Feel you, because I always end up kinning the depressed / anxious / suicidal characters in the hope that I'm gonna witness a story of how even the worst of scenarios can find their way out.

And then the author kills them and I fall into a spiral of "does it ever get better? is there hope?"

All I can say is that I'm staying strong because there are more chapters to come. I hate so much the trope of the antagonist self-sacrificing so they can reach redemption... Begging over here that's not Tomura's case (specially because it doesn't fit the story or the development or the narrative of bnha so far!!!).

Meanwhile I'm coping by listening to the saddest songs and raging over the injustice of it all.

I think you like it when I mess up your look princesa.." he said lowly kissing the side of my neck while I melted into his hands but then he pulled away whispering "but I want to show you off tonight so let's go" and you nodded with blushed cheeks. "Welcome Sr. Gavi and Srñ. Y/l/n" they greeted you at the entrance of the club where the even took place and you walked in hand in hand looking around the crazy atmosphere.

There was light everywhere, loud music made for dancing and it was packed with your friends and various Spanish football stars.

"Hola Gavi!" Nacho walked up to us and Pablo smiled shaking his arm with that infamous 'guy shake' boys always do that made no sense to us girls. Then he pulled me close introducing me to his teammate.

"This is my girlfriend, Y/n" he said and the man took your hand kissing it like a true gentleman.

"I've seen you at the stands during the finals cheering for your boy but aren't you a lucky cabrón to have such a beautiful lady Gavi!?" he said and Pablo smiled nodding his head and kissing the top of my head lovingly while his hold tightened.

"Very lucky" he said with a smile

As much as he was proud to "show me off", he wasn't a fan of other men giving me compliments only meant to come out of his mouth. My possessive angry bird was surfacing!

As I got a bit more relaxed and saw a group of my friends, also Barça wags, I went to have a drink with them while Pablo stayed with some of his teammates at the bar.

"Be good princesa, I'm watching you" he smirked kissing the side of my neck and I blushed nodding my head and pecking his lips. I loved when he got dominant like this.

After a few drinks, I got into the mood to dance so I walked towards my man snaking my arms around his torso and he turned to look at me with a bright smile on his face.

"Que pasa preciosa? Miss me?" he said with a smirk and you smiled nodding your head as he turned around and raised my chin up to look at him.

"I want to dance Pablito" you say after he pulled away from a kiss and he smiled raising his eyebrows and nodding his head.

"Then let's dance preciosa. Excuse me boys" he said walking with you to the dance floor grabbing your whips and pulling your bum against him not wanting anybody to look at you.

"Have I told you how great you look tonight, amor?" he whispered into my ear pulling me even closer as my bum started to slowly rub against him as our bodies moved in sync.

"Mhm..you did..but is it just tonight I look good?" you smirked and he sighed kissing the side of your neck while your hips started moving more against him making him groan.

"You know you make me weak every day preciosa..when you wear my hoodies around the house because you are always cold..when you wear my jersey during the games..when you wear these dresses that made me go crazy..but I like it the most when you don't wear anything at all" he bit my ear after saying that last part and I giggled reminding him that we were in public.

"Joder! You fit me so well! Let's go home right now! I can't wait any longer!" he pulled me close as we pushed past the crowd giggling while exiting the club and going to our car with blushed cheeks.

where do you think you'd fall on the political spectrum if you were a random citizen in 1917 Russia?

hard question to answer. anybody born and raised in early 20th century russia is so different from me in their life experience we're not the same person, and if present-me were stranded by a time travel accident in the past, it would be be tempting, knowing who wins the civil war, to throw my lot in with the winning side. after arranging to have stalin pushed under a train so i don't get purged down the line.

but if you ask who winning would, for me, be the closest thing to a "happy ending" in the russian civil war, well, that's a hard question. given how most of the parliamentary democracies in europe turned out post-ww1 in the long run, a liberal victory might have been OK--but that would require liberal leaders who weren't dolts like kerensky. i have a lot of sympathy for the SRs. but ultimately this question perhaps reduces to just "what is your political ideology," and since i am someone with strong socialist sympathies who is also a big fan of democracy, to me the ideal outcome would have been a constituent assembly leading to a coalition left government that ends the war, focuses on rebuilding the country, and doesn't resort to massive political repression to stay in power indefinitely.

is that a path that was actually historically possible? i don't know. perhaps not. the liberal and left (except for the bolsheviks) commitment to stay in the war was incredibly stupid. an act of profound political incompetence in retrospect.

