They are very shy and uncertain about it. Would you accept their confession or would you decline it? Would you even hear them out?! Their mind is panicking and they're nervous. They get even more nervous when they see you approaching while they fidget with the card they made for you in their hands. It's a very quick and sweet and they're all smiles when you accept!

Straightforward and to the point, they're not going to waste time and honestly they just want to hear your answer so these feelings can stop eating at them every time they see you. It's so annoying that they get these butterflies whenever you laugh or smile! They want to be the one to make you smile like that. And kiss your face if you'd let them...

They're nervous but in a different way. Their nervousness is on the inside rather than showing it on the outside. They're ready for whatever answer you give them and have prepared themselves for rejection. Though, their confession ends up being a little forward because they wanted to beat their anxiety and just say it outright to you rather than beating around the bush. They mean well though!

Very nervous and excited. This time, they're very excited to confess even though they haven't really prepared or thought about rejection. They're just too excited to tell you about their feelings and although rejection does cross their mind while they wait for you to arrive. If you do reject them, oh well! At least you guys can be friends, right? They very excitedly tell you after mentioning they have something to tell you.

A little more reserved with their feelings, they are forward and don't beat around the bush but they are cautious about it. They know rejection is a possibility and they wanted to be completely sure in their feelings for you before even thinking about confessing. Even then they were still a bit iffy when you arrived, thinking of not telling you just yet but, they don't regret it when they do end up confessing and you accept!

it started off simple: ichika being her usual self, complimenting how you looked today. she was always the type of person to praise people for certain aspects, and you always thanked her for it, but today, you wanted to try something different.

"aww, you're such a sweetie, ichika, you know that?"

the tone of your voice had teasing written all over it, which stunned the girl that was standing right before you. she managed to fix her composure after a moment or two, nodding her head and smiling at you.

"ah... thank you, [name]-"

"not to mention pretty."

just like that, ichika was starstruck once more, only this time with a light blush spreading around her cheeks. her gaze darted around the room, stuttering and spamming while avoiding eye contact at all costs.

"oh, did i fluster you?"

"well... i'm..."

... seems like you broke her. perhaps if you tried a more... physical approach, you might just make her melt.

making a girl like airi blush is very worth it. considering her personality, she acts absolutely adorable whenever you successfully fluster her!

but... what if it's the other way around for once?

you had asked airi to help teach you certain dance moves from more more jump songs, and surprisingly, she agreed!

and for today, she decided to teach you how she danced 'romeo and cinderella'!

"then, for this part, we have to get close to each other like this..."

she pointed to her and shizuku in the music video. at the moment, it seemed easy. just some arm movements and looking at each other, right?

"mhm, got it, got it."

wrong. you were a complete mess when you were actually doing it. this whole practice was just supposed to be for fun... and now you're-

there was an awkward silence for a moment, with your face turning redder and redder by the second. eventually, airi spoke again, with an amused tone to her voice.

considering saki was always at the hospital as a child, she never really got to try a few things. and of course, you wanted to show your girlfriend some of your favorites!

there was a brand new ice cream shop that opened, with dozens of flavors to choose from! and you'd be a fool not to bring her.

"saki, you've got some ice cream on your cheek..."

you giggle, watching your adorable girlfriend eat her ice cream so happily. despite how silly she looked, you couldn't help but fall for her even more.

"hehe... could you help remove it for me, sweetie?"

with such a simple request, how could you ignore it? but why wipe it off normally when you can help her in a special way, right?

you giggle and nod, now leaning in and making it seem like you'll use a tissue, but instead, you surprise her by kissing her on the cheek. maybe not as effective as wiping with a tissue, but so much cuter.

... which earned the even more adorable sight of your lover having this red hue to her face.

"are you alright, saki? you look a little..."

"i'm fine!"

you caught the poor girl off-guard, but... you really can't help it with how cute she looks like this.

