A picture of my own 110 camera. The Pentax Auto 110. I have only ever shot with the 24mm f2.8, but would love to try out my 50mm and 18mm lens. The lenses also work on my Ricoh GXR with a 3D printed adapter. The flange distance of the Pentax Auto 110 is short than that of the Ricoh GXR, so the lenses are fixed slightly behind the M mount of the A12 module. 😳 It's still such a treat that the three lenses I have for the Pentax Auto 110 also cover APS-C sized sensors. ✨ If I ever stop shooting 110 film the lenses won't go to waste. 😄

The photo itself was shot with the Sigma 35mm f1.4 DG HSM Art lens and a Pentax K-1 II. ✨

Hi! I just wanted to know what lens and camera setup you use! I saw you got a mirrorless and I've been thinking of branching out to one but can't decide which!

Hello anon, thank you very much for your message!

I currently use the Canon EOS R, but I likely won’t keep it. It really is a great camera for landscapes, portraits and street photography, but as soon as you need a reliable and fast autofocus, it dissapoints in my opinion. Before that I had my lovely 60D and I thought that the R would definitely do better in action situations, but not necessarily. I know it is not made for that, but I am happy with 5 frames per second as long as they are focused - which they unfortunately aren’t. 

Personally I would like to get more into wildlife photography and such (Zuna isn’t my only photo subject :D) and therefore I will need so get something else. Also I want running shots of Zuna to be better and not so much of a luck game. I will probably get the R6 as it’s really recommended for what I want to do. 

Sorry for the little rant ^^ This topic reeeeallly has been bothering me lately. 

But for the mirrorless part, I love the R. For me it took a while to get used to all the new options and possibilities I have with it and I still don’t understand everything a 100%. Personally I haven’t noticed any disadvantages in comparison to a DSLR. Only advantages. 

As for lenses, I use the EF-EOS R - adapter + Sigma Art 24mm-35mm f2; Sigma Art 85mm f1.4 DG HSM and the Canon 70mm-200mm 2.8 L II.

SIGMA SD Quattro H + Art 24mm F1.4 DG HSM

SDQH用のレンズ、85mmの次に買うべきはどれかをずっと思案してきた。超広角はDP0があるので、軽量でスナップに使えそうな24/35mmか、SDでしか対応できないさらなる望遠側の増強か。夏のボーナスをあてにしてサンニッパズームにしようかとも思ったが、どう考えても手持ちでは辛いし価格分の出番があるとも思えないので、24mm、24-35mm、135mmの3本に絞り込んだ。そんな時に24mmの中古美品がお安く出ているのを見つけてしまい、即決してしまった。シグマSAマウントのレンズは数が少ないだけに中古品も潤沢にあるわけではないので、見つけた時が買い時だ。まだ試し撮り程度だけど、85mmよりもだいぶ軽量・コンパクトなので、これから出番が増えそう。写りも開放から素晴らしいね。さすがArtライン。
