Me looking at my long list of wild ass theories for Dangerous Romance and trying to figure out how they will all fit into the last four episodes:

A house robbed

And Name to weasel his way into that house

Kang and Sailom are about to go on their little honeymoon spending all of daddy's money, which I was hoping would be episode 8.

Because that means the house isn't getting robbed until the end of episode 9 or not until episode 10 now?! Which will put all the angst in episode 11?! Don't panic. Deep breaths. DEEP BREATHS!

I'm not upset because the dad has not been shot yet. That makes me seem evil. I'm just getting teary-eyed thinking about how lovely it will be when after spending all his dad's money and telling his dad he'd rather not have him as a father and his father hitting him, the dad gets shot. *smiles like the Grinch*

Especially because Saifah will be blamed for it (WHERE ARE YOU, NAME?! I NEED YOU TO CAUSE TROUBLE!) after the grandma said she trusted him.

windmill vs. wind

kanghan and sailom both said and did things they don't mean simply just to hurt each other because they felt hurt themselves - the windmill was battling his war of emotions and spinning erratically and the wind was fighting back to break him apart until they realized they don't want to hurt each other anymore.

kang was honestly not even thinking straight when he entered that room in the last scene. he was just so blinded by anger at that old man and anger at sailom for taking on this job. while the thought of sailom escorting enrages kang, i feel like his anger is more so directed at sailom putting himself into a situation where he got drugged and couldn't fend for himself (even though it wasn't his fault) because the first thing he says to him is "can you please come to your senses? come on." before yelling "did you realize you got spiked?!" - kang knows sailom is capable of protecting himself and outsmarting people when he's in a situation he doesn't want to be in, but in this case he was completely vulnerable.

there's also the frustration he feels from the whole situation with saifah confessing to shooting his dad looming over them which is why he can't even allow himself to keep sailom by his side in the first place and sailom leaving him the moment he asked him to combined with his possessiveness for him despite being the one to push him away. also, the intense worry from the phone call to getting there as fast as he could and seeing sailom in that state, and of course the fear of what could've happened to sailom if he didn't get there sooner.

kang honestly doesn't know how to control his emotions by himself at all. @kessthenorthface worded it perfectly in this post, "usually kang regulates his emotions with sailom. he had become dangerously dependent on sailom." the windmill really does need his wind to function properly.

when sailom tells him, "go ahead. for me, you're nothing but money. go ahead. do whatever the hell you want to me." he's breaking off a blade of his windmill with every line and kang listens to him. he goes ahead to hurt him even more and it's so hard to watch, but then kang just breaks down as he does it because why are they doing this to each other.

sailom's clenched fists relax when he hears and feels kang sob in his arms and he holds onto him so tight as if immediately remembering the way kang let go of his wrist and told him to leave, but kang still came to him as soon as he called and saved him yet again despite the things he said and did after that. sailom knows he needs him and he doesn't want kang to leave him all alone again.

okay, I love you saifah, but telling him to forget about you is really freaking selfish

it may seem self-sacrificing, like "he'll be happier without me on his plate" but it's not. it's downright selfish.

there are things at play here that you're not thinking about, and other things you're not aware of

such as, you dont know that sailom is now kind of hopeless. because of what you supposedly did, kang now hates sailom, so sailom can't tutor him, so sailom can't get the money to pay off yours and his debts.

as for the things you're not thinking off?

you forget, your parents are both dead. you are his only family left. he is your only family left. he wants to understand the situation so that he can get help for you to get out, so that he isn't utterly alone, and so that you can get out of the terrible environment that is jail. he can't just forget about you, because you are all he has.

and this is both not thinking of and not aware of, sailom doesn't like to accept help from people for free. he doesnt have kang's financial support anymore. and his friends are offering help, but he has no way to pay them back for that help, so he wont accept it. but he wants you back, deemed innocent, so that he can get his boyfriend back, his job back, his happiness back. he can't just forget about you. he needs you.

Final Verdict: 3, This Was Not It. I absolutely did not enjoy watching this show at all for the last ten episodes. This show does not take Sailom or poverty seriously. This show was high-key offensive the entire time. The show wants to do this thing with people with means interacting with those without, but they do it in such a slapdash way and primarily from the perspective of the wealthy that it comes off as deeply condescending. To make matters worse, Perth and Chimon's chemistry did not come through to save this at all. After two outings in high school this year together, I'm just not into them as a pair. We thought they would be strong together, but I am not impressed. I do not recommend this show at all if you wanna take any part of it seriously. If you just wanna look at faces it might be fine, but this was not the fun kind of trash I can enjoy. One fucking chop.

Last week, Kang tried to make Sailom's friends forgive him for all that bullying and treating them like shit, mostly successfully as it turns out. But only really because they are great friends and they can see that Sailom likes him. Auto was very relatable and steadily climbed the ranks into becoming my favorite character, and Guy and Nawa were dumb with alcohol.

Also Saifah got Grandma to hire him. I'm sure that'll go well with absolutely nothing being stolen and no one being arrested and no repercussions for Sailom at all.

And their first real kiss?? Oh my god I have never seen any kiss so full of love in any show I watched. The forehead kiss then holding each other, nose kisses and eskimo kisses and then FINALLY a real deep loving kiss?! Plus the background music!! I am a goner for those two and this scene was amazing 😍✨

4. Sun x Mork from Dark Blue Kiss

These two... Their whole story was my favourite. The whole build up to this scene alone. The trip to get coffee beans. The fights. Mork singing beautifully and then taking a deep breath and asking Sun if he likes men. Sun leaning in but still giving Mork enough time to back out. The first kiss and Mork closing his eyes. Sun immediately leaning back in and Mork responding now. They are so cute together and just a beautiful couple. I loved this scene ✨🎶

5. Jack x Zhao Zi from History 3: Trapped

Another dorky, adorable couple. Zhao Zis antics always got to me. He was so adorable but such a weirdo. And Jack being absolutly whipped and domestic with him. Honestly they remind me of Saifah and Zon... But this final kiss. Zhao Zi smiling and then leaning in. Them finally being together. It made me so happy.
