Upcoming Magical Girl Projects
Magical girl fans are finally eating good after years of starvation. So good, in fact, that I decided to make a list of magical girl projects in development.
Tumblr media
The Magical Girl and the Evil Lieutenant Used to Be Archenemies - The most imminent of these projects, since it's premiering only in a few days. It's the story of the forbidden romance between the magical girl Byakuya Mimori and Mira, a high-ranking official of an army trying to take over the world.
Tumblr media
Mermaid Magic - In a new western magical girl show from the same studio as Winx Club, Princess Merlinda, with her friends Sasha and Nerissa in tow, ventures to the human world in order to find a way to save her homeland of Mertropia from the ghost pirate Barbarossa and his monster horde. Dropping on Netflix next month.
Tumblr media
Acro Trip - One of several new magical girl series coming out in the Fall 2024 anime season, Acro Trip follows Chizuko Date as her efforts to increase appreciation for her idol, local magical girl Berry Blossom, takes her down a "dark path filled with strange folks."
Tumblr media
Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc. - Kana Sakuragi is having a hard time finding work, botching over 15 different job interviews. However, her luck changes when a series of events lands her a job at the magical girl company Magilumiere.
Tumblr media
The Story of the Girl Who Couldn't Become a Wizard - The third of the magical girl anime coming out in October, MahoNare for short tells the story of Kurumi Mirai as she tries to become a wizard anyways after failing to get into her school's magic division.
Tumblr media
Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie - Walpurgisnacht Rising - The fourth PMMM movie, which will pick up where Rebellion's massive cliffhanger left off. It's currently set to come out sometime later this year.
Tumblr media
Cute High Earth Defense Club Eternal Love! - The magical boy series is getting a new movie in winter 2025 as part of the celebrations for its 10th anniversary. While the movie will "consist entirely of new scenes that will be newly drawn," exact plot details are unknown. (Added August 7, 2024)
Tumblr media
Mahou Tsukai Precure: Mirai Days - A new installment in the Precure franchise, Mirai Days will serve as a sequel to Mahou Tsukai, the thirteenth season. Even though it's premiering early next year, specific plot details are currently unknown.
Tumblr media
Princess Session Orchestra - A TV original coming next year, Princess Session Orchestra is based on a concept by Akifumi Kaneko, one of Symphogear's co-creators. The land of Alicepia's peace is destroyed when monsters called Jammerwocks attack, prompting a trio of young girls to step up the plate to protect the realm.
Tumblr media
Winx Club - The western magical girl classic is getting a CGI reboot. While comments by Iginio Straffi imply that certain characters who were introduced later in the original series (such as Roxy and Nabu) will appear earlier, no specific plot details have been revealed so far. The series is coming to Netflix late next year.
Tumblr media
New Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt - Panty & Stocking is getting a second season after over a decade that's coming out sometime next year with no specific plot details revealed yet. (Added August 7, 2024)
Tumblr media
Project Symphogear Next - A new Symphogear movie was announced late last year. However, no further details have been revealed.
Tumblr media
Hua Xianzi: Zhi Mofa Xiang Dui Lun - A co-production between Tencent Video and Toei Animation's Shanghai branch, this anime is being billed as a "remake" of Lunlun the Flower Fairy. That being said, promises of "a fresh story and characters" make it sound more like a reboot.
Tumblr media
Studio Pierrot's new anime - Studio Pierrot, which has made a variety of magical girl anime from Creamy Mami to Tokyo Mew Mew, has announced that they're creating a new TV original magical girl anime. No specific details have been disclosed, but the caption for the teaser image ("I want you to sing once more...") implies that it'll be a magical idol anime.
Tumblr media
Lolirock season three - After Lolirock's second season ended with a cliffhanger all the way back in 2017, it seemed like the story would never get a proper conclusion. However, the series's creator and director, Jean-Louis Vandestoc, announced on his Instagram in 2023 that creative meetings for a third season have begun.
Tumblr media
Magic Knight Rayearth revival - TMS Entertainment is making a new Magic Knight Rayearth anime in honor of the franchise's 30th anniversary. Unfortunately, it's currently unknown what the format will be.
Tumblr media
Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card season two - The sequel to the magical girl classic is getting a second season that will adapt the rest of the manga.
