My bunch of sonadow fankids!! Except the only one still technically alive is Sony- Woops From left to right, we have Dudley, Vacare, Elegy, Ferox, Pertinax, and then Sonus/Sony!

A little bit of a loredrop for this AU of mine, (as explained briefly in Sony's original post) he comes from ~500 years in the future, made as a lab creation by a descendant of Dr.Eggman called "Ego". Before Sonus, there were 5 others, who didn't survive for one reason or another (I'll definitely make posts in the future explaining the specifics of each of them)

The sort of "code names" under their names are their identification terms; the "PM" in it standing for "Project Martyr", followed by the number they were made in. So Sony was Project Martyr's 6th attempt Project Martyr and "Ego" will definitely get their own post explaining, but for now, here's the Martyrs' designs :D

it kind of bugs me when people say sonics relationships with shadow and knuckles (whether its in a shipping context or in canon) are exactly the same because like . no..?. theyre not ? i mean yeah theres similarities between shadow and knuckles and theyre both rivals to sonic. but they still have different personalities and different dynamics with sonic even if they can both be described as rivalry. i cant properly explain what the difference is because im tired rn and also bad at words but you know

If I had a nickel for every time there was a best friend to the main character (who has saved the world on multiple occasions and is considered a hero) who is basically the hero’s sibling, is a talented mechanic, a bit of a dumbass but it’s okay, is (loosely/heavily) linked to an Asian mythological creature, has access to weapons of mass destruction (specifically in the bomb variety), and is probably autistic, I’d have two nickels, which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice.

Funny how both Sonic and Shadow are "Even if I'm exhausted and broken I'll keep moving forward, and I'll hide it from everyone because they need someone to believe in/ I won't let anyone emotionally close to me" type characters but Shadow is loud about it and Sonic is quiet about it

Yes. Yes I do. Because maybe I want to see myself in characters I enjoy. Maybe I just like the dynamic certain characters have together and think they’d be cute or interesting as a romantic or queerplatonic pairing.

Also the implication that people having headcanons that a certain character is queer “ruined your childhood” is really fucking dumb.

Like if you personally just don’t like seeing a certain character be shipped with other characters, fine, whatever. But when you’re only going after the queer ships involving that character and are perfectly fine with het ships that comes off really fucking gross on your part.
