My apologies for any mistakes this might containt, and my apologies if this is bad. I did my best for the first ever Fnaf Dca thing I wrote.

It annoyed you. Everything pissed you off today. It was Valentines today. Which meant the streets were filled with happy lovey-dovey couples holding hands, giving chocolates to each other, and kissing even. Seriously, get a room. Hotels exist for a dang reason. You deeply sighed, you wished you could have stayed home so you would avoid seing all this sickly display. But today you wanted to go to work, despite it being your day off.

Today you were upset.. You always considered yourself a strong person. A person that always smiles through difficulties, a fake smile or a genuine smile. It didn't matter. It gave you the strength to continue. You were your very own light in the paths of darkness.

You didnt needed anybody, you were better than that. Better than all those stupid couples pretending to love each other and swear over their lives that they will stay together but ended up breaking up after a few months. Better than those hypocrites who were calling their selfish desire for attention "love". You were above that. You had noble intentions. "Valentines is not only about romantic love," they say.. "It's also about friendship love and family love!" You sometimes wondered who were the idiots who one day declared that.

Apparently their little brains hadn't registered that not everyone had family and friends. But it didn't matter. You only needed yourself. That's what you thought... until you met a way brighter star than you. A sun.

The reason why you were going to work today.

You paused in your mopping, raising your head to look at him from afar, through the large windows of the Superstar Daycare, just as you did oh so often since you met him. Yet you were always careful to not look at him for too long, just a mere few seconds before looking away from him.

You didn't really exactly know how, but animatronics had some kind of sixth sense, they always knew when people starred at them, most of them simply not showing that they were aware of the gazes upon them. Maybe they had some kind of camera or.. yeah, you truly had no idea.

Maybe just a feeling? That didn't change the fact that when you were starring for too long, Sun would always turn around in your direction no matter how far you were from him, giving you that big smile of his and waving at you happily, completly not in the way someone would react if they caught someone else starring at them for the past 10 minutes.

One more time, you decided to look back at him, relying a little on your peripheral vision, not moving too much your head to still pretend you were focused on the mopping. You wanted to look at him, as much as you possibly could.. To glue his appearance in your mind, to impregnate his body in your thoughts, to remember every single detail of him for when you close your eyes.

You often imagined how it would feel, to have those metallic hands all over your skin, caressing you, stroking you ever so gently. Would they be cold, or would they be warm..? How heavenly would it be to be held in his strong arms, his firm grip holding you securely, far from any harm..

Leaning your body against his comforting chest, hands on that thin waist.. The sound of his voicebox next to your ear, whispering to you all sort of things, sweet nothings, encouraging words, tempting pleas, whispering your very own name with so much affection attached to it.

And his smell.. his smell! Would it be lemon scented like the laundry of the daycare, or mint like the disinfectant he uses for some of the toys..? Or the scent of the pine from the wood polish he used for the security desk..? Maybe even he would have that strange scent of dust you often smell on wires of any electronic device with a light touch of gasoline, oil, or whatever could be used to make run his motors and circuits.

Oh how much did you want to be at the center of his attention, to be his own world.. You just wanted him to hold you, you desired it with all you had. It's not like you couldn't, Sun was a very touchy animatronic who always gave not much consideration to personal bubbles. Ever since you met him, he wanted to offer you a hug as a welcome to Fazbear Entertainment. The issue wasn't him, no.. It was you.

You always declined as politely as you could his tentatives. You were scared.. You were scared that if he gave you a hug, just a single hug.. You would become greedy for more, you would become addicted to his affection and the attention you were getting from the one who held the most important place in your heart.

You were too scared of what would happen to you if the hugs stopped one day, and that you were forced into that state where you want more, you need more but can't get any. And what if you kept asking him about those hugs..? Would that give away your feelings for him? After all, why would a simple employee ask for so many hugs from an animatronic? That definitely sounded off.

No. No no, you weren't that kind of person, you weren't the kind to beg. As desperate you were for his touch, you refused to get into that kind of drug. It was poison.