★ tenma tsukasa :

rambling sessions with tsukasa aren't uncommon. your minds always seem connected—you say one thing, he agrees and says another... an endless cycle.

this time was... a different case, however.

it happened as it normally did. one of you initiated a topic, then both you kept yapping, yapping, and yapping... until tsukasa suddenly went quiet. not that you noticed, you were too busy talking about something that had piqued your interest.

that was until you noticed tsukasa stopped talking, though. instead of hearing his voice, laughing and agreeing with you, you were met with an adoring gaze from the boy in front of you.

"...stoooop, you're making me all..."

"hm? all what?"

but he was genuinely curious! he really had no clue what you were talking about, and you weren't helping by being so mysterious about it!

a light pink fills your cheeks, and once the future star right in front of you notices, he can't help but match with you.

"you, uh... i didn't mean make you- i mean..."

this was new. sure, he gets flustered around you at times, but to this extent? a sight to behold indeed.

You and Saki were just sitting next to each other in her room as she made new bracelets for both of you! This time, she had new hyperfixation, Hello Kitty! I mean... you two found 2 characters which were SO similiar to you two, so of course she had to made bracelets inspired by them!

"Here you go! Your bracelet's all done!"

She exclaimed when she was finally done with your bracelet. Now it was just hers left! But it seems like you had other plans... because since the middle of her making your bracelet, you were holding back on urge to just cup her face and pepper her with kisses! How could you not? She looked so adorable when she was focused!

So when she was about to reach out for another string to start new bracelet... you stopped her by sitting on her lap and doing just what you wanted~ Cupping her face and peppering her face with kisses.

Her reaction was simple giggle, as she moved her hands from desk to wrap around you and just enjoy the moment. She didn't even care if she'd have any lipstick marks, if she did, she'd just give you some as well!

Kanade was simply working on her newest song and responding to Nightcord members via the chat, while you were resting on bed and scrolled through your phone. It was really classic lazy date for you, but then... you suddenly got this sudden urge to remind your girlfriend how amazing she is.

So you got up from the bed to gently wrap your arms around her neck from behind and began peppering side, back and top of her head with kisses. And since her hair is white... if you had lipstick, it definitely was visible on her hair! But it only added to the cuteness when she looked at you with slight confusion on her face.

"Was I ignoring you...? I'm sorry... I could've focused on this song for a bit too long... I'm sorry, did you say anything?"

You couldn’t tell anyone or even yourself why you were always so exhausted, you simply didn’t know. Those energetic genes didn’t bless you like they did Saki and Tsukasa. It made you feel slightly outcasted, but only slightly.

Just a bit, and only a bit.

If you looked at a family photo of the Tenmas, you’d be the last person anyone would notice. Your expression blank and solemnly staring into the camera lenses, it wasn’t creepy per day, but rather unpleasant. Tsukasa and Saki’s bright, shining smiles only put you in the shadows of that picture.

But it’s okay, you still have your siblings by your side.

Until they aren’t.

Tsukasa and you were always so close as children, spending much time together due to Saki’s hospitalization and parents that were never home, you guys always had each other’s backs.

Until you didn’t.

Tsukasa’s dream of becoming a star is one you always silently supported, not knowing how to express it the right way. This lead to several misunderstandings, that you didn’t care at all about his aspirations. Although brought up like a joke, your reaction wasn’t helping your case. You didn’t say a word or give any reassurance, all you did was look away.

“(Name), do you really think my dream is dumb?”

Hurt was laced in Tsukasa’s voice, his face expressing doubt and betrayal. But yours? Nothing.

“I don’t think it’s dumb.”

“Just forget it (Name), I’m leaving now. See you later.”

You weren’t sure what you did wrong, but you knew you wouldn’t be able to find out. You didn’t have the nerve to ask.

That’s when you and Tsukasa grew distant.

You couldn’t wait for Saki to be discharged, for good this time. You’re dear sister whom you’ve barley seen, you can finally get to know her better.

When she finally returned home, you smiled. A real smile. Saki was overjoyed to be home with her siblings again, ready to spend more time with the two of you. But it didn’t go as she hoped, not at all.

You were too drained to keep up with Saki’s energy, only being able to watch and listen. All you gave her were nods and “oh wow”’s. In your mind, this was letting her know you were still listening. But in Saki’s, it made her feel ignored by you. She thought she was only bothering you, and quietly excused herself.

