realizar comentarios en vivo. Creo que es un esfuerzo que deberíamos hacer a nivel de la industria a nivel global. Para ello, es importante crear un entorno en el que los espectadores puedan identificarse emocionalmente.
Por ejemplo, cuando ves un deporte, hay una diferencia en cuanto a la implicación emocional entre simplemente disfrutar del deporte en sí mismo y apoyar a un equipo en particular. Sugino: Permíteme compartir un ejemplo reciente. En la categoría Puyo Puyo del Campeonato Nacional de eSports 2022 de las Prefecturas de Japón en Tochigi, hubo un enfrentamiento entre un niño de 8 años y un estudiante de sexto año de primaria. Aunque el niño de 8 años era joven, jugaba seriamente con una expresión que recordaba a la de un atleta profesional, pero al final perdió. Lo que más me impactó fue ver cómo, después de que terminara el juego, se inclinaba correctamente y luego volvía la cabeza y lloraba de frustración.
A través de esas experiencias, crecerán como futuros jugadores.
Sugino: Creo que las lágrimas brotaron porque se había esforzado seriamente y había luchado contra alguien mejor que él. Espero que sea una experiencia valiosa en su vida, y esto fue posible gracias al marco de los eSports donde se puede tomar en serio.
La importancia de llevar juegos a un gran número de personas y cómo eso se relaciona con la satisfacción del staff
En la industria de los videojuegos, siempre hay escasez de personal de desarrollo y a menudo es difícil reclutar nuevos empleados. Sin embargo, tengo la impresión de que Sega se enfoca en crear un entorno laboral favorable para sus empleados. ¿Cuál ha sido su respuesta hasta ahora?
Sugino: En Sega, llevamos a cabo encuestas anuales de satisfacción del personal y el año pasado, la empresa encargada de realizar la encuesta nos dijo: 'Rara vez vemos una mejora en la satisfacción tan notable como en su empresa'. En ese sentido, creo que la motivación interna en general ha aumentado.
Esto se debe, por supuesto, a la importancia de los salarios y las condiciones laborales, pero personalmente creo que la satisfacción se debe a que podemos llegar a tantas personas como sea posible con los juegos que creamos. Además, cuando los resultados de la empresa mejoran, es porque finalmente hemos logrado que muchos jugadores se involucren con nuestros juegos.
¿Tiene suficiente personal de desarrollo?
Sugino: Tenemos alrededor de 2,000 personas en Japón y alrededor de 1,500 personas en el extranjero en nuestro personal de desarrollo. Sin embargo, sigue sin ser suficiente. El año pasado, creamos el estudio de Sega en Sapporo y muchas personas se unieron a nosotros. Estamos avanzando en la expansión del estudio, pero también debemos considerar qué haremos después, ya que seguramente se llene rápidamente. También tenemos estudios de desarrollo en el extranjero, principalmente en Londres, Canadá, Sofía (Bulgaria) y París (Francia), y estamos considerando cómo colaborar con ellos.
En el futuro, la cuestión de cuánto debe aumentar el personal seguramente será un problema.
Sugino: En cuanto a la contratación de nuevos graduados, este año hemos recibido muchas solicitudes... Esto es algo que también discuto mucho con los presidentes de otras compañías de juegos, pero debemos aumentar la cantidad de jóvenes que deseen unirse a la industria de los videojuegos. Aunque en el ranking de ocupaciones deseadas para los niños de primaria y secundaria, la industria de los videojuegos ocupa los primeros lugares, me pregunto a dónde se dirigen esas aspiraciones a medida que crecen (risas).
Como tema de la industria, es importante despertar el interés de los jóvenes estudiantes en la industria de los videojuegos. Supongo que Sega ha implementado mejoras en el salario base (introducido a partir de julio de 2023) para ello.