As much as you wanted to, this was more than impossible. You had so many reasons to think it, it was just a dream both subjectively and objectively. Yes, that was it. A fantasy, a happy ending out of a child's story. You hated to have to admit how right you were, but Sun's feelings weren't the same as yours. Just from the way he called you.. "Friend". It could have meant something if this wasn't the way Sundrop calls every person he sees.

The smile he gave you every time he saw you was exactly the same one he would give to a stranger, the same as everyone.. but maybe not the same one he gave to Lisa. Lisa Lisa Lisa... You were starting to get sick of this name.. sick of the fact she was always everywhere you don't want to see her.

Ah, there she is again.. You had barely begun thinking about her when she jogged up to Sun while he was picking up plushies from the floor, gathering them into his arms.. She was a fellow employee of the company, she has been here longer for longer than you, being close to him for longer than you. What annoyed you the most here was that Sundrop looked to be enjoying her presence..

You couldn't even figure out their exact relationship. Were they friends, close friends? ..Lovers?

Why did they look like they were always flirting together..? You couldn't blame Sun for anything if he happened to have feelings for her. Lisa was such a pretty girl, with long wavy hair, so thin and elegant.. She looked so kind too, always positive and brightening everything around her.. Opposites attract? What a joke... Those two were going along so well, it's as if they were made for each othe- Oh no. There she goes again, playing with the ribbons of his wrists, passing her fingers along his forearm..

You couldn't help but watch this with attention, your hands clutching the mop so hard in your palms that your knuckles turned white.. Why was she so touchy with him?? Cant, she keeps her hands to herself like everyone..??

No. No no no.. This isn't right.

Who were you to get in the way of this..? Of them? If Sun agreed to this, why would you have a single thing to say, to even dare about think it? It's just impossible to blame Sun.. Between you and her, the choice is quickly made, even you, you would have chosen her over yourself. And yet.. you couldn't help this burning feeling in your chest, that deep jealousy devouring you from the inside like a demon. That's unfair... If only you could lock him, put him somewhere nobody would ever be able to touch him, to look at him..

..Nobody except you.

"New friend."

A low voice resounded behind you, deeper than usual and way too close to be comfortable. You didn't let it startle you however, you were too used to the idea that Sun could appear out of nowhere without a single noise, without a sound of bell, without a warning. You didn't turn around immediately, it took you a few seconds, maybe more, maybe less... but just enough time to steel yourself, brace up your thoughts, and that wonderful smile of yours that held absolutely nothing genuine in it before turning around.

Nobody would ever blame you for giving such a fake smile to the animatronic, not like anyone would ever figure it was fake, you were such a good performer.. who needed a stage when your whole life was enough to teach you how to lie. And to lie so well. Yet, you wanted to believe that this smile was fake, that it was in fact your own attempt to make efforts for Sun, only showing yourself to him under your best light. After all, Sundrop was the only one you were giving smiles to, forced or not.

"Heeeeey Sundrop, dear fella! It's so nice seeing you there! Howzit goin??"

"New friend." Sun repeated, voice slightly louder this time. "Im happy to see you, how are you doing on this beautiful day? I hope work is not giving you too much trouble. I saw you so little that if I didn't know better, I could think you were playing hide and seek!". That was subtle, yet you understood what he was trying to imply. He was mentioning the fact you were avoiding him. It wasnt your fault, you couldn't help it. You disliked the actual situation, he was there in front of you, so close and yet completely out of reach. No wonder you wanted to avoid it.

"Ohh Sun, if only. But ya know, there is so much work around here that I have no time to play!"... okay, that wasn't the best excuse or defense you ever made up, but you knew Sun wouldn't question it any further, you were at the job after all, it was all normal to be focused on your work. "Hmm, I see." He answered, holding his chin with his fingers as if deep in thought.

"But you haven't answered my question friend. How are you doing?" Ouch. You hoped he would let it pass but he didnt. "I'm going very well thank you!" That itched to say that.

You did want to avoid lying to Sun as much as possible, but if he pressed the question like that, what could you possibly do?