“Trouble with (Name)?”

“Tsukasa! Um, I wouldn’t say trouble.. just awkwardness. You know them, they don’t do much.”

“Tell me about it…”

If your brother and sister we’re gonna talk about you, they could at least not talk in front of your door where you can clearly hear them. Is that what they think? You don’t do much? You make everything awkward?

They didn’t get it, they never could understand. They can connect with anyone, make anyone smile. It’s in their blood. But why isn’t it in yours?

Maybe it’s better if you distance yourself from the family. If you do make everything worse like they say, then it’s for the better.

It’s for the better.

That brings you to the present state your in. Alone at the train station. You didn’t have anywhere to be, or anywhere to go. You were just there in the night alone watching the city lights glow.

It was ironic, the view perfectly fit you. A dark abounded looking station across a bright colorful city. You could see it perfectly, but could never reach it while the lights are still colorful.

No one noticed you leave the house, so you doubt anyone will notice if you enter the house.

Maybe it wasn’t for the better.

she is always worried for you. always. whenever you’re around, ichika literally cannot take her eyes off of you in fear that you’ll wander off and get lost. of course, she never gets upset with you for this, she finds it rather cute.

if you struggle with technology, ichika is always happy to help! “ichika, i tried to click a certain link but it took me somewhere else. can you help me?” “ah, sure. here, hand it to me.” of course, there’s always the scare of you accidentally downloading a virus onto your phone.

if you get lost easily or tend to wander off, ichika either resorts to holding your hand, or installing a GPS device to your phone. ichika loves you, very much, she’s just constantly concerned about you and your airheadedness.

# saki.

saki thinks you are the cutest thing ever! that little head tilt you do whenever you’re confused, or the way you smile at her when she helps you fix your phone, she loves your airheadedness!

she is always happy to help you if you’re having trouble with your phone. “saki?” “hm?” “my phone won’t turn on. can you help?” “of course! give it here.” and then she proceeds to tell you that it just needs to be charged, and you can borrow her portable one if you wanted!

if you enjoy going on walks and have a bad sense of direction, saki is always a text message away for help! she’ll walk with you wherever you wanted to go, or just around town. sometimes, even she doesn’t notice whenever you wander. “ah, saki, look over there.” as you begin to walk away, “wha- [name], don’t wander off!” she calls, running after you.

# honami.

the caring girl she is, honami is always one step ahead when it comes to you. she’ll gently steer you away from a pole you’re about to walk into, or hold your hand if you’re walking together in a big crowd.

“honami?” you call, “yes, [name]?” the drummer replies. “i can’t seem to find my phone… have you seen it?” “ah… i think it’s in your pocket.” “oh, right.” she laughs gently. honami can’t help but find your airheadedness endearing.

you don’t need to worry about getting lost, honami’s always with you! wether you’re walking to school, to the store, or just walking around, she’s happy to join you. on certain occasions where she can’t be with you, though, she has faith that you’ll be able to manage!

# shiho.

whew, shiho really has her work cut out for her. if someone asked shiho to describe you in simple words, she would respond with: “complete and total airhead” — but she’s never actually annoyed. whenever you come to her and say you’ve lost something, and she points out that you’re holding said thing, she’ll laugh softly and say “you’re such an idiot.” with all of the love in her heart.

much like her older sister, shiho doesn’t mind helping you with technology. if you need to look something up, tell her what it is and she’ll search it for you. though, you’re out of luck if you accidentally download a virus.

there’s been many times where she’s had to leave band practice early to find you. “shiho? where are you going?” asks ichika, “[name] got lost again.” is all she replies with before leaving to get you. when she finds you, she’ll hold onto your wrist and sigh. “i seriously need to install a tracking device onto your phone.” and smiles like a lovesick idiot. she adores you.

you two were having a sleepover, it became a thing between you both. ichika was watering her cactus while you were laying on her bed, when she put the water sprayer down; “[name], i’m gonna go get a snack, do you want anything?” you look at her, smiling. “no thank you.”

she’s gone and back again within a few minutes, entering her room with a tray of snacks and a smile plastered on her face. “i brought more than i anticipated, but more for us— ..oh.” she’s cut off by the sight of your sleeping figure, placing the tray on her desk, she giggles softly and makes her way over to you.

she calmly moves your body under the covers, careful to not wake you. she then enters the bed herself, holding you close and kissing your forehead; “good night, [name]. sleep well.”