Tumblr media
Magical Girl holoWitches - A multimedia project starring six VTubers as fictionalized versions of themselves who work as both streamers and magical girls who save people when they get trapped in the magical Holocas World. There was a four minute extended trailer in May, but the anime's proper premiere date is unknown.
Tumblr media
Ojamajo Doremi 16-20's - An adaptation of Ojamajo Doremi's light novel sequel series, which follows the girls as they grow from being in their mid-teens to early 20s. Interestingly, the format for the adaptation (TV show, movie, or streaming series) will be based on the reception of a music video featuring the girls as adults.

Walpurgisnacht Rising thoughts under the readmore. Just observations and mild theory-crafting, I just needed to spit my thoughts out lol. Feel free to reply with your own thoughts because I want to discuss so badly.
So I’m thinking that Homura’s answering the phone and saying “Do you acknowledge the risks? Can you fight the curses of this world?” (paraphrasing, I closed the stream) means she’s directly taken over Kyuubey’s job of recruiting magical girls.
The childish voices on the phone(? Seems like it since there’s a hang up sound later) make me think of the Clara Dolls, especially since they say “Akuma-sama”. Makes sense that her subordinates would call her that.
The mystery magical girl’s outfit has very similar motifs to Homura’s. It’s also surprisingly Mami-like to me.
Madoka jumping off the building with shoes off, obviously invokes the image of suicide. My three theories are 1) start of a new transformation sequence for Madoka, 2) a dream or vision of some kind Homura has, or 3) Madoka got emotionally possessed (like witches used to do with their kiss) and drawn to suicide.
Sayaka’s face being bandaged calls to mind her being muzzled in the old concept movie trailer. No idea how much of that film was preserved here, I imagine some ideas carried over.
On the tower at the end, we see multiple Homuras alongside the Clara Dolls. Not sure if this is symbolic or if she’s got some clones running around. There’s also two Homuras with different outfits on the key visual.
I’m many thoughts head full tonight.

new visual for 劇場版 魔法少女まどか☆マギカ〈ワルプルギスの廻天〉(Puella Magi Madoka☆Magica the Movie - Walpurgisnacht: Rising -)
This promotional looks really interesting. And that's for multiple reasons. The first one being the power dynamic and its nice use of composition and structure. Usually, with shows that feature humans vs. a system or humans vs. the concept of a system, the human is overpowered and dominated by the figure of the concept—barely even an ant in its face. But in this image, Homura, a presumed doppelganger of hers, and a strange abstract phone-looking thing have much more presence and power over the concept Madoka, who, for the entire series, was the focal point of Homura's universe.
The most prominent figures in this photo are the two Homuras in a face-off and the abstract phone syringe-looking thing. And only after looking at those two things do our eyes get led to the teensy-tiny Madoka at the vanishing point, and we're led there by the yellow beaming flares at the center as well as the streetlights at the two Homuras' legs. In short, Madoka feels almost like a background character with how small she feels in comparison to the other elements present.
This can be read as Homura finally confronting herself and addressing the issues with her actions regarding her obsession over Madoka. That's only a hypothetical, though, since I've yet to take into account all of the other elements in this promotional. But then again, they are the elements with the most prominence, so my reading could very well be valid.
Now, to address the usage of architecture and symbolism,
But as much as I'd like to address the symbolism, I can't even begin to attach a conclusive meaning and explain whatever this phone syringe serpent thing is supposed to symbolize. I can present multiple of my own personal interpretations, but without extra context, I would be throwing ideas into thin air. I could probably explain the disparate parts present in the symbol, but that would take way too long. So I'll just leave that for sometime else and start talking about the architecture.
The use of architecture in MadoMagi has always amazed me with how they're always capable of adding something to the scene they're featured in; whether that be pure and simple eye candy to benefit the atmosphere and tone of the scene, or if they were thematically relevant, the builds never fail to improve my overall enjoyment of the scenes they are present in. These builds can be much more grounded in reality or something that leans more towards the fantastical and surreal. In the case of this promotional, it's both.
The buildings that surround, crush, and loom over our characters, Madoka especially, whatever they're supposed to be, doesn't matter all that much. Apartments, offices, studios—it doesn't matter. All that does matter is that people occupy these buildings. Red lights in the windows and even in the construction going on in the background. Not only do they complement the yellows and oranges present in the photo, but they also signal an error in the system and maybe even symbolize animosity.
