Originally, he thought you were of no use and dismissed you BUT he was drawn to your soul, he just couldn’t get enough, he was BOUND to you

Due to your shyness, Shang feels almost Forced to protect you in Kombat, i.e, giving you the easiest opponent possible or not letting you fight at all

If im being honest, you don’t really have to say anything really, you could just whisper to Shang what you want or want to say and he’ll say it for you and get WHATEVER YOU WANT!! HE SPOILS YOU!

I imagine you whispering to Shang Tsung about someone you dont like then bashfully hiding behind him as Shang Tsung simply says “My S/O does not like you, you are not worthy to live” then simply takes their soul, or when you wanted to speak your mind but no one would listen so Shang Tsung just stands behind you creepily and say “THEIR TRYING TO TALK”