I am still unsatisfyed with the amount of gacha currency we get. Pretty much the only way to farm it is clearing songs, but once you maxed out everything released at the moment even that is over. Any tips for/from free to play gamers?

its definitely been improved a lot already, (including the wish tones from the many apology gifts that we've gotten recently) but there are for sure still some issues. It seems to be a common complaint, combined lately with having 3 URs in one banner, but so far the dev team seems to be pretty quick at responding to critique so I'm interested to see if it gets addressed again.

As far as tips go, it all comes down to being consistent and participating in the games events. Having said that, a lot of advice does inevitably come across very pro-gambling (ew) even in a f2p sense (eg: "just be patient and you'll hit big someday!") so definitely always be aware that gacha is still a form of gambling and to only go as far your brain will allow you while still having fun.

There aren't too many methods to getting wish tones at the moment. Most are finite, so this may not be too helpful, but off the top of my head ways to get tones at the moment are:

Take part in events. (Current event has 1000 wish tones available through event point rewards, and more for final ranking.)

Login daily to receive login bonuses.

Complete your daily missions (100 tones daily, enough to do a x10 wish approximately every 3.5 weeks)

Get an S score and S combo on as many songs as you can to get the rewards. (1120 tones per difficulty, total of 4480 tones if you SS every difficulty for every song atm)

Clear the main story. (50 tones per episode, total of 1550 atm)

Redeem gold crowns for wish tones in the exchange, but the rate isn't great. (5 crowns for 20 tones)

Clear the third episode of an SR or URs piece story (20 tones)

Other Tips:

Use gacha tickets when you're tempted to use wish tones. In the long run it may be good to save tickets, but at the moment it seems better to spend a couple of tickets if it will help save wish tones.

Keep track of the official twitter, fan coverage, and in-game notices to stay up to date on upcoming and current events, login bonuses, etc. so you don't miss any potential wish tones.

Saving is an important part of games like this. It's a marathon not a race, so don't worry if your teams aren't that strong at the moment and just have fun while you wait for your favourite characters to get new pieces.

Oh man, I can only imagine how Agnia and Livius would react if they have strong friendships with her.

I can imagine Livius sobbing in Agnia's arms, both mourning the loss of their friend. When Livius spots Amen, he flies into a rage.

"All she ever did was love you! She was only guilty of loving you! You made her die! YOU KILLED HER!" He'd scream, falling to his knees. Tears drip from his eyes as he looks up at the sky.

"If only it'd been me, I could've..." he stops speaking. Agnia kneels beside him, wrapping her arms around his shoulders.

When she looks at Amen...she is livid. Anger is deep inside her, because she saw a common spirit within Eva as if she understood her plight. Livius excuses himself, and Agnia walks back home.

Two days later, in the privacy of her house, she mourns her dead friend. She'd cuddle Afiri/Omphis in her bed, or would stand by the window stroking Polyb's wings.

"I'll take care of them, kitten," she promises. "They're in safe hands."

A knock on the door stops her. Closing her eyes, she doesn't answer as the door opens, but she doesn't have to look to know who it is.

"Agnia," it's Amen's voice. She whimpers as tears run down her cheeks

"Agnia?" She can hear his footsteps. "I-"

Unable to hold back, Agnia sobs. She buries her face in Afiri/Omphis's fur or Polyb's wings. Amen stops midway, noticing her shaking visibly. She can't look at him, not after what he did.

"Oh Gods, why her?" She sobs. She turns to Amen. He can't look at her.

They stand there in silence, a long silence. Agnia sniffles and clears her throat.

"I...I will be leaving this place."

