My today's draw for Tikal/Shadow shipp
And, SUDDENLY...
SHADIKAL AND ROUGE IN STM STYLE
Au name " Satam Strangers"
I'm touched by my short Rouge, she's so funny😭
In my opinion, in the universe of SatAm, Shadow wouldn't become Eggman's weapon and wouldn't be a villain at all. In his adventure, Shadow found Tikal the spirit in the temple and was able to recruit her to his team thanks to the Chaos Emerald, to which Tikal's soul is bound.
Tikal was lonely in the temple, and Shadow felt sorry for her :(
After that, Vampire Rouge joined their team. She's small, but agile and cunning, a clever bat.
You can ask me about all details!

[France was once expected to join the Commonwealth]
Today I found some interesting information.
As I said in the previous post, I was very surprised to read on 2 wiki pages that France almost joined the Commonwealth. However, in the previous post I was a bit hasty in making the judgment that the UK would not let France join the Commonwealth. In fact, the UK was VERY EXCITED about the idea of France joining the Commonwealth, but…
The whole story is like this: around 1956, France was trying to deal with Egyptian President Gamel Abdel Nasser's desire to nationalize the Suez Canal, so the French prime minister secretly negotiated with the British prime minister to prevent this from happening. In general, the whole Suez Canal affair was a mess and there is nothing to say, but that is not the main point of this post. Here is the main point:
In order to attract Britain to cooperate and tolerate it completely, France proposed an Anglo-French "alliance". Original text: "When the French Prime Minister, Monsieur Mollet was recently in London he raised with the prime minister the possibility of a union between the United Kingdom and France."
British Prime Minister Anthony Eden refused because it sounded too absurd. So Mr Mollet proposed another solution: how about France joining the Commonwealth and swearing allegiance to the King/Queen?
Reading this far, I was like:
???????
In fact, the British Prime Minister was EXTREMELY EXCITED about the proposal for France joining the Commonwealth :D and I think one of the reasons why Britain agreed to participate in the Suez Canal plan was because of this crazy proposal. This is just my personal opinion, that is, Britain wanted to declare the French monarchy for hundreds of years without abandoning it, even putting that wish on the Canadian flag, so the idea of France joining the Commonwealth and swearing allegiance to the King/Queen is no different from Britain's wildest dream coming true :)
But the problem is, the British and French plan in Egypt was not successful. And because of the Suez Crisis, the whole of West Asia became hostile to colonialism, and the US also squeezed the British and French and kicked Britain out of its imperial position. And because the Suez Canal campaign failed, the agreement for France to join the Commonwealth was no longer valid.
This proposal of Prime Minister Mollet was classified as a state secret document, and was only declassified at the beginning of the 21st century. Historians and politicians who read this were shocked.
All of this is summarized from the BBC: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/6261885.stm
Well, this reminds me of something quite interesting in APH.
Do you remember this strip?
Yes, I assure you, the reason Himaruya drew these two as if they were about to get married was because of the BBC article that I just linked above =)))))))))))) because the title of the article was "When Britain and France nearly married" =))))))))))))))))))
However, Himaruya seemed to want to "bend" the event to fit his character setup or something, or because of his point of view, he turned this into a comedy proposal between England and France. The half-joking, half-serious style, France forced England to sign the marriage papers while England flatly refused LOL. Himaruya also didn't mention the Commonwealth agreement.
In my opinion, the "nearly married" part of the British newspaper title does not refer to the Anglo-French union proposed by Mollet as in the APH strip above, but only to the later proposal, that France join the Commonwealth =))))))))))) because the British immediately rejected the idea of uniting the British and French as one, but considered the idea of France joining the Commonwealth very, very seriously. You guys just read the newspaper link above, when the British side received that proposal, they were very excited.
Let's move forward a bit to this year. France was expected to join the Commonwealth and that event was compared by the BBC to "nearly married". In 2024, France became the FIRST NON-COMMONWEALTH country to attend the Changing of the Guard ceremony at Buckingham Palace, British soldiers guarded the Élysée Palace and French soldiers guarded Buckingham Palace. Make sense yet?
Ps: at the end of the BBC article, the author did not forget to mention the EEC ha ha ha ha.