# saki.

you were in saki’s room, eating a random snack you got from the kitchen while she wrote down ideas for a new song to perform with leo/need. she turned to you, showing you the paper. “[name], read this! and give your honest, honest answer!”

you took the paper from her, and blinked a few times before realizing you were awake enough to read what she had written. you handed the paper back to her after a minute, smiling. “sounds good, though you should probably send it to shiho and the others for confirmation.” she smirked proudly, setting the paper down and standing up; “i’m gonna go get a water, i’ll be back!” and she was off. her bed was so comfortable… maybe resting your eyes until she returned wasn’t such a bad idea…

until the time she returned. “i’m back! i didn’t know if you were thirsty or not so i brought you your own drink to save you the troubl— ah…” her bright smile turned into a soft one, giggling softly at the sight of you sleeping. “you could’ve just said you were tired, silly.” she says to herself. covering you with her bedsheets and kissing the top of your head, she sat back down at her table, continuing her writing.

# honami.

honami was over at your house, finishing cleaning the area of your room covered with clothes — it wasn’t the best of days for you, you felt..sad. and you called the one and only person you knew who would make you feel better. “you didn’t have to clean for me, honami. i’m not one of your clients.” she turned to you, kissing your cheek while grinning softly; “don’t worry about it, dear. i’m gonna prepare a meal for you — how does that sound?” “that’d be great, thank you.” was your reply, and her soft smile before she left was a good enough “you’re welcome”.

you found yourself becoming a bit sleepy while waiting, you hadn’t gotten much sleep the night before… so, maybe a small nap before she finished would be good. you didn’t bother covering yourself with the blankets, far too hot on a summer day to be under a bunch of sheets.

upon her return, honami opened the door as gently as ever. “i’m back, and i made your favourite— oh.” she noticed your figure, sleeping… in a certainly awkward position. you were half on, half off the bed, sheets blankets and even pillows slipping from the mattress as you moved around. she giggles to herself, setting the tray down before moving to fix your bed and your position. she then sat beside you, hand in yours; “sleep well, you deserve it.”

# shiho.

you had gone to her house to hang out, which she didn’t deny from happening. shiho was tuning her bass while you laid sprawled on her bed, shifting positions ever so often. “shihoo… you pay attention to that bass more than your own partner!” you whined, “well, maybe i like it better.” she joked, and you could feel the divorce papers materializing in your hands.

“don’t be sad when i divorce you because of your love for that bass.” you replied, teasing her. the mix of laughter coming from her and you faded as she heard the sound of a door unlocking; “that must be shizuku. i’ll be back.” she set her bass down and exited her room, leaving you alone with said object that you accuse your girlfriend of loving more than you.

when she returned, she held a bag of food in her hand; “she said she bought food for us on the way home, that’s… hm..?” her voice faded as she noticed you asleep, smiling gently. placing the food down, she entered her bed—pulling you close. “you’re cute…sleep well.”

"Alrighty! Everyone is in the Sekai now, right? Now commences the first Leo/Need Sekai sleepover!!" Saki rolls her sleeping bag out, grinning widely. "I brought all these other blankets and pillows too!"

"I brought some plushies. I thought that they would be cute, and they would enjoy the sleepover too." Shiho smiles bashfully, dumping out all the plushies she had.

"Woah, Shii, that's a lot of plushes, but they're really cute," Ichika says.

"I brought CD's for movies, and I brought some pastries I made," Honami adds.

"I brought some chips, I guess. Not much compared to you guys." You admit.

"Don't worry y/n, you brought yourself, and that's good enough!" Saki embraces you. "Lets start the movie!!"