Amen is silent. Agnia holds Omphis/Afiri or Polyb perches himself on her arm.

"It feels hollow and empty. With Evthys, it was different. But now...I will not stay here. Not anymore."

"Where will you go?" Amen asks, cautiously gazing toward her.

"Anywhere. Mountains, rivers...I don't care. I just..." more tears flow down her cheeks. "I just want to know she is at peace."

Amen's jaw ticks as she sniffles.

"What Livius said was true. She may have kept her identity secret...but her love for you was real. We all saw it. I just didn't know her love...would kill her."

Amen closes his eyes as she wipes her tears. Slipping on her shoes, she gathers her things in two bags. walking out of the house she once shared with Eva.

Outside, she notices Livius is waiting. Surprised, Agnia inspects the horse and carriage he is readying. He notices her approaching, smiling at Eva's pet.

"Livius...you're leaving?"

"Yes," he nods. "I was thinking of traveling. There are many cities and kingdoms in need of a healer."

He notices the bags Agnia carries. "You...you must be leaving, too."

She frowns. "Thebes was a place for opportunity, a chance to make myself useful with jewelry and networking, but...Eva's gone, and I can't find a reason to stay."

Livius nods in understanding before thinking for a moment.

"Come with me."

Agnia blinks. "Excuse me?"

"Come with me. I plan on going west of the Nile, to valleys that no one has ever been. I heard there's beautiful cities, kingdoms of equality. Perhaps..."

Livius smiles. "There's a place where dark magicians are truly free."

"Then..." Agnia nods. "Let's find out."

She throws her things in the back of the carriage, joining Livius in the front seat. Polyb flies in the night whole Omphis/Afiri take the back, settling in for the long journey.

"Where to first?"

Livius smiles. "We spread Eva's ashes along the Nile. Somewhere she can rest in peace."

"You cremated her?"

Livius looks down at the golden urn in his hands. A tight smile broadens his lips, but Agnia can see the tears brimming.

"It's what she wanted."

Agnia squeezes his knee as the carriage starts its journey, away from Thebes for a new beginning.

Any theories on the new Halloween event? People are saying the boys are going to the twst version of pleasure island.

No because, masquerade AND circus events, paired together??? That is a literal match made in heaven, especially for Twst. Pleasure Island is also the perfect setting for a circus themed event. Like, just look at this.

It's just so. good. for a circus theme.

Anywho, on any theories regarding how the story will go, hmmm well, Honest John and Gideon were essentially the ones who led Pinocchio to Pleasure Island. They're not the actual villains themselves, in fact, they're hired by the Coachman to lead boys to this island. Maybe in the event, they're also misled, which very much fits the theme of Twst and how its villains aren't simply 'bad' people.

If they're going with Pleasure Island, by God, it's going to be a really complex story. Pleasure Island is a place where bad boys are led to, and they can do anything there: eat to their heart's content, drink alcohol, smoke, etc. Do things that good kids don't do. But the longer they stay, the more they start to transform into donkeys. And once they completely turn into donkeys, the Coachman strips them of their clothes and ships them out to mines where they are made to labor. And according to the Disney wiki, the origin of Pleasure Island is from the original story where the donkey is a symbol of stupidity in Italy. So supposedly, the moral of the island is that boys who don't care about their education and moral code and engage in "jackass" behavior instead will grow up to become men who can't do anything except do backbreaking labor.

It's pretty haunting to think about. Makes me wonder how Twst will twist this to suit the game. Obviously the boys will make it out alive, but I wonder if the themes of the story will be the same. Or will there be some adjustments to accommodate our contemporary sentiments? Regardless, it's really interesting how both Glomas and the upcoming Halloween event tackle themes of morality. Glomas focuses on the high and mightiness of those who think that they're in the right, on the need for atonement. This event is likely going to tackle the other side, people who succumb to their desires too much that they forget their morals, and the consequences.

On the topic of SSRs, a lot of people are speculating Ace and Ortho. Some say Jade. Some say Jack.

