“Ready? Go get it!” For about the fiftieth time today, Laura Lee launches the makeshift ball into the lake and watches as Lottie’s dives in after it.

It’s been a slow day in the wilderness, Lottie and Laura were tasked with retrieving water for baths and while they’ve definitely done that, they’ve also decided to take a break for a little. Lottie quickly regressed to her puppy state that was all too familiar back before they got stuck in this hellscape, and sniffed out a ball of - something - that’s good enough to substitute her old tennis ball.

“Very good pup.” Laura Lee pets at Lottie’s wet head when she drops the ball into her waiting hand. It must be twigs and leaves stuck together with sap, honestly Laura isn’t too sure but it’s holding together enough for them to keep going.

“Do you want to go again or take a break?” She’s found it’s important to ask Lottie if she needs a time out or not because the pup really will go until she drops which can be dangerous for her health.

“Arf!” Lottie responds before curling into Laura’s side and laying her head in her lap with an expecting tip of her cheek on Laura’s thigh as she awaits to be pet.

“What a good girl communicating your needs, you get extra love.” The cold water dripping off Lottie’s hair is quite cold on Laura Lee’s bare skin but she doesn’t mind it too much and starts to run her fingers through Lottie’s hair.

“We’ll have to get back to the others soon.” Lottie whines and nuzzles into Laura more.

“The sun will drop soon, I wouldn’t want them to worry about us.” It’s a quite pleasant sight to watch as the sun slowly sets across the lake and leaves the girls cast in an orange haze.

“Arf?” The infamous puppy dog look crosses Lottie’s face as she tips her head up to stare at Laura.

“I wouldn’t worry pup, the rescuers will come soon. I’m sure of it.” Laura Lee smiles down at her puppy and rubs her thumb across Lottie’s forehead. Soon enough they’ll be out of here and she can play fetch with her girl without worry, they’ll be saved, she can feel it.

idk ive just not had the best mental health the last couple days,,,,, and i haven't been posting song recs bcuz i'm just not very confident in the ones i have drafted. i'll probably stop doing them daily but maybe i'll try to do them weekly instead? tbh i need to get on my finding music grind fr,,,,,,,,,,

eek I totally get that, my mental health has been in the trash since april honestly, been barely struggling along since then, don't feel forced to put out asks or song recs!! I don't mind you dropping in only once in awhile, yourself is more important than anything

and honestly I don't mind pineapple on pizza .... it's so good when it's cooked, any sort of raw pineapple is just overwhelming though:( (also I love eatin lemon slices too ....)

also I've never played Skyrim but my friend kept wanting me to and I'm weak to my friends and would do anything for them 🤕🤕😞 (not complaining, I love my friends)