It's not like you could tell him Haha, my day is absolutely awful thanks for asking! Oh, and it's all because I love you by the way, and I know it's totally not a shared feeling! See you around, I'll go cry in a corner now, so if you excuse me~

Yeaaah, no. Lying was way better than the pathetic truth.

You haven't failed to notice his persistent gaze on you. You hated those eyes as much as you loved them. They made you feel vulnerable in every way, you deeply disliked the fact that he was always looking at you straight in the eyes, as if to read you, to unlace every of your little secrets. Unbreaking, unwavering, not blinking. It was so terrifying to think that he could detect a single twitch of your eyebrows, a slight shuder in your shoulders, a breach in your smile.. But you remained strong under the weight of it, you had to.

Sun only made a small 'hm' of acknowledgment, growing silent in a few seconds. This gave you a cold shiver, you never have seen Sun this silent ever since you are here. He is always talking, whether what he says is interesting or not, he was known to be a real chatterbox, always moving and fidgeting.. so the sight of him so immobile.. was deeply disturbing.

His smile grew thinner, his gaze narrowed to the large window of the daycare. You followed his gaze, the daycare was empty at this time of day, except for Lisa, she was there, using a rag to rub the wood of the security desk. You guessed that now she would too smell like pine wood polish, the thought of her and Sun possibly sharing the same smell because of the wood polish disgusted you. He was still looking at her. Just as you were trying to not grit your teeth because of that, Sun spoke up, his voice breaking the awkward silence you both were in.. "Friend" he said.

Friend.. Friend, friend.

You don't like that nickname at all, it just reminded you what you were to him. You were preparing your answer but Sun beat you to it, before you could even speak a word of your opened mouth. "Do you know what day it is today?" he questions. That truly threw you off guard, so much that your mouth was still agape, you were trying to process why he would ask such a thing of you.. Your brain was fuming with the possibilities. You shook your head, smiling more widely, more genuinely, hiding your hands that were shivering with excitation behind your back.

"I-It is the 14th of February! It.. It is Valentine's".

Sun was perfectly aware of that information, how an animatronic connected to the internet 24/7 could ever lose track of time? No, he was asking that for you. Your heartbeat accelerated slightly, you felt it, it was getting important. You had that hope, as small as it was, as big was the possibility of him not loving you, you still felt hopeful, you were listening to your heart, not your brain, it was saying that you finally deserved that happy ending with him you always dreamed about! Your brain, however, was screaming you something else.

It was reminding you what the odds were, the ridicule of such a situation happening, it was screaming at you to run.

And you should have listened to it.

With a smile, he kept up the silence for still a few seconds, as if picking the right words. "Then why are you working?" A light frown came over your features, not really getting the sense of his words.. "W..What do you mean..?". "Well, people usually spend their Valentine's day with the ones they love. Its a shame that you stay here." His sentences started racing in your mind, eyes wide, and your blood felt as if it was getting drained out of your body.

You understood this..

You shouldn't be here. There is nobody to spend Valentine's day with you in this place.

That's what he meant... You feared you misunderstood what he said, yeah.. t-that maybe is a mistake... He took your silence for an invitation to continue..

"I'm pretty sure there are so many pretty things to watch outside of the Pizzaplex"

Stare at many other things than me..

"And it's your day off! It's important for everyone to rest!"

You didn't have to come, you are in the way of our own peaceful day..

"But don't worry, I'll do your cleanup so you can enjoy the day! Friends will be forever friends right??"

I'll do your work if that means you leave. Friends will stay friends. We are nothing more.

"Come on, don't you have a partner waiting for you friend?" Im not your lover.

Ha.. Ha ha...

A nervous laugh escaped you, you could form a single sentence. Everything was stuck in your throat. It was as if the words were transformed into that awful noise, you weren't the master of your own voice anymore.. Once your voice died in the silence, you looked down at your closed firsts.

Of course, it had to end like that. You just hoped the illusion could have lasted longer... That you could have stayed in that foggy mirage... You took a step back, slow and hesitant. Then another.. Each step was separating you from him, each step was tearing you inside.. Each step you took made you feel weaker... and weaker... "I.. I understand..".. your voice came out way lower than you expected, cracking at the end, trembling.. You were on the verge of tears.

