was thinking abt how anya sleeps by the polle statue. which is motion activated to start talking.

+ i like drawing polle as a Character

#now originally i drew this under the same kind of premise as the animatic i did #in that it Is in reality just a statue but is. subconsciously treated as alive and as it’s cartoon self? if that makes sense #but i was thinking abt what if polle Was alive. a toon put on the tulpar as a shitty morale boosting animal that Isn’t you friend #but i worry this would change too much abt the story. i wouldn’t want to add too much levity/fluff #mouthwashing #the art gallery #polle being a toon instead of a statue kinda cheapens it’s effect probably #like i think it worked In The Little Bit like in the animatic. but not through the whole game #plus also it’d probably really muddy his like. symbolism. of like thr company and the baby #so i do have a couple more doodles but (shrugs worriedly)

I started drawing this next day after I finished Act 6

13 or so days and it's finished!

Main things are traditional and Loop's body was edited digitally after

I've been torn on how to do Loop's body for the entirety of lining, also

A bit sad the main lines are visible only as a wip, most of this thing is literally just a ton of sharp lines

I think it's also my first day of drawing, Loop is just a sketch here (feat. my leg)

I even finished the beans before it so they were a moral support, because if you let me things like this take a year

This one looks calm but this one is clearly you not feeling good'#Because I was kinda #Like sitting there in the semi-park and feeling sick since morning before I started drawing this and slowly I got better #I already talked about this on my first 'big' isat thing - I needed to think a bit #And not think at the same time just literally letting myself sort stuff out #Like. I fell asleep at 6 am that day and woke up at 10 4 hours of sleep after playing full Act 5 and two hats stuff IS STRESSFUL #SUPER STRESSFUL! Like I felt like I was playing for 4 hours while sleeping #Anyway by the time I finished it aka today I'm feeling way better and I'm literally talking a walk right now #Touching grass as we speak #Anyway phew!#Now to that animatic that's plaguing my mind to draw it nowww

every science fiction show that deals with aliens should have at least a few furries in the writers room and design department bc my suspension of disbelief is slowly but surely burning out over people making aliens look like this

#doctor who only kinda gets a pass on the “just a human guy” syndrome but only bc it's like. one of the originators of this whole trend #still though. WHY. we can do better #i am begging every scifi TV executive in the world to hire furry artists to design your aliens. i can guarantee they would COOK #we could've had silurians with little lizard snouts. i saw an animatic where someone drew neelix from ST:V like an anthropomorphic porcupin #and it was GLORIOUS #in that same animatic belanna torres was like a cool creature thing #WE CAN DO BETTER #imagine having cool wolf aliens or something instead of weird racial stereotypes