Are there any solo roleplaying games you'd recommend? I know you mentioned you haven't been playing much, but as a GM I don't hear enough folks talking about solo games!
I have actually been playing a lot more since I started making the 3d model! I managed to get my analogue kit to a real good place, I'll share some links and photos at the end of this post.
First, some game and resource recommendations before I get carried away with anything else!
Winsome (stripped down hack of Ironsworn, simple and easy to get started with)
Ironsworn (A solo game of viking fantasy, very active and helpful community)
Iron Valley (A cozy hack for Ironsworn and Starforged for your Stardew Valley/Animal Crossing inspired games)
Mythic GME v2 (System agnostic game master emulator)
Homebrew World (Dungeon world hack for one-shots, fits surprisingly well for solo play)
The Perilous Wilds (World-building tools and tables)
Worlds Without Number (World-building tools and tables)
The Valley Standard (Style guide for notes)
I originally struggled with solo since I tended to go really hard on prose, every scene took forever and the lack of progress discouraged me to pick up my games again. I had tried playing Dungeon World with Mythic GME and Ironsworn and besides getting stuck with the prose, the rules were little overwhelming to manage as well.
In an attempt to force me to be more brief with my notes and get over the rule paralysis, I took a small A6 notebook and printed a sheet of Winsome with the intention to play during travel. The limited space and simple rules really helped to get the ball going for me. I eventually took that same character to Ironsworn when I started to wish for more structure and mechanics and I actually managed to finish a full campaign a while ago.
I'm currently playing Homebrew World with Mythic GME v2 and some tables and additional rules from The Perilous Wilds.
I'm really happy with my current kit. I spent way too much money on this STM notebook pouch, but I would be lying if I said it hasn't been extremely useful and versatile for other future use 😂
I also saw this pop-up dice tray being recommended on Discord, but this is where I got cheap and just eyeballed the patterns based on the photos 😅 It's very neat design and can fit to a small place, I really recommend it.
Thank you for the question! I got bit carried away, but I do like talking about solo games even if it is very "for me from me" kind of hobby 😄

ex-stm student voice : what do you MEAN you dont have the military showing up on your orientation day and on some random wednesday several months before graduation to urge you to enlist???
seriously i just realized how weird my highschool was compared to other highschools in the area. i guess since stm (technical vocational schools) are schools with boys as a majority and the reputation that these kids are somehow more rebellious so they have to redirect that energy somewhere...
luckily my brother who recently entered highschool said he hasn't experienced any of that "military" style education so things are changing i guess

Happy STS! Here go a few questions for y’all: What are your favorite parts of the storytelling process? As a writer, what would you say are your biggest writing strengths and weaknesses (as in, what are the things that are easiest/most difficult to write for you)? What is the most seld-indulgent thing you can write about (as in, what are the kinds of scenes/storylines that you will love to write about no matter what genre, style or context you’re writing in)?
Happy STM (Storyteller Monday)! Thanks for the ask! (I fucked up the numbers again, so pay no attention to them. The questions are answered in order).
Dialogue. I find it the most fun and I think it's probably one of the elements I'm best at. As I've mentioned before, since I write out of order, I usually find myself writing dialogue first and then filling in everything around it.
Strengths: Dialogue again. Weaknesses: Anything that involves fighting or action-heavy sequences. I don't have good spatial reasoning and so it's hard to envision scenes like this in my head. I usually have to YouTube videos in order to get the precise movements down, and even then I have to outline everything step by step before I put it down on paper.
What else but WHUMP, specifically anything to do with captivity/prison/shackles/chains/etc. Case in point: there's actually a flashback scene in The Adored -- a romantic thriller and not a whump story per se -- that I've kept in through successive drafts where the female MC Isley (the only POV character) elaborately scams her way into a closed juvenile court hearing just so I have an excuse to show the male MC Micah restrained in custody (and also covered in bruises from getting beaten up by a corrupt cop who's out to get him). In other words, I'm the worst. I mean, yes, there actually are plot reasons for it, too, but anyone who knows my, um, peculiar tastes would immediately recognize how self-indulgent it is (and I wrote it long before I was even aware of whump as a distinct concept, I just knew I wanted it in there!). 😂