A sound like a sigh left Sun's voicebox. He took a step forward and he took a hold of your wrist, causing you to gasp in surprise. His hand.. his fingers.. they.. they were on your wrist.. They felt so soft, they felt so warm..! Is that what Lisa got to touch every day..? You barely had time to process, that he opened your palm and he placed inside it a round-wrapped candy. He then moved back as suddenly as he had stepped forward.

And in a matter of seconds, he was gone, walking back toward the daycare. You stood here, holding the candy still, not moving, your eyes not leaving his form until he disappeared. He did not turn back, not even once. Your wrist was burning cold... It was like a red-hot brand on your skin... Your body felt deadly frozen... A single tear ran along your cheek all the way down to your chin. It took a moment before you finally moved..

You decided it would probably be better to cry at home rather than here.

You had made yourself pathetic enough for today.

What's Coming Up In 2025?

aka a list of fanfiction WIPs I really want to complete in the new year

So I wanted to make a post of my WIPs, getting excited about things I want to work on this upcoming year. Especially because I have recently been reflecting on fics I have written and been reminded of things I want to write in the future. Please keep in mind - this list is not a schedule, and it sure as hell is not a list of promises. Just because I am posting this list does not mean it's a checklist of things that are going to get done. I anticipate that realistically, I am going to actually finish, edit, and post maybe five of the fics on this list while getting caught up and distracted by brand new ideas - and if I can finish more than that, it'll be fucking fantastic. But please know - this is not a checklist, this is just a list of my WIPs that I really love and hope to finish. (And this is just a small portion of my WIPs - I have literally over 100, probably closer to 200.)

But I really wanted to let you guys know what my mindset is going into the new year and I do want to encourage you guys to share your opinions on which fics you would like to see me spend my time on (I am considering picking four or five of these that I am most excited about to be part of a poll to see which fic will be my first fic of the year, though I think that the second part of The Jaws of Life will have to be the very first thing I post in 2025.) Anyway - if you read this list, please let me know which fic ideas you like the best! To me, there is a big difference between nagging someone to post something (which is basically just asking someone when something will be posted) vs encouraging someone about their ideas and telling them that you are excited about upcoming ideas to show your support - which, the latter is always something I enjoy.

Also please let me know if there's any fics on this list that you guys want to see a preview for!

You and Isaac get stuck restocking the janitor's closet together during a detention punishment, and being in tight closed space with you, being drowned in your scent accidentally sends Isaac into a rut. Untitled aka 'The One Where Derek Rescues You From SA' - Derek Hale x Fem!Reader. Acquaintances/Friends to Lovers. Hurt and Comfort. Set during Season 2. When Matt uses the Kanima to hold Scott, Stiles, and their parents hostage at the police station, you attempt to come to their rescue - but you end up poisoned by the beast's paralytic venom, which puts you right in the path of Matt's wrath. And seeing you threatened gives Derek a true rush of adrenaline to get the venom out of his own system in order to come to your rescue before it's too late. (9,000 words est.)

The Curse of Curves - Jackson Whittemore x Fem!Thick!Reader. Enemies Who Fuck. Smut/PWP. Hate Sex. Set around Season 1. You and Jackson have despised each other for as long as you have known each other - but when you come back from a summer abroad with a new look, he starts acting even more infuriating toward you. You hate that the only way to shut him up is with your mouth against his. (8,000 words est.)

These next two fics are ideas that me and @star-mum discussed in the comments of this fic that I absolutely cannot get out of my head now and I really wanna write them.

Untitled aka 'The One Where They Get Caught' - Isaac Lahey x Scott's (Half) Sister Fem!Reader. Friends to Friends with Benefits to Lovers (feat. Protective Older Brother Scott). Smut, Emotional Angst, Happy Ending. Secret Relationship. Set during Season 3. When Isaac moves in with you and Scott after Derek kicks him out, Scott makes sure that he knows you are off limits. You are his 'innocent' little sister and he doesn't want anyone even looking at you the wrong way. But it's not long before you and Isaac can't help the temptation and it becomes a spark - and the two of you get heated behind closed doors. Which causes a huge blow up between the two best friends when Scott finds out. (10,000 words est.)

