The 2023 SUPER GT season opened with a drama filled Okayama GT 300Km where heavy rain squalls caused numerous crashes yet failed to stop the N°18 Team UP Garage Honda NSX-GT3 from winning the GT300 class in the shortened event.

My Christmas presents this year are these three minicars.

The brands will be SPARK and MINI GT.

ll introduce them one by one.

First up is the MINI GT Subaru Impreza S5.

This is a vehicle used in the 1998 WRC Tour de Corse.

This is a miniature car of the machine that Japanese driver Toshihiro Arai actually drove.

Next up is SPARK's STANLEY NSX-GT from Honda's ace team, Team Kunimitsu, which was used in this year's SUPER GT.

This will be the last NSX of the year. It is an NSX with a coloring suitable for decorating the last one.

Next is the SPARK minicar, but this is a test car of Honda's CIVIC TYPE-R GT500.

From next year's SUPER GT, Honda's machine will change from NSX to this CIVIC TYPE-R.

To be honest, I was surprised that they would use an FWD hatchback instead of a sports car, but this is a pretty cool machine.

I'm curious to see what kind of performance he will show in next year's SUPER GT.

Mobil ini dikembangkan dari Honda Civic Type R generasi terbaru yang diperkenalkan pada semester kedua tahun 2022. Mobil tersebut mengusung mesin 2.0-liter direct injection turbocharged inline 4-cylinder. Desain bodi serta aerodinamika mobil serta teknologi lainnya dikembangkan oleh Honda Racing Co., Ltd (HRC). THIS IS THE ONE FOLKS. new to japan nick and just got robbed of his sf seat ryo. two vastly different people on the outside but similar enough in worldview to just GET each other when they were assigned to be teammates. HOW NICK RACES WITH 37 FOR HIS DAD AND RYO RACES WITH 37 FOR HIS BIRTHDAY AND IT SO HAPPENED THAT LEXUS TEAM TOMS HAS THAT AS A FACTORY NUMBER. HELLO!!!! it was fate. watch nick's supergt era vlogs. see how journalists approach nick when ryo was made mclaren reserve bc they all knew the best way to learn more about ryo was from nick. read the heartwrenching interview ryo did when nick had to leave for fe. these two are still known as the golden boys in some japanese racing community circles and WITH GOOD REASON!

jeandre: makes sense, neutral about the compelling

i don't need to say more about jeandre, most of y'all know what's up with them. it makes sense to me but doesn't compel me as much as the two above mainly bc enough ppl are out there propping them and i dedicate my life to rooting for underdogs. i did find andre tagging along for jev's literal honeymoon hilarious.
