There are quite a few promising new models that have caught my eye and I do want to do a separate feature on them but keeping the recent fashion week in mind, the stand out is definitely Saheefa Jabbar Khattak!

Who made your best dressed list for the Hum Awards 2018? I don’t want to say it but surprisingly both the female devils (Hania and Hira) looked good. Hira’s dress could have used another fitting at the top. Mawra’s dress was okay she just needs to learn to carry clothes better, like Mahira. Iqra was pretty disappointing and Sajal was too. I’m upset Ayesha Omer didn’t go. She’d probably slay everybody with whatever she’d have chosen t wear.

I think I’m actually gonna try to sit through this one because it seemed really well organized and structured. We also had so many new people in the limelight.

I wonder what the dress code is because it was such a mix-match of desi and western wear. I would think since its Hum, a channel dedicated to housewives it would be eastern wear but I’m so confused. The only two that I loved were Ainy Jaffri and Saheefa Jabbar Khattak. Everyone else either looked passable or disastrous. 

I actually don’t understand Mawra at all. This girl can’t carry a since outfit no matter what she wears and opting for a Manish Malhotra is such a disappointing choice for me because it shows a lack of self-respect and awareness of the political climate. And when you’ve been categorized as a girl who lacks originality and copies Mahira, why go for that again? 

Also, is Mahira okay? Because even at the Pakistan Film Festival in New York, it didn’t look like she was Pakistan’s biggest female star. Aamina Sheikh definitely stood out. Even here she was dressed as if she was disinterested. I don’t get it. 

And did you guys see the winner list? Lets looks at the bias since Hum can’t help themselves,  Most Impactful Character and Best Director Drama Serial had two winners because we have to keep everyone happy. Recognition Award Films was given to Mahira and Humayun. Mahira had Verna out, which was criticized and flopped but we gotta keep Mahira Khan happy. Popularity aside, Why did Sajal win for Yakeen Ka Safar when she was so amazing in O Rangreza? They still need a better jury system.