Untitled aka 'The One Where Stiles Wears Panties' - Switch!Isaac Lahey x Stiles' Dom Girlfiend Fem!Reader x Sub!Stiles Stilinski. (Set in the same universe as Stupid For You, but not a direct sequel.) Teasing Frenemy Joins Pre-Existing Relationship. Smut/PWP. Threesome. Set during Season 3. Isaac and Stiles run late after a cross country practice and Stiles (unknowingly) strips down in front of Isaac, thinking that he's alone in the locker room, revealing a pair of lace panties under his clothes that you had him wearing because it turns you on. This leads to mockery from Isaac - which quickly turns to sexual teasing when Stiles brings up your name. Obviously, a threesome ensues. (10,000 words est.)

I would also really love to start a 'Your First Kiss With The Teen Wolf Characters' Series similar to the one I have been doing with the Titans characters. (Maybe I'll call the series 'Your First Kiss With The Pack'?) I have been having so much fun with the Titans one, and I see a lot of potential with it in other fandoms - I think a 'First Kiss' moment is so much fun to write, and it really brings me back to my roots of writing simple romance, which I really love. DC Titans Fics

This is a fandom I will always write more for. This is currently the fandom I have written the most for on my AO3 and I will always come back to it, and I am really excited for these ideas!!

My first and biggest priority of this year is Part 2 of The Jaws of Life (Jason Todd x GN!Reader) - if you have read part one, thank you so much! I am so, so excited to edit and post the second part. The reason I haven't done so yet is because I wanted to give myself a relaxing holiday break and I didn't want to rush editing the second part, because it needs a lot of love and care to be as perfect as it needs to be. I am so excited about it though.

Death of An Executioner - Jason Todd x GN!Reader. Lovers Fighting. Hurt and Comfort, Extreme Angst, Happy Ending. Set during Season 3. Sequel to the above fic. You and Jason are standing on rocky ground. He feels like he owes Crane his life because the man literally brought him back from the dead, but you don't care about that - you just want to ditch Gotham and run away to chase peace somewhere else. Things get a lot more complicated when Crane realises he can use you to his advantage, and Jason finally has to go crawling back to the Titans, begging for their help. (10,000 words est.) (This will be the sequel to The Jaws of Life, ending out the story as a perfect trilogy. It is my ultimate goal to write this story sometime during 2025, finishing out the arc of the trilogy with my ideal perfect ending.)

Dick doesn't like the idea, and he downright hates it when he finds out that the person Bruce had been consulting with was you: his ex-girlfriend, someone he had been dating for a whole year before he found out that you were moonlighting as one of Gotham's most dangerous criminals. But he needs your help on this case. He didn't anticipate your cell walls being plastered with pictures of him and articles about his work the Titans. And when he goes to leave, you manage to reel him in with your words, still knowing how to crawl inside his brain and drive him mad, even after all this time apart. (5,000 words est.)

While bandaging you up after a fight, Gar sees a scar on your shoulder that he knows had to be from his claws, but he spirals into shock and horror when he realizes he has no memory of when it happened. This leads you into telling him the story of his very first transformation, and him truly remembering when he learned to gain control of his animal side, and more importantly - why.

Also, I really want to work more on the 'One Moment Per Episode With Dick Grayson' Series. I really want to write more of these between working on other fics. It's a lot of fun and I really want to make more progress on it!

Another fandom that I will always come back to. I am so excited about the ideas I have here, and even just the first idea I have on this list is sooo stuck in my head and it makes me tempted to not make a poll at all and to just write this fic lmao.

Criminal Minds Fics

Now, I am putting this on the list very tentatively. If people can't behave themselves, I am very likely to take this off the list and pretend it never happened. For the record, I don't want to be known as a Criminal Minds writer. I don't want people harassing me to ONLY write for this fandom, especially if they only want me to write PWP and smut for Reid when there is so much more I want to do. CM is a piece of media that I love dearly, and I really want to re-ignite that love - especially because @nctzenkane said that I do some of my "best, most ambitious" work for this fandom, and whenever he encourages me to do something, I am way, way more likely to do it. The list of fics below are fics that I regret not getting around to writing, so... hopefully I can actually get the motivation to complete them.