So you were cuddled up with all your girlfriends, watching Ratatouille.

"Isn't Remy cute???" Honami remarks, "He believes that he can be a chef and he sticks to his goals, even if people look down on him."

"Honami, please don't do a character analysis on a rat." Ichika laughs.

And as the different movies play, the five of you all slowly drift off to sleep, warm in each other's arms.

You and Saki were practically inseparable! Two little twins running around with Tsukasa chasing after you

Things certainly shift when she gets hospitalized, but you don't mind one bit. You visit her constantly (as does Tsukasa, but he gets thrown out for noise complaints-)

When she gets out of the hospital, she tries to bond with Leo/Need again, only to find that the dynamic is weird. Since you were close with them all as well, you knew how strange it felt

The two of you worked together to try and get the gang back together again, and it works! Leo/Need forms, and Saki is happier than ever!

You are obviously dragged along to practices, Shiho will probably tell her to calm down because she's just so excited to have you there with them!

There are times where she pushes herself past her limit, and you basically have everything on hand to help her out. Twin teamwork!

She just adores you, Tsukasa and the rest of Leo/Need so much!! She constantly takes you around, wanting to live out the middle school life that she always wanted!

Shizuku:

Shizuku has an...interesting and very different life growing up compared to you, but of course, she still adores you!

She never really wanted to be an idol, but she decided to roll with it. You definitely can tell that the life is both exciting and terrifying to her-

She'll ramble about being an idol with you, eyes sparkling as she describes how fun it is!...At least, at first.

She hears all about how she's only famous for her looks, and she can only come to you for comfort through it all. Thankfully, it all changes once she joins MMJ!

You can tell just how much happier she is, and she loves nothing more than to gush about you to her groupmates as she brings you around backstage

We all know had bad she is with directions and technology, so most of the time you're the one to help her (unless you're also just as bad, then Shiho has to deal with it.)

Shiho is thankful that you exist, because you definitely take away some of the attention Shizuku showers her with- You're both just gushed over by your sister!

Shiho:

Shiho has always been the type to stay closed off and quiet, but as her twin, you're part of the group of people allowed to "bother" her

It would definitely be strange to see you both without the other, so of course you were brought along to hang out with the rest of Leo/Need

You noticed she started to close herself off even more, the only person she didn't seem to isolate from was you. Even then, she didn't want you to be by her for long

You weren't entirely sure of the specifics, but she came home clutching her bass guitar, smiling as she told you about Leo/Need. It was the happiest you'd seen her

She occasionally drags you along to practices, and has to pry all of them off of you because they missed hanging out with you as well-

You're also the only person she willingly shows her pet games to. Will she embarrassed out of her mind? Yes. But she trusts you-

🎸• Ichika’s the type to be shy in a relationship at first, but open up more over time.

🎸 • She’d let you sit and watch Leo/Need practice. If you give her any compliments on her playing, she’ll be bashful about it and thank you. Your kind words help motivate her to play as well as she can!

🎸 • Her favourite way to spend time with you would be relaxing together and listening to Miku songs. She would make two shared playlists for when the two of you hang out, one for everyday and one for winding down together after a long day!

🎸 • If you ask her to play a Miku song on her guitar, she’ll gladly play for you! You could ask her for any song, there’s a high chance she’s know it already, but if she doesn’t she’ll happily learn it and show you the next time you’re together!

🎸 • She loves looking after her cactus, so if you get her another as a gift, she’ll be ecstatic! She would place them next to eachother in the perfect place for them to grow. She looks after them like they’re her children!

🥁• Honami has a few insecurities about being in a relationship, but a little bit of love and experience shows her there’s nothing to worry about!

🥁• She would love going on walks with you! If it’s taking Shibao on a walk in the park together, or just a relaxing walk spent chatting with you, she’d love it either way! Beaches are one of her favourite places to walk with you :)

🥁• She’d love making food for you! She’ll bring snacks and treats she’s made for you to your dates together! She also likes cooking with you, making sweet treats with you quickly becomes one of her favourite type of dates!