The red lights in the windows of the people-occupied buildings may signify the animosity and hate that's directed towards Homura for dragging Madoka out of her godlike state. It may also mean the same thing as the lights at the construction site: a signal of an error, an indication that the build is incomplete—that it's missing a piece—that piece being Madoka. The red lights in the surrounding buildings, in this case, might be referring to everyone who is in limbo, calling Madoka to their sides.
The construction site plays a similar role. Since it's close to the center, it acts as a beacon to warn of its incompletion. It draws Madoka to the center like a bug to a light, begging her to complete herself and the world at the same time. But obstructing her path is what appears to be a coffin under a tower, with a spiral staircase and a birdcage at its top. But whether this is supposed to be where she's actually supposed to be, I'm not sure.
I'm also not sure whether what is at the bottom of the tower is actually a coffin, but if it were, then it'd be really fitting. She would be working tirelessly at her task for the rest of her life as a messiah figure, as a concept without an actual life to her name—dead, boxed inside a coffin. Then there's the tower. Towers are normally designated for people with power in a story, an antagonistic force, or a concept to stand against, but in this instance, the tower is overshadowed by everything else present in the picture, and with the birdcage at the top, it's clear that this is supposed to be something akin to a display rack for Madoka.
All of this, plus the dutch angle, makes this promotional feel literally and figuratively unbalanced. That this world isn't in its ideal state and could lose its balance and topple over at any second. The power dynamics and the composition of the image are lopsided, and I think this disharmony perfectly describes the state of MadoMagi's story.

Got my ass handed to me in ranked zero builds so
I think it’s time to finally write my Madoka magica movie four theory thoughts
MxSquibby's Walpurgisnacht Rising theory thoughts
(Thoughts are based off my knowledge of the franchise so I could be missing vital info)
I think the big premise for this movie is showing off Walpurgisnacht’s lore or some info about her. and like usual she is going to disrupt Homura’s wish. Or In this case her world and probably force homura to make a choice.
by the logic of Homura’s wish.
Three peoples karmic destiny should have been cranked up to a billion since the timelines always converged the most around 3 people.
Madoka(who the wish was for) and her amount karmic destiny is why she was able to make the ultimate wish and become the law of cycles for magical girl kind.
Homura (who made the wish) increased her own amount of karmic destiny which is why she was able to split apart Madoka (and take her memories?) and rewrite the universe to her liking which essentially just what she did in her labyrinth, but with more production value and can change the entire universe and not limited within the confines of her labyrinth and witch magic.
I’m guessing Homura’s got Madoka in what I like to call “The Good Place Season 2”
Which light spoilers for that show ahead but
One of the main characters, Michael, traps Eleanor and the other humans within a time loop. Erasing their memories every time Eleanor figures out what Michael is doing to them. Repeating this over and over. Over 800(0?) times, with each time him slightly tweaking and changing things to try and get a different outcome of her not figuring it out.
I think this what Homura’s doing to an extent. We saw at the end of rebellion, how fragile Homura’s hold on Madoka’s memories was. However all homura really has to do is ground Madoka back down to homura’s rewritten reality and since a part of Madoka does want to stay on earth and live a normal life this helps her forget easily of her god hood. However this very fact is what will always make her remember in the end. If madoka truly starts to enjoy her life on earth, She knows deep in her SOUL that she sacrificed her normal human life for a cosmic duty of Saving magical girls so anytime she thinks to hard about it or just kind of realizes she should only being viewing the lives of normal people not interacting with them she will start to remember and become magical girl god again but homura will just grab her again and reset her memories and then rewrite the timeline. Starting once again… essentially... ANOTHER TIME LOOP. Homura’s favorite thing 😂😭
And I’m guessing Homura’s got to do this a lot. Like hundreds of times. And if sayakas around during one these moments she sure as hell is also going to remember homura being a “devil” so homura will have no choice but to rewrite the timeline again and again. With each time she’s most likely going to make slight changes to the world in attempt to make Madoka not remember. I think it’s why she remembers so easily at first. It was waaaay to similar to the thousands of timelines her and homura lived through (ultimate Madoka is aware of all the timeloops homura and her went through so following that similar time loop structure will probably make her remember faster so Homura is going to start changing things. Which is whyyy we see the girls in different costumes at one point in the trailer. (I think this is why in that old ass concept trailer we saw Madoka being a ballerina, one to resemble Madoka just being part of Homura’s elaborate play now but to show her trying normal human things. Homura's going to help her find her human dreams. Maybe madoka wanted to be a dancer. Then after that fails Homura probaby thinks if she can find a perfect scenario where Madoka find some sense of self on earth maybe she will stop remembering her godhood. Maybe Homura can finally live a full human life with her and watch her grow. Maybe Madoka being a dancer, a painter, a musician, a celebrity. Something right? Will stop Madoka from reaching her magical girl potential. Homura’s so obsessed with giving Madoka the life she shouldn’t have had to sacrifice. So she will try over and over to make her happy. To find the one scenario...timeline if you will, where Madoka will be truly happy within her rewritten world.