Jet Pack Blues - Derek Morgan x Fem!Reader. Co-Workers to Lovers. Smut/PWP. Forced Proximity. When Derek finds out that you're planning on leaving the BAU, he's incredibly hurt, and he spends the next several hours of the jet ride that just the two of you are on trying his best to convince you to stay - first with words, and then with the power of his cock. (6,000 words est.) (One of my biggest regrets is not writing a Derek smut fic, so I feel like I really need to get this out of my system.)

I also really, really want to write something with Serial Killer!Reader. You guys may know - I love writing horror as much as I love writing smut, and I would fucking love to write something where the Reader character is a crazed, unhinged morally corrupt character because I think it would be genuinely downright fun.

I also think it would be really fun to write another case fic where the reader is part of the team and it focuses more on the actual detective work, but I want a really good concept for it first. But idk - I don't want to be known just as a CM writer. I want more room to explore other fandoms without people nagging me down for stuff just from this fandom.

I would like to get at least one of these fics done for Halloween, because it's like four or five years running now that I have attempted to write a Halloween fic and not gotten it done on time. Maybe I should start writing my Halloween fic in like July or something this time lmao.

Turns out, he invited someone else along too. (9,000 words est.) (This one is entirely self indulgent because I think that Beck and Jade would be the perfect Ghostface duo.)

In Too Deep - Nick Jones (House of Wax) x Fem!Reader. Exes to Lovers. Smut, Emotional Angst, and Horror/Gore. Hurt No Comfort. When you are invited on a trip to see a football game out of state, you end up thinking it's a big mistake when your ex is also on the trip, and he spends the entire car ride glaring at you. It seems like an even worse idea when you're stuck sharing a tent with him. But after some feelings and a cigarette are shared, you find out - the trip wasn't such a bad idea after all. it was an accident. looking at the incident, i firmly believe it was very seriously fucked up, and they weren't in the right state of mind when it happened. consider the situation, the person you love most in the world is gone forever. in this situation, sunny completely closes in on himself and creates headspace. basil on the other hand sees sunny (his childhood best friend and the one he describes as 'perfect' and puts on a pedestal) completely having a mental breakdown. basil panics, not knowing what to do, because both of the people he idolize are gone - mari is dead, a part of sunny died with her. obviously he has a mental breakdown figuring out what to do, too?

obviously we should also consider basil's mental state at this point - pure speculation here, but basil, due to his feminine gender expression, would have been a victim of bullying, and the gang would have been his first friends. and basil photographs things he cherishes. that would mean he sees himself losing his friends when mari dies because sunny is most likely gonna be legally convicted of manslaughter right? in his disoriented, panicked mind, he wanted to protect sunny, the friend he most likely did have feelings for but was unable to admit them due to already being bullied, (that's just my hc dw) and did something that is super fucked up — he did more harm than good, but i believe he was just trying to fix everything back the way it was. we're absolutely going to talk about why Basil knows how to tie a noose, which adds to my point — basil might already have been mentally unwell (no doubt taking more shit from life than one is supposed to) BEFORE he met his friends, and he was desperately trying to salvage what little happiness he had left.

i cannot deny that sunnflower has full potential of being a very unhealthy and toxic relationship, but i might add that the true + secret ending has both Somethings disappear, implying that both of them are capable of healing. thats why i ship them manyyearsafter-canon or AU, bc therapy can fix shit ive seen it myself

ill end this little rant by a comment from j0kerclash on reddit:

Pairing them together is the implication that they are able to completely heal from their trauma, the actual dynamics of their relationship isn't toxic, it was the circumstances of their interactions combined with the context of the event itself. Sunny and Basil aren't permanently fucked up, I'd say it's quite harmful to imply that people are forever broken and can never truly recover. Considering the choices in the game are about confronting, accepting, and moving on from guilt and trauma, the best scenario for both Sunny and Basil, is if they were truly able to let go and not become triggers for each other, which is illustrated by them being unaffected by the potential toxicity of their past.

