Snowman

I used to love decorative little doodads, crystal things, little figurines, etc. However, as my adulthood wore on, kids happened, and I cleaned the same living room over and over again for 30+ years, my enthusiasm (and even tolerance) for decoration has waned substantially.

Yesterday I visited an old friend from my actuary days. We had a nice lunch and talk. Unfortunately, a lot of what I had to share was bad news (kid's broken leg, Hero not eating well, tax issues.) I felt a little bad about that, but . . it happens. When I was leaving she wanted to give me one of the snowmen from her Decorative Snowman Collection. I think she just wanted to do something to cheer me up. There was no tactful way to say no. So I came home with a small snowman plushie.

What. to do.

Helping with chores

Meeting new friends, learning new hobbies. Hay bales are heavy.