Which will be a fun way to show the girls in different scenarios that we usually wouldn’t see them in. So like cool new costumes!!! Like cool bandage sayaka is just one of Homura’s AU’s or a by product of one of the new timelines she has rewritten. And sayaka is probably going to have a bigger part. Idk why I just feeeel it. She has special secretary powers. I believe in her. We saw all that special treatment they gave her in S2E1 of the anime timeline of magia record. Bitches love Sayaka. And like Bebe also has secretary powers I guess lol. But she just wants to hangout with mami and eat cheeeeeeese (yoooo plagg and bebe would be besties)
but This movie is just explaining the 3rd girl who’s karmic destiny was increased by this wish and then background info cause we know like nothing about her…
Walpurgisnacht (the reason homura HAD to repeat timelines)
Walpy (for short) is going to put an end to this loop homura and Madoka are trapped in. Or at least change or add to it.
what is concerning is that Walpy’s karmic destiny was already extremely high to begin with for her to end up looking like that. So logically she should be stronger than devil homura, and the only reason she isn’t stronger than ultimate Madoka is because of the wish of Ultimate Madoka made to erase witches. But since madoka’s slightly nerfed at the moment trapped in Homura’s rewritten reality, no one’s actively checking on the law of cycles. Sure girls don’t turn into witches but without Madoka actively monitoring the cycle this might have given some version of Walpy enough time or power to form or to come back and interfere. So I’m guessing homura might have to choose between keeping her time loop safe (and live her fantasy life with madoka) or let Madoka out so she can defeat Walpurgisnacht from destroying the universe homura has tried gone so far to get control of…. Cause homura, at least historically can not beat Walpy lol. So i'm guessing Walpy will always come back to cause universal destruction unless madoka is back. So will Homura be able to let go of her love for sake of the universe? a choice between keeping her love down on earth with her or letting her go and accepting that she’s nothing more than a universal concept. But like Homura’s crafty. She could weasel her way out of this
I will say a crack in this theory is from my own understanding that Walpy is made up of many magical girls? So either we are dealing with many girls coming in or some fusion magical girl perhaps? Or I guess just one of the girls from Walpy would do right? Perhaps the first girl? Though we don’t know if this was an individual wish, and then she absorbed other magical girls/witches or like a group wish? Kind of like the hospital trio. Like you can do a group wishes I suppose.