As we come to the end of one year and the start of another, I thought it would be a great idea to look ahead at what fanfictions I've got planned. Whether they all debut in 2024, I do not know!

To start with:

Tangled: Between the Kisses is an ongoing collaborative project between myself and @tangledbea and we will continue to work on this project in 2024. My hope by year's end is that we have reached the end of writing Season 2. There are a lot of fantastic storylines coming up with our S2 gang of Rapunzel, Eugene, Varian, Lance, the Captain of Corona, and Queen Arianna!

The Lost Prince is my current WIP exploring the idea of Eugene being kidnapped by Mother Gothel and used for his Moon powers. Rapunzel grew up a Princess without the sundrop with her best friend, Cassandra, who just so happens to be Eugene's hidden twin sister! Shenanigans ensue when all three meet up and secrets and lies are discovered! This fic should be finished by the end of January 2024.

Twinned Destiny is a AU spin-off of The Lost Prince. More of this prosect will be revealed once TLP is finished.

Darkest Intentions is an S3 AU. After gaining the Mind Trap, Cassandra decides to attempt to ensnare Eugere under its control after her ghost friend suggested they could use him to get the Sundrop from Rapunzel. Little does Cassandra know that her "friend" has her own plans afoot. This fic will focus heavily on the friendship of Cassandra and Eugene. I am hoping to start posting this fic early 2024...

Our Undying Dream is a callobarative project between myself and the amazing @twotangledsisters All I will say is this fic is a twist on the modern idea of Tangled and we are both really excited to share this fic with everyone! Stay tuned... for it is coming soon ...

Uprising is part one of two part duology exploring the idea of what if Old Corona had risen up against the Royal family? It is primarily a fic about Eugene and Varian. If you enjoy Eugene hurt/angst there will be plenty of it in this duology! I am hoping I can start posting this sometime in mid 2024.

The Royal Wedding is a 5-chaptered fic centered around New Dream's engagement, planning of a wedding, and their wedding day. It is going to be romantic fluff! I hope to post in February 2024 but it does depend if I've ever written it or not!

Team Awesome Adventure (untitled) is a 3-chaptered comping trip fic centered around Eugene and Varian. I hope to post this fic in March 2024!

A Queen's Story is a multi-chaptered story dealing with Arianna's grief at losing her daughter and then reuniting with the child she never saw grow up. Late 2024.

For both your Harpy and Alien au, how would the boys react and act if their Y/n suddenly cuddled them out of the blue because they either suddenly got really tired or they got sick with a cold?

(Mostly asking because I really want to see more fluff in fandoms. I believe there's currently more angst than fluff so ye. Also I love your art! It looks amazing!)

You technically broke the rule about asking as a human. But since you included the harpy au in your ask, I'll answer this as the creator.

Well since in the alien au, the boys are trained veterinarians so they would immediately know what to do. They would be able to determine what sort of sickness their y/n would have and give them the medicine they would need. Like they did in chapter 4 thru 5 when Stardust contracted the Starburst Pox.

And as of now in the harpy au, little Sundrop and Moondrop would try their best to comfort Y/N with snuggles, not knowing what they need to do to help. Fortunately, Y/N would of texted Ranger Freddy to bring them medicine. This would give the chicks a change to learn from the bear what to do the next time Y/N overwork themselves into a cold.

Read your fairy au fic, and based on how how things are right now. It seems like the boys are in an immense amount of stress or pressure, one with suns need to help moon, moons overexertion of working back to back, and possibly lunar feeling left out. (?)

But based on that if anything the best course of action is really, or what makes more sense is for lunar to have more involvement with moons duties as a moondrop fairy. I mean lunar is supposed to be a helper after all! So the idea of him at least assisting in letting the nightmare out of holding into place seems the most realistic or at the very least weaken it!