I really do hope for Ortho SSR, as much as it may pain Ortho/Ignihyde fans. He and Pinocchio are so similar in that they're not human, yet they are alive in a way. As for Ace, I really see it! I think he fits the aesthetic very well, that's one. But more than that, Pinocchio is also a story of growing up, particularly in growing up to be the kind of person you want to be. You want to be a good person in society? A bad one? Or somewhere in between? And Ace's character arc is definitely ripe for that theme, because as of now, he's not even sure what he wants to be. His chances of being SSR are a little lower than Ortho's, but I still hold on to the idea that he would be an SSR.

I really do want both tweels to be SRs, not going to lie. But something that interests me is that Pleasure Island is advertised to be free. Free food, free alcohol, free tobacco. But it's not. For all that pleasure, you turn into a donkey. There was a price to pay. And that's very on brand for Octavinelle, so Jade being the third SSR is possible.

On the other hand, Jack being the third SSR would be so delicious. First of all, he's a fellow first year, so the theme of growing up would be so good. Secondly, he has strong principles, to the point of being rigid. It would be so good to see him placed in a situation where his morals are tested, where he has to learn the complexities of the real world while keeping his wits and principles about him.

Man, this event is going to be so good. I'm really excited for October. 😭

Phonicible P. Bone Sr. and Lunette (née Bonebright)

Full of a slick wit and an irresistible charisma, by the end of the day you WILL want what Phonicible's selling. It's gotten him into many a shady deal and sticky situation, much to his older brother's chagrin, but most of the time he's been able to talk his way out of it, somehow. You'd think he'd have girls all over him, but surprisingly not so; Phonicible plans to use his charms to win over one girl in particular, but he has his work cut out for him so far...

Meanwhile, as Heiress to one of the richest families in town, Lunette is used to the finest of delicacies and goods; no imitations. The same goes for her choice of men; she often plays hard to get and abrasive just to get most of her suitors to back off.(Most of them are pompous losers that think women shouldn't vote anyway.) She's slightly intrigued by Phonicible's endeavors to win her over, even more so by his family's old money and illustrious status. If only he didn't dress like a carnival barker out for a quick buck. But he is respectfully persistent, she'll give him that.

Oswald "Ozzie" Bone and Garland (née Bonewort)

Strong as an ox. Gentle as a lamb. Fills a room with laughter wherever he goes. Despite being the baby of the three brothers, Ozzie is larger than life in more ways than one, being one of the few inheritors of what his family calls "The Freak Tall Gene" (Nobody knows where it comes from.) A jack of all trades, Ozzie prefers to help out where he's needed rather than stay stuck in one job forever. He'd even do it for free if it weren't for Phonicible and Silas insisting he get paid for his labor. Ozzie doesn't have many cares in life, but there's something about the girl who lives in that miserable looking run-down shack at the edge of town that he can't get out of his head. If only she saw herself the way he does…

Nowadays, Garland is pretty good at a lot of things. Cooking, sewing, gardening, you name it; you'd be hard pressed to find anyone better at it than her in Boneville. She's never one to brag, though. But once, she hardly had the self worth to think she could do anything right. She used to be a skinny, nervous girl who lived in a dump of a house with even lousier parents, before Oswald met her. She ran away to live with him and never looked back. Afterwards, she blossomed into a beautiful, bubbly person inside and out, with a smile to match.

Silas Bone and Harper (née Brookbone)

As the eldest of the Bone Brothers, Silas takes his job as head of the family very seriously, but it doesn't mean he doesn't like his fair share of fun. An avid writer, he loves documenting the history of his extraordinary family and the interesting town they call home. His books aren't the most popular, but he doesn't mind; he'd love to talk to you about them anyway, especially so with the young library assistant that's his biggest fan...

Quiet, shy, and her face always in a book, Harper isn't really the type of girl that turns any heads. To escape her mundane life as a library assistant, she absorbs herself into the hundreds of books at her disposal and loves to imagine herself as an active member of the adventure. Her favorite of which being the adventures of Big Johnson Bone and his descendants; the most interesting of them being Silas, the author. Chatting with him about his books is the most exciting part of her day...the days he visits the library, at least. Maybe if she pulled herself together and opened herself up to Silas more, he'd finally see her in a different light and make her a part of his story...