ALSO another addition to my thoughts. Homura isn’t the Antagonist. Should state that. Kyubey is. And like i haven’t even talked about this fucker yet. (Well in terms of the franchise as a whole, guessing for movie 4 Walpy is our more traditinal antagonist (She also probably takes the form of homura at first to fuck with her, Why we see two homura's in the Movie Poster but thats just a theory lol) but He? little rat noy. Within Homura’s new world order. He’s Most likely just collecting all despair and probably just collecting and suffering with the weight of all negative human emotions and curses within a labyrinth. Like. She probably just making him and the hive mind know what it’s life to feel emotions, specifically all those negative ones you’ve been putting magical girls through for hundreds of years. But like he could be up to some fuck shit. He technically is like a robot made by an alien race, right? So like they could finally pull up on us or something and be like “what have you done to my robo rat sons, you fucks”
But anyway I’m rambling a bit now but homura isn't the antagonist because she pulls Madoka from the law of cycles for a multitude of reasons, she states it’s for her love for Madoka. Which yes that is true but homura also understands Madoka should have never had to make this wish. The flower field scene conversation in rebellion is what makes homura realize this. Madoka is a normal girl, she just never got the time to figure herself out or to figure out normal human dreams. She was a young naive girl, where in many timelines used her wish to save a cat or make a cake. Because at first glance being a magical girl is a once in a lifetime opportunity, you don’t pass up. So she never got a shot at a real life when she should have. Madoka never wanted to leave behind her friends and family. She loves them. Like the girl don’t got much That’s like one of her core traits, she loves her friends, is a great daughter, and a great big sister, love cute things, is pink like 😭😭 But Madoka was just another cog in the magical girl machine but because of Homura’s wish it gave a Madoka a chance to look at the whole machine and see what the fuck has been going on. So Madoka, with no real dreams or goals, but is given the opportunity and explicitly told by the evil rat himself that she could make literally ANY wish. So when she sees everything and realizes she has the unique opportunity to save all magical girl kind from their souls being tortured for all eternity until murdered by another magical girl well no shit she HAS to make this wish. She doesn’t have any other choice in her eyes. To badly paraphrase Kyoko. "Something something if you have a loving family and good food on the table why on earth would you sacrifice that to be a magical girl? but who knows maybe one day you’ll be backed into a corner and you’ll HAVE to make a wish. If that day comes something something I guess i can approve of you being a magical lass"
So like. Is it fair? Ya know. All this is Kyubey and some alien race’s fault. Why should these girls have to suffer because of him. Who cares about the heat death of the universe. Let it burn, because if torturing magical girls is the only way of keeping it alive then fuck the universe. Like Madoka shouldn’t have to sacrifice her human life to save all these girls from suffering because they shouldn’t be suffering. They shouldn’t be turning into witches. Like 😭 and homura doesn’t think it’s fair that Madoka should be the one to make this sacrifice to save magical girls because Madoka wouldn’t have even been able to make the ultimate wish if not for homura’s wish but like also homura shouldn’t have been turned into a magical girl herself like it’s all fucked and idk what the end would even look like?
So Like a happy ending would be getting revenge on the RAT kyubey… and like idk. I don’t think that’s happening. Like if you want a happy ending for these girls I believe it falls within our little anomaly timeline. Which I like to believe the magia record game timeline is held within a phone. (Cause get it, it’s like a gacha game we play on our phones lol.) and when Madoka touched the anomaly timeline at the end of arc 1? Now the record phone screen is cracked 🫨🫨
I don’t think we’ll get a horrific or completely tragic ending but it will probably be bittersweet or mixed emotions. (Would LOVE TO BE WRONG, GIMMIE HAPPY) But also we won’t see the end end to this franchise for a hot minute lol. Like I’m pretty sure this is technically be advertised as the 4th movie. Though more like the second movie but I guess the movie versions of the anime do count I guess. Idk. The first two movies are fine, best part is just some updated animation and new yuki Kajiura tracks… but yeah i don’t think it’s the final movie.
Now what like actually happens? Fuck if I know. I’m still half expecting mayabu to find infinite iroha and make her pop in to save everyone cause idk. Is homura realllllly gonna let Madoka go. Ya know? Like she’ll probably try to control Walpy or fight her for a hot minute before even considering of letting Madoka go again.
And ALSO.
Okay I feel like I covered all my brain theories about the movie... for now… Idk if I explored or finished every thought. I know I be yapping. And I have adhd so And I can YAP about Madoka and then immediately forget where exactly I was at in my Madoka thoughts.
Imagine how more I could yap if I read the wraith arc. (It’s truly laughable how I’ve read all of arc 1 and the other story with it, most of arc 2 (I skimmed early bits so I could catch up faster, then end of arc 2 was happening and I wanted to be a cool kid and read it asap) quite a few events, and the early chapters of scene 0 (now behind lol) BUT NOT the wraith arc. And I know I could pull it up so easily lol. Hell I read the event where ui went back in time to see fart but not the wraith arc I- I read Christmas strings but i wont take my lazy butt to read manga of my fave series within like kind of main timeline. Like i know i dont need to read but I need to read it. cause having a better understanding of Ultimate Madoka's universe and how wraiths work would be cool. and maybe one of these days ill read another story but idk... Think id rather read tart or Oriko first lol
but yeah i've got to stop myself of this post will never end. I'll prpbably re-read it tomorrow and add edits lol
ALSO one last thought this is a theory I could be Super fucking wrong about everything. Like maybe sayaka looking like that cause of her secretary powers and not homura's universe rewriting at play? like there's so much i don't know haha
and again my theory could fall apart with like new info i didn't know about. there's a lot of content madoka content out there ya know

Walpurgisnacht Theory part 2.