🥁• Honami would love going out to see the stars with you. On late weekend nights, you would go out together to see if you can spot any constellations. She knows all their names, so she’ll point them all out to you!

🥁• You’d have to be well in to your relationship with Honami before she would show you her art, but when she eventually builds up the courage to flip through her sketchbook with you she’d be pretty happy if you gave her a hand with drawing! She doesn’t mind if you’re good or not, she’ll take any help she can get!

🥁• Despite her anxieties, Honami would try her very best in a relationship with you! She may be insecure and embarrassed at times, but she appreciates everything you do for her and she loves you very much!

🍜• Shiho is definitely a tsundere. It’ll take a while for her to properly open up in a relationship.

🍜• Like Ichika, Shiho would take you to Leo/need practices with her. She doesn’t mind the compliments you give her, but much prefers when you criticise her playing. It helps her get better! She’ll let you have a go at playing her bass every now and then and she’ll try her best at teaching you how to play. Even though she doesn’t show it much, she’s so proud when you manage to play what she’s been teaching you correctly!

🍜• She doesn’t seem like a physical touch person, but the longer you’re in a relationship together, the more you realise she’s just shy about it. PDA definitely isn’t her thing, but she doesn’t mind cuddling up in private from time to time. ( even if she does go red as a tomato from as little as holding her hand! )

🍜• She’ll take you out to ramen places every now and then. It’s nice, even though most of the time is spent with her analysing the ramen!

🍜• If you were ever in a boring class together, Shiho would offer you an earbud so you two could listen to music together! She has the perfect playlist prepared full of songs that are great for listening to during classes you’d rather not be in!

🍜• Shiho may not be the most affectionate in a relationship, but she shows her affection in other ways. To her, actions speak louder than words. you can see how much she loves you through everything she does for you!

Pink’s extra notes♡ - I had to study hard to make this lol, I don’t know too much about Leo/Need, so I watched the Journey To Bloom digest story and all of the Leo need self intros so that this was at least a bit accurate! Ichika wasn't really surprised that you're part of such an eccentric theatre troupe since she's so used to you cheering people up

The first thing she did when she found out that you're in WxS is complement you, she found it super cool that you're able to act

Unfortunately, Ichika doesn't like noisy places like Phoenix Wonderland so she can't frequently attend your shows but she tries to make up for it by inviting you to eat lunch with her at school.

When she does decide to attend your shows, she's absolutely BLOWN away every time, when did your singing voice and acting get so good? It must be Nene's help.

Ichika likes to pay you back for your amazing shows by writing songs for you and then performing them to you whenever you two hang out.

She feels like her songs are a bit too cheesy sometimes but seeing you get so happy after hearing her songs eases her worries <3

Saki Tenma

She was SO excited when she found out that you're a part of WxS.

She already visits Phoenix Wonderland a lot already but knowing that you perform there made her go more frequently.

Literally told everyone to start going to Phoenix Wonderland just because her partner performs there.

Whenever you go to her house to rehearse with Tsukasa, she asks if she can watch, she wants to take in all the stardom while she still can.

Saki tries to impress you a lot. "Y'know, I learnt how to juggle in hospital, maybe you should let me be a guest star" she smirks. She obviously forgot because she dropped all the balls on the floor within seconds 😭

Honami Mochizuki

"You're in Wonderlands X Showtime? I think my classmate, Emu, is in your troupe!"

She immediately brings her friends with her to see your shows

Honami can't always attend because of her job as Kanade's housekeeper but if there's a time when she can come, she definitely will.

She brings apple pies with her to share with you after a show

Before shows, she takes a nice walk with you and her dog to ease any nerves you may have.

Shiho Hinomori

Shiho found out that you're a WxS member through a path of embarrassment. She was looking for some Phenny merch at a Phoenix Wonderland stall when she got jumpscared by you.

"Shiho?" you said from behind her. Girl literally JUMPED out of fear 😭"(N-Name)?!", she had been caught red-handed buying Phenny merch, how humiliating. She hoped that this wouldn't too awkward. "Hi! I didn't think you would be here" you exclaimed, ignoring the current situation she was in. Shiho was relieved when she realised that you weren't gonna further embarrass her.