I love Zeta, she was my first SSR in Granblue, she's strong in both character and gameplay, but this announcement of a new Grand version of her is kinda really pissing me off, and is part of the larger problem with recent Grands in GBF.

I haven't been around super long in GBF (~2019) so I don't know the entire history behind them, but Grands used to be/are primarily: the Zodiac Generals, main story related characters, followed by anniversary event characters (which is in a way the new main story).

You have some that don't directly fall into those categories: Grimnir and Co (I don't remember what their designation/grouping was) which do tie in to WMTSB even though they don't directly feature, same with Helel, and then the Six Dragons, most of which were released before they became story-relevant in 'And You'. But both those groups also make sense as Grands because they're Primals or primal-adjacent, these guys are stated as being super-powerful, even if their gameplay roles might vary. There are some Grands, like Cain or Nehan, which don't fall into the 'super-powerful' category, but they fit either through their main story or anniversary event relevance. Plus, I like them, and in the case of the Idelva Trio, are direct upgrades from their SR versions, much like the Grand versions of the main crew.

It just makes sense!

Until recently, meaning the release of Grand Jeanne, who is neither main story relevant or anniversary relevant, doesn't feature in an event series, and most crucially, already had a 5* uncap (she also had a summer version but that's whatever). And while YMMV, she's not really notable among the Granblue cast, unlike Grands that would come later. like Grand Cagliostro. I'm loathe to speak against her because. she rocks and could kill me with a snap of her fingers, and while she isn't a Primal, she is one of the strongest in the skies. But she is part of this thing that started with Grand Jeanne, the addition of new versions of characters into the Grand pool despite not fitting the previous criteria and already having multiple alts and/or 5* uncaps. Though I suppose you could make the anniversary event argument for Cagliostro, since she does feature lightly in WMTSB, it doesn't really fit. And the real reason she got a Grand alt, from my perspective at least, is because she is popular and long-staying character, as well as a fan favorite.

Much like the Grands that would follow her: Narmaya, Lancelot, Charlotta, Percival, and now Zeta: all new Grand versions of long-standing, recognizable Granblue characters which also already have multiple alts and 5* uncaps. (Aside: you also have Poseidon, Lich, and Kaguya, which were normal summons in the game prior and fall into the 'powerful Primals' category, despite having little story content or relevance. And yeah, with the upcoming Zeta one, you could say that she has the anniversary event relevance through Home Sweet Moon... which was 2.5 years ago. Yeah, they do tend to release anniversary relevant Grands on the 1 year later rerun of said anniversary, but this is 2~3 years after the fact AND after she already got a new variant of her debuting with said event. That variant, Water Zeta, worked because, despite being after her 5* uncap, sets up for Home Sweet Moon and ties in with the new alts Vaseraga and Beatrix alts for her comrades and Eustace's 5* uncap being through the event. And while I'm interested that the new Grand Zeta will be prologuing the new event and that the writers will be continuing the Society and Moon storylines, I'm not thrilled by this trend of them trying to sell already released characters back to us, even if it is a character I really like.

Which I suppose is a thing that Granblue has been doing the entire time, but it really feels amped up in recent years. And while tier lists should not be the be-all-end-all, if you take a look at the top positions, they're mostly occupied by Grands (which are limited, just reoccuring ones) or other holiday limiteds.

Genku stayed as a hero for a maybe 2 years and quit he’s considered a legend after winning a srs villain. Him and Tamaki got married. And 4 years later Genku open a convent store two story! Bottom is where the shop and top his comfy place~ he wears fake classes and has a different hair style. Him and Amajiki actually had twins. How? Despite them being guys? Nobody knows. Although suspected of amajiki quirk in use. They have twins a boy and a girl. I’ll be redesigning their kids. Also genku Ustkushi was known as monarch one. Monarch one is considered a very strong hero. Despite him leaving behind that hero name he still has fans! Tamaki and Genku kids stay with Genku when Tamaki is working late but they all live together at Tamaki face. But Genku has his own place for himself and the babies.