Part 1 Part 2
Here is part 2 of my insanity cause by the Walpurgisnacht Rising trailer.
TLDR: There has been a third being all along besides the Goddess and The Lizard Girl, Walpurgisnacht.
Since the concept movie was released years ago, people have been talking about the sequel of Rebellion is going to be Madoka vs Homura, but i think that all has been a misdirection.
When the teaser was released in 2021, most of us thought that this was Homura's hand:
Tumblr media
But look closely, this is not a hand with dark gloves, this is a bare hand in low light, reaching for a fractured reflection of Madoka.
Not Goddess Madoka, but the regular magical girl Madoka.
The concept movie talks about a goddess and a lizard girl, Madoka and Homura respectively, but what if there has been a third being in that is not referred by name but it's there nevertheless.
What if that hand belongs to whoever is trapped inside Walpurgisnacht like Homura was during Rebellion ?.
The broken glass imagery in the Walpurgisnacht Rising trailer was what made me think of this.
In this part of the Concept Movie:
Tumblr media
People have been discussing that this is about Homura not backing down from the events of Rebellion, but then this is what it follows:
Tumblr media
Birds are not Homura's motif, she is the lizard girl, and then there is:
Tumblr media
So what if this is all about Walpurgisnacht or the magical girl it used to be?
The call for help, mentioning resentment, "You Have Me", the "Fairies", what if this is about Madoka reaching out to that girl ?.
This is the last sequence of the concept movie, after this, it ends with a shot of one of Mami's guns firing.
And before this, there is imagery of fire and the same orange lighting of the trailer where the new designs are shown.

If I have to talk about my expectations about Walpurgisnacht Rising, are probably very low in comparison with 2014 when I watched Rebellion for the first time.
I mean, like almost every person, our taste for something changes through time, and it was no exception with PMMM. But don't misunderstand me, I still like PMMM. It's actually one of my favorite anime franchises and probably my favorite Magical Girl anime. I can even say I enjoy it more than I did in 2014. However, I can't say the same thing about Rebellion.
If I have to put it in a simple phrase:
"I did like the ending, but I actually don't like how do they get to that ending".
The idea of Homura becoming the main antagonist of the story was brilliant. However, the movie didn't explain at all how did she decided to do at the end of the film. They didn't even explain why she could separate a freaking concept and even less how did she acquired such amount of power to do it. And no, just telling that power is "love" is the same as believable of on Fairy Tail's power up in its final arc.
I know that Rebellion has a prequel in manga format called: Wraith Arc. But instead of giving me answers that the movie didn't, they only give me more questions and plots that actually feels to forced to the main story.
In addition, the objective from a spin-off is not answering questions that the main story didn't, but only be a complementary material to enrich this universe that I really love. A good example for this is PMMM: The Different Story, that work a prequel of the first two movies, but it isn't necessary to read to understand the main story. And I am telling this because I don't want Madoka Magica to become a Franchise that depends on every single material they release to understand the main plot like Kingdom Hearts or others franchises.
To be honest, I think Wraith Arc could have been a good "What If" about Homura getting accustomed to the world Madoka created and how she need to learning on living a life without her. I even think that the main story could have taken that route.
Also, the hiatus has been toooooo long. The next year will be 10 years since the theatrical release of Rebellion, and the only news about a sequel we got was the last year (I don't count the concept trailer because we don't even know if they will be using these ideas for the sequel). And Magia Record has a very limited accessibility to the community since there only servers in Japan. Also the idea of a side story having consecutive new content instead of prior the main story (knowing they ended it on a huge cliffhanger) is a bit frustrating.
It's not that I don't like the franchise take one or two years of inactivity. I understand that Urobuchi and Shinbo wanted to work on other projects. But it doesn't help a interview where the writer stays he has finished the script of the sequel in 2014 (do not know if this latest info is real, but if it does, damn Urobuchi).
Well, that's everything I wanted to say by the moment. It's not that I am not expecting the sequel, but Shaft really didn't know how to stay alive the hype in the community.
PS: I probably should have put this at the beginning, but this is only an opinion about my actual relation with this franchise. So don't take it personal, please.