You become immersed in conversation and she finds out that you're a member of Wonderland X Showtime.

Since she visits so frequently, she thought she could stop by to see one of your shows sometime. She was just a bit worried about bumping into that thing (Tsukasa).

Nonetheless, she still attends and watches your shows. If Tsukasa approaches her though, be prepared for her to run away faster than the speed of light.

Saki always sensed something was off about you, but she could never pinpoint what exactly it was. But there was just something about your presence that felt… empty. The kind of empty where your emotions feel hallow, like there was nothing there behind the emotion displayed on your face.

Of course- she didn’t wanna pry. It could have been personal and you didn’t wanna share, and if it wasn’t that, her question would have just sounded rude. Saki decided on staying curious and just hoping it was nothing more than a hunch. But she would find out one day.

When you finally confess to Saki that you’re losing yourself- everything pieces together in her head at last. Why your passion seemed so hallow- why your laughter lacked the enthusiasm she always wants to hear- all of it. It all came together and hit her like a brick.

“Please… (Name)- let me help you! I can help; I want to help… I’m going to help you find yourself again, I promise you.”

“Saki…”

“(Name)… please let me..”

And so you agreed. In the moment; you actually believed there was a better chance at finding yourself again. After all, if Saki was there with you, there helping you, surely you could find the identity you’ve lost so long ago… right?

Things started to look brighter, you could actually do this. It didn’t feel made up anymore. Saki was actively helping you and giving you the guidance you needed, and god did living feel so much better while it lasted.

But when it happened, you lost all hope. You knew that it was never a real possibility after all. To find who you were without losing even more of yourself? You were only finding who you wished you were, not who you really were.

When you got told you weren’t acting like yourself- by your own mother- it didn’t hurt. But when you said you were acting like yourself in an attempt to defend yourself, and that this is how you act…

“You don’t act like yourself (Name), everyone knows that. There’s no real personality behind the one you use to mimic others, even who you supposedly really are just seems like another mask.”

It felt like your whole world crashed around you in that moment. Surely you were just being sensitive right now? That doesn’t mean anything, you’ve gotten closer to knowing your identity. This is just some kind of obstacle the gods decided to give you. Right?

But the more you thought about it- the more right she sounded. What if now you’re just mimicking Saki’s personality… she’s been around you the most, helping you the most, doing the most for you. It must have been unintentional, but if mirroring her was like second nature… isn’t that who you are? A mirror… a mirrorball. You’re identity isn’t out there- it’s someone else’s.

You gave up, after so much time. Saki begged and pleaded for you to keep trying, but you just couldn’t. It was impossible. And the impossible couldn’t be done- you told her that.

“(Name) please- I’d find a way to do the impossible for you. I’d catch the moon for you! Please/ you need to keep trying- I can’t help you if you also don’t keep trying… (Name)… don’t do this!”

You couldn’t help but tune her pleads and sobs out, as horrible as it felt. She needed to know there was no helping you anymore- it couldn’t be done. Saki was only wasting her time.

That night you fell asleep with your eyes open, and Saki fell asleep with tear stained cheeks and on your floor. It was going to be a rough patch from here on- and Saki isn’t sure if she can bear it without helping you.

Rui is very attentive. He’s learnt how to pick up on his peers reactions just by the way their eyebrows raise or eyes twitch over the years, it made it easier to know when he should leave. So he picks up on your false personality right away.

Nothing about you felt right to him. Of course saying this would sound rude, but that was in no way what he meant. The way your smile fades the moment someone isn’t looking along with the light in your eyes bothered him. It didn’t make it any better when your smile and light would return the second someone speaks to you.

Rui never asked anyone else what they thought, he simply kept it to himself and waited for the right opportunity to ask you; or even for you to tell him yourself. To him, it feels more like a game or puzzle rather than a problem. But the moment you tell him you’ve lost almost every piece of yourself- it becomes his biggest concern.

