Thunder Rosa vs. Deonna Purrazzo (2/5 hype)

Rosa, by virtue of being an existing AEW fan fave. I think the sucky part about this matchup is it feels like "Toni Storm's leftovers" as far as story goes. I haven't been following super closely though. I wish I could give Deonna the W because I think she deserves better as one of Impact's big stars. But they haven't really set up much and I'm fond of Rosa. Kind of wish Rosa had the world championship right now, ngl. I think Toni could finish her "Mariah May's heart on a pole match" without the belt.

Adam Copeland vs. Malakai Black, (4/5 hype)

Anarchy in the arena matches are always soooooo fun. I actually don't care who wins this but I think it would be funny to make the Bucks eat shit. I am so ready to see Okada do a chaos deathmatch. I am excited to see Jack Perry on fire. This match will probably be the show-stealer for me, AEW is sooooo good at delivering these.

since i had to go back reading old conversations about the Uri and Pravaal shib becoming canon for the future AU post i thought i'd take some sketched notes on the rescuins scene now that i kind of finalized their outfits... it's supposed to continue with this(pravaal still didn't have the new outfit here) and this (i only now noticed the similarity with the scene when uri's mother was kidnapped when young and didn't want to be saved by his father even if their context and reasons were completely different as she was legit scared of him, Uri is just throwing a tantrum cause of his heavy denial)

Basic Info:

Birthday: It’d be fucked up if I put October 31st considering the Shi//buya arc, so how about May 2nd

Likes: sweets, a planned vacation, trying new recipes

Dislikes: More of an annoyance with people that act smug when they talk about stuff they only have basic knowledge about

Cursed technique: I’ll be honest I don’t feel like researching cursed techniques again. For now I’ll just throw cool ideas at the wall and see what sticks. Basic is that her powers are based on playing cards. Numbers show how strong the attack will be (with it scaling from low ace to king), and each suit has a different effect. The effects might change the recipient based on its color, too. So if she draws a red 9 of spades, that means she gets a 9 time power boost.

Domain is Russian Roulette where there’s 6 chances to do an insta-kill, but one could easily kill her instead.

Background, Personality & Changes I’ve Made to Canon:

Background: Originally I had her be Na//na//mi’s coworker in a different department that provided him small stuff like beverages, snacks, or blankets when he worked at his old job. But now I want her to be cooler than that. Let’s make her a bartender that he and the other teachers visit after work. Might be called Suits?

Personality: She’s really just cool personified. Easy-going, wise beyond her years, smoked 10 cigarettes for breakfast when she went to college, hates working but does it anyway, etc.

Changes I’ve Made to Canon: *takes Ge//ge’s characters and runs* “AT LEAST USE THEM, ASSHOLE!” So yeah for canon, she originally worked under Na//na//mi’s office. She could also potentially be an assistant for Hir//omi but eh. Depends. Not sure if I want to put her in Shib//uya onward.

Buuuut if I could I’m taking the characters into an AU that’s basically Bartender or Cheers. Maybe Dea//th Parade if I feel inspired enough to work in the cursed techniques.

Also I originally had her technique be trapping an enemy in ribbons to make them cursed spirits, but I felt that was too similar to what I have for my Detergent OC, Courtney