Sugino: Hubo mucha atención en cuanto al salario inicial para los graduados universitarios es de 300,000 yenes, pero lo que me gustaría que todos vean es el programa llamado 'Family Support Plus'. Hemos preparado 10 programas de apoyo relacionados con la crianza y 6 programas de apoyo relacionados con el cuidado. Por ejemplo, el 'Programa de trabajo a tiempo parcial para padres' garantiza un salario equivalente al de tiempo completo hasta que el niño cumpla los 3 años, incluso si el empleado trabaja a tiempo parcial. Al garantizar un salario equivalente al de tiempo completo aun si las horas de trabajo disminuyen, estamos apoyando no solo el aspecto salarial, que es una preocupación al elegir el trabajo a tiempo parcial, sino también brindando seguridad mientras los empleados disfrutan del tiempo con sus hijos. Respecto al 'Apoyo para la criopreservación de óvulos', aunque aún no es algo muy común, personalmente, tuve hijos tarde y muchos de mis amigos también han tenido problemas para tener hijos. Por lo tanto, no solo brindamos apoyo financiero, sino que también queremos que se conozca la existencia de la criopreservación de óvulos y que las personas elijan vivir su vida de la manera que les parezca mejor.
Por supuesto, además de la crianza, el cuidado de personas mayores también es un problema que los empleados enfrentarán a medida que envejecen.
Sugino: Al introducir este programa de apoyo, he escuchado a muchas personas y se me ha dicho que el problema del cuidado no se trata solo de dinero. Creo que el hecho de que las circunstancias varíen según la persona, como tener problemas en las piernas o dificultades para escuchar, es el problema principal. Por lo tanto, comenzamos estableciendo un centro de consulta sobre el cuidado. Además de mejorar el entorno y los sistemas para el staff, ¿hay algo en lo que le gustaría trabajar en el futuro o algún desafío que considere?
Sugino: La calidad de los estudios de Sega, tanto en Japón como en el extranjero, ha estado mejorando y los costos de desarrollo han aumentado. Me preocupa a dónde se dirigirá el desarrollo de juegos en el futuro.
Creo que cuando llegue la próxima generación de hardware, será común tener títulos con un presupuesto de desarrollo de alrededor de 10,000 millones de yenes. Sin embargo, al mismo tiempo, también es posible que se desarrolle una tendencia de hacer títulos que se puedan hacer con alrededor de 100 millones de yenes, pero cada vez será más difícil crear algo mediocre.
Como mencioné anteriormente, es importante expandirse globalmente y crear juegos que sean reconocidos a nivel mundial. Aunque ya hemos visto un aumento en el número de personas con experiencia en el extranjero dentro de nuestros equipos de desarrollo en Japón, todavía necesitamos aumentarlo más. Aunque existen desafíos como los efectos del tipo de cambio en la contratación de personal en el extranjero, continuaremos promoviendo su contratación.
En cuanto a cómo desarrollaremos los títulos que lanzaremos en el futuro y qué tipo de equipos y enfoque utilizaremos, no podemos simplemente seguir haciendo las cosas de la misma manera. Por lo tanto, creemos que es necesario explorar diferentes enfoques y tomar diversas medidas.
Cómo colaborar con la empresa de producción de videos del grupo SEGA SAMMY
He oído que TMS Entertainment también ha aumentado los salarios base. A pesar de eso, parece que la industria del anime enfrenta el desafío de tener una posición más baja para los creadores en comparación con la industria de los videojuegos y de luchar por generar beneficios. TMS Entertainment pertenece al grupo SEGA SAMMY, así que creo que sería beneficioso si colaboran más con SEGA y desarrollan contenidos que abarquen tanto los juegos como el anime. ¿Qué opinas al respecto?
Sugino: En términos lógicos, también pienso eso. Sin embargo, esto se relaciona con la creación de títulos para eSports que mencioné anteriormente, donde cambiar el marco (de creación) dificulta la creación de algo realmente bueno. Hasta ahora, no hemos visto resultados exitosos cuando decimos 'Vamos a desarrollar un proyecto que sea exitoso y disfrutable tanto en el anime como en los juegos'. Incluso con IPs que han tenido éxito en una expansión multidimensional, debe haber un campo líder que lo guíe.
Si pensamos que un anime puede aprovechar las fortalezas de SEGA y Atlus, entonces lo hacemos. Por otro lado, si pensamos que otras compañías podrían hacerlo mejor en este campo del anime, entonces les pedimos que lo hagan.