Final Cut Pro 11 Starts A New Mac Video Editing Chapter
Apple released Final Cut Pro 11 today, which is packed with strong improvements for Final Cut Pro for iPad, Final Cut Camera, and Logic Pro, as well as clever new features. Final Cut Pro 11 for Mac allows spatial video projects to be imported, edited, and delivered straight to Apple Vision Pro, along with new features like Magnetic Mask and the much awaited Transcribe to Captions.
Enhance Light and Color support, new Live Drawing inks, haptic feedback, even more built-in material, such as color-grading presets and dynamic soundtracks, and other significant workflow enhancements are just a few of the ways that Final Cut Pro for iPad 2.1 enhances the touch-first editing experience. The user-friendly professional recording program for iPhone, Final Cut Camera 1.1, now supports 4K 120 fps recording on the iPhone 16 Pro, allows you to use a preview lookup table (LUT) while recording, and allows you to capture log-encoded HEVC video for lesser file sizes. Additionally, Logic Pro for Mac 11.1 and Logic Pro for iPad 2.1 integrate a new Quantec Room Simulator plug-in to enhance songwriting, beat-making, producing, and mixing.
The App Store now offers the latest versions of Final Cut Pro 11 for Mac and iPad, Final Cut Camera, and Logic Pro for Mac and iPad.
Final Cut Pro 11 and Logic Pro are quicker and smarter than ever with the power of Apple silicon and cutting-edge machine learning capabilities. With improved color grading masking, incredible sound processing, and more workflow agility and efficiency, these new improvements provide creative pros with additional stylistic interpretations to experiment with.
Final Cut Pro 11
With features like spatial video editing, the much-anticipated Transcribe to Captions feature that offers quick and precise closed captions, the robust and user-friendly Magnetic Mask, and a number of time-saving tools and workflow enhancements, Final Cut Pro 11 makes the most of Apple’s M-series chips.
AI-Powered Features
Magnetic Mask and Transcribe to Captions are two brand-new AI-powered features available to editors in Final Cut Pro 11. Without a green screen or more laborious rotoscoping, editors may quickly separate individuals and objects in a video clip with Magnetic Mask. More customization options for backdrops and surroundings are made possible by this strong and accurate algorithmic analysis. In order to properly manage and style every project, editors may now combine Magnetic Mask with color correction and video effects. Additionally, Transcribe to Captions uses a big language model developed by Apple to transcribe spoken audio, allowing closed captions to be automatically created in the timeline.
Together with other AI-powered capabilities made available by Apple’s Neural Engine, Magnetic Mask and Transcribe to Captions include:
Smart Conform makes it simple to create square or vertical project versions that are social media-friendly.
To automatically enhance a video or still image’s color, color balance, contrast, and brightness, choose Enhance Light and Color.
For the best movement, use Smooth Slo-Mo to create and combine video frames, including 4K120 fps video from an iPhone 16 Pro.
Voice Isolation reduces background noise from field-captured audio while improving speech and sound levels.
Spatial Video Editing for Apple Vision Pro
With Apple Vision Pro, customers may record and replay life’s priceless moments using spatial video. With the addition of spatial video editing capabilities in Final Cut Pro 11, editors may now import their footage, apply effects, adjust color, and add titles to their projects. During the editing process, titles and recorded video may also have their depth positions changed. Direct recording of spatial video clips is possible with Vision Pro, the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 16, and Canon’s new RF-S7.8mm F4 STM DUAL lens in conjunction with the Canon R7.
Users may examine the left- and right-eye angles on their Mac display by selecting from a variety of viewing modes. Additionally, they may import their edit into Apple Vision Pro using Mac Virtual Display, which enables them to create a massive, private, and portable display that is perfect for intricate processes. Users will be able to enlarge Mac Virtual Display to a new panoramic scale later this year, resulting in a huge 32:9 ultra-wide curved display that is comparable to two 5K displays placed side by side. Users may watch spatial films instantly on Vision Pro, export them straight to their Photos collection, or share them with others by uploading them to the native Vimeo app for visionOS.
Timesaving Features, Blazing Speeds, and Pro Creative Tools
Advanced editing capabilities in Final Cut Pro assist further optimize creative operations and save time:
A trackless method of editing video, Magnetic Timeline provides a smooth way to cut and edit a production. Editors may easily add and rearrange clips, making changes while maintaining perfect synchronization between audio and video.
Users may move between shots while a project is playing back and rapidly sync several views using multicam editing. Additionally, users may move clips and change the timeline’s display using additional keyboard shortcut options.
Editors can add playback effects, share their work with others at lightning speed, and play back additional streams of 4K and 8K ProRes video at full quality with optimizations for Apple hardware.
With improved proxy tools, editors may produce a lightweight version of their library, reducing file sizes to further reduce transfer times.
Compressor allows editors to import previously stereoscopic film to reformat and connect with spatial video footage for an integrated editing experience, as well as establish custom export settings to publish file types for their job.
Motion can create gorgeous 2D and 3D titles, generators, and advanced visual effects in Final Cut Pro.
Final Cut Pro for iPad 2.1
Favorite features are added to the touch-first editing experience in Final Cut Pro for iPad 2.1. Enhance Light and Color, powered by Apple silicon, is a clever method that optimizes SDR, HDR, RAW, and log-encoded data and allows you to easily increase color, color balance, contrast, and brightness in still photographs or videos. Users will experience a gentle pulse as they move media, trim clips, explore the timeline, and resize viewer clips to snapping points with haptic feedback for the Apple Pencil Pro and Magic Keyboard.
The ability to dynamically change the viewer’s size and position in Picture in Picture mode, a new vertical pinch gesture that can increase or decrease clip height in the timeline, and timeline support for recordings at 90, 100, and 120 frames per second on the iPhone 16 Pro are additional significant workflow enhancements.
With expressive new watercolor, crayon, fountain pen, and monoline pen choices, users can add even more animations to films using new inks for the iPad’s Live Drawing function. Additionally, new modular transitions, color-grading presets, dynamic soundtracks, and the capability to effortlessly highlight and overlay images using Picture in Picture and Callout effects are added to the content collection.
Final Cut Camera
For both novice and experienced filmmakers, Final Cut Camera 1.1 offers user-friendly pro controls. The upgrade allows users to record Log-encoded HEVC video in standalone or Live Multicam sessions, allowing them to benefit from smaller file sizes and even longer recording times while using Log’s incredible dynamic range. Additionally, users may activate a LUT preview in Log when recording with Final Cut Camera, displaying the original scene’s vibrancy in SDR or HDR using the Apple Log LUT. For even more fluid cinematic slow motion, users may capture stunning and clear 4K 120 fps video with the iPhone 16 Pro, upload it into Final Cut Pro for iPad, and start editing.
Roll and tilt indications in a new advanced level assist users in accurately composing pictures, while Final Cut Camera adds a crosshairs indicator for top-down views.
Logic Pro for Mac 11.1 and Logic Pro for iPad 2.1
Songwriting, beat-making, production, and mixing are all enhanced by Logic Pro for Mac and iPad, which also works well with Final Cut Pro editors. The new Quantec Room Simulator plug-in, which was developed using the original schematics, algorithms, and code of Quantec founder and inventor Wolfgang Buchleitner, enhances that experience even further. It lets users access the renowned sound of the most acoustically accurate reverb ever produced. Customers may choose between the current Quantic Yardstick for enhanced clarity and detail or the classic Quantec QRS to offer organic acoustic space to music while maintaining sound character. For video editors who want to include realistic-sounding locations into dialogue, foley, and music, the Quantec QRS technology is an excellent tool.
Users may move channel strips about using Reorder Mixer Channels, and they can even choose several channel strips to reorder them all at once. Users of Logic Pro for Mac may now search by category, business name, or even a portion of a plug-in name to make it simpler to locate and add any plug-in directly using a keyboard command. Additionally, Logic Pro for iPad adds Sample Folders, which allow users to access their own sample collection via iCloud Drive, external storage, and the built-in Sound Browser on the iPad.