Suns plan, it may be a bit of a reach. Although he’s a sundrop fairy it’s really hard to tell whether his theory is indeed correct on whether he can just use his own powers of light against a nightmare and changing it. Though if that was the case wouldn’t something like a nightmare avoid sun in the first place since if he had the ability to change nightmares, wouldn’t they avoid someone/something like a sundrop fairy? Hard to tell, or know really. If sun were to try it again probably best to test that one out with some who does have the power to pull nightmares(moon). Which goes back to the first theory of lunar being more of a backbone when it comes to nightmares and managing them…

The boys are indeed stressed! They all feel the need to do something, and they are not letting each other do it, and it's creating this block that no one seems to get around.

And of course the solution would be to involve Lunar more. But is Moon willing to lower his pride and ask for his help? Moon is stubborn and difficult to sway at times. Like Sun, he has things done a certain way. He feels it is his job to protect Sun, and that means pushing him away when it comes to his nightly duties. You could say Moon has a "his way or the highway" kind of thinking. At the point of the most recent chapter, he is still learning to trust Lunar. But his way of doing that is unhelpful and stifling. Dare I say, toxic.

And Sun's theory, sadly, is incorrect. There really is nothing he can do with the nightmares, it's just not in his nature nor something he is responsible for. Only Moon and Lunar are capable of handling the nightmares. So his attempts were all for naught, and he doesn't know it yet.

I finally finished I See You, Sundrop! by @shirajellyfish

Slight spoily warning!

It is 1:14 in the morning as I write this (editing about a day later) and I have my first day of my senior year of high school tomorrow, but I just had to get all of my thoughts out while they were fresh.

I have never, never hyperfixated on a fanfic so hard. I've never read 400k+ words of a single fic in under a week. Somehow I managed to do that and have time to draw fanart (something I'm pretty sure I've only done once before for a fic, actually) and do my irl life shit.

How, you may ask? By continuously staying up into the wee hours of the morning :D (like 4-6am type shit, don't recommend it even if I think it was personally worth it).

I think I was so hyperfixated on the fic that I honestly didn't absorb the emotions like I should have? I felt things, surprise, excitement, a Sense of Impending Doom (/hj), but I don't think I really felt them.

I was probably a little more dissociated while reading than I usually am lol. I was so absorbed that some things barely registered. I am 100% going to have to re-read everything.

At one point I worried the fic wouldn't have a happy ending. Doesn't have the "angst with a happy ending" tag afaik and it got much worse before it got better. Saw a comment on one of the end notes and was reassured thankfully TvT. I'm very happy everyone is ok.

Love how the after ending note basically boiled down to "everyone is fine and Felix finally got some sleep" lol.

This fic was just. So good. Riley is such a dynamic character, so awesome and so cool. I really want to headcanon them as autistic (some of their behaviors just. They just. It's hard to explain, but if you're autistic too I bet you probably felt it, just a lil. They got the vibes /hj) but I know some authors can be kinda iffy about people headcanoning their OCs (which I get).

It was really cool to see an honest to goodness nonbinary character, a full character and not a self insert or y/n (no shade, I love y/n stories too). It was just cool to see a complete OC, and I love that it was all platonic, even if Sundrop did catch a little bit of feelings.

Honestly I relate so much to that, as someone who gains and loses crushes pretty fast. I'm happy it stayed platonic though and Sunny wasn't hurt or stuck pining or something silly. Plus his absolute embarrassment and mortification at his slip up was pretty funny. Might try to draw it, if I have any left over motivation (the bottom of this post sure is interesting hint hint).

Update as I'm editing this about a day later: I can't stop thinking about this fic. It was just so good! I already want to re-read it but I know I should give it at least a little time so I don't burn myself out. This fic was probably the best story I've ever read. Period. Even better than the published books I've read.

Honestly without spoiling any more than I already have, read it. If you like the DCA, read it. If you like cool nonbinary characters and great platonic relationships, read it. If you like a plot that sneaks up on you before hitting you in the feels like a truck, read. It. Do it. It's sososo worth it, I promise you.

If anyone has some good fics to read (completed preferred but actively updated ones work too) PLEASE FEED ME. Now that I'm done with ISYS I am desperate for more DCA fics. I've read so many and I n e e d m o r e.