Por ejemplo, cuando se trata de presentar propuestas para servicios de suscripción, es difícil que compren un anime original de IP creado en colaboración entre TMS Entertainment y SEGA. Por lo tanto, es más probable que nos centremos en obras que tengan una obra original, y si se trata de convertir esa obra en un juego, es más probable que otras compañías que no sean SEGA se encarguen de ello.
No obstante, hemos estado colaborando más estrechamente con TMS Entertainment y, desde abril, Marza Animation Planet (una compañía de animación en 3D perteneciente al grupo SEGA SAMMY) se ha convertido en una subsidiaria directa de SEGA bajo mi jurisdicción. Sugino: Gracias a vuestro apoyo, pudimos hacer muchos anuncios en junio (risas). Primero, mencioné Sonic Superstars. Cuando la gente de la industria lo ve, siempre escuchamos expresiones de asombro. Tiene muchos elementos nuevos en la jugabilidad y se puede disfrutar en multijugador, así que esperamos que os guste.
También se revelaron nuevas noticias sobre la serie Yakuza/Like a Dragon.
Sugino: La verdad es que el avance de Like a Dragon 8 es bastante divertido, como habéis podido ver. A partir de ahí, esperamos que suban vuestras expectaciones y esperéis por lo nuevo que está por venir. Antes, Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name iba a ser originalmente un contenido descargable de menor tamaño, pero a medida que avanzaba el desarrollo, se fue volviendo cada vez más grande y se convirtió en un juego completamente nuevo. Esperamos que los fans disfruten de este título como un puente entre el 7 y el 8. Los fans de Atlus debieron de estar muy sorprendidos por el número de títulos nuevos en la serie.
No se esperaba que hubiera tres juegos, los fans se han sorprendido.
Sugino: Metaphor: ReFantazio es una obra completamente nueva. Sugino: Persona 5 Tactica es un juego en el que uno se puede sumergir mucho. Y cuando se hizo el cambio de Persona 2 a Persona 3, muchos sintieron que Persona había cambiado. Estamos desarrollando Persona 3 Reloaded para no traicionar esos recuerdos de todos. Aunque es un remake, lo hemos estado desarrollando durante el tiempo que llevaría un RPG totalmente nuevo. Me gustaría que aquellos que lo jugaron en su momento y los que no lo han jugado aún lo disfruten.
¿Qué hay de los títulos extranjeros? El año pasado, el juego de WB Games Hogwarts Legacy publicado por Sega fue muy popular en Japón.
Sugino: Tenemos una buena relación de trabajo con Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. Se planea lanzar pronto la versión para Nintendo Switch de Hogwarts Legacy y seguiremos promocionando. También tenemos el próximo juego Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, así que nos concentramos en eso. Además, planeamos lanzar nuevos títulos de los estudios de desarrollo europeos de Sega en Japón. Hasta ahora, ha habido varias restricciones y dificultades para lanzarlos en Japón, pero en el futuro, nos gustaría expandir los títulos que hemos creado a nivel global tanto como sea posible. SEGA Sammy Holdings subsidiary SEGA Corporation will acquire Finnish mobile games company Rovio Entertainment for €706 million (approx. $773.8 million). The acquisition is expected to close in the second quarter of fiscal year 2024/3, and is contingent on the completion of reviews under applicable antitrust laws and other customary conditions.

■ 1. Background and purpose of the Acquisition
(1) Positioning of the Consumer business for the Company
The Company positions the Consumer segment of its Entertainment Contents Business as a growth area under its Mid-Term Plan (FY2022/3-FY2024/3), and has accelerated its efforts to strengthen the business through initiatives such as converting existing IPs into global brands, strengthening user engagement through multi-platform support and enhanced media mix, etc.
As a part of its growth strategy to invest up to ¥250 billion during the five-year period ending FY2026/3, the Company has been exploring investment opportunities in the Consumer area to strengthen its development capabilities as well as to create new ecosystems.
In order to strengthen global development capabilities, SEGA has historically acquired numerous development studios, from the UK-based The Creative Assembly Ltd. in 2005, to the Japan-based ATLUS. CO., LTD. (formerly, Index Corporation) in 2013, and the acquired studios have all greatly expanded its scale while also releasing many new titles across the globe.