Is Affiliate Marketing Saturated?
Affiliate marketing is a popular and lucrative industry that has gained significant momentum over the past few years.
With its low barriers to entry and the potential for high earnings, it's no wonder that many people are looking to jump on the affiliate marketing bandwagon.
However, with so many people entering the field, it begs the question: is affiliate marketing saturated?
The short answer is no, affiliate marketing is not saturated.
Do you know? - “Did you know that the entire affiliate marketing industry is worth $17 Billion, and 16% of all sales in the USA come from affiliate marketing?” – Samcart Affiliate Newsletter
While it's true that there are a lot of people involved in affiliate marketing, there is still plenty of room for new entrants to make their mark.
In fact, many successful affiliates have built their businesses from scratch in highly competitive niches.
To understand why affiliate marketing is not saturated, it's important to look at the bigger picture.
The internet continues to grow at an exponential rate, and more and more people are coming online every day.
This means that there are constantly new opportunities and markets opening up for affiliates to tap into.
Additionally, the rise of social media and influencer marketing has created even more avenues for affiliate marketers to explore.
With platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, affiliates can easily reach a large audience and promote products or services in a way that feels authentic and genuine.

Furthermore, if you take it seriously, owning your own website or blog enables you to earn money online in a variety of ways.
Another reason why affiliate marketing is not saturated is that every affiliate brings their own unique voice and perspective to the table.
Even if you're promoting the same product as someone else, your approach and style will be different, which can resonate with a specific audience that may not have been reached before.
That being said, it's important to note that affiliate marketing does require hard work, dedication, and continuous learning.
Success in this industry is not guaranteed, and those who are willing to put in the effort will always have an advantage over those who are looking for quick wins.
Remember this - “Treat Affiliate Marketing as the business that it is. There is no easy money to be made! AM is a serious business with all its pros and cons, so treat it like one. Be ready to invest, be ready to fail, and be ready to work!” – STM Forum
In conclusion, while there are a lot of people involved in affiliate marketing, the industry is far from saturated.
With the ever-expanding online landscape and the ability to carve out your own unique niche, there are still plenty of opportunities for new affiliates to thrive.
So if you're considering getting into affiliate marketing, don't let the fear of saturation hold you back.
Instead, focus on creating valuable content, building relationships with your audience, and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and strategies.