“You know I can find those pieces for you, right? I’m going to help you, (Name). I’ll do everything I can to find these ‘missing pieces,’ I’ll even make them myself if I must.”

“Are you sure about this, Rui? What if-“

“There’s no “if” about this lovely, I’m going to help you. You’re going to find yourself.”

If Rui is there, surely it could happen… if he’s helping- as long as he’s with you, maybe you can do it. What before seemed nonexistent, now started to seem like the future. Yeah, it could happen now!

Nothing felt like a blur anymore, days stopped blending together and looking identical. You were slowly finding yourself again and sewing your identity back together with the help of Rui. Every thread feeling strong and tight, so it’d never be loosened again.

Although, the threads must have loosened at some point in the stitching, because everything fell apart all at once in what could have been a blink of an eye. What before seemed like a clear day now looked as if it was the greatest storm.

After all- you thought your mother was okay with who you were becoming, she even told you she was proud of how you’ve been acting! Why did she change her mind like this? What could you have possibly have done to hear such insulting words spill out of her mouth directed at you?

“(Name), how about you get those low grades up instead of treating everything around you like it’s worth less than you? This is ridiculous behavior coming from you.”

You didn’t understand where this was coming from, it’s 8 in the morning, and what exactly were you doing that made it seem like you were treating everything like it was worth less than you? This isn’t a big deal- not a big deal at all.

But in your mind, you were going insane. What were you doing to make it seem like that? Have you been like this for the past few days or weeks or months? Is she lying? What is your true self is just a stuck up bitch? What the fuck is she talking about?

Anything you had planned for the day dissolved into a pile of ashes. ‘This isn’t a big deal- why the fuck am I being so overdramatic.’

You stormed back to your room and started pulling everything apart, maybe you’ll be able to understand why mom said that if you gave her a good enough reason too. Anything that was hanging in your room was ripped up and thrown all over the floor, the bed was a mess and shredded paper covered your desk. You stood there in the middle out of breath, ‘what’s the point?’

“Love? What happened in here? I thought we were supposed to be studying today, is everything okay?”

Rui, you forgot you made plans with him today. His time couldn’t have been any worse. Maybe if he came a few minutes later, you wouldn’t of-

“Oh my god Rui, can you just give up on helping me? Look at this shit- no person that could be helped would have done this. You’re wasting all your fucking time and energy on something that will never happen! For your sake and mine- just stop.”

Rui didn’t know what to think or say, he was stunned. This felt out of the blue and like a stab in the heart. What got into you? Progress was being made- he thought he got you back on the right track. And now it feels like all that progress vanished. But it clicked, he couldn’t save you.

At this point, tears were streaming down your face and Rui’s eyes were watering. There was no taking anything back now.

“Okay then.. I’ll be going now, you don’t seem… ready… to have me here.”

“Then fucking go- wait-“

The door slammed shut before you could beg for him back. He wasn’t coming back after that. Rui walked home fighting back his tears, breaking down the moment he stepped foot in his room. He couldn’t save you, and you couldn’t save yourself.

you loved them dearly, and so did they. but you two were too scared to confess for the fact that the other might not like them back and to just mess up your friendship already. you both kept your unspoken feelings to yourself so you both can stay like this forever- staying by eachothers side just the way you like it in hopes that you'd lose your feelings. as it gets harder to hide such feelings, distance starts to grow between you two- slowly pushing you away so you both wouldn't get hurt

in which a day where you were out taking a walk and stumble across a cute-looking stray kitty. as you follow it, you find someone who looks oh-so pretty. you both become friends, and then lovers. and to this day, you're glad to have followed the cat. it's almost as if the cat was leading you straight towards them.

in which it was summertime and you met someone who was as bright as the sun to you. they noticed you too and immidientally grew close to you. you both shared many fun memories together, really! the only problem was that you both had different dreams you wanted to pursue. despite how much they still wanted to stay with you, they figured it'd be easier to just go your own paths because they loved you so much

you then wake up from your peaceful slumber to see them smiling at you. "looks like you had a nice dream. what was it about?" they'd ask. "i don't know if you could call it a dream. i mean, it already came true."
