the opening scene in jawan is just so epic! pathaan's "zinda hai", Don 2's entire opening sequence are unforgettable in terms of action. K3G definitely gives him one of the most iconic scenes ever in terms of hindi cinema

Is there a particular scene or character that lives rent free in your head?

Vikram Rathore's interval scene, Veer Pratap Singh, Raees, Om Prakash Makhija, the list goes on...

my srk favorites playlist has like 80 songs so this is tough to answer but Radha is just so joyful! Banke tera jogi, jhoome jo pathaan, tumse milke dil ka, maahi ve have all stuck with me

Probably something about the poems and backstories he writes for his characters, always wanted to know more about that...

1) SRK movie you've lost track of how many times you've watched it? Oh god, I can’t say. I have so many I’ve seen a million times but some of them are Duplicate, Baadshah, Josh, Yes Boss, Mohabbatein, Asoka, Om Shanti Om, and Main Hoon Na.

2) Favorite entry scene? It has to be Veer Zaara. He looked absolutely dreamy and I love how the movie started off with a lovely song.

3) Is there a particular scene or character that lives rent free in your head? I’ll have to say this & this one from Josh. Those rewired my brain chemistry as a child lol. Characters? Arun Verma, that sexy asshole. Vikram Rathore, the sluttiest old man. And Pathaan, my gorgeous scrungly thot <3

4) Got a favorite musical number? Too many! The iconic & legendary Chaiyya Chaiyya, Kaal Dhamaal, Chammak Challo, Marjaani, Osaka Muraiya, Badshaah O Baadshah, Banke Tera Jogi, Not Ramaiya Vastavaiya, Zinda Banda, Ishq Kamina…the list goes on and on.

‘Pathaan 2’ script is ready for dialogues, reveals Abbas Tyrewala

The second part of the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer ‘Pathaan’ seems to be moving at a brisk pace. The spy action film, which starred SRK in the titular role, turned out to be one of the biggest blockbusters of all times. And now with ‘Pathaan 2’, the recent update is that the script of the film is ready for dialogues.

Recently, writer-director Abbas Tyrewala appeared on a podcast with Cyrus Broacha, and spoke about the film. He said, “I believe the script is almost ready for dialogue”. While he was at it, he also expressed hope that he would be offered to write the script of the action film. He also said that currently the shoot of ‘War 2’ is underway.

Pathaan 2 Confirmed: Shah Rukh Khan to Start Filming in End of 2024

It’s official: Pathaan 2 Confirmed. Shah Rukh Khan would play Pathaan again in a follow-up, according to a new report. Apparently, the movie will start shooting later this year. According to rumors, Aditya Chopra directly collaborated with his team on the script and is laying the groundwork for larger confrontations in Pathaan 2, which may lead to further espionage flicks under the YRF label.

Ah, there are a few...but I'm going to go with Paheli. Love everything about that movie (except the mustache). I don't know how many times I've put it on telling myself I'll just watch a bit of it, then end up watching the whole thing.

2. Favorite entry scene?

That would be Happy New Year...for reasons 😏

3. Is there a particular scene or character that lives rent free in your head?

Dev Saran. We drink a lot of coffee and talk shit about people. Pathaan also drops in pretty regularly. But whenever I need to renew my faith in romance I watch that last train-station scene in KANK.

4. Got a favorite musical number?

So hard to choose! The craziness of Chaiyya Chaiyya, the romance of Main Agar Kahoon, and I certainly did my part to get Jhoome Jo Pathaan to 1B views. But I'm gonna have to go with Morey Piya. Haven't stopped thinking about it since the first time I watched Devdas.

5. If you could ask SRK one question, what would it be?

I'd probably have to stop myself from asking "What exactly is your body-fat percentage?" 😂

I'd really love to ask him how he develops his characters. Every actor seems to do it differently, and the process has always interested me. (Also, it would require him to give a long answer, so I'd get to listen to him talk *swoon*)

I just saw jawan on netflix.

it was mid.

If you're opening your movie with a white saviour trope I just ain't gonna be with it. I know srk isn't white so that trope name doesn't apply but that trope DOES apply.

Oh, these mountainside village folk take care of this strange man who washed ashore? And we see in detail the homeopathic treatment he's getting from a literal staff bearing village elder to treat his wounds? And then we cut to 3 months later without any development or anything as to who these villagers are? and then suddenly there's a carnival of violence committed against these villagers (who btw look ethnically nothing like the prominent characters in the movie.)?

And then we see the village elder praying to his deity statue and we get the tried and tested Indian movie trope of 'Won't you send anyone, anyone to save us dear god' and it cuts to SRK's hands twitching. and then he stands high up on a rock and his silhouette looks like the deity the village elder was praying to. And then I literally skipped past 2 minutes of the action scene following this as he kills all the unnamed randos who were murdering these villagers.

Like... Hey. Movie. Is it ok if I call you movie? You set the tone, you set what your vibe is, you set everything up to be exactly what I do not gel with. But you're also a mass masala flick by Atlee. I understand that. That's your identity. So I have to, despite myself, turn part of my mind off and then watch as you play up your 'messages' to the audience.

But like I'm already rolling my eyes at your opening so I know for sure it'll take a lot for me to take you at anything other than face value. And like I get it. Maybe you don't want to be taken more than at face value. But I'm me. I'm a guy who wants to have a good time. And the only way I know how is to poke and prod beyond your surface to get into the sauce. And sadly you're no Heinz® 57 Sauces. You're barely 5.

anyway then I saw the reviews and discussions and learned that it's apparently leagues better than pathaan.

now I'm intrigued and want to see pathaan. but I know im gonna hate it.

anyway I really want to see vijay sethupathi not play a villain in big movies like these like I love his villain portrayals but man's like the best actor (big personal bias) in any joint he's in. give him something better to work with.