(2) Background of the Acquisition
The size of the global gaming market is projected to reach US$263.3 billion by 2026, growing at a CAGR of 3.5% from 2022 to 2026. The mobile gaming market in particular, is set to grow at a CAGR of 5.0% to represent 56% of the global gaming market overall, an increase from 53% in 2022. (Source: IDG Report (dated October, 2022)).
The Company firmly believes that it is imperative to continue investing in its game development and operating capabilities, in order to further strengthen its position in this fast-growing mobile and global gaming market, which therefore led to the decision to acquire Rovio.
Through the Acquisition, the Company aims to take-in Rovio’s live-operated mobile game development capabilities and expertise in mobile game operation, to accelerate the development of mobile-compatible and multi-platform-supported version of SEGA’s existing game IPs, thereby strengthening and further accelerating global expansion of SEGA’s game portfolio.
(3) Purpose of the Acquisition
Rovio is a global mobile-first, games company that creates, develops and publishes mobile games, which have been downloaded over five billion times. Rovio is best known for the global Angry Birds brand, which started as a popular mobile game in 2009, and has since evolved from games to various entertainment, anime, and consumer products through brand licensing.
SEGA aims to accelerate its growth in the global gaming market and increase its corporate value by generating synergies between SEGA’s existing businesses and Rovio’s strengths, including its global IPs and live-operated mobile game development capabilities. More specifically, SEGA aims to create synergies with particular focus in the following areas:
Utilization of Rovio’s distinctive know-how in live service mobile game operation, to bring SEGA’s current and new titles to the global mobile gaming market, where there is large potential, and many users can be accessed.
**SEGA strongly believes Rovio’s platform, Beacon, holds 20 years of high-level expertise in live service-mobile game operation centered around the United States and Europe.
Rapid expansion of both companies’ fanbase by sharing know-how regarding multi-media expansion of global characters.
**Rovio and SEGA have both succeeded in extending its IPs, Angry Birds and Sonic the Hedgehog, to various media outside of video games, such as movies, anime, and merchandising, and accordingly hold a strong fanbase around the world as well as know-how regarding IP expansion.

An introduction to Freddy & Friends: Legacy
Freddy & Friends is an AU created by Roux36 Productions set in the Five Nights at Freddy’s IP.
As opposed to focusing on a single “what if?” question for the AU, F&F is a rewrite of the FNAF story in its entirety, constructed from the ground-up to tell a more realistic, character-driven take on the original story, initially intended to be an animated series.
This version of the AU is no longer being worked on. The current version of the AU is called "In Loving Memory", a Five Nights at Freddy's analog horror series with a vastly different story.

How much thought did you put into this?
It’s not that I’m a massive nerd, but it’s just that I’m actually a massive nerd.
Animatronics are loosely grounded in real-world mechanical engineering, giving them plausible designs for them to have existed in the 1980’s (down to the very components that make them function.)
The restaurant itself has regulations and procedures to manage the animatronics during the day (this varies depending on the restaurant).
The restaurant layouts themselves have been redesigned to be more coherent with the rules of architecture.
The animatronic characters themselves have their own lore and personalities within the cartoon world.
I have a full list of employees who worked at both Afton Robotics and Fazbear Entertainment.
The rules of the spirits are grounded in real-world cultural beliefs, as well as typical ghost hunting traditions.
No character is written to be two-dimensional. The characters don’t just do stuff for the plot; they do them because it’s in-character for them to do so. They’re not just ghost children haunting the animatronics. They’re also human.
Note: In regards to In Loving Memory, this section remains mostly unchanged.

Genuinely so interesting, this explains so much of why games from 2005 to 2009 were so... like that, and why in the 2010s (after colors and generations) the games were so... obsessed with Sonic doing no wrong ever. Like, Forces' narrative was so bad because he was written as a good pr tool rather than a decent character.
It's because Sammy wanted to obfuscate its gambling stuff, so it used Sonic's cuteness and wholesomeness to do so. To make the company look better. DEVIOUS!
The main takeaway is that Sega is a COMPANY. A CORPORATE ENTITY. It does not care about you, it cares about capital gain and growth. The only reason it's so loose with Sonic IP is for that growth, and if protecting their IP leads to more money, then, yeah, they're gonna do that.