Dean: Good morning Dad. Before we get going, I just have to ask if it's okay if I record it?

Dean Sr: Sure, okay.

Dean: Okay, cool. Can you tell me about the early days of the company and how it all began?

Dean Sr.: Well, it all started back in 2001 when I decided to take a leap of faith and start my own electrical contracting business. At the time, it was just me and a couple of buddies, and we were primarily focused on residential projects. Over the years, we've grown to a team of five employees and have expanded our services to include commercial and industrial projects as well.

Dean: Cool, cool. What inspired you to start an electrical contracting business, and how did you acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to do so?

Dean Sr.: I've always had a passion for electrical work, and I worked for some plumbing companies and carpentry. I knew that I wanted to pursue a career in the field. I started out as an apprentice and worked my way up to become a master electrician. Along the way, I gained the skills and knowledge needed to start my own business.

Dean: How has the company evolved over the years, and what have been some of the key milestones or turning points?

Dean Sr.: One of the key milestones for us was when we expanded our services to include commercial and industrial projects. This allowed us to reach a wider range of customers and grow the business. Another milestone was when I hired my first employee, which allowed us to take on larger projects and increase our capacity.

Dean: What are some of the unique challenges you've faced as a small family-run business, and how have you overcome them?

Dean Sr.: One of the challenges we've faced is competing with larger companies that have more resources and manpower. And I think I've gotten pretty good at teaching after you and your brother.

It was a challenging project, but we were able to complete it on time and within budget. Another memorable project was when we worked on a historic home that needed extensive electrical work. It was a unique project that required a lot of attention to detail, but we were able to complete it to the client's liking, although the lady was crazy.

Dean: How do you ensure that your employees are well-trained and equipped to handle the demands of the job?

We also focus on building strong relationships with our clients and providing excellent customer service. I've always learned that as long as the customer is happy, you're in a good spot.

Dean: What advice would you give to someone who is considering starting their own electrical contracting business?

Dean Sr.: My advice would be to focus on providing excellent customer service and to always prioritize customers. It's also important to stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends and try not to take on too big of jobs.

Dean: Okay, last question for ya. Looking ahead, what are your goals and aspirations for the future of the company?

The trans community group I'm in is likely doing a little holiday party, last night I moderated but hopefully this is not indicative of me taking over a group this large. I can certainly lead but I'm not enthusiastic about the prospect. I usually go to a few Christmas, Hannukah, and Yule parties thrown by friends too each year. Tomorrow is my monthly ttrpg group event as well, so there's that. I find myself drawn to cult icons, though some stay 'cult' for a reason, mostly unmarketability. I really like those who are constantly changing and encompassing different styles and interests, there's a strong appeal as an artist to want to do it all and keep exploring. Some other favs in this line of thought are Todd Rundgren, Sparks, and They Might Be Giants. Today I finally got a doctor's appointment I've desperately needed for months so I guess that was the main event of the day. I was given a chocolate advent calendar and a Celtic christmas music cd today so I guess that's what I'll have on this year. Not much by way of traditions, I have a tree, but it's outside on the porch so the cat doesn't climb it. edit: stilton

I do feel like something was coming in May for sure. I'm not sure what's going on, but things are for sure off. And it is weird that she all of a sudden announces RED 5 months early after dropping 1989 merch. Cool, no problem, but a weird rollout.

also, another thing that has me doubting the credibility of tta is how direct their messages are. there is a chance that spade is/was legit because they spoke the same language as taylor- one of codes and puzzles. but tta's messages are wayy too straightforward to be approved by taylor i think. so either, as another anon requested, show some proof, like maybe a single release date for red tv or something, or stop sending supposed "tips" <PART 5/5>

Convenient that TTA shows up after Red TV has been announced. Taylor has been dropping hints about all her albums since before May. Red tv being next makes sense and there is Easter eggs and evidence that was the case. Also: if negotiations happened at start of May, why was KK dropping 1989 hints as recent as last week.
